The arm master watched the walls of the Institute. This was what he was in wait for. Returning back to the place where it all started was one of the things he needed. But after a talk with Irelia, he had decided that it would be better to keep their pace, and just go by. Asking Brand the question they would have to was not going to be short, so they have increased their speed, in order to be on their way to Demacia before night fell over the earth.

He leaped to the broken wall and extended a hand for Irelia, who took it and leaped down. Jax followed her, jumping back into the timeless void. They passed the statues, which were able to capture Irelia's attention, but she was quick with disabling her interest towards them. After all, the grandmaster had told her.

When they reached the hut, Brand was already waiting for them, a smile on his face. He was standing in front of a table with three chairs.

"Jax, how are you! I didn't expect to see you again! And I see you brought friends. How are you Irelia, nice to see you after two weeks!" He greeted them, shaking hands with the couple and inviting them to sit on the table. Jax sat on the left side, Irelia was situated next to him. Brand sat in front of them, smiling as he was smiling the day he discovered Jax.

"Why did you come back here? Did something happen? Did you defeat the Noxians all by yourself? I wonder how did they react when they saw one man alone against their armies, and how you ravaged-"

"Sadly, that is not the reason why we have come. Brand, the Noxians are now the rulers of Valoran. I don't know if any land is still holding, but against their power we are nothing. Just flies. They captured me the second i left your home, and was a gladiator for a few weeks after that. I had to kill Yi in order to survive, but then the masters of Wuju forced me to go to Ionia and place his body in the temple of his art. Then, just when I thought it was almost over, Noxus and its allies attacked Ionia. Only me, Irelia and Lee got away. But on our way here Lee had to stop the Kinkou from killing us, and he sacrificed himself for our well-being. And so we came here, with a few questions and on our way to Demacia. Will you answer my questions?" Jax interrupted him. Brand's smile was replaced by a serious expression.

"Fine. I knew that one day someone was going to ask me. To come and ask what happened that day exactly. I know you are going to ask me what happened with the summoners." Brand said. Jax nodded. He wasn't surprised.

"The summoners... It was worse than the case with the champions. We sealed the gates and woke them up. The plan was simple. Scare them off to the main chamber, close the doors and kill them all. Of course, we were five. Me, Fiddle, Nocturne, Cho'Gath and Renekton. When they woke up, the Noxians attacked. This was a bit off plan, because some of the senior summoners started teleporting away. Well, at least attempted to do so. We dispatched them first, then Fiddle was supposed to fear the rest off. That is when another part of the plan went wrong. Some decided to fight, and so Renekton and Cho'Gath were out of the way. They stayed to fight the rebellious, while the three of us led the horrified ones in the chamber. Just when we were about to start, the titans came in and started cleaving with us. When all the summoners were dead, the five of us had a share of laughs. We thought that it was now over." He paused.

"But it wasn't, right?" Irelia broke the silence. Brand laughed for a little.

"Damn, if it was over I was not going to be here. But then he came. That summoner. He was not the great one, because the latest was out fighting the Noxians. That one was the least concern for us until that moment. He appeared out of nowhere and beheaded Renekton in a swift swing with his sword. The four of us started throwing spells against him, but his magic was much stronger than ours. Nocturne decided to go in and attack him. At first it looked like the summoner was going to break, but then all of a sudden the eternal nightmare fell to the ground, screaming in horror. I was scared there. But, Cho'gath wasn't. His teeth dug deep into the summoner's flesh, tearing a lot from his left hand. Which disabled his spells, allowing me and Fiddle to start hitting him. What he did then was amazingly... Clever, to say the least. He spun in a way which made us throw spells at Cho'Gath's back, weakening the beast. A swift thrust of his sword and the summoner killed the terror of the void. " Brand paused again. It was a bit annoying.

"Wait, Renekton is a demi-god, isn't he? Then how could he die? Weren't gods and demi - gods immortal?" Jax asked. Brand nodded.

"Yes, you have a bit of sense in your words. Yet Renekton was not a demi-god in full strength. His madness had consumed a lot of his power. He had been mortal that whole time. So, when Cho'Gath fell to the cold marble of the Institute, the summoner looked at us. His long black hair covered a bit of his face, but I saw those eyes. Do you remember any summoners with unique eyes? Both of you?" He asked. Irelia nodded. Jax thought a little, because a lot of summoners had summoned him, but most of them had normal eyes. Most of them. He nodded.

"That summoner, The last summoner, was Gordoth. Seeing it with my own eyes made me think that it was possible in fact, because he had made a feature in battles. The duels between summoners, because he was called weak by others. After the dueling feature was introduced, he challenged half of the Institute and defeated them with ease. It is true, that if someone was destined to be the last summoner, it is Gordoth. He was known for sparring with the duelist and Tryndamere. Sometimes he even achieved victory in those sparring matches he led with those two champions. If there is any hope for the defeat of Noxus, Gordoth will have his role in this. I know it." Brand finished. Irelia looked surprised, but Jax only narrowed his eyes. It seemed that there was still a summoner.

"I need to ask you one more thing, Brand." He told the coal man. The burning vengeance nodded, his eyes narrowed as much as Jax'.

"Where did Draven go?" He asked. Brand sighed.

"Draven has removed himself and those who went with him from the map. He is invisible. A phantom. His refugee camp is a legend amongst those who survived, and who did not go with the Noxians. It is said that he left the world long ago, only to create a safe heaven for those who wanted it. Across the misty mountains, through deep dungeons and burning desserts. He led the survivors to a safe heaven in the Kumingu jungle, but no one knows. I do not. But if you want to find them, you will have to face the plague jungles. This is a thing no one wants to do, because the dead have been recently rising from their graves. It is in fact a dangerous task." The burning vengeance explained. A really different expression was plastered on his face, one of worry and thought.

"But you will leave now... Go there, or continue your road to Demacia. Sadly, you are not welcome here anymore... Not anymore..." Jax and Irelia stood up and started walking.

Brand had sent them off, away from all that connected them to the past.

A/N: And after a long pause... I returned. So, tell me what you think, and was it fair to finnaly introduce my OC to that story :3
