It was early to mid afternoon by the time I got to Whiterun, the walk down from Rivewood was fairly calm, just a few wolves, that was dispatched with relative ease, well, apart from one bite to my arse from a suprise attack, I'm so greatful for my armour, still its going to be sore to sit down for a while, damn flea bags. On a great note however I managed to open my menu! Well, I say that but most of the tabs were greyed out, so I'll have to figure out how to unlock them I suppose, still, I can now see my stats, which are set a little diffrent to the game I'm used to, and thank you sweet lord, or is it divines now? above, I have an inventory, and it's not seeemingly connected to my stamina stat. Which considering my pack rat nature is a blessing! So on my walk you can bet I took ever flower, fungus and alchemy ingredient I could get my paws on, chasing the butterflies brought out the kitten in me.

Ha, yes, when I was given the oppertunity to come here I was changed to one of the races here on Nirn, and while one of my favourite races, going from human to furry was wierd! I mean, even now, 4 days later I have no control over my damn tail, the whiskers however overly sensetive they are are a great help, and can I say the eyes? After being nearly half blind most of my past life to be able to actualy see is so wonderful and amazing, even now I find myself just looking at things, seeing the veins on a butterflys wings, the curl of fresh shoot from a fern, Hadvar's arse in that Imperial armour, leather really suits you my dear, but I digress.

After letting the gaurds (and thre was 10, not 2) at the gate know I came from Helgen and Riverwood I was allowed into the hold capital, once more I saw much more than expected from the games, though WarMaidens was right to the right hand side of the main cobbled street, annd one of the Battleborns was speaking to Adrienne, knowing the sub quest of Balgruf's sword and wanting to level up my smithing, I hung around looking at the weapons currntly on display outside, once the voices had stopped I turned to see Adrienne looking at me "So, I hear your going to be very busy? I have a proposition for you, once I get back from seeing the Jarl, how would you like some help, I may not be able to do much but grunt work, but I need coin and I am willing to work hard for it"

She rose her eyebrow, taken aback by my forwardness "Huh, the Jarl you say, I have something for him, if you give it to my father, the steward to pass along, you'll get a few coin, as for help, well if you can keep the smelter hot and filled, and if you can pick up a few things here and there you'll earn your coin" at this point she frowned "You dont talk like the rest of your kind, cat, prehaps you have a brain not full of holes from skooma" 'Well thats rude, but as hell am I going to talk like a khajit I'd never be able to stay in charcter'

"I think you'll find me a bit more than difffernt than the rest of my species" I answer with humor, with a scoff she reaches to the side and lifts a rather well worked Great sword, the pommel gleaming in the sun showed a delicately worked horse head , the leather wrapped hilt alternativly dyed yellow and black in a herringbone fashion, the sheath was simple, well oiled wood and burnt tracings of of more horse heads trailed up to the hand gaurd, a plain cross hatched bar, the blade hidden within must be of very good quality too.

After giving my word and threats of being hunted down by the whole of the guard force should I fall into my baser desire and steal the best blade this side of the Skyforge, her words not mine, and my pelt being used to make the worst iron daggers since she lifted a hammer I set off down the main road. It took around ten minutes to make to the main market place, the stall, the Bannerd Mare, Arcadia's Cauldron and Belathor's were all here, along with a few other stores and farm stalls, the smells from what looked like a bakery make my nose twitch and stomach to grumble, as I said, I dont need to eat, but who would turn down the freshest Sweetroll? Certainly not I, going into the store they smells almost overwhelmed me, but 3 septims later I was licking my paws clean of the sweet sweet mana from heaven, one more pass and lick of my whiskers and I was once again clean I headed over to the steps and began to climb.

They never truly make out how impressive the Gildergreen truly is, even as a dead husk, scorched from that lightning strike, it would take around ten of me to even ring around the trunk arms streched wide I estimate, and the hight? A good seventy to eighty meteres high, maybe higher, it's brances speading at least half that length again, a canopy of twisted knarled fingers reaching out for the sky, it was sad to see such a magnificent tree so devoid of life, only a few scatterd leaves remained. Stubbornly staying on the twigs, once around the massive girth I could see the scar from the lightning strike, a jagged scar from the top to the base, splitting deep into it's heartwood, burnt and dead I'm suprised it has'nt already fallen, it must have been spectacular in its full growth, still I have more steps to take 'My legs are going to kill me!' Looking up at the, at least! quarter mile of twisting stairs infront of me I sigh, time to get to it I suppose, 'No chance of skipping leg day here, thats for sure ' .

'That. Was. Torture.' sitting and rubbing my calves on the last step before the bridge over, well its not the dinky pond you see in the games, more like a 30 foot moat around the whole of dragonsreach, I was very tempted to soak my feet in it, I would have done, if not for seeing the Slaughterfish in there, and i can tell you, tease where much, much igger than what you estimate to be in the game, they were more lik 7 foot pike, with warhog tusks for teeth, no way am I going near that, and the few bones left on the side of the moat? Well have you ever seen a cow femur bitten in half?

Finally feeling more than pain and jelly in my legs I rise and cross the bridge, being challenged at the door i reply to the gaurds that i have a delivery and more importantly news from Helgan and Riverwood, I as escorted by the one on the left into the hall and told to wait near the fire as the guard first went to who I just knew was Proventus, even with the voice change his nasel whine and fussing nature easily let the cat out of the bag, reaching us he sniffed and looked downhis nose at me "Well what 'delivery' does some one like you bring here?" 'Wow, snobby much?' " I bring a delivery from your daughter for the Jarl" So saying I lift the Great sword from my back and go to hand it to him, releasing it just a fraction too early so he has to stumble to catch it, it's unexpected weight pulling him forward and almost dropping it. I do nothing but smile at his bluster and glare " Well if that all you can go now" shooing me, I stand my ground and as he turns to order the guard to escort me out I interupt " I was at Helgen, and Riverwood callls for the Jarl's aid, Alvor sent me" .

Proventus just scoffs, and order the gaurd to take me out of the city, it was only the call of Irrileth that stops lefty from that order. "Proventus! if that traveller has news of Helgen and is telling the truth the Jarl will want to question them himself, you overstep your bounds into millatery matters steward!" 'Ooh, Miss dark elf is pissed' .

Stepping forward I give a bow of my head, " Greetings, as I said, I was at Helgen, I escaped with another to Riverwod, Alvor sent me to ask for aid" irrileth nods in return and beckons me to stand before Jarl Balgruff himself. He was ot louging on his throne, but sat forward hand on his chin looking at me intently. "Well met, now what news do you bring traveller, is it true? Helgen, destroyed, by a dragon?"

Taking a breath to reply I glare a Proventus's scoff, " Aye, Jarl, a dragon came to the executions, the stormcloaks and Jarl Ulfric the legion captured where lined up ready for the axe, along with a few others who should not have been there, no trail, what justice is that my arse" I grumble the last part almost inaudible but Balgruff's and Irrileths raised eyebrow tell they heard that last part, coughing I continue "My self and one other got to Riverwood, Helgen was nothing but ruins and flame behind us, I don't know how many others may have also escaped. Alvor saw us and took us into his home, after recovering and telling what we knew he asked me to come here, I agreed" Irrileth interupts at this point, "why you? What of your companion?" 'Shit, need to cover for Hadvar' "He still needed more time to recover, he got a few more scrapes then me" I shrug, hoping they buy it, they seem to, asking a few more questions, the size of the dragon, did anything seem to work better on it, was it hurt at anypoint and a bit more explination on the secret tunnel from the keep to the cave I was given a bottle of mead to wet my throat as the discussion between the tree became more heated, and I heard prventus say his iconic line, and be dissmissed like a misbehaving child, taking a last mouthfull of the nord mead Jarl Balgruff turns to me once again "Thank you traveller, yoou have done me and my hold a great service" calling over a gaurd he whispers in their ear, nodding and hurrying off he starts again "Now while we wait for that young one to return with your reward, prehaps you could help me, well my court wizard, with this dragon problem"

Standing he strides off to one of the side chambers not even looking to see if I will follow, passing a table I place the empty bottle down and snag another. " Ahh, Farengar, this one has brought us news from Helgan, prehaps they can help with your dragon problem?" Farengar deins to look up from the tome he's reading and oh lord, his voice is worse than the games, and the arrogance just rolls off of him "I suppose, a theif may be good at sneaking into to Bleakfalls, the last few brutes havent returnd, still I hold no hope out, I still think Hr.." at this Balgruff snaps back "Neither Hrongar nor his daughter Lydia are availble, I have a more important need for them, I told you before, I will not risk them for something that may not even be there!"

With a sigh Farengar glances my way, already miffed for being called a theif, 'Racial sterotying much? Arsehole' "Fine, quite simply, in Bleakfalls barrow, in the main chamber is the dragonstone, I need it.." I smile showing off my fangs " Oh, You mean this?" pulling out the stone from my pack Farengar stutters and flusters "H..How did you get that?!" "I had an item to retive for the store keeper in Riverwood from some bandits, I hate theives, and going back the way I came in was blocked so I continued on, I picked up a fair few interesting things, this being one of them" I state, glaring at Farengar for the theif comment and remembering that in the first draugr chamber I accidently collaped the roof beams in the tunnel, in my fear and panic of being chased by a dozen of the bastards, flames is cool and all but in old and unstable buildings, it pays to pay attention.

Huffing he snatches the talet and places it on the table, it's at this point the young guard returns holding a Dwarven waraxe, taking it from him Balgruff hand it over to me " As thanks, take this axe from my personal armoury, may it serve you well" turning to Faarengar he goes to speak but is interuppted bt Irrileth " My Jarl! Come, a recruit has returnd with news of a dragon!"

At this he turns to me "Come, freind, you will listen too" once more making off without bothering to see if we follow.

Well that was interesting, getting shanhighed into going to the Western Watch tower with Irrileth and her detchment, meeting at the gate waiting for the last fe soldiers we see running towards us I note only two archers, myslef included "Irrileth! We need more archers, if we damage its wings it should be at leats somewhat easier to kill" looking over at my stament her eyes rove over the gathering and noting the lack of bows she directs two to Warmaidents to aquisition half a dozen bows and as many arrows as they can and anther to the Drunken Huntsman.

I'm suprised to see 4 woodelves and another dark elf join up with us from the the outfitters, all in leather armour and with good quality looking bows, as the other two arrive leaden down bows and arrows are hared out between the group, now out of around 40, 18 of us are now equipped, ignoring Irrileth's speech I focus on the fight to come.

It's as we are jogging to the smouldering half destroyed tower I get a message pop up in forny of me.

Well now that's all done with, I place my points in what I thought would be best, and those potions would come in handy! Jogging the last 100 feet or so Irrileth orders us to spread out and look for surviors, once again there is more then the 2 well crisped bodies then in the game, I counted 7 and could see 4 more in varying states of injury at the door, it was as one of the least inujred watch tower guards was telling Irrileth that the dragon was just playing with them that we hear the screach of something that must be massive, the guard then starts screaming, crying and running in fear down the road, a bad smell lingering from his abrupt departure.

We can do nothing but watch as who I assume is Mirmulnir, picks up and tosses the man over a 100 feet before flaming his flailing body, its the smell of that when the gut empty terror hits for a few seconds before gamers mind calms me down. 'Oh, fuck'.

Thats when it realy hits. It's not just a game, this is now my life and if I could unclench I would be shitting myself too, right about now.

AN. So is this Ok?

Please dont ask for a stat sheet every chapter, that was horrendous!

I'll post stat updates every few chapter or so, but I hate reading long ass ones and writing that one was a chore and half, also, no, Mr/Miss Khajit does not have a name yet, I'm still thinking, lol.

Well the shit is about to hit the fan, I'll be honest, I don't think i can write a good action scene, I'll try my best though.

Please let me know if you find any mistakes and review, or don't, I'm not too fussed.
