So this chapter is kinda OC. So I am don't know to how to write a true nord because this chapter has a true nord in it but i am unsure if they would worship Talos. I'm assuming not because Talos is part of the imperial pantheon while Ysmir is part of the nordic pantheon. I wish it was elaborated more on how same gods with different names are worshipped. But also I heard how the Imperial really just brainwashed birds over multiple centuries so they referred to the divines instead of their own pantheon.

Also a location we are visiting is a place where a dragon would usually spawn but since they just appeared I'll just say that they aren't in their spots yet. Oh by the way I forgot to mention but this fanfic is based on Skyrim: Anniversary edition, because I like some of the additions in it. Anyway enjoy this chapter.

K'avar is currently lost. He thought he was going on the direction of Ivarstead but he should have gotten there by now. Luckily his hands don't hurt at much anymore, only a sting, but they are very scarred and K'avar assumes that he'll probably get keep those scars for the rest of his life. He had bigger problems, it started to snow and he has no shelter, and he is starting to get exhausted. He kept on wandering until he had come across the an old stone building with a few towers. He really hopes there is no outlaws cause he really doesn't what to deal with them.

He carefully goes inside of the tower and it was uneventful. He realizes that no one has inhabited the tower in a while, there still might be some useful items. He found some a few coins, and some fire wood. He decided that he will make camp here tonight after he cleared out the buildings and towers. He ended up finding a strongbox which he took so he can try and unlock it later. In one of the rooms he found a chest that was covered in come debris, it was also locked so he made note of it so he can bring it to his camp. He made his way through the buildings and found nothing. He made his way to the outside area of the tower to see any other minerals that he can use, when he saw a strange wall. He knows it is a wall, but something is pulling him to it. He got closer and noticed some details. It is curved and it has some sort of writing. K'avars vision started to go dark and some glow is coming from it now. He kept walking toward, he put his hand across the word that glowed.

KRII

Kill

K'avars eyes got back to normal and the glowing stopped. He didn't know what was going on, first the giant shadow resuscitated a large creature, next the loud shouting and now a strange glowing wall.

'You know I've been awake for a while, I just need to sleep.'

K'avar went back to the tower and secured a room by covering the entrances with old book selves and drawers that were in the room and made camp and slept.

K'avars eyes shot open and his torso got up. He hasn't been asleep for long cause the fire was still going.

Crack

There was a branch cracking outside of his camp, and the cracking sounded like someone stepped on the branch. Adrenaline started rushing through K'avars blood, he got ahold of his scimitar being prepared to attack.

Bwoosh

A large figure crashed through the entrance with a heavy battle axe. From the how the figure look he looked like an orc. He has full steel armor that has some blood covered in it. From what it looks it is not his own. He got his scimitar ready for battle waiting for the orc to make his move.

"Ha, hey there milk drinker why don't you put down your weapon and we can talk this out." The orc spat with a grin that K'avar didn't trust.

"How about you get the hell away before I slash your ugly jaw off orc!" K'avar sneered as he got ready to dodge. He is going to let the orc make the first move, since he moves slower K'avar is going to attack when he is unable to defend. Something is clogging up in his throat.

'KRII KRII KRI'

The orc took a large step towards K'avar. He moved out of the way and the battle axe is getting stuck in the wall. K'avar took this chance and slash the orcs arm.

"AHHH YOU BASTARD! YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!!" The orc said as he got the battle axe out of the wall. Something what stuck was in his throat

'KRII KRII KRII'

K'avar feels like he wants to throw up. He doesn't know what's coming over him, he didn't eat anything bad, and he knows he isn't nervous cause he is fighting, he has been in battle multiple times.

The orc came at him again, and he dodged again. The orc ended up hitting the chest that he planned to open up, it spewed out a book and some gold coins and jewelry.

'Well that just saves me an hour of picking locks.'

The clog in his throat is greater, and he is unable to control it.

"KRII!!"

A purple energy left K'avars mouth and hit the orc. The orc noticeably crippled in pain and let go of the battle axe he was holding. K'avar took his chance and aimed for the orcs and took off his head. The head plopped on the ground and blood was not covering the surrounding area.

'What did I just do?'

K'avar was not sensitive to blood, he was just wondering what the hell came out of him.

'I don't think I need anymore sleep. That's too dangerous.'

K'avar left at first light. He collected all of the salvageable stuff. He drank some stamina potions to keep himself awake so he wouldn't sleep, but he is now he is scared of himself, and he didn't want to sleep with his worst enemy. His plan was just to head west, he would eventually get to a road so he is able to go to Riften. He has been traveling for a few hours and he found a small dirt path. He decided to follow it because the path seemed to be recently used. He followed it up and he could see some sort of hut. There was smoke coming out so there so someone must be there. He hoped that the person is friendly. He soon heard chopping and saw an older man chopping some wood. When K'avar got closer the old man noticed his presence but didn't turn from him.

"You from the city boy? You here to tell me about the divines again?"

"Excuse me?"

"You here to tell me about your divines?"

"No, I don't believe in the divines. I just needed somewhere safe to stay, just for a few hours and then I'll get out of your way." The old man finally turned around to look at K'avar.

"Boy, you look like you've seen death itself. What have you been doing."

'Seeing death-' "It's a bit of a long story."

"Well you just said you need a few hours, so might as well come inside and tell me." The old man started walking to the cabin.

"Oh, my name is K'avar."

"My name is Froki Whetted-Blade." He said as he opened the door inside while I was close behind. Inside of the cabin there is a bed and a table and that was about it. It smelled like hide and it was quite cozy. He sat in a chair next to the table and I did the same.

"So what is a redguard like you doing in Skyrim? Didn't you know the sand is south ?" Froki asked with a joking tone. K'avar is thinking of how to put it without giving too much information.

"I came into Skyrim from Hammerfell to get some resources and information for my organization." That's wasn't a lie at all, it just lacks some very very important information.

"And I'm guessing that you are taking a detour. You know your right on the border?"

"Well I kinda had a bit of an issue...are there any big reptilian creatures that can fly in Skyrim?" K'avar asked in a voice of questioning not sounding to sound crazy. Frokis eyes widened and had an expression of shock and realization. I heard him muttering something under his breath but I was unable to hear what he said. He took a deep breath.

"That might be a dragon."

"A dragon? I thought those were just stories and legends."

"Legends have to come from somewhere." Froki said with a tone of sadness.

"There are stories that say that dragons indicate the end of time and our lives." K'avar is speechless. He is unsure what to think, but he has more questions that need to be answered.

"You seemed to know that I was talking about dragons pretty quickly. Are the dragons connected to the loud shouting that happened yesterday?"

"Yes and no, the loud shouting was calling for the Dragonborn."

"Dragonborn? What was that?"

"Many people say different things. If you were to ask an imperial then they would say the Tiber Septim was a Dragonborn. Some other day that they are people that are chosen by the gods to help Tamriel in great need. They have the body of a mortal but a soul of a dragon. They said to be able to kill a dragon and eat it's soul." Froki paused to think a loud.

"I wonder, will the Thalmor be searching for the Dragonborn. If so I will pray to Kyne to guard them on there journey." K'avar is hiding his reaction. Oh no, if the Dragonborn is in relations to Tiber Septim then of course they would want to be searching for him if he is Dragonborn. Considering that he killed a dragon and absorbed something from it then he assumes he is the Dragonborn. Froki and K'avar ended up talking for a while while eating some venison.

"I'm sorry for being rude, but who is Kyne? I've heard you say that name multiple time but I'm unsure of who that is." K'avar asked curiously.

"The sliver tongued sycophants call her Kynareth. Her image to most of the city folk have been reduced to the weak version, the Imperial version. Kyne help guilds Nords souls into sovengarde."

"When doing my research on coming here I only read how Skyrim worshipped the divines but I never heard of any other gods."

"Well then those dame imperials did there job well. And it doesn't help that the current birds are fighting for a god that isn't theirs."

They continued talking until Froki had to do some more chores, which K'avar helped with. When the sun set under the mountain they drank some mead until they were both unable to talk. Froki lent K'avar some extra furs for him to sleep on the floor. Sleep came easy to K'avar, and it's going to be the easiest sleep he is going to get for a while.

The shout that K'avar learned was the Marked for Death shout if you guys didn't know. I was planning on having K'avar doing Kynes Sacred Trials but that is for another chapter cause our boi is on a mission.
