Howdy, so I kinda know what to do with the story but not really. I have a path, not a clear path but a path for the story regardless. I keep on having multiple ideas for different Skyrim OCs but I'm going to continue with this story. Criticism is recommended and I hope you enjoy this chapter, I have made up a backstory for Illia because there isn't really any backstory.

Both K'avar and Illia realized that it would not be a good idea to travel to Riften because it was getting dark, even though it was super close neither of them want to risk it. They end up going to a room and barracking the doors so no one can come in. They also can a fire ready to cook some rabbit stew from the ingredients that were in the tower. This will be a good opportunity for them to get to know each other.

Since K'avar invited Illia to come with him he was wondering how trusting she is. K'avar has worked with random people before and it worked out well for both parties and he still is friends with them, but he momentarily forgot about the whole dragon situation when first working for with her. He knows that what what happened with the dragon and the bandit was not natural. He doesn't know how Illia will react and he doesn't know if she is going to expose him. He will have to observe her a bit more to see what actions he should take. He was in thoughts and realized that Illia was observing him. She was taken aback and had an embarrassed blush.

"Oh s-sorry, I was just wondering how old you are. Your personality seems so young and old at the same time. But you also look a bit older." Illia said embarrassed. K'avar made a hearty chuckle. This was not the first time someone questioned his age. When people back in Hammerfell found out that he was only a few years older then Kematu, they didn't believe him and thought that he was 10 or 15 years older then him.

"You will not be the first person to ask that, and you will not be the last. I born around 37 years ago."

"Hmmm...I was either guessing your age was either 30 or 45 years old." Illia said curiously. It seemed like she wanted to ask more questions but she kept them for herself.

"Since we are on the topic of age, how old are you?" K'avar asked in a light hearted matter.

"Oh, well I've lived through 20 winters and this upcoming one is going to be my 21st." Illia said less nervous. K'avar made a shocked face. Illia didn't look like she was 20 years old, to K'avar she looked 15 or 16 years old since she was skinny and just had a small stature in general.

"Hmm I wouldn't have guessed that correctly." K'avar smirked. There was a moment of silence, but not an awkward one, just silence.

"Oh the stew is ready!" Illia exclaimed and started getting the bowls for the both of them. Once they got their stew they are simply eating it with no distribution. This goes on for a bit.

"Where did you learn how to defend yourself?" Illia said breaking the silence. K'avar finishes the soup and put down the bowl.

"Well it's kinda tradition to wield a sword when you grow up in Hammerfell. You rarely see anyone without a sword. The only person I've seen without a sword was my mother, but it was cause it was difficult for her to wield one. She may have not been good with a sword, but she was good at making them. But when I was very young, my father taught me with my sister until he past away. Then I learned some more techniques from the army." K'avar smiled while his hand is hovering over his sisters Amulet of Satakal. His father died when he was young so he doesn't remember much, but he remembers clearly his technique and how he wields a sword. Illia leans on her knee, interested in K'avar's backstory.

"Oh, I'm sorry about your parents passing." Illia said sadly. K'avar waved his hand.

"Oh don't worry about it, my father past away a while ago, and my mother past 20 years ago. It doesn't hurt when thinking about about them" K'avar smiled softly. His mother always told him that when his father died, he told his mother to live the best possible life and try and not to get caught up in the past for too long or else it will destroy you. Illia started forming a a little smirk.

"When I was young, when my father was still alive, he would teach me how to scout out ahead and sneak past unsuspecting people." She sighed thinking about the past.

"He was a scout for the imperial legion. But he always wanted best for me and my mother, so when the Great War started he ran from his post because he knew that my mother would be a widow, he always said that the elves will try and make men suffer. We all ran from the Cyrodiil and started heading for Morrowind, since they both met in Blacklight and lived in Morrowind for a bit so they had a few friends back there. When they got to Skyrim my dad past away from Brain Rot. From there both me and my mom met with the rest of the coven and the rest his history." She said in a sad tone. K'avar was more intrigued with Illias backstory, she seemed to sense that from him.

"My...my mother was a worshipper of Azura and her and a few dark elves back in my village used to congregate in private away from eyes of the common citizens since almost all of them were aedra worshipers and we would be chased out of town. She also practiced magic with some of the other folks since magic is really looked down. I also suspected that she also practiced necromancy but I've never seen her do it. In public she was ran a small alchemist store and became the village healer. When my father died, we joined the coven without hesitation, which is why I think she practiced necromancy. She became the leader pretty quickly and from there we traverse Skyrim, doing not so nice stuff. In a way I feel like I've lost my mother a while ago." Said her tone saddening. There was a moment of deep pause that seem to go on for a while. K'avar feels awkward.

"I only practiced alchemy, destruction, alterations and some rituals. Never necromancy though." She interjected. She must have felt K'avars awkwardness.

"Can you teach me magic?" K'avar said suddenly ask. Illia looks surprised and taken aback. K'avar was thinking of asking her when he first initially invited her. She clearly knows magic well and can hopefully help him.

"How much do you know?" She ask

"Well I can summon Skamp and boots. I can only heal small cuts with restoration and recently I was able to cast the Candle light spell." He said proud of his achievements.

"Hmmm I'm only really good at destruction, restoration and alteration. But I do understand magical theories, and you can put understandings of one tree of magic to another. We can help each other train for other skills, you can teach me how to better defend my self with a sword while I teach you about magic." She said excitingly.

"That's a great idea!" K'avar exclaimed. Illia got up and looked around the room and found a book that has a yellow gold cover with a bird on it. It's a restoration book.

"This isn't a spell tome, this is a book called 'The Exodus', it's to help your understanding of the restoration skill." She smiled handing the book to him.

"Thanks!" K'avar grinned. He will actually have a chance to learn magic.

For the rest of the night they talked about aspects of their life and funny encounters they have had with bandits and other fools in their life. K'avar alos told Illia that he has some business in Skyrim but didn't exactly tell her the reason why. There came a point in the conversation where Illia commented on the Greybeards calling for the Dragonborn. She understood what it meant but she seemed indifferent to the situation. He is still going to know her a bit more until he makes his decision to tell her his purpose and what he potentially is.

"You got any news about the Dragons."

"They have destroyed 3 of our battalions. But 10 Imperial battalions have been destroyed and from what we've observed about 8 Stormcloak battalions have been destroyed. From all of them together only 5 have survived."

"Eventually this dragon situation will be a problem for us. Now tell me about the reports of spotting 2 potential Blade members."

"The Blade member Delphine has been spotted at the dragon attacks but retreated when she realized she has been spotted."

"And what about the other one, Esbern is his name as I remember."

"We have gotten more clues on his locations. We have information to believe that he is holed up in the sewers of Riften."

"I've heard that the steward is a good ...negotiator, she will surely give us good information for us to quietly infiltrate Riften. Send her a message so we can do business."

"Any more services I can provide for you."

"Any more information on this so called 'Dragonborn'?"

"We have caught multiple people capturing Nords claiming they are the Dragonborn. We are unable to prove if they are or aren't."

"Hmmm how protected is this 'Throat of the World'?"

"To get to the entrance you have get to Ivarstead. And from there you can get there quite easily."

"They would seem to know who is the Dragonborn is. The local Nords will no doubt hurt the Empire. But we will not go to them yet."

"Is there anything else you want me to do?"

"No that's all."

"Alright Madam Elenwen."

Holy crap I have finished a chapter in 2 days. I started on the 17th and now I am finished in the 18th. And this chapter has a little over 2k words. We've gotten some of Elenwen pov. I'll probably have the other parties at the end of future chapters like with Ulfric, Tulius and Elisif. I hoped you enjoyed this chapter!
