POV-Anakin Skywalker

I'm waiting for Ahsoka to come out of the cave system. It had been an hour since she went in and the door was beginning to freeze over, but with the rapid temperature drops around this particular part of Illum, it was almost impossible to judge how much time she'd have before the threshold shut for another Illum rotation several days if we were on Coruscant.

I wonder what could be taking her so long? She's done this twice before and I've done it multiple times due to my 'luck' when I was Obi wan's padawan. I'm sure she was looking for two crystals but I just wonder what color they will be. If they're both azure, it'd please me to no end.

Chills went down my spine as I sensed an overwhelming amount of Force energy emanating from inside the crystal caves. I immediately grabbed for my lightsaber and ignited it as I slowly approached the entrance, bringing my comm to my lips. It beeped once in a very negative tone, cursing under my breath, "sithspit! No signal!"

Without a moment to lose, all I could think about was the safety of Ahsoka as I ran inside, frantic in search to find her as soon as possible.

POV-Ahsoka Tano

My breath was visible as it turned to vapor in front of my eyes. I had been hugging myself as I opened my senses in search of my second crystal. I'd already found my first one, an azure stone, the color of Anakin's eyes. I sighed. I wish he was here. I was cold and my boots did not insulate my feet well enough and I need Anakin here to keep me warm like he had done when he prepared me for my knighting. He'd hugged and reassured me as I took one final look in the mirror, holding me close to his warm strong body. I really wished he was here right now, or better yet I was with him under the waterfalls on Naboo.

All of a sudden a stark light blinded me as I barely made out a door appearing to me on the side of the rock like a shadow. The light faded away replaced by a doorway in front of me. It somehow opened to my presence. I was hesitant to move but I just allowed my mind and body to connect to the Force and allow it to give me the answer. Ever since the councils' betrayal apart from Anakin and Obi wan I've trusted in the force to guide me rather than being blinded by darkness. I still hadn't decided if Yoda has betrayed me.

I reached into the force letting its' will guide me down the right path and almost instantly I knew that my destined crystal was through that doorway.

Once I had found my answer I fixed my eyes on the entrance to wherever it may lead, for what was on the other side could not be seen by me; not yet anyways.

Walking through the shadow-like mist over the threshold, my body instantly seized as a massive wave of Force energy entered my body. I couldn't breathe momentarily as the Force washed into me like it had done on Mortis. It was unlike anything I had ever felt. I was in a small room that had a light shone directly at a crystal suspended in mid-air. The crystal was unlike anything I had ever sensed. It was like the pure energy of the living force that had been delivered to me by the force itself. It felt like the very essence of the raw power of the force, being projected out by a single crystal. It called to me, emitting low, soft, harmonic tones.

I crept forward, through the darkness of the room and clasped my hand around it. I looked at it in the light and it was unlike any other crystal I had ever seen. It was clear, almost like a diamond but all the lightsaber colors swirled around inside of it in a circle like the atoms of gas entrapped in a container. It was so beautiful and magical. Azure, amethyst, ruby, emerald, topaz, opal and all these different shards of crystals were encased in a single crystal. It hummed quietly as I placed it in my pouch with my azure one and shut it quietly, quickly making my way out of the room.

I stepped through the shadow-like mist and found myself nowhere near where I had come in. I shook my head and began to slowly walked forward in what I hoped was the right direction back to the entrance. I kept my gaze to the ground and head bowed and arms crossed as I followed my instincts in hope of getting me out of this maze.

I quickly came to a stop as I sensed a familiar presence nearby. Anakin had come into the cave, trouble is why? With my head still bowed I quickened my pace and began walking in the direction I sensed Anakin, running into something but quickly brushed it off not even bothering to check what it was. I needed to find Anakin, now.

Out of nowhere I was embraced from behind and quickly spun around. My first instinct was to kick whoever it was but the force and the force signature of the person instantly told me to relax as I was spun around. I laughed as I looked over my shoulder to see Anakin smile. Something I hadn't seen since my knighting.

"Okay, okay, put me down, Anakin!" I giggled, thrashing my arms around to try and grab his waist or something so he'd put me down.

When my feet were back on solid ground he quickly embraced me once before saying, "Come on, let's get out of here"

We ran the short distance around the corner to the entrance, ducking under the ice that had formed.

Anakin swung his arm around me as we walked back to the ship, protecting me from the harsh blizzard of snow. Once inside the ship we set a course back to Coruscant and left R2 to pilot us home.

"What crystals did you get?" He asked as he took his coat off.

"I got an azure on-"

"Yes!" he shouted interrupting me as I gave him a glare, "continue."

"And this one," I said pulling it out of my pouch and handing it to him. His reaction was something that I couldn't explain as he frowned over it.

"Ahsoka, this is a very powerful crystal and potentially dangerous, its pure force energy, its…its, impossible?" Anakin explained. "Where did you find it?"

"In a small room that the force showed me…"

Fear built itself up inside of me as his face deadpanned, eyes wide and mouth a gap.

What did I do? The force showed me it so it has to be good, right? What type of crystal is this?!
