Things have been quite busy with school and everything so I haven't had a chance to write but here I am. We have one of my favorite followers in this chapter so enjoy!

K'avars journey was pretty much uneventful and extremely boring after he left Frokis shack. He was now on the road and there wasn't ice and snow everywhere and he wasn't shaking in his boots every second. An argonian tried to rob him of his possession but the only thing he got was a sword to his throat. He was wearing leather armor with a leather hood, in his bag he was carrying a few gold coins, a amethyst ring and a few potions which K'avar took.

According to his map and the road signs, he should be really close to Riften. The trees leaves have a beautiful yellow green tint to them, something he can't see at all back in Hammerfell since there are barely any trees, and when there are they aren't such a beautiful shade. The weather is nice, the sun isn't scolding but it isn't completely cold, it felt nice on his dark skin. The air is moist and very breathable unlike the air from a few days ago. K'avar really likes the Rift hold so far, the weather is bearable and it is gorgeous.

He was on the road when we came across a large stone structure. He has been avoiding ruins as much as possible cause he shouldn't delay getting to Riften, but his adventuring heart told him to go in there. He unsheathed his scimitar and started walking toward the stone structure.

It's just going to be an in and out trip, nothing to worry about.

He approached the buildings door and he heard some ruckus. He is considering if he should go in or not, but if someone innocent is in danger then he must help. He starts running to the door and hits it open to see two women in robes fighting and yelling in another language . One of them is wearing a black one while the other one is wearing a blue one. The one in the blue slashes that other one with a dagger and shocks her with lighting. She looks shocked and out of breath. I let out a quite sigh and wide yellow eyes looked straight at me.

"By the gods! I know this looks bad. Let me explain..." she said out of breath.

"You killed that women." K'avar stated.

"I didn't want to, but she attacked to try and keep me from leaving. I just can't be a part of this place any more! The things we do here - evil, evil things. No more!"She screeched.

"Okay okay, I know you both are witches. Tell me the story from the beginning." K'avar said demanding, holding his ground. The woman gulped and took deep breaths.

"We were supposed to find a sacrifice. Human sacrifice. I told her I couldn't do it and she attacked. I've done horrible things living here, but never taken an innocent life. I couldn't just find some person for them to kill." She said, she is now more calm but still shaken up.

"What do you need a sacrifice for witch?"

"The Initiation. My mother is going to become one of those things. I can't be a part of that. Gods, I can't run away from this. I have to stop her. I'm going up there to stop her. This cycle must end. I don't know what brought you here, but I could use your help, if you're willing."

"What is she going to become?" K'avar questioned not giving her help yet.

"A Hagraven. Have you ever seen a Hagraven. They are one of the most volatile creatures. Half bird, half women. I cannot let her become one, I will not let her become one." She seem determine. K'avar observed her, she seems very young and simply born in this coven. K'avar trusted his gut to help this girl.

"Okay I will help you." He said while walking toward the girl and with his free hand he held it out for her.

"My name is K'avar."

"Illia" she said while shaking his hand. Illia led the way and K'avar led the way.

An hour into the building and they are almost done. Illia is pretty good with magic, way more then what K'avar is capable of. The tower was filled with much gems that he can save for later and a restoration spell tome. It has something to do with the undead can K'avar sees this as an opportunity to further his knowledge skills.

"Alright, my mother is through this door."

"So what's the plan?"

"How about I present you as the sacrifice and when she is preparing then...then we will kill her..." she said with hesitation.

"Are...are you sure about this? This is your mother." K'avar says with concern.

"I've thought about it, and you are far too gone if you are willing to become a Hagraven. She has been corrupted by this coven and she...she isn't the mother I used to know. I want the best for her and she will be able to be free..." Illia said with her voice shaking.

"Just...just give me a second...I need to control myself.." she said while taking a few steps from the door and walking to the room text to it. From the hour that K'avar has been with her, she is a very emotional person but also logical. It is a good change of pace from the blood thirsty warriors back in Hammerfell craving for elven blood. After what seemed like hours Illia came back to the door.

"Okay...I am ready...hide that sword under your cape and put on a stupid face, then we can go."

"Ahh my lovely daughter, you've brought back such a fine specimen, how lovely." Illia's mother said. She looks like a very elderly women from afar, but you can notice that her aging isn't natural and is cause by unnatural magic. She has a weird looking staff across her back and is wearing faded robes.

"Y-yes mother, you want me to put him on the chair?"

"Yes that will be perfect.

Illia grabbed one K'avars arm and dragged him towards the chair. K'avar complied and when he got on the chair Illia made her way behind her mother that stared heading towards K'avar. He gently and unnoticeable grabbed the handle of his scimitar to prepare to attack.

"Let's start the ritual" Illia's mother said. Once she started unsheathing a black dagger, Illia releases a huge storm of lighting towards her mother. Unluckily, she didn't go down and sent a storm of frost towards Illia that hit her pretty bad and she hit the floor pretty badly.

"What are you doing you foolish girl!! If you killed the specimen then the whole ritual would be doomed!!!" She screeched. It seems like she didn't catch on with the plan. K'avar took this as his chance to attack her and rushed her and sliced off her head. The head hit the floor, then a few seconds later the body falls onto the floor. I look in the direction that Illia was hit and she was struggling to get up. K'avar started running up to her.

"Are you...are you alright?" K'avar said with concern.

"Yes, I...I am fine. T-thank you K'avar, I really should have used a stronger spell, w-why did I hesitate?" Illia said with tears in her eyes.

"You mother was someone that you have been with your entire life. It is natural not to kill her." K'avar said reassuring. They both sat down for a bit while Illia was healing her wounds.

"I- I don't know what to do. The coven has pretty much been my whole life." She said to herself.

"If you want, you can join me. I'm traveling alone and you seem to be a nice companion. The choice is yours."K'avar said.

"It would do me some good to get out of the tower. Just let be get my stuff and then we can leave."

So I've written the first 1/3 of this chapter like almost 2 months ago but I never finished. But now is finished.
