"Well, I guess Stephen did see it," I told Wong as he was looking at the remains of Mjolnir.

"He did but there was a fifty-percent chance you'd stay dead. It was a risky move."

"Yeah well, we knew that from the beginning, didn't we?" I pursed my lips. "So, is there a spell to fix a magical hammer from Asgard?"

"For a limited amount of time only, and it's not just the hammer, Odin had enchanted it. We need a restoration spell." I conjured The Book of the Vishanti in front of us. "I'll look for it."

"Restoring the magic, fixing the pieces and seal the deal basically, right?"

"Yes, and it's keeping the pieces together that should be temporary. The Reality Stone can't hold forever unless used with the Time Stone."

"Basically, each stone is complementary to each other, great. We'll just...go back to Nidavellir once it's over."

After a few minutes, Wong found the spell.

"I'm going to start, then you'll synchronize your magic with mine. Now you have the stone, they're deeply connected."

"Now I've died and the synchronization finished you mean," I corrected him.

An orange circle appeared around the hammer remains, symbols quickly spreading below them. I took a deep breath and stretched out my hands. Dark red energy appeared and attached itself to the orange one. They mixed together and covered the metal pieces, lifting them from the ground.

"So...we need to restore Asgardian magic, right?"

"Stay focus!" I zipped it. If anything, I let my magic strengthen Wong's.

Instead of a weird mix of orange and dark red, the magic on the metal pieces turned white.

"Now the pieces!" I nodded.

I pictured Mjolnir as I had always known it. Impossible to lift if not worthy, the shape, color, symbols, everything. In front of me, the pieces found each others to reform the weapon.

I then did the sealing spell. There was a wave of energy once it was done and Mjolnir fell to the ground. I exchanged a look with Wong and we walked to it. I touched it. It was solid, there was no break.

I tried to lift it.

I couldn't.

"Fuck it," I mumbled to myself. "How do we take it to Wakanda if we can't lift it?"

"The same way Strange sent you here, we move the portal."

"Right." I took a deep breath. "I'll let you do that, and use a ton shit of protection spells too. Are the others ready?"

"Waiting for my signal once I'm there," he assured me. I nodded.

"So...so I think my spell's gonna break once he gets too many stones, and then he's after me. So huh...gosh, I didn't...wait!" He raised a brow at me. "The Reality Stone is a door to the multiverse and other realities, so it means the stones are in each universe out there, right?"

"I already told you that." I ignored his annoyance.

"So if you take the stones to another reality, wouldn't they lose their powers because they're linked to the creation of their reality and universe?"

"Most probably, yes." I pursed my lips. "I don't think the mirror dimension will work."

"Yeah but a pocket dimension might."

"Do you have access to that?"

"Yes, I did. Once. By accident. But except cutting his arm off we don't have much choice and we'd need to make contact with him so…" He nodded.

"I should go, don't take too long." He was gone in a second and I took a deep breath.

I conjured the stone. Alright, dark matter, another reality...Oh.

I just needed to link my portal to the stone and I was in the stone's pocket dimension. The woman I had seen on Sakaar was there.

"I don't have a choice, do I?" she asked with a sigh.

"Not really no, unless I can create my own pocket dimension?"

"You could, but with more experience, not now." She looked at the sky. "I'd need to hide these." She looked back at me.

With a flick of her hand, my clothes changed. Gone was the Sakaaran gladiator outfit. Instead I had black boots up to my knees, skin-tight black pants in what appeared to be thick leather-like material. Then I had a skin-tight black bustier with dark red magical symbol going up and down on each side. It was connected to the black coat, that reached my knees, I had, the ends having holes in them, as if it had been damaged in battle. However, the sleeves covered my arms to the tip of my fingers and was tied at my collarbone.

I blinked at the necklace that appeared around my neck. It looked like a red amulet.

"The stone, it will be simpler this way," she explained to me. "Just decide when to hide what it is or not."

"Kind of like Stephen and the Time Stone. But wait, can you confirm you guys can't be used in…"

"In another universe that our own? We're mere rocks." I grinned. "That being said, you'll need to succeed in sending him here and you can't face him alone because you won't be able to use me either." I nodded.

"Noted."

"Well then, good luck." I took a deep breath and fell through the ground.

I landed smoothly and looked around before stopping when I noticed the huge black ships. I scanned the area.

I came in the middle of the fight in Wakanda. Thor had arrived already, and there was Steve, Natasha, James, Sam, Doc, Rhodey…

I paled. Wanda. Pietro was too far and she was against Thanos, d…

She was destroying the Mind Stone, and Vision with it.

I took a deep breath.

As Tony said in Sokovia: Avengers, time to work for a living.

I took off. However, as I got closer, I was suddenly back after a wave of green energy. I cursed under my breath. Or Stephen died, or he gave him the Time Stone for some reasons, but in any case he faced Thanos and lost.

When I landed it was to see Vision lifeless body fall to the ground, the Mind Stone now between Thanos' fingers. However, it was barely in the gauntlet that the red stone on it blew up. Thanos looked at it, confused and I walked in the open.

"Reality is disappointing quite often, isn't it?" I asked him. He looked at me, like Wanda.

"Addison?" she mumbled under her breath. I shot her a look, then Vis, then her again.

"Sorry I'm late."

"You are dead, I killed you," Thanos sneered at me. I raised a brow, the Reality Stone shining against my skin.

"Did you though? I'm here, alive."

"Humans can't handle this stone, nor its powers."

"Unless if before they get the stone, their already existing powers are impacted by its cosmic energy, making their powers and cells evolve to the point where they can handle having the Reality Stone in their body." I smirked. "You could have killed two birds with one stone on the Statesman and you only got the Space Stone."

"How did you fool me human?" I pointed at the green stone.

"The guy who had this one? He's my teacher. I just...made a replica with the stone's signature and some of its power and hid the real one's signature." Dark red circles appeared around my wrists. It wasn't me though.

It was the Stone.

Thanos tried to use the Time Stone on me, but nothing.

Oh. The Reality Stone was setting its own small-scale reality around me. It would protect me while it could.

I needed to get the Time Stone back, it was the most annoying one.

I took a step back when he bared his teeth at me.

"I'm going to take it."

"How exactly?"

"I'll figure it out. By dissecting your dead body!" He shot a beam of energy, the Mind Stone, at me. I turned it into dark matter thanks to the Reality Stone and turned it back at him. He destroyed it with the Power Stone.

I ran away when he started running after me. He got sick of it quickly and appeared in front of me. I just had the time to make a portal underneath my feet to land behind him.

I couldn't read his mind. It was annoying.

It was annoying that when I tried to use the Reality Stone on him, the other Stones countered it. Instead, I created dark matter ropes from the ground to immobilize him. Before I could try anything else, he roared and a purple wave of energy knocked me back and sent me flying through two trees. My dark matter was destroyed.

I sniffed, getting up with a hand on my ribs and wiped the blood from my nose. I blinked at the black hole he sent my way. I turned it to sand and the red circles around my wrists were gone.

Shit, my poor little protection.

I gritted my teeth. Before he could clench his fist again, I used my telekinesis to stop him and lifted him from the ground, clenching my fist to constrict him more and more. He still managed to use the space stone and sent me in the air before trying to crash me on the ground. I broke my fall though and we were both of the ground.

He shot me again with the Mind Stone and I made a magic shield. The Reality Stone warmed up against my skin and shone bright, the energy touching my shield slowly turning black and red.

It was turning its energy into energy for me. Thanos realized it and stopped it before it could reach him or the gauntlet.

Thanos used the Space Stone to pull me to him. I blinked and conjured Cap's shield. Thanos's fist collided with it and it sent me back to the ground harshly. As Thanos seemed to love treating me like a rag doll, he pulled me back to him again and had my neck in his hand. He looked at the stone, only for it to be gone.

"It's like...a metaphor…" He tried to squeeze but my adaptability was back, handling the pressure.

I pursed my lips and used my telekinesis to block the hand with the gauntlet with one hand. With the other, I focused my magic on the Time Stone. Thanos noticed and tried to use the stones, but I kept doing it until I felt my magic separating the stone from the gauntlet.

Then it vanished in a dark red light.

"You little…" I blinked when I felt him overpowering me. "I'll kill you as many times as necessary!"

"You...try…" I was choking.

However, something flew between us, which made him let go of me. I immediately put some distance between us and looked at the object.

I grinned at seeing Mjolnir, but not with Thor.

"For a second you had me thinking I was the last Avenger standing," I told Steve. He was panting, exhausted and bleeding, but the hammer looked good in his hand.

I pulled the shield back to me as Steve walked up to me, Thanos observing us.

"I was told you were dead," he replied, taking my hand to pull me on my feet.

"Yeah well, so was Thor I bet." He nodded, looking at me up and down. "Here, by the way." He removed his 'shield' and accepted his regular one.

"Thanks." He looked at Thanos. "So, Wanda told me that…"

"I have an Infinity Stone yeah, where's Thor?"

"Taking care of his army." I pursed my lips and looked up.

"We need back-up and fast."

"Until then…" I nodded. "You can't fall."

"I sure can't." It was us against Thanos right now.

I really hoped Strange was alive, because I needed him with the Time Stone honestly.

As Steve used the protection spell around him as much as he could, I was sending energy blasts at Thanos, giving Steve extra protection when I'd see he needed it. When I saw him about to use the Space Stone again, I pulled Steve out of here and turned the ground beneath his feet in lava. Once Steve next to me, I used my other hand to add gravity around him. He groaned in pain and used the gauntlet to stop me.

His legs were burned though.

"You got a big power boost," Steve noted, panting.

"And you got a beard," I replied. He handed me his shield.

He hit Mjolnir on it, sending a lightning blast in Thanos' attack.

Angry, the Mad Titan aimed the Power Stone to the ground, shattering it. I fell in a crevasse, Steve catching my hand just in time. However, Thanos punched him in the face and I fell. As I used magic to fly to safety, I saw Thanos, lifting Steve in the air with just his head in his hand.

I froze when I saw the Power Stone shining.

"NO!" Thor barely made it through that!

"Hey, are you the emergency?" I blinked and looked behind me, like Thanos. The woman looked at me. "Move." I nodded and took off as she shot a powerful energy blast at Thanos, sending him meters away.

I landed next to Steve, pulling him in a sitting position.

"Hey, are you okay?" He gulped, nodding.

"Yeah...yeah I think." He looked at the woman, apparently absorbing the energy of the gauntlet as she stopped it. "Who's that?"

"Back-up. One of Fury's old friend."

"That's nice back-up." I nodded and pulled him on his feet.

"Can you still fight?"

"Yeah. Yeah I think." Thor landed behind us. I put Steve's arm on my shoulder.

"Carol Danvers, pretty powerful, think you got this?" Thor nodded and called Mjolnir to his hand, waving it at me.

"Good job." I flew away with Steve.

There was something.

I landed next to Wong.

"Addison!?" I raised a brow at Doc.

"Hulkbuster?" And missing an arm. "Steve started to get the Power Stone treatment to his head. Thor and Danvers are there."

"He should be here soon."

"He better be, I didn't almost choke to death to get his stone back for nothing." I pondered over it for a second. "Why do I always get choked by bad guys? I mean Ultron, then Thanos…"

"Maybe later," Steve groaned, sitting on the ground.

I knelt next to him, the book opened. He looked at it appearing in thin air, then me.

"A lot has happened since we last saw each other."

"No kidding," he replied sarcastically as I found a healing spell. His face relaxed slowly as a portal was opened behind us.

"You've taken a liking to the book I see," Stephen said, looking at Steve up and down.

"You let me keep it for a reason, didn't you?" I replied without looking at him, conjuring the Time Stone with my hand. "Keep it in your necklace this time." He took it.

"It was part of the plan."

"I'm sure," I said, standing up and shooting him a quick glare. "And I have a lot to say regarding your pla...Tony!?" He walked through the portal, supported by Spider-Man.

"Addie?" he replied weakly. I hurried to him and looked at his wound.

"Shit, it's deep." I started doing the same spell. "It's fine, I can fix this." The sound of the battle was still reaching my ears, but I was solely focused on healing my godfather. "Here, it should be enough for now."

I was in a tight embrace.

"I thought that…"

"I know."

"He said that…" I pulled him back a little.

"I know, I know Tony, sorry," I apologized, seeing his watery eyes. He was in shocked and processing, so I gave him a closer look. "Shit, your suit...and you worked so hard on that nano tech." I barely noticed the others with him, apart from Spidey.

"I can take of that." With a quick move of the Time Stone, Tony's suit was as good as new. I shoot Stephen a quick look, and let the Reality Stone show.

"Thanks." He nodded at me.

"I know what your plan is, but we need to regroup while they are keeping him occupied."

"You mean Thor and Danvers won't be enough?" Steve asked him.

"Who?" Doc said.

"I don't think too many people in there will be good though," I told my teacher. "I don't even know how it will be."

"The team was made in New York." I blinked and took a deep breath.

"Yeah, makes sense I guess."

"What are you talking about? Are you saying I can't kill the fucker?" A man said aggressively.

"Quill, you've messed up so now just shut up," Tony replied tiredly. He looked at Steve. "Is the whole gang here?" Steve nodded.

"Even Clint and Scott." I nodded to myself.

Thanks T'Challa.

"Wong, get the others. We are going back to where Thor is," Strange told Wong, who nodded.

"What's the plan then?" Peter asked.

"We need to get the Stones away from Thanos," Stephen replied, "but it's not just that easy like we saw before."

"I doubt we could just cut his arm off either, the stones won't let us," I added. "Which is why we need to get him somewhere where the stones are useless."

"And what kind of place would that be?" Quill inquired.

"A pocket dimension I have access to thanks to the Reality Stone."

I deadpanned when I saw Supergiant hovering over Thor and used an energy beam to send her away.

She was supposed to be dead!

"Insects will remain insects!" Thanos roared, getting rid of Carol, who got up immediately.

I looked behind when I heard something. I gulped, recognizing the big aliens from New York.

"Danvers," Steve said. "Do you think…"

"Can you handle him?"

"We'll do our best." She nodded and left to take care of those things.

"Alright Guardians, we're back at it!" Quill yelled, going back into actions.

"Spidey." He looked at me. "Or you go back to the huge amount of low life back there with the Wakanda army, or you stay here and we'll work together." Quill made a comment regarding Thor's weapon as 'not that impressing'.

"He's going to the army," Tony stated immediately.

"But…"

"Do no make me repeat myself!" After a second he obeyed.

I took Steve's earpiece and put it in my ear.

"Alright Avengers, get your asses over there because right now, it's only Thor, Steve, Tony and I who represent the team and you would look bad if we beat the bad guy without you. Well, we've got some...Guardians of the Galaxy I guess, and Strange, but we have two Stones because I stole back the Time Stone from Thanos, so we're still targets. Get here soon."

"Geez, you go in space to get killed and act all bossy when you come back Addie, that's mean." I smiled to myself.

"I missed you too Sam."

"You all better stay alive until we get there," Natasha stated firmly.

"'course." I gave Steve his earpiece back.

We joined the fight, sometimes overwhelming Thanos before he used the stones to blast us away. He clenched his fist, the Power Stone shining, as the huge black structure or ship started to crumble.

"He's going to send that to us, he did it with a moon on me earlier," Tony warned us. I shot him a crazy look.

"You got a moon thrown at you!?" He shrugged.

"Incoming!"

"Thor, keep fighting, I've got this!" Thanos heard it as the Reality shone bright and tried to attack me.

Tony and Steve took care of it and the pieces of the ship were turned into butterflies. They exchanged a look, then looked at me. I shrugged.

"Butterflies are easy," I said nonchalantly. I gulped when I saw Stephen being thrown away. "Alright, I'm gonna change the field."

"You're pissed because I had a moon thrown at me but you got an Infinity Stone so really…"

"Maybe later the scolding," Steve suggested when he saw me open my mouth. I nodded.

I moved my hands in front of the stone, draining some of its power and raised my hands. The ground broke in a circle, pillars raising from the ground, like rocks. I kept the sky clear though.

I just made a field where Natasha and Clint could use as many of their skills as they could. They were the two missing ones.

I would change Thanos' attacks as much as I could into inoffensive ones, pissing Thanos off. Strange would turn back time before Thanos could attack to land hits on him.

The thing was, his behavior, tactics had changed. Before, he just wanted the stones.

Now, we pissed him off enough for him to just want us plain dead, except maybe for Stephen and I. I went on top of a stone pillar to have a better look on what was happening and looked behind myself when I heard Clint's thoughts.

I made an illusion of myself who joined the fight and fell backward in a portal. I landed smoothly in front of them.

"Hi," I greeted them awkwardly.

"After going to space to get a shiny stone, you better come up with better than 'hi'," Clint greeted me back.

"Sure, let's catch up later when no one is threatening the universe." I looked at him, then Natasha. "It's painless I swear." They didn't have the time to react that I had used healing spells on each of them.

"...thanks," Natasha thanked me slowly in shock.

"You're welcome. You two with me back there. The others, you're going back to fighting the others."

"Do you have a solid plan?" T'Challa asked me.

"Send Thanos where the Infinity Stones are just colorful rocks, but I can't guarantee sending too many people there."

"We're going with the original six," Clint figured out. I nodded. "And you. Well you were a part of the initiative after all." I shrugged.

"Once in there we get the stones back," Natasha finished.

"Yup. Steve's already got his shield back and lifted Mjolnir when Thanos almost choked me to death earlier." I shot Wong a look. "Can I trust you with going back there? Carol's doing the heavy lifting anyway." He nodded. "Thanks." I made a portal next to me. Sam opened his mouth but nothing came out. "After you."

"You don't see someone for two years and suddenly they graduated from Hogwarts," Clint muttered, walking past me. Natasha hit his shoulder and I walked after them, closing the portal behind us.

"I hope I did you justice," I told them.

"Hiding spots and high spots? Pretty good," Natasha complimented me before Tony crashed in a rock next to us. He got up and looked at them.

"Hey guys." The two spies just looked at him, blatant emotions on their faces.

"Hey man," Clint greeted him back quietly.

"Time to work for a living then." Nat smiled to herself and nodded.

When I caught Stephen's attention, I nodded at him, telling him it was time for him to get the Guardians away from here. Clint surprised me by having Pym particles arrows, and it surprised Thanos too, enough for Thor to send him flying in a pillar and destroying it. I stretched out my hand to melt him in the rocks.

"Stephen!"

"On it!" Each Guardian fell in a portal. "Good luck Avengers." He was gone too.

I took a deep breath and focused my magic and the stone. The air was split by dark red energy and swallowed us all. I looked up. No wormholes but a reddish sky, the red sand feeling very grainy under my soles.

"Where are we?" Nat asked me.

"In the Reality's Stone pocket dimension. He can't use the stones, but neither can I." Thanos stood up and looked around himself. Hearing me, he clenched his fist but nothing.

I breathed out slowly. Good.

We regrouped, Steve in front of us. He looked at all of us, then Thanos.

"Avengers." I gulped with apprehension. "Assemble."
