Andrey again materialized on the grounds of The Woods of Turan Choks, this time on a small hill. Checking his radar, he saw that the closest Pachycephalosaurus was still quite far from him, so he started the long trek towards his quarry.

After a few minutes traversing rolling hills and small ponds, he spotted the creature resting in a pool of mud, cooling off. Ducking behind a boulder, he readied his Shotgun and clicked the Dinosaur Call button. A low, resonating rumble came out, which caused the dinosaur to turn its head in Andrey's direction. Another click of the call button and it slowly surfaced from the muddy pool, approaching Andrey's hiding spot with plodding steps.

Once it got close enough, Andrey quickly pointed his Shotgun at the creature's lower jaw and fired. It gave a gurgling groan as it buckled to the ground, dead.

Andrey wiped the sweat off his forehead. The "Trophy coordinates received" message played once again, same as it had with the Parasaurolophus.

Just as Andrey was about to head for another Pachycephalosaurus, he heard footsteps rapidly approaching. He quickly turned around and saw a green dinosaur lunge at him, causing him to fall on his back. The creature stepped on his leg, and Andrey could see its bright orange throat, its clawed fingers curling and its cold, yellow eyes staring him down.

Terrified, Andrey pushed the creature hard, causing it to fall on its side. He ran as fast as he could, and while running he frantically checked his radar, only to see the dinosaur didn't show up. To his horror, he realized the radar only showed dinosaurs he'd selected on the terminal, and any other animals wouldn't appear.

As he ran, he could hear the panting of the dinosaur behind him. Andrey turned around and tried shooting the creature several times with his Shotgun, only for it to swerve out of the way with little injury.

The dinosaur then bit down on his arm; it felt like it was being pricked by several needles. Andrey tried not to scream and attract more attention. Noticing the dinosaur's orange throat and thinking quickly, he kicked the creature in the stomach, causing its grip to loosen, and then shot it in the throat.

As the creature gave a final screech and fell dead on its side, Andrey asked for permission to leave. Again, he was warped to the DHC Hunt Selector room. He looked at the circular bite mark on his arm. "I'll definitely need to see a medic," he muttered to himself. He quickly walked through the waiting room, where other people noticed him holding his scarred arm, and exited the building, intent on finding the nearest available hospital.

Today Andrey learned about random-spawning dinosaurs the hard way. Next up, Andrey hunts bigger game on the shores of Basmachee Rocks.
