No I did not abandon this story, if anyone is still reading this or still cares here is the long awaited update.
Neru's pov
"We have a guest room you can stay in Neru," said Rin and Len's cheerful mom Lenka.
My parents didn't disown me but they did kick me out once I got out of the hospital so Rin and Len offered for me to stay here.
Lenka had Rin and Len when she was a teenager so she seems to understand how I must feel.
I walked into the guest room and put my suitcase on the bed.
I was so mad when I left that I just packed one small suitcase with the essentials, Nero is going to bring over the rest of my stuff over once my parents leave town next week.
I heard a knock at my door, "Come in!"
It was Rin.
"I know this room isn't much but I hope you like it," said Rin sitting on the bed.
"I like it, it's cozy," I said sitting next to her.
The room was pretty small. There was a single bed, a closet and a small study desk by the door. I can't complain though since it's a place to live.
"I think I might get rid of the study desk and replace it with a crib once we find out what gender the baby is," I said to Rin.
"That's not for another 4 months," said Rin.
I keep forgetting I have been pregnant for almost a month now, it's starting to show.
"You and Len thought of any names?" asked Rin.
"No, and he hasn't said a word to me since I got here," I said.
"He just feels bad about you getting kicked out, he feels like it's his fault," said Rin.
"Well it's stupid, if it's anyone's fault it's my parents fault for getting so mad about it! I hate them and they hate me," I said.
"You shouldn't be mad at them, deep down they do care," said Lenka standing at the door.
"When I was pregnant with Rin and Len my parents kicked me out too and we didn't speak to each other until the twins were born. They came to the hospital and fell in love with them and we made up," said Lenka.
"My parents aren't a lot like that, they haven't been around for most of my childhood so they haven't developed much of a love for me," I said.
"I bet they love you deep down or otherwise they wouldn't have come to the hospital to see you," said Lenka.
I think it would have been better if they didn't come.
"Anyway I'm going to get some take-out for dinner, that okay?" asked Lenka.
"Yeah," Rin and I replied.
She left and a flopped back onto the bed.
"Our dad is out of town a lot too so I kind of know how you feel but I can't really comfort you," said Rin.
"Thank you for trying," I said getting up and heading to the door.
"Where you going?" asked Rin.
"I'm gonna go try to talk to Len," I said as I walked out
I walked across the hall to Lens door; once I got to it I knocked.
"Who is it?" He asked.
"Neru," I said.
He didn't say anything.
"I'm coming in you better not be naked," I said opening the door
He was lying on his bed, he was on his laptop, and he had his headphones in.
I sat at the end of the bed; I'm not talking to him. He is going to stop being a stubborn child and man up so we can talk.
After a while Len finally turned off his computer and looked at me.
"Anything you need dear?" he asked sarcastically.
"You never call me dear," I said a bit jokingly.
"Why are you in here?" He asked more serious this time.
"You have been avoiding me ever since I got out of the hospital," I said getting closer to him.
"I just feel bad about all of this," he answered.
"You shouldn't be, none of this is your fault," I told him as I scooted right next to him.
"I know but at the time something in my head keeps saying 'This is all your fault Len, You did this to Neru, you are such a fool, Neru deserves better'" he said getting up and pacing a bit.
I stood up and stopped him.
"None of that stuff is true, and the only thing that could make you a fool is you believing those lies," I told him.
"Oh you're right," he said sighing.
"But maybe you do deserve better," he said releasing form my grip.
"Don't say that!" I said reaching for him hand.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" he swatted me away and a fell over.
He just looked down at me, he was mad but not at me, he was mad at himself.
"Len," I said tears in my eyes.
Fuck these pregnant people hormones.
He just looked at me, and then walked out.
I curled into a ball and cried.
I hate feeling stupid and weak and all that other shit.
Can this whole thing just be over?
Then somebody tapped my shoulder.
I looked up, Len was holding up an ice cream bar, and then he smiled at me.
I hugged him and cried.
"I'm sorry Neru," he said.
"It's okay, just don't upset me while I'm pregnant," I told him.
Then we ate our ice cream sandwiches and watched videos until his mom came back with dinner.
After dinner I went back to my room so I could get some of the work I missed out on while I was in a hospital.
Afterwards Lenka came in.
"Can I show you something Neru?" she asked.
"Yeah," I said.
She sat on my bed and invited me to join her.
He had a yellow book with a stork on the cover; on the front it said Rin and Len Baby Book.
She was showing me pictures of Rin and Len as babies and she was telling me stories.
"You were probably wondering why I showed you this," she said.
"I was a bit curious," I said.
"Well Rin told me you were upset that Len wasn't talking to you, even though I guess he is now. Rinto and I had some problems too during the whole things and there were times I didn't even want Rin and Len. But after I had them I fell in love with them and realized it was all worth it," said Lenka.
"Thanks, you cheered me up," I told her.
"I have something to give you," she said.
She handed me a book, it was orange and it had a teddy bear on the front.
"When you have your child you can take millions of pictures of it like I did and put them in this book," she said with a smile.
"Thank you," I hugged her.
"How can I repay you for all you've done?" I asked.
"Just keep you and that baby safe," she said getting up.
"It's late, you go back to school tomorrow so you should probably go to bed," said Lenka.
"Alright, good night," I told her.
"Good night," she closed the door on me.
I threw on the tee shirt Len gave me after we had sex.
I set the baby book on my desk and I just kind of looked at it for a minute.
I almost wanted to cry but I held back my hormone induced tears.
I may not be happy know but Lenka is probably right, in the end it will be all worth it.
This wasn't a sucky as the last chapter yay!
Anyway I will probably do a 4 month time skip s we can find out the gender
