Previously on the Hazbin House, Charlie, Vaggie and Angel Dust gave a briefing to the others regarding the nature of the monster's arrival and the appearance of the two males and traveled to the penthouse where they rested. The boy was healing well, despite the permenance of the scars across his body while the man, calling himself Satanael Primere is awake, the flesh now covering his body appearing like a dark reflection of the boy's future. He tells them all a story of a child named Lincoln Loud, whose simple desire for time to himself led to betryal of his entire house, and the corrupted memories born from said psyche. In order for Lincoln's soul to be fully healed from his wounds, he needs a pure sample of demon blood. And while an unknown inidividual came and decided to tour around the Loud House, spreading corruption wherever he goes, someone in the Hazbin Hotel gives exatcly what he needed.
Chapter 3: Awakenings
1216 Franklin Ave. Royal Woods, MI, USA, North America, North Hemisphere, Earth
Saturday March 14, 201X
The sun has risen once again on the town of Royal Woods, and with it, the alarms on their clocks awakene them from their sweet dreams, "HEY! WAKE THE FUCK UP!" Everyone is suddenly awoken screaming as they hit snooze on the devices, only to scream louder to see the state of their rooms.
Even with all the damage and corruption occured across the room, they all manage to find some clothes to wear for the day. Lynn has thick brown hair pulled back into a short high ponytail that is smaller than Luan's. She switches from her usual night attire consisting of a white and red sports shirt with a 5 on it and red shortswears a red and white jersey with a red "1" on it, red-and-white track shorts, and black cleats with striped white knee-high socks. She is slightly taller than Lincoln and has freckles on her cheeks. Despite her age, her short appearance makes it seem like she's a preteen, not a teenager. Like most of her siblings, she has purple-gray eyelids.
Lori is the tallest among all her siblings. She has large blonde hair (a genetic trait she shares with her mother, even though the latter's hair is longer). Her nightwear consists of a sky blue nightshirt and blue slippers, but later switched to an attire that contains a white tank top, and small blue and white shorts, with a checkered patterna light blue tank top, brown cargo shorts, blue-gray slip-on shoes, and light blue eyeshadow. She also wears white pearl earrings.
Leni has long, pale-blonde hair, with side-swept bangs, and three pairs of eyelashes. She is almost as tall as Lori, but taller than all her younger siblings. Her night attire consists of a seafoam green nightgown, that looks very similar to her regular outfit but sleeveless. She also sleeps with a magenta sleeping mask, but later on, it changes to a blue mask, with an image of closed eyes over it. She retains her magenta mask, and like the blue one, it has the closed eyes image, but her main outfit is a seafoam green dress, with white frills, and triangular sleeves. With this, she wears red hoop earrings, white slide slip-on sandals, topped with light green bows, and a pair of rounded white sunglasses with black lenses on top of her head.
Luna is slightly taller than Luan, but shorter than Leni. She has short brown hair styled into a pixie cut, freckles on her cheeks, and wears light purple eyeshadow. Her nightwear consists of a purple t-shirt with a skull on it, and matching slippers before switching to a purple t-shirt with a white skull, torn crew neck, and triangular sleeves, a plaid skirt similar to Luan's (only lavender), a white belt, and high purple boots. A distinguishing feature of hers is her paperclip earrings. She also wears three black bracelets on each of her wrists and a choker around her neck.
Luan has prominent buck teeth, which sport silver braces on her upper and lower teeth, and light brown hair worn up in a large/high ponytail with a small swirl at the end by a yellow scrunchie (presumably the hairtie), with two long protruding hairs sticking out from the center of her forehead.
Her nightwear is just a yellow nightgown or a yellow and white nightshirt with matching pants and white bunny slippers, but later dresses in a white sleeveless shirt, a yellow skirt with a checkerboard pattern, yellow socks with a line pattern that are worn all the way up, and brown shoes. She also wears three pink flowers, one on her shirt, and one on each shoe, that serve as gag squirt-flowers.
Lucy has very pale skin and long black hair, with bangs long enough to cover her eyes. She is very thin, and a bit smaller than Lincoln. Lucy dressed in a white t-shirt and black-and-white striped pajama pants in black and white then wears long striped arm sleeves and stockings and a black dress worn over a striped shirt, and black shoes.
Lana is nearly identical in her physical appearance to Lola. She has blonde hair, with two downward pigtails tied down with red scrunchies, and is missing her front teeth, like her twin does. She wears a red baseball cap backwards with a small square hole and a murky green nightshirt before changing to white sneakers with blue stripes, and a murky green t-shirt under dark blue overalls
Lola has long blonde hair that she wears down, and a tuft of hair on top of her head pointed to the right. She is missing her front teeth, like her twin, Lana. Her nightwear is a pink nightgown, that looks similar to her normal attire, except it doesn't have a sash, or a white pearl necklace attached to her pink gown. She doesn't wear pink gloves, either. It sometimes has short, poofy sleeves on it. She later puts on a princess attire; a long pink gown and sash, a white pearl necklace around her neck, long pink gloves, white earrings, pink high heels, and a tiara on her head. Lisa wears a short, shaggy, brown wig and large glasses. Her sleepwear includes a lime green nightshirt with matching pants, but now wears a green turtleneck sweater, dark pink pants, and brown shoes with no socks, all of which droop down to illustrate her stoic demeanor.
When the sisters exit to the hallway, existing between all the rooms on the second floor with Lincoln's room at one end and the bathroom at the other, they realized that the entire house isn't safe from this cancer. It has a rotten wooden floor with a long red rug made of muscles, and its walls are a sickly yellow and beige. The door to the attic and the stairway to the first floor are also accessible via the hallway and it contains a warped houseplant with black and red leaves instead of green ones. "Kids! Get down here right now!" They hear their parents scream for their children, the tone in their voices startling them. Never have they heard them speak in such a manner, let alone on their more chaotic days.
"Normally I would be excited at such an adventurous new discovery in the field of science," says Lisa in her usual lateral lisp, "but seeing it look like this, in our own home, is making me uneasy." Some give her a look of similar unease, they know she's infamous for her "strange" experiments. To see her hesitate like this. "I don't know. I actually don't mind this renovation. A little on the demonic and fleshy side, but no harm, no fowl to me." Lucy replies, shrugging in normalcy. Lola scoffs at this. "Of course you would approve of this makeover, Spooky. But have you seen how Lana is acting at all this?"
They turn to the twin, who is both quiet and disturbed. The corpses of all her pets, such carnage. she can't even put the thoughts together. "I think I like the clothing on the mannequin, though I don't remember it looking like that yesterday, and who knew that they could move and talk on their own?" Leni says, her naivety fixating on the clothes on the mannequin.
Lori breathes a sigh of relief. If her mental state was as strong as the others, she shudders to think what would happen if she knew what was going on. They head the stairs noticing the pictures of each sibling has been affected someway. Lori has a cracked heart on her picture, Leni and Lisa both have a line above their foreheads, Luna's ears have scratched out, Luan has a line across her neck, the background around Lucy's photo has changed drastically, Lana's eyes have a bestial marking around her eyes, Lola's face has been scratched out entirely, Lily has an inverted heart symbol on her chest, Lincoln's photo has returned to its proper place, one of the sources of the infection. Lynn's photo is completely gone with a deep hole replacing it, corruption moving from Lincoln's picture into the hold, interweaving into the insides of the hallssome of its pieces laid across the stairs and some weird device having been torn out and stabbed into the wall, holding up Lana's picture.
"Apparently whoever was here last night really doesn't like you, ponytail." Luna says to the athlete. She snorts in refusal. Since she discovered the potential that the suit has in keeping "its" bad luck contained, converting it into good luck, things have been going better for the Loud House for the first time in a long time. But then came that roar from last night, and now everything's turned inside out. The way it sounded, it just felt wrong.
The living room is usually where the Loud family congregates. In it is a television set, that includes a DVD player, video game console, and a couch and chairs to watch it on, the former three now missing. The carpet of the living room is covered in the same moss as before, the walls are beige, and the couch and chairs are dark blue. The living room also has a fireplace that is somehow casting a black flame and the brown coffee table is also rotting. They also see their parents down here as well.
Lynn Sr. wore light green pajamas with green stripes then wears a sea green sweater over a light green checkered collar and cuffs, brown slacks and shoes. He has a long pointy nose, brown eyebrows, and curly brown hair that is thinning on the top. Rita's pajamas looks similar to her regular outfit, but with white buttons, that outfit consisting of a pink buttoned shirt with a white collar and cuffs, and purple pants. She has medium length blonde hair and white earrings. She also wears blue eye shadow and red lipstick, while wearing black low tops. She has bags under her eyes, just like Lincoln.
They run into each other and hug them in warm embrace. "Girls! Aw, thank God that you're all safe and sound." Rita says to them crying. "When we saw what had become of our home when we woke up, we feared that whatever came here had got to you." Lynn Sr. adds. Leni replies, "I thought the same for you and, my sisters. Especialy..." "No! We don't ever say its name around here!" Lynn interrupts her. "We all talked about this Leni. We don't say its name around here when no one is around. That way we don't get hit with any bad luck at any moment."
Leni takes a minuite to process then responds. "Oh, thanks Lynn. Though, like, I don't really understand why we had take such action with him just because he wanted some time to himself. I mean, family supports each other, right?" Luna flinches at her words, then turns away. "Leni, we did this because it was the only thing to do to keep our family safe. Exiling himself was its only way of supporting us. Now come one girls, let's get something to eat." Rita responds.
The dining room has the same green rot as the living room, but its walls are iced too. It has a long table covered by a white table cloth made of webbing, and twelve black chairs, corrupted in the same colors for each individual sans Lincoln's. The trophy case carrying the hallmarks of their skills have been utterly destoryed with the contained trophies turned into molten plastic. yet Lincoln's section is still intact. There is even something new here. The 1st Place trophy for the 5th Grade Video Contest. Some of the sisters fall to their knees or step closer to the shattered gallery of success, the rewards and recognition of their deeds, turn to worthelss scrap.
"My trophies, I mean our beautiful trophies?!" Lynn screams out, also correcting herself. "What kind of monster came through here? And what kind of axe is he intending to grind into us?" Luna thinks. "Literally, just where is all this stuff coming from?" Lori says annoyed, "It's growing like kudzu over here." They hear their father screaming like a little girl on Halloween and they head to check up on him.
The kitchen seemed to have lesser damage than the other rooms. In it is a stove, oven, sink, dishwasher, refrigerator and a small table where the youngest members of the Loud family used to eat, as well as Lily's highchair, which is now also made of bones The kitchen has a sickly yellow on its walls and a black and white checkered floor is now checkered in random colors, mainly blood red. The back door and basement stairs are in seem to be blown open from its hatches. "My kitchen, my beautiful kitchen!" The Loud patriarch says. "It's been ransacked! I checked the cabinets to find most of my ingredients gone, and my cookbook has basically become a binder now. Look at this!"
He shows them his cookbook and like he said, all the pages have torn out of the book's spine. Only the front and back covers are all that remain. Luan takes a count of the remaining products and notices something. All the foods that the individuals like are all untouched but the items that they all liked, even it's preferential food categories, are all missing.
Lana spots this discovery too. She's seen her in here taking inventory in preparation for one of her pie-themed pranks. "Not everything has been taken, and besides, we can just get more. With him- I mean it gone. We have one less mouth to feed, right? Still wonder why we had to act that mean to him though." She says catching herself with the "him" word and saying that last sentence to herself, a sentence Lucy heard and frowned harder upon the thought. One breakfast later, Lori decides to address the elephant in the house. "Alright, everyone." the de facto partriach says. "I'm sure everyone knows about this... sickness in our house. So I suggest that we search the entire house for the source of this corruption and find a way to stop it. If this thing is acting like plant, if we cut it off at the source, we stop the whole thing."
The others nod at this decision from Lori. The way this corruption is spreading is similar like that of vines. "Let's just get this over with. This situation isn't really growing on me. Hahaha. Get it?" Luan says, getting a laugh from only her father. "But seriously, let's be rid of this mess." They decide to check the basement, since they are the closest to said room. The basement is accessible via a door in the kitchen, which has been turned to splinters. Inside of the room is the family's washer and dryer now have tounges coming out of the inside. the radiator has sprouted horns, develpoed eyes and the door has become a mouth that breathes out smoke and flame. Cliff's scratching post has become bone and the fusebox seems to have a ring of corruption around it. The most major change is a passageway opening to the left of the radiator heading down, which shows even more corruption. In conclusion, this is the first room in where the corruption seems to originate.
"Ew... It's even worse down here. Just what is this garbage, how can we get rid of it, and how can we turn this back to normal! I've got a pageant coming up and I need a clean gown to win this!" Lola complains, noting the smell of the rot. They would have gone further down the new passageway if not for some dark presence pushing them back. "I don't think it's safe to head down, there." Lucy warns them, "I sense some kind of dark force keeping us out. Somehow it doesn't work as well with me as with you. But it still seems like a bad idea." The family begrudigingly nods, "Agreed. Let's check our bedrooms. See, if we can find anything useful out of it." Rita concludes.
In the parent's room the closet has been where they keep their clothes, including Lynn Sr.'s tie collection which has begun to twitch like tounges, for that is what they have become. Their bedroom's beige walls and lilac carpet are stained in blood and still carry the blood stain. Lynn Sr. is sobbing on his wifes shoulder, mourning the loss of his prized tie collection. The ceiling is still dripping a red substance which seems to have just stopped when they entered as a group, their blanket has a strange symbol on its top, half is a deep green while the other is a dark pink. Lana takes a taste of the liquid and spits it out. "Blood. Human blood." She finally speaks.
Most have become unsettled by that, though Leni wonders if its simpy water with red coloring dye. Lucy takes a taste of it too and nods at them for confirmation. Lana looks up to the hole, then the blood stain on the carpet. "Apparently, this guy knew what makes our house tick despite its damages, though I can't explain how he managed to find and move the blood in such a way that it doesn't line up with hole." Lisa predicts, "Parental units, I suggest that since you showed us your quarters' state, it is only fair that we show you the same in our dwellings."
The parents look at each other and nod after a minuite decide to head up stairs, startled to see that the pictures that they passed moments ago have changed again. Lori's picture now has a heart-sized hole where her chest should be, Leni and Lisa's foreheads have been cut clean off, exposing the brains underneath; Leni's pure and pristine unlike Lisa's which has shows signs of widespread tumors. Luan looks more like a human puppet, with a scar around the neck. Lola's face is completely gone, what remains is something that makes the specific person want to hurl. Luna, Lucy, Lana, and Lily have something more similar. They have somewhat gained far more demonic attributes that correlate to their personalites, prefernces and lifestyles. The person in Lincoln's picture is now older, if not a bit... off. Lynn is on the opposite side of the staircase in a negative film. The way she looks is so empty.
Lynn is currently clenching her left hand, angry at the way this charlatan is insulting her and her family's legacy. In Lori and Leni's room the dresser's mirror is replaced with an eye, the chair has been torn to shreds and the sewing machine, looks like it was made from bone There are some distorted posters pasted on the walls, and on the ceiling there are severed fingers where there were once holiday lights, which still illuminate. Their room has walls as that have frozen solid and dark blue carpeting, akin to the abyss of the ocean's depths Lori's bed has a blue blanket made from an aquatic creature like a fish or shark, while Leni's bed has a fleshed blanket with seafoam green runes.
"It's looks as bad as it was down there as it is from up here." Lynn Sr. says concerned. "It's not that bad, Dad. Besides, I think I like the way that dress looks, but I did make it in my sleep? Or did that come with the arm?" Lori is surprised by that questions and looks over to where Leni is pointing. The mannequin is wearing an elegant black, blue and yellow dress with long leather brown and white boots, a brown shirt and gloves with right arm with a darker red. Its prominent feature is his right arm, which has been twisted and transformed into a five-digit claw whose flesh overlaps his entire right arm and shoulder with glowing eye and on its forearm. Lucy nods in her approval, "That... actually looks better compared to your other works." Lola facepalms, "I can't believe I'm saying this out loud, but I have to agree with Lucy on with this one." She shudders after saying that sentence, either from the times Leni had her try on things or from her time with Lucy, she can't really decide.
Leni moves closer to the mannequin, admiring its attire, "Like, I can't even begin to describe how much I love what this this is wearing, now I wonder how the dresser's attitude would look." As if to answer her question, the arm slowly moves and pulls her closer and to the rest's horror, it grows a pair of eyes and razor sharp teeth. It seems to be whispering something to her, but only Lucy can seem to discern what the message is. "Remember the forgotten one, ignorant soul of purity. Avenge the betrayed son. Hold on to hope, for it may not be there at the end of your journey."
Lynn reacts quickly by separating the malformed hand from Leni and tearing it off, the mannequin doesn't make a scream, but rather reverts to its normal form, yet the arm still manages to twitch and bleed from its severed area. "Huh, I guess I'm this corruption's weakness." She says pridefully. The arm, still moving, clenches its fist and move its wrist back and forth, as if annoyed by her boast and saying no. "Definetly not, roomate. I think it merely decided that after sharing its message, it no longer had a use for the mannequin, Hence why the rest of it lost its 'life'." Lucy corrects. Lynn crosses her arms and scoffs at that. Lisa grabs the arm and speaks, "I'll put this in a vat for a study while you check the third and fourth eldest siblings room." She runs to her room, the limb shaking aggresively.
The double-decker bunk bed for Luna and Luan to sleep on has been split in two, Luna's bed grafted upside to the ceiling. The room now contains a corrupted drum set and some amps for Luna, a broken record player, and the bean-bag chair seems to have looked like someone swapped out its contents for something else. There is a spiked gauntlet on the wall where the boxing gloves, and the letters on the bottom now saying, "DO PUSH", the NOT word seemingly scratched out hastily.
Luan's shelf of her props has been changed drastically, such as an explosive whoopee cushion, a malformed spider that's still twitching, and the fake dog poop is now living and smelling up to its appearnce. Luan's videos of her family's embarrassing moments in her and Luna's closet are gone, replaced with molten slag. The small stage where Luan tells her jokes is completely gone, replaced with statue split in two, the right side representing comedy with its grin and more angelic features with its left side crying out in tragedy with more demonic attributes. The camera that Luan's leaves on seems to be untouched.
Luna scratches her head confusedly , the damage done in this room is more focused on the comedian than the musician than the comedian. Her Logan V-80 Shredderpurple guitar, appearing to be a hybrid of a Gibson Firebird, or Epiphone Explorer with their iconic slanted body, and a Gibson V-Factor with its iconic inward indent, resulting in a slanted 'X' body. It now looks like some kind of axe/guitar hybrid, with violet runes and eight colored gems running beneath the edge. As for her bed, a similar marking is on her bed and by dropping her now diamond pick, it fell upwards, as if gravity snapped in that one spot. As for the corruption, its seems to be only decorative, and doesn't effect the way its played or the sound it makes.
Luan is having the opposite reaction; all of her props, her stage, her material, all of its humiliating moments in its eleven year lifespan, all gone or twisted into something horrible. Mr. Coconuts, a ventriloquist dummy with big eyes, with over-exaggerated pupils that resemble coconuts, hence the name; orange hair in a pompadour, and enlarged dimples, with painted freckles and wearing a yellow barbershop hat, a light blue buttoned jacket, rolled up pants, yellow boots, and a red bow tie seems undamaged, but the look in its eyes... but that's the worst thing. Whoever... whatever was here this night, it knew the camera was on and showed an unseen hand carrying an ornate dagger, carve the yellow runes on her blanket like as cleaver cuts through flesh. There was also a message in the feed. "Who's laughing now?"
"What kind of monster takes this madness as his own sense of humor?" Luan growls. "And why didn't it even bother going for you, Luna?!" She points her fingers, prompting the musician to aim her axe at her. "Haven't you ever heard the saying, method to madness, dude? Clearly he wants to make me hurt too, and he wants to draw my pain out for as long as we can. I'm willing to see that through, can you say the same?" Luna retorts. She tries to say something joke-related to object, but she keeps her mouth shut. Luna puts the object back on its modified stand as Lana goes after the scat.
They head to the twin's room, but Lana doesn't eneter, "You can go on ahead, I'm going to check on Lisa. I've already seen what's happened in there. I don't want to remind myself of that... mess." The twins' bedroom contains Lana and Lola's beds, the latter's a draped canopy of flesh and webbing with pink markingsadded to the bed while the former's a generic bed with a teal blanket of ooze. Also in the room is a play kitchen with blooded silverware, a tea set, and a shattered terrarium next to Lana's bed. Their room has pink fleshed out walls, a carpet of scat, and a window with lilac curtains with purple veins. Strewn across the floor are the devoured corpses of Lana's pets, save for the bodies of Cliff, Charles, Walt, Geo, Hops, and Fangs.
Many of them turn away from this atrocity, save Lucy, who has been analyzing the each magic circle inscribed on each bed. "These magic circles on each of our beds, the designs are different with each person, but the patterns are all the same. And the bodies, the way they were killed, slaughtered, and how the positions of their death and placement on the ground, it's another ones of those circles made from a blood sacrifice. Only a beast of darkness would be able to find its way inside, make prey of them, and leave as silently as it came, but only an intelligent entity, someone who knows their occultism even greater than myself would arrange both body and blood in such manuscripts."
On that troubling thought, they proceed to the youngest siblings quarters. In Lisa and Lily's room, the desk where Lisa concocts various potions and formulas has been completely destoyed and the contents scattered across the floor, staining the small fleshy pink rug. The carpet is made of a dark green mold as is Lisa's blanket with lavender grid patterns and the walls are light green, scorched in green flame. The changing table in is gone, replaced with something akin to a small sacrifical altar used in certain religions, they then realize that they completely forgot about Lilt about this point, as they see her on said altar and the lavender markings on the altar has just faded.
As the youngest of the Loud siblings, Lily is very small, and usually just wears her diaper. She has one prominent tooth, and three strands of blonde hair on her head. Her nightwear consists of lavender footie pajamas, but that's not what surprises them so much, that belongs to the plush doll that she holds close; Bun-Bun. Bun-Bun is a stuffed rabbit that belongs to Lincoln. It has beige fur, large eyes, a black nose, and is dressed in a purple polo shirt. The doll sat on his bed during the day, and Lincoln sleept with it under his covers at night.
Lynn goes over to take the doll from Lily and throw it out again, but Lisa and Lana stop her. "What the heck, guys? We know that thing is bad luck, just like everything else that it owned. Why are you stopping me?" Lynn accuses them. The prodigy points over to a green cylinder, where she has put the arm. Since the few minuites they had last seen said limb, it has changed drastically to look an incomplete human being. The arm has three digits instead of five now, a rudimentary jaw lined with sharp teeth are both on his shoulder and its newly grown chest. Its feets has developed talons and its right leg having taken on the form of a large jaw, similar to his right shoulder. The only thing its missing is a left arm, head, torso, right leg, and a completed exterior.
"Lisa, please tell you didn't literally help this thing?" Lori says, her hands itching and ready to turn her into a human pretzel. "I wish I could take credit for this, but this something that has happened on its own. Just as I was heading to our room, it already started changing form. I just put in the vat when its shoulder began to start biting me." Lisa says, rubbing her shoulder.
"I wasn't hurt, of course. But I've heard of nothing that can grow that fast. All of this wrong, I'm trying to find the source of this corruption, where it originated from, how to kill it, how to possibly put it to use in my own studies, and find a logical conclusion to all this madness, but so far I've got nothing! I'm supposed to be the smart one, yet I can't get even past the first step!" She breaks down. Lana hugs her as a reaction, "Don't worry, Lis. We'll figure this out. These sort of things just take time to come together. I fix stuff all the time, but the more tricky ones usually take a couple days to get together."
She sniffles a bit before getting back to normal. "Thanks, Lana. I needed that. Anyway, it seems one of the hot spots is in Lynn and Lucy's room. I will assure, it did not look pleasant before hand." Inside the room, Lynn's arms begin to shake in anger again as Lucy looks around it like an art critic approving of a person's work.
Lynn's pennants have turned into blood vessels with smaller ones detailing the teams that were inscribed upon her side of the room, while Lucy's side has a different kind of mirror, and a demonic shrine placed on the writing desk. The light grey walls and dark grey carpet have become red like exposed muslces and a tar lick black. Lynn's bed has a wet bloodstained blanket of flesh carved with runes and symbols of unknown origin, while Lucy's has an inky black blanket and the high frame are replaced wih spines Lynn and Lucy's curtains also don't match: one curtain is red with a 13 written on it while the other is black with a weird emblem on it, almost like a warbanner. Lynn's lamp has three eyes protruding from the edges and grip.
"Lisa, get to work on that stuff right now or so help me-" Lynn threatens her before being slapped in the back of the head by Lucy. "Lynn, have you already forgotten what she said? It. Will. Take. Time." Lucy reminds, "Just be patient and give it a chance right now. Or do you want to live in the same way as Lincoln did? Cold and alone, slumbering out in the cold outdoors like a tamed dog, no offense to Charles." She whirls at her and slams her against the wall next to the shrine, "Don't you dare say his name in this house, that thing was bad luck ever since it was born!" She yells at her. Luna clearly objects, "That's enough, Lynn! What makes you think that he wanted to become a curse? Did you think that he merely lied to you to simply get some time to himself?"
She closes her mouth in surprise, finally realizing the cause of this madness. Lynn however doesn't see it. "Oh, I know what he is and I don't care what it wanted. I was chosen by the gods and the heavens to be the greatest athlete in history! That fate was threatened by that cursed monster you still a brother." She punches at the wall next to Lucy as Lana rushes to defend, "Stop it, Lynn! She's our sister! What do you even have against Lincoln anyway?" She throws the tomboy aside while she continues, "I'm a winner and winners never lose. I will do everything it takes to achieve my destiny and I will not let it or anyone else stop me."
"His name is Lincoln L. Loud. At least it should be his name if not for your susperstitious paranoia, or have you already forgotten, you spoiled brat?" A thirteenth voice calls out to the athlete, startling the group. A hand pushes her hand away from Lucy as it sinks back into the wall. They look around to find the voice, then find that the mirror is not reflecting the family but someone else entirely. His face is concealed in darkness, but his legs are crossed and he's tapping his fingers against each other. Whoever this person is, he's clearly not happy. "And what would you know about us, mister?" Lola retorts.
"Everything and more, Pinky." He responds, getting a chuckle from Luan and the others, much to her chagrin. "I do hope you enjoyed my... message, for it will not be the last. I am a very busy entity with a lot on his plate, so I will make this simple. Repent for sins against your brother and atone for your crimes against the people of this world. Otherwise, we will see each other again very soon, especially you, traitor." His eyes glow scarlet, his glance angled to Lynn in contempt. "Oh, and do give my greetings to the charade in Lisa's room. If it must die over and over again in order to reap vengeance upon all of you, then so be it. Plus, you might want to check the closet, Something to remember him and me by as well as what you have done." He waves his right hand and the mirror shows their reflection once more. Most of them back away from Lynn, as she is currently fuming out of the ears right now. Lisa is frozen stiff, who is he, how did he do that with a mirror, and how on Earth does knows about the copy? The only people who know about that subject is the members of this family, even it... oh no.
Lisa runs to where the closet is and the family doesn't need a word to know what is going on, what they find is a but a symbol of their betrayal. The closet, decked out with the appropriate amenities, has been completely replaced with a twisted version of Lincoln's old room. There is a bed, dresser, and a mirror similar to the one Lucy has now. The closet's clothes rack to hang his shirts and model spaceships, have been switched with small suits of armor and black spheres of energy. The many comic books and movie action figures inside his room, are replaced with black lexicons and puppet like replicas of the Loud family, with almost life-like detail. In addition, the bookshelf is a weapons rack and the several posters look more like small tears in the wall.
"He was right. He knows everything about us. Our mistakes, our victories, our sacrifices, our secrets. He knows them all." Lisa speaks, not even realizing what she is even saying. Leni, Luna, Lucy and Lana look away from this atrocity, they already know where this is going. "He even knows about the clone." Most of them are surprised by that remark, the former knew better. "How does he know about that Lisa? You built that thing to be a perfect copy! So how can he tell?" Lola demands, still angry about the "Pinky" insult.
"I don't know, Lola!" Lisa yells back. "I built it to be a perfect duplicate, But he would only know that if someone told him and I doubt it's Lincoln. The animatronic Lana and I developed from that squirrel suit was designed to find, capture and return the human should it ever escape from it's confines. And yet, I have recieved no signal from the unit, so something must have happened." Lucy sighs, "Whatever the case, we will need to be careful about anything new that shows up. We won't know if it's related to the stranger, so we will have to keep an eye and ear out for them." Lucy concludes. Despite the anger surrounding some of the siblings, they manage to calm down and make the same conclusion. "Lucy's like... right guys." Leni says, "Let's just finish what we started."
The third floor's attic is also corrupted, the fold-up ladder through a door above the kids' hallway, has seemed to have been fused to the floor by organic matter. Up there are located some old objects such as games, boxes, a broken old-fashioned television set and Lynn Sr.'s old camera. The kids' parents also keep stored there Lincoln's homemade coffee mugs in a box, before they threw them in the garbage. Lucy had a secret dark place in there, but now it feels like something is in that place now, staring them back. There is also a cardboard box full of hand-me-downed clothes. The farthest back corner of the attic has no windows, which Lincoln found a bit creepy due to the lack of light, now there is an abundance of dust, originating from the old items that are still remain or have strangely aged beyond repair and restoration.
"Same thing, here. This corruption that he mentioned seems to be focused on all of us specifically." Lori says, holding what remains of a toy phone that she once used. "Some of our mementos are either missing, or almost completely gone, almost as if something literaly ate it or turned the clock forward on these objects."
The areas outside of the house have been not spared this travesty. The front garden has a dead crimson tree and a lot of the Loud children's toys, such as balls, bicycles and skateboards lay broken and discarded across the ground. There is also a hole where the sandbox used to be, a rusted baby swing for Lily, two other swings for the older Louds with the same condition. The backyard is both rotted and scorched. Like the front garden, it also has a tree but it shows the same corruption and decay as the other plantlife across the property, and the entrance to Lisa's bunker seemingly burst open, the corruption spreading from it like an infected wound.
"So now we know where this sickness is coming from." Lucy says, she and the family glancing over to Lisa. "Why are you looking at me like that? Sure, I've done some things that may seem off to you, but I wouldn't do something like this so brazenly." She defends herself, "At least not without permission of course." Lori facepalms herself, "Of course she would say that and of course he went there too."
The garage is on the right side of the house. It's doors are also blasted open from the inside as the bunker was, but their vehicle of choice, Vanzilla is surprisingly untouched. The van has a two-tone green and white color scheme with two doors in the side, one of which has a broken lock and a window roller. It has four rows of seating; one with the drivers' seat and adjacent passenger seat and three with seats for other passengers. The license plate reads "LLLD". On the front of the van is the word "FUNG", which may be the name of the van's manufacturer. Likewise, the rear door has a badge with the initials "FMC" on the lower right, which may stand for "Fung Motor Company".
Despite the van bearing no distinct resemblance to any other real life vehicle, it takes design cues from various vans of the 1960's. The front grille resembles that of a 1964-1970 Dodge A-100, and the headlights slightly resemble those of a 1962-1967 Ford Falcon Club Wagon. The rear profile of the van also appears to be taken from the Econoline. It also has the split-screen windshield and taillight placement of the 1950-1967 Volkswagen Type 2. However, it also has some traits of more modern minivans, giving the van a more anachronistic appearance. The windows on the van are much larger, less round, and has less windows than 1960's vans. It also has single rear doors on both sides that are hinged, similar to the 1994-1998 Honda Odyssey.
"I'm going to perform a diagnostic on the van while you boot it up." Lana says, showing contempt to the faker. "I'll help her too, I think we all need the fresh air." Luna glances to over to Lucy, who picks up the message and bumps Leni with her elbow, and drags her inside the room too. Lynn is suspicious of this, but decides to let it slide for now. Back in Lisa and Lily's room, Lisa pulls up her computer to intiate the start-up sequence. The closet doors open up and a pair of optical sensors begin to activate, all the while a twisted hand begins to clench its fist, an infant listen to unheard whispers, and a toy begins to show a fanged grin.
Hazbin Hotel, Pentagram City, Pride Ring, Hell
Eyes open, darker than the night sky before switching to normal white eyes with black irises and red pupils. Lincoln raises himself upright, the pain strangely weaker than normal but still present. He immediately notices that the room he is in is not his cell, but something found in a hotel. It's definitively larger than the closet his room used to be, though finding some of the things he had owned or used are somehow in said room, such as his model spaceships, comic books, figures, posters, along with other objects such as the TV, DVD player, and game console from the living room, the chair he used to sit on in the dining room. Even though they are slightly different or restored compared to the other items in the room.
There are two others in his bed, one is around his size with pink hair, her face obscured as she is facing away from him, the other one, looking like a young adult is sleeping on his right side from the chair she sits. This one and her desheveled blonde hair reminds him of Leni, one of the two innocents of his monstrous clan. He notices the window gleaming with red light and concludes, "A window. I'll probably need to get a handle on this change if I want to learn what to do next." He slips out of the bed, keeping the others asleep, but falls due to the strain on his body, He nearly fell on the floor but he rights himself on his hands. Surprised by this display of acrobatics, he flips over again and steadies himself with both of his legs this time. "Okay." Lincoln whispers to himself, "Not even she was able to react that quickly, and I doubt I learned how to do it recently, considering what happened after that day."
He finds a mirror, and sees that most of the damage that his body has sustained since that game has been healed, yet the scars remain. His forehead and hair are wrapped in gauze as his waist and the rest of his body are bandaged, concealed beneath his old pajamas. He checks the room again, and the suit is not present. Lincoln sighs in relief, wherever he is, whoever is the lord or lady of this house, this person is clearly not in league with the Louds. He gazes out the window to find a startling sight, a crimson sky illuminates a sprawling city with a giant red pentagram upon the sky. The people that he manages to see don't even look human, but usually have hornsSome of the buildings that he sees are either shaped to have eyes or faces or carry neon signs that pertain to a certain location, one of them saying "WELCOME TO HELL." Lincoln is shocked by this revelation, so much so that he stumbles all the back to the bed that he was placed.
He is caught by a pair of arms, but the force wakes up the sleeping woman. She snorts and stands up, rubbing her eyes and stretching her arms. She turns around to Lincoln, revealing her chalk-white clown/puppet like face. He tries to jump a bit but the hands manage to keep him down. The man's face is concealed by both mask and hood, his attire appearing to be a mix of plate armor, gemstones, runes and a dreadful sense of darkness, corruption, evil, chaos and death, but the details are hidden in a thick black mist. "This your first time seeing a Hellborn?" He asks him, a tone that is opposite to his attire. "Because I would be quite surprised to see such a face. Whether its a good or bad surprise depends on your perception." The woman chuckles. "So you finally woke up, Lincoln? Good. I just asked Vaggie to try and make some pancakes for you. I just thought you might be hungry when you would wake up."
"How do you know my name?" Lincoln asks the woman. "I'm sorry, where are my manners?" She shakes her head and running her hands through her hair, straightening it out. "My name is Charlotte Magne, Princess of Hell and the Founder of the Happy Hotel of Pentagram City. But you can just call me Charlie." The man follows up, "And my name is Satanael Preimere, at your service." He bows to him. The boy slumps down on the chair she slept on. "So it's true, my sins actually sent me down here then, I knew I shouldn't have lied to Leni about being-" He laments to himself, but the man interrupts, placing a finger on his mouth. "Don't say that phrase here, mortal." His tone darker than it was a moment ago. "The sinners down here would find it to be quite the trigger word if you catch my meaning. And if you check your pulse right now, you would find that you are very much alive. Besides, there are far worse places to end up in, take it from someone who knows."
Lincoln processes this information for a bit, he puts his fingers on his wrist and like he said, there is a pulse and that means that he is very much alive. "And even if you died, your body would reflect the sins you commited in your first life, that part would be very much obvious." He finishes. Charlie thinks to herself, "He couldn't have just started with that from the getgo?" A sweat drop icon appearing on her head. The boy puts his hands above his head and back. "No, you do not have a halo or bird wings. That outcome is impossible, though you actions do technically make a fallen angel much like her father." Satanael gives a glance Charlie, who gives a thought and makes the same conclusion.
The man forms a rod out of thin air and pushes the other sleeping figure off the bed. "Ow! What was that for?" The girl turns around, showing her single eye. She attempts to stand, but then realizes the company she has and simply sinks deeper into the ground, grabbing something on her way out. "Please forgive Nifty, she hasn't seen a boy of your... age in a long time, and she can quite unpredictable when she needs to be. I thought Alastor taught her better about self-control." The door opens and out steps out two other figures, a woman carrying the pancakes that Charlie mentioned earlier and one clad in a crimson suit with a similar, if not weaker presence to the that of the man, followed suit by the same cycloptic demon, now fully prepared this time and a feline demon with poker themed wings.
The man facepalms himself, "What was that saying again, Speak of the Devil and he shall come?" He says to himself. "It is and don't you forget it, Satanael." The crimson one adds to it, his grin showing his pointed teeth. The woman moves past and places the meal on the nightstand. "Here, Lincoln. You must be famished after the whole... experience." She says. Lincoln spots the X's on her attire but just nods in agreement, his eyes fixed on her right eye. Lincoln turns away before Vaggie got any ideas and starts devouring his food. You have no idea what he had to eat during that time.
"He seems... eager about your cooking, Vaggie." Charlie says, relieved about his strength returning. "It's almost if he had been made to eat something terrible or nothing at all." She glances at Satanael who simply turns away and says nothing, confirming her theory. Charlie looks back to the boy while Vaggie clenches her fists. "Just to change the subject, Your attire is very... unique." Alastor says, changing the subject and shifting the attention to the elder newcomer. "Bleh. Just looking at it makes feel dirty." Nifty says, clearly not sharing her master's sense of intrigue. For a moment there, she could have sworn that she saw part of his armor blink. "I honsetly don't know why I crafted this attire to behin with." Satanael explains, gaing at his fingers, "But it just felt right to me... familiar to me. But I will slip into something more comfortable if it is more to your liking."
His attire becomes a black mist and starts to thin out. When it settles it now forms a full-length black coat with intricate scarlet designs, a hood and a waist-high slit going up the back, similar to a duster. It has purple flame-like hues around on the ends of the sleeves as well as the base of the coat. It has a large silver zipper that fastens at the top and zips down to seal the coat. It has silver drawstrings for the hood decorated with a large silver bead hanging from the end and a silver chain ornament adorned with four large cylindrical silver beads that fastens to a loop on either side of the collarbone region. He then finishes the transition by removing said hood, showing his pale skin. Husk whistles at the threads, "Nice duds, dude. Not as badass as mine but still looking good."
Lincoln, having finished with his well-needed meal, speaks up, "Man this stuff is really good, it almost reminds of what my fa-" he turns to the man and drops his fork in the ground in shock of what he now witnesses. "What the... Why do you look like me? And I thought I looked banged up." The boy says. Satanael turns to him, chuckling at the little joke, "I once had a body that I once called my own, but when I was betrayed by those I called family much like you. My physical form was shattered, and scattered by the winds of creation. My soul, however, refused to die. As a further act of aggression, I was imprisoned in that void that you found yourself within. Through your fallen blood, my imprisonment and chains shattered apart and for the first time that I saw you, you reminded myself of who was I was before my fall from grace and I saw a similar history to my own when I peered into your soul. Your phenotype became the cornerstone of my new body, a gift you gave to me that I have no intention of discarding."
Lincoln looks between his body and Satanael's, then thinks back to what happened to him before today. "So you are saying that we are alike now, right?" said Lincoln "The answer is yes and no. I mean, you are a next level entity and yet still human as well because you are still yourself, I think that you have one foot on Earth and one foot in his world now." said Charlie gazing to Satanael, who dissipates his sleeve to reveal a puncture in his skin then points to the IV unit next to his bed. Four arms appear and delicately and uncomfortably unravel the bandages on his arms, revealing similar punctures in each arm. In reaction, Lincoln jabs his elbows behind him.
Something squeals in pain from that movement and he spots a spider-like demon in questionable attire covering up his nether regions. "Why?" He squeals falling on the same side of the bed as Nifty did. Vaggie chuckles at this moment of pain once again. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" Lincoln apologizes to him. "Angel Dust, didn't we talk about you sneaking up on people?" Charlie berates him, "You did Charlie, but I didn't expect him to play hard to get." Angel retorts, brushing himself down. "Sorry to spook you like that kid, name's Angel Dust." "But you may call him Anthony, for that is the name he was given during his mortal life." Satanael finishes for him. "As for the others, The scarlet gentlemen over there is called Alastor, otherwise known as the Radio Demon."
Alastor takes his hat off for the boy as a sign of salutations, "My cloeset associates that I allow to live call me Al. But regardless of titles, I look forward to getting to know you." The Radio Demon says. Satanael continues, "The winged panther of fortune over there is named Husk, just don't aggravate whenever he's had usual alcohol intake." Husk brings a hand up to his chin to ponder. "Winged Panther of Fortune, that actually doesn't sound like shit, and I know shit when I hear it." The demon admits. "Word of warning, Lincoln. Many of the people down have a habit of using vulgar words and swears in their dialect." Vaggie mentions while Lincoln shrugs. "No need to worry, I hear this stuff from my family too. I think I can handle that."
"And I assume that you have already met Nifty." Says Satanael, gesturing to the youngling who giggles and waves her hand in an unsettling way to Lincoln. The boy forces a smile and waves back at her, who giggles and turns away. "Unfortunately, I have." He whispers quietly enough for both Satanael and Charlie to hear. "Whatever happened last night must have really excited. And I'm worried about what might happen next." Angel starts to walk him, "Not to be a bitch about these sort of things Saty but how the hell do you that name? For I'm sure as fuck I didn't tell anyone-" The man grabs the hand he used and clenches it in retalitation. Angel brings out his other arms, including his third pair of arms, only for Satanael to meet each of them and give him a certain glare that stopped him glare.
"To answer your question, arachnid of lust. You never bothered to impart said to anyone down here. But in between the mortal worlds and the afterlife, everything is laid bare before the ones who judge which afterlife the soul is sent to. Even I am able to see, hear and learn every single detail all the way down from my prison. I made sure of that before that day." He explains to Angel Dust, sending shivers down his spine and making Alastor and the others raise an eyebrow in curiosity. "Did you really think that Heaven and Hell are the only two afterlives in the reality of Death?"
Satanael simply chuckles at the thought. "There is an entire universe, if not Multiverse of realms that the departed are sent to. From divine planes like Heaven, to wartorn lands where only the strong survive and defend the weak, lush forests that reflect the concept of life, purgatories where redemption and atonement are crucial like this world, and then there places that make even the darkest pits of Hell look like the Garden of Eden." His gaze turns back to Angel. "Things are going to be very different from now on, Anthony. In the beginning, you used this hotel as a hideaway from your boss with free-rental, gambling the reputation of this facility."
He says, closing his eyes as the term of boss causing the spider to wince. "If you are going to continue to be our guest, you are going to work for it. That means you will fully cooperate with rehabilitation under close supervision. If you perform exceptionally, I will allow you to continue your... jaunts with impunity. We will discuss further details later. But if you step out of line in a way that I don't like-" His eyelids open again, only for the eye sockets visible and everything in the room to glitch again. "I will make your final moments so painful, your darkest memories with Valentino look like one of your more subtle jobs. Understood?"
Alastor simply nods at this little moment, "This is more entertaining than I first thought." He thinks, "I'm just thankful that he's on our side. I can only imagine what would happen if he was my opponent." The thought darkens, "Or if he decided to show his true self. Or if he snapped." Angel just simple backs away, his muscles tense as he falls off the bed the same way as before. His head peaks out as he simply nods. Satanael breathes as the room reverts back and his eyes return to his sockets. "Forgive my hostilties, Anthony. When I saw you remove the bandages on Lincoln's arm in such a manner, something triggered inside me. Perhaps it is a father's devotion to protect his only son?" He gazes towards Lincoln and the boy finally understands the nature of him being here.
"You... want me to be your... son?" Lincoln utters, his voice breaking and tears streaming down. Satanael nods, "Only if you wish to be. The two of us are one and the same, betrayed by family, cast out of our homes, and forsaken by the very people for whom we loved and trusted the most." He extends his declaration to the rest of the demons in the room. "But together, all of us, we will show those who wronged us in both life and death, time and space, the error of their ways." We will bring salvation to those like us and all those we all hold close dear to our hearts the true future that we will create with our united hopes and dreams. Those who believe in the same truth and ideals as we do will be able to carve fate with thier own two hands. As for those who believe in the broken system that we live in the present day is right and just, they will learn or they will fall."
Charlie suddenly claps slowly, a similar expression on her face like the human. "That. Was. Beautiful. Your dream is so much like mine, you see the good in people and try to make them see their true self too. And yet you desire to share that dream with all of those around you and you're willing to stand your ground when things get tough." Vaggie agrees, "What she said, but just be careful about what you say as well as how, where and when you say it. Demons here don't usually like treason or new competition." Alastor claps too, quite entertained by this dream of his. Husk simply shrugs, not really caring in the slightest. Nifty's attention his still fixed on Lincoln, despite listening to his words. He bows at them like a gentleman. "Such generous words are not necessary, your majesty and milady. But I will take them all the same" Satanael thanks them. Vaggies humphs and turns her head away, still not trustworthy of the newcomer. Charlie turns away from everyone for a moment then turns back.
Angel Dust picks a slightly stonger tint of red on her cheeks, and gives a look to Satanael. "Who knew that tall dark and brooding had such a charming way with words?" He thinks. "Still, I probably need to be careful around him, beings like him have a tendency to know things right from the beginning. Otherwise he might shoot off my-" Satanael returns his glance and gives him a nod, finishing the thought and freaking him out again. "So." Lincoln says, "How did you save me?"
Satanael responds by raising his right and making a black liquid, his blood, form a sphere above his palm, "The injuries that you recieved on Earth had both quality and quantity. It's a miracle that your soul had enough willpower to keep yourself alive for so long. Others would have died long ago under that kind of strain. I will not stir up bad memories so I will skip the details. Simply put, you lost far too much blood for your body to function. The best thing I had to was give a blood transfusion, using my own as a base." He explains My own abilities would then act in response to the new body and change it to fit its needs, keeping the phenotype as preserved as possible. Your newfound agility is proof of that. The only problem is that I needed a pure blood sample from a secondary individual to complete the operation. Since you're here standing on your own two feet, I can only assume that said demon did the deed in the dead of night and is keeping quiet. At this point forward, you are more like me than you are human."
Lincoln remembers that he spotted red eyes when looked within the mirror and under closer inspection, Satanael has the eye color too. "Lincoln, I know you're glad that you are safe from them." Charlie referring to the Louds with venom in her tone. "But you will need to take things easy and rest so the healing can do its thing." "Correctly on point there. Charlie and I think you should be able to regain your strength so little boy can you make sure to take step by step go easy on yourself." says Alastor "Agreed." Nifty adds, "Same here, babe." Lincoln takes a step away from the custodian from that remark. "Hehehe so how are you feeling now?" asks Angel Dust "I'm fine, but a little pain's not so bad. One more thing, who healed me up because I have never had such a good feeling before in my life." Lincoln look at his arms and legs all the cuts the bruises are all gone, but still the scars running across his body still remain. A grin on his face with the newfound sensation coursing through his body.
"I do apologize for my inability to restore the parts of your skin that your new scars have taken away. If you wish, I can make it look like they are gone." Lincoln shakes his head. His tone darker than it once was. "No, I want them all to see the results of my life as a Loud, this sensation. It feels good. It's like you said before. If we are going to make that dream of yours a reality, then having any past regrets is going to do me no good. They must either be resolved, buried, or be eradicated. From this moment forward, Lincoln Loud is dead." His eyes open again, his eyes black as his new father before switching back. Nifty grins at this, clearly impressed and warmer with this newfound moxxie from the mortal.
Vaggie smirks too, seemingly ready to do some hurt on some very bad people, living and dead alike. Husk appears more motivated than usual and Angel Dust begins to crack his six knuckles in eagerness. Alastor's energies seem to resonate with this declaration his cheshire grin more prominent than ever. Charlie simply nods, something glinting within her eye. The presence that Satanael carries, it grows ever stonger. "Now that we are in agreement. There is the matter of the cover story that the two of us need. Someone of my unique potential and his mortality will make us targets for hostile outside forces. If we provide a convincing enough identity, then we would be able to avoid their gaze for now. Demons everywhere know of the name Satan, but they do not know of Satanael so they will presume it to be a simple homage to the fallen god of the dark. But there is still the problem for our new friend here, for he was unconcious during that original conversation."
The combined demons begin brainstorming ideas. Alastor's idea of them being new associates of his is far too obvious despite the potential use of the idea, Husk's idea was as absolute as a coin toss. Too much risk and little reward. Nifty's idea was quickly shot down by Lincoln for obvious reasons. We won't even bother to discuss Angel Dust's idea. Vaggie idea to function during the night works, but there is still the concept of their daytime personas. "I think I've got it." Charlie exclaims, eager with the concept. "What if we have you and Lincoln act as our newest patients and guests here in the hotel? Satanael did agree to become our newest tenant last night."
Vaggie catches on with the idea and adds her own contribution, "That's right, I know for a fact that there will some baggage that both of you carry with your hearts. Like you said Lincoln, they must be resolved or they will continue to haunt you. There is the concept of education and reconnection to the few allies you still have, if you have any left. But we can reach that point when we get to it. When you're both here at night, you will be able to do what you please as long as it doesn't affect the facility's reputation. It's already taken hits thanks to Anthony over there."
Angel Dust sighs, "You're going to hold that over me for as long as I live here, aren't you?" Vaggie smirks, nodding to spite him. Satanael turns back to the boy, "Is this satisfactory to you, my son?" He asks him. The boy turns back to him, "All of this is more than satisfactory, Father." He answers, kneeling before his new patriarch. Perhaps it is the black blood flowing through the mortal's veins that is now affecting his mind and soul. He summons a blade and places it on his right shoulder, then his left. "Very well, from this point forward, you shall be known forever more as Lucifer Arsene Priemere II. The Dark Son."
The same black mist appears from Satanael and spreads to Lucifer like a tendril and his attire has now changed. It has started out as something similar to what the man once what wore, but appears to be a lesser variation made of mail armor and like elements, and is now a black ankle-length tailcoat, a high-necked waistcoat with gold accents, black pants, brown-black winklepickers and a pair of red gloves. His expression and demeanor are also markedly different and there's a strong air of confidence to him compared to his usual self. Lucifer looks down to see the threads and gives his father a nod in approval. With that in mind, Satanael fishes out a piece of paper and hands it to Charlie, "You promised to act as his mother in Rita's stead," The demon says, "and there is no better or legal way than an adoption paper. I've already filled out most of the segments and its already been approved, once they learn to see things our way."
Lucifer turns to Charlie with a surprised and then an understandable look on his face as she and Vaggie takes a close inspection of the document in question, and are surprised that this parchment is the real deal. All of the data regarding the father and the son has been filled with complete accuracy. The only thing remaining is for the princess of Hell to fill out her piece. "Wow, you really know how to think ahead with things." Charlie says to him. "I only try my best." He shrugs. "However, if the rest of you are willing to contribute as surrogate aunts, uncles and cousins. I won't stop you, hence the loopholes I mentioned I last night." Satanael's eyes glance to Vaggie when referencing aunts, Alastor to uncles, and Nifty to cousins.
Vaggie gives a permissive look to Charlie, who cups her hands together and nods her head, followed by a thumbs up from Lincoln who has clearly taking a liking to her. Alastor ponders at the opportunity. Already his mind is running with entertaining ideas of contracts and bargains. When he agreed to aid Charlie in this little venture of futility, he presumed that this would end in his favor, but with the arrival of Satanael, preserving this deal and making sure he plays along with his operations is now in his best interests. Uncle Al' is going to be very busy.
Angel Dust seems excited but cautious about this change of events, sure he's happy for the kid but the father is terrifying. Cherri would like him very much. Husk pulls out a playing card from his pocket and angles it at him. An ace of spades with Lucifer on it, the icon shaped like a black inverted heart. He moves his fingers to find that there other cards. that have been slipped in. One shows a queen of diamonds with Charlie on it, a queen of hearts with Vaggie on it, a joker of diamonds with Alastor on it, a joker of hearts with Angel on it, a joker of cloves with Nifty on it, a joker of spades with Husk himself on it and a king of spades with Satanael on it. He throws them into a bin, not really caring about the weird connection it has to them. Nifty's still focused on Lincoln, the cousin term getting her gears turning. Charlie hands the father the document, cementing her role as mother as Satanael opens the door to the patio as the others follow him. Overlooking Pentagram City, the demon declares. "My friends, my family. Our story begins."
Similar to Helluva Loud Luck and Helluva Loud Adventures, I may or may not write some altered versions of scenes from different episodes, at least until after the Casagrande arc in Season 4. The attire is similar to what Pyrrha Omega wore in Soul Calibur V. The mindset for this version Lynn was inspired by Loudverse EW0.1-OOL aka Epic-Writer 0.1's Out of Luck. Normally one would put the link in this story but this is not Youtube. Fortunately that's what the search bar is for. The red coloration on the trees were inspired by the Val'sharah region in World of Warcraft: Legion. Lincoln... or in this case Lucifer's attire is inspired by Joker's attire in Persona 5. Until then, recover the past, shape the present, change the future.
