Hey y'all! I'm here with a Kaisaki one-shot. I hope you'll like it !
Now ONWARDS my COMRADES !
For the hundredth time since she'd arrived, Misaki looked around nervously, half scared to death.
When Miwa had challenged her to a cardfight the other day, she had NOT expected to lose, and be given a ticket to a haunted maze, with stern instructions to, not to leave unless she walked through the whole thing. And though she would not admit it, she was terrified of all the horrifying jumpscares.
The man in the front of the maze had told her that it took at least an hour and a half to get through the whole thing. She was only twenty minutes through and was nearly losing her mind. She screamed as a man holding a plastic chainsaw jumped at her and slapped him hard, sending the man wailing into a tent about needing an ambulance.
This wasn't going too well.
She walked through what looked like an overgrown garden, shivering as the wind swirled leaves around her feet, and stopped completely when she heard the crunch of someone stepping on a twig. She turned around and and asked in a quivering voce . '' Who's there?''
No reply.
She convinced herself that it was probably her her mind playing tricks on her, and continued walking, stopping every now and then, and checking to see if no one was there.
Crunch.
Misaki turned around, her heart thumping wildly. She bent down, grabbed a fallen stick, and held it threatingly. She looked all around and saw the outline of a person against some trees. She closed her eyes as she felt the persons hands on her shoulders, and waited for something to happen. When at least 5 minutes went by, she finally turned around and saw...KAI?!
The brunette calmly stared back at her, looking completely devoid of emotion, except there was a faint blush on his cheeks. He held her shoulders and turned her the other way, then he placed a hand over her eyes, and guided her through the entire thing. And there was a small smile on his face that never left.
After what seemed like an eternity, they finally reached the end. Kai slowly removed his hands from Misaki's eyes. She was so astonished and couldn't say anything. She blushed and fidgeted with her skirt trying to stammer out a word of thanks. But Kai just let go and tried to leave. He turned around but before he could move any further, he felt a hand on his wrist, stopping him from moving. When he looked back he saw Misaki trying to say something. Finally she gave out a sigh, leaned over and gave him a peck on the cheek.
He stood in front of her, mouth gaping open. Misaki just smiled at his expression, and waving goodbye, walked out. Kai placed a hand on the cheek she had kissed in stunned silence.
Then, he smiled and moved away.
