POV: Anakin Skywalker

My boots scuffed against the pavement as I dragged my feet through the rain covered streets of upper city Coruscant. I wasn't too sure where I was going but I just needed to get out of the temple and clear my head.

Rain pitter-patterd against the hood of my cloak as I pulled it tighter around me as I walked through the rain. Drops of water still managing to find their way into my fringe as water dripped from my air and hitting my nose. I sniffed back tears. I just felt so miserable and cold. I didn't know what to do with myself.

It has been a couple of hours since I left Ahsoka sleeping in the healing ward. I just hope that some of them can repair the mental damage that has been done, and reconnect the shattered tendrils of what makes Ahsoka, Ahsoka. Hopefully it will be enough for her to come back to our dorm and be strong enough to be able to push through and become the Jedi she usually is once again.

I've always relished in the rain and nurture every second of it but today it just feels like its mimicking my own emotions, thunder clapping every time my heart strings tugged for Ahsoka to be better. It been so unpredictable today but the weather seems to be getting better as the day goes by. It was terrible the night Ahsoka had to be first sedated.

The thunder clapped again as I forced the thought out of my head. I must stay strong for her, she will sense something's wrong if I don't stay strong for her.

My commlink bleeped at me and sure enough it was Obi wan.

"Anakin where are you? Master Yoda and I think we may have a new lead on the crystal Ahsoka acquired".

"Thanks Obi wan, I'm in upper city Coruscant, can you send a speeder to pick me up please?"

"What in the blazes are you doing down there in this weather? I thought you'd be with Ahsoka. Send me your coordinates and I will come and pick you up"

"Skywalker out".

I cut the link and leant against the railing, looking down into the depth of the metal city.

'Must've been quite a fall when 'Soka jumped'

Another clap of thunder.

I sighed, throwing my head backward and letting my mouth loll open as rain drops burst against the skin of my face and neck, my hood falling off my head.

I stood there in the rain leaning against a lamppost letting my hair get matted down from the rain. I didn't mind anymore, it was cool and soothing to my burning hot skin, it ached to be free of the cloak but alas, my identity at the moment may best be kept secret considering how unfit for duty I look right now. Dark rings around my eyes, my face un-groomed and bloodshot eyes. Certainly not the Jedi material as suggested in local Coruscanti media.

I looked at my reflection in a puddle in utter disgust as I swept my foot through it splashing water everywhere and surely enough the shadow of a speeder was cast upon me as I heard Obi wan call for me to jump in.

I climbed into the speeder and as soon as I was in we took off in the direction of the sacred Jedi Temple.

Yoda greeted us on the port landing platform and we soon waddled on inside to Obi wans' quarters once again, trying to remain as undetected and anonymous as possible as we slipped past Jedi Masters.

I glanced around intently waiting for Obi wan to palm the panel to enter as I shifted from foot-to-foot impatiently.

The beautiful singing of the crystal filled my ears the second the door cracked open. I swayed slightly as its powerful aura hit me like a wave crashing against the shore. I continued on inside and soon enough the three of us were sat around in a triangle with the crystal somehow hovering in mid-air in the centre.

"I'm not too sure when it started but it has been hovering like that ever since Ahsoka was admitted into the healing ward. I apologise for not saying anything sooner in fear it might have made things worse," Obi wan explained as I intently studied the crystal, its song still resonating around the room.

"Sense its power, I do. Fear it, I do not. Good can come of it, sure am I," Yoda's words of wisdom made sense to it the whole idea of it being pure force energy but why is it that I can only hear its song?

"Can either of you two hear it humming as if trying to communicate to us?" I asked.

"Hear it, I cannot, Obi wan?"

"Nor I, but I think you may be onto something. I think it's trying to communicate a message to us and if it is, I think Ahsoka is the only one who can unlock its voice".

I closed my eyes resting my chin on my hand rested upon my knee, "I think you may be right, let's go".

"Wait," I paused in my step turning to Yoda, "connected you are, to Ahsoka. Touch it you will, communicate to you, it might".

I raised my left eyebrow to the both of them, shaking my head and breathing outwards. Looking between the two of them I grasped it in my hand and the humming stopped.

I closed my eyes and held the crystal on my left palm facing upwards towards the roof and focussed upon its' energy trying to find the source of its voice.

'Ahsoka…take me to her, now'

I opened my eyes wide staring at the crystal in my hand. It sounded exactly like Ahsoka but yet it is not.

"It spoke to me," I said blankly not looking at either of them, eyes still wide.

"Sound like Padawan Tano, did it?" Yoda asked

"Yes it did, it said to take the crystal to her".

"Then true the prophecy is," Yoda finished nodding to Obi wan and walking out the door.

Obi wan just looked at me and gestured towards the door as I encased the crystal in my belt pouch and proceeded to walk over the threshold, the humming returning to my ears.

I wonder what Yoda meant by the prophecy. He's always so evasive in the way he says things. Always speaking in riddles and never making any sense. I wish he'd just tell me the prophecy we're supposed to fulfil already.

'Hurry, she needs you'

I paused in my step before breaking into a full sprint, going past a confused Obi wan and Yoda followed by feet joining instep next to my own. Obi wan looked at me sideways but I just ignored him running faster.

Please be okay, you mean everything to me Ahsoka.

My heart fell heavy and my stomach twisted in a million directions, lightning, thunder, and heavy rain beginning its torrent outside the security of the windows.

'Anakin, where are you, I need you, come back to me please' ~Ahsoka.
