A few weeks passed by and Suzaku was finally able to relax after his breakdown. He spent most of his time by the water with Anaya who continue to take pictures.

"I'm finally glad to see that your slowly starting to enjoy yourself." Anaya said and took another picture of him.

"Well I kinda had too." He said and sat up. "Gino forced me."

"His intentions are in the right place." She said and put down her camera. "You are our brother of the round."

He nodded slowly and looked at the water. The sun was slowly starting to set, the rays reflecting off of the water. He knew that they were doing the right thing for him but deep down he wished that he could finally leave. He needed to be by Lelouch is side.

He sighted more and put his arm over his eyes.

"Okay kids!" Cheered Gino's as he started to run up to them. "We're going into town!"

"For what?" Asked Anaya and looked up at him.

"We need a couple drinks to lighten up our moods! You two are too gloomy, I need to see some smiles!" He said and sat down next to them.

"I don't wanna go." Said Suzaku who kept his arm over his eyes. "You two go, enjoy yourselves."

"Nope! Your not getting out of this! This is going to benefit you more than any of us. So I don't want to hear any arguments from you. Get ready, look good and will head out in twenty-minutes." He said and with that got back up and headed back inside.

"There's no arguing with him. Once his mind is set there's no changing it." She said and got up also.

"Your right." He sighted. Knowing that there was no way for him to get out of it he willingly followed behind her.

When Suzaku was finished showering he came out with a towel around his waist and saw that Gino's was fixing up his hair.

"You couldn't wait your turn?" He asked and rubbed his eyes.

"Your body shy already?" Gino's snickered and chuckled a bit. "There's nothing that I haven't see before."

"I know." He said and walked to the his room.

"He hasn't woken up yet. You know that right?" Gino's said and put down his brush.

He stopped dead in his tracks. "Is there any good news? There has to be some."

Gino's shook his head. "I'm sorry Suzaku. It's not looking so good."

"Right.." He murmured and continued to walk. Once out of his sight, he rubbed his face and sighted deeply. He wouldn't accept that. He just couldn't. His love will pull through it. And when he did, Suzaku would never let anything like this happen again. He would die first before it does.

Once in town Suzaku didn't hesitate to start drinking.

One after another he drank. Right now he needed to get his mind clear.

"You should slow down." Said Anaya and took a sip of her glass.

He chugged his drink and put down his cup.

"For what?" Asked Gino's as he came back with more drinks. "I haven't seen him loosen up the time we've been here. Tonight we are going to have a great time!" He declared and put down the shots.

"I'll drink to that." Said Suzaku and picked up another glass.

They cheered and started to take the shots Geno's brought.

More into the night they attracted a small crowd who joined them in their drinking game. The drinks were never ending to the point where Suzaku was close to blacking out.

He started stumbling a bit to where Anaya had to hold him up.

"Okay Gino's. You had your fun. It's time to call it a night." She said.

"Why? I can still drink some more." Suzaku slurred and rubbed his eyes.

"You heard him An." Gino's chuckled some and took another drink. "He can still take it!"

"You both are idiots." She said and started to walk to the door with Suzaku leaning on her.

"Party pooper." Gino's pouted and followed them.

"You both need to sober up. We leave tomorrow." She said and glared at him.

"L..leave tomorrow?" Suzaku groaned and rubbed his eyes. "What are you talking about?"

"You didn't tell him did you?" She asked and stopped.

"Tell me what?" He asked again, anger in his voice.

"If I told him, he wouldn't have came with us." Gino said and breathed. "We got called back..."

"And you kept this from me?!" He yelled and straighten up.

"I just wanted you to have a good time. Before you went back to torturing yourself. Was that such a bad thing of me?" He said and shook his head. "I was only thinking of you."

"No one told you that you had to think of me!" He shouted and put his hands over his mouth. "I'm gonna be sick!" He groaned and hunched over the sidewalk and started to puke.

All the drinks were finally catching up to him. He felt hands on his back as he kept throwing up.

"Don't touch me." He groaned and kept puking.

"Shut up and finish already." Gino's said gently hit his back. "It's a long way back to Britannia and we can have you looking like this."

"It's your fault that I'm feeling this way." He groaned and wiped his mouth.

"Whatever helps you cope faster." He said and rubbed the back of his head.

Back in Britannia

Euphemia stood in the mirror and brushed her hair, humming softly to herself. Today was the day that Suzaku finally comes back from his trip. She's been eagerly waiting his return and couldn't contain her joy. She counted down the days impatiently.

"My lady." Said one of her maids, bringing her back from daydreaming. She blinked a bit and looked at her. "He's here princess."

She smiled and brushed back her hair. "I think I'm ready."

"But my lady.. do you not want me to put up your hair like you normally like?" She asked and looked at her.

She shook her head. "I think I want to have it down for a change.." She declared and put on her shoes.

"As you wish my lady." The maid replied and bowed her hair.

"I need to hurry." She said and rushed passed her maid. She picked up her dress a bit and ran down the hallway to the stairwell. She soon started to hear voices close by.

"You can't go to his bedchamber right now!" Echoed Genos voice.

"Why not? I need to resume my duty!" Argued Suzaku.

Euphy panted some and slowed down a bit. "SUZAKU!" She called.

All three of them turned around to see Euphemia running towards Suzaku and tackling him into a hug.

He yelped and held onto her. "P..Princess. You shouldn't be running like that." He said and gently rubbed her back. "You'll slip like that."

"I know you'll be there to catch me if I do." She smiled and held on tighter.

"Well." Gino's smiled. "My lady will leave him in your hands." He said and wrapped an arm around Anya's shoulders. "Let's go unpack An." He said and lead her the other way.

"Wait! I'm not done with you!" He said and scowled a bit.

"It's rude to ignore a lady Suzaku." Gino's waved his hand. "Thank me later."

"Psh." He snorted and sighted a bit. "I can't breath princess."

"Sorry. I got a bit too excited." She said and pulled back a bit. "But please." She smiled. "Call me Euphy. Were passed the formalities by now."

"N..no! Of course prin.." He said and stopped himself. "Euphy." He smiled.

"Come." She said and took his hand. "Have dinner with me and talk to me on how your trip went."

"Um okay." He said and let her pull him. Suzaku was a little conflicted on going with Euphy...but he could use something to drink before he went upstairs and braved seeing his love comatose in his bed.

"Yay! Dinner is almost ready." Euphony said and let go of his hand.

"What are we having?" He asked as he pulled out her chair for her.

"Just something small." She said and looked at him. "I know you have to be weary from your travel."

"Im alright." He said and smiled, sitting down next to her. "We haven't had much of a chance to spend sometime together since I left and...what happened to the Emperor."

"It's okay. I'm happy that you're spending time with me now." She smiled as the maids started to pour them some wine.

Soon they brought out their plates and set them down in front of them. "Dinner is served." One maid said.

"Thank you." He thanked her and took a sip of wine.

"Dinner looks good." She said and started to eat a bit.

He nodded and started to eat as well. In the beginning they ate in silence. Soon Euphy cleaned her mouth a bit.

"How was your trip?"

He shrugged a bit. "It was alright. We stayed at Lord Schneizel's private estate on some island. I didn't go anywhere much, I just stayed by the lake." He said and took another drink.

"How was the lake? Was it beautiful?" She asked and scooted a bit closer to him.

He nodded. "There was an amazing view in the morning and another at sunset. Probably the only thing memorable."

She nodded and smiled.

Thirty-minutes into their dinner they opened two more bottles of wine. He let down his worry and started to get comfortable around her. He didn't think that he would be sitting next Euphemia like this. It felt kind of nice to talk to someone else other than Geno's.

"You know Suzaku I really missed you." She said and rubbed her eyes a bit. "I really haven't gotten to talk to you since we last danced at you're knighting ceremony." She said and gently swirled her finger around the rim.

He nodded. "I know. I was really busy taking care of your brother...but since I failed..." He murmured and took another drink, finishing off the glass.

"It's not your fault Suzaku. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. You were doing an amazing job...you still are." She said and gently put her hand on his.

He blinked a bit and felt his heartbeat faster in his chest. This felt so wrong. He was still in love with Lelouch...but when he looked in her eyes, all he could see was him. He didn't noticed that he got closer to her and felt her lips on his.

She placed her hand on his shoulder and kissed him deeper.

He pulled back a bit and blinked some. "I am so sorry Euphy...I didn't mean to do that."

She smiled. "I'm happy you did." She said and kissed him again.

He couldn't stop himself and continue to kiss her back. She got off her chair and sat down on his lap.

"We shouldn't.." He murmured against her lips and kept kissing her.

"Why not?" She asked and slowly lifted up her dress, passed her thighs.

"Your a princess... and I'm just an Eleven." He said and gently rubbed her thighs with his hands.

"Your special to me Suzaku." She smiled. "I want you too."

He breathed deeply and looked her in the eyes. He knew deep in his heart that he shouldn't be crossing this line...But it's been so long. He gripped her waist and stood up. She yelped and wrapped her legs around his waist.

"Alright." He smiled and started to walk towards her room.

The first rays of morning creeped threw the curtains and landing on his face. He groaned a bit and rubbed his eyes. He felt his head throb a bit and sat up in the bed. What happened? He thought to himself and stretched a bit. He soon noticed that his room looked too pink and girly the last time he remember. He rubbed his eyes more and got up and walked towards the bathroom. He walked up to sink and started to wash his face. He reached over for a towel and cleaned his face. He looked at the mirror to see his bloodshot eyes. He sighted a bit. He must of had too much to drink last night.

He turned around and walked out of the bathroom and stopped dead in his tracks. He saw a sleeping Euphemia in bed, but when he stepped closer he saw that she was naked under the blankets. He felt his heart sink lower. What did he do...?! Why did he do it?! There was so many thoughts going through his mind right now but there was one thing he knew. He had to hurry up and get out of here. He quickly picked up his clothes and put on his boxers. There was still time for him to get to his room before anyone woke up for the day.

"I'm sorry Euphy." He whispered and left her room quickly.

Well I hope all of you like this chapter. I'm sorry if it feels like it drags too much to the point. Or there's not enough detail. I'm really sorry about that. But anyways I hope to hear what you think. I'll update soon!
