Hey, everybody. Sorry it took so long to get this up, but with my level of homework winding down now, I should be able to update more often.

So, for those who may be wondering, Caitlin is actually the only member of Team Flash, and really the only Arrowverse character besides Barry and Patty, who knows Patty is pregnant. The reason being is that it helps with some of the plot of the early chapters, and the in story reason will be explained in this chapter.

Let's get to it.

XWF1000: Some people may disagree with me, but I don't think Iris is that crazy.

Guest: Not sure about HR. Not sure if I'll ever even mention Lex Luthor in this story.

Guest 2.0: I probably will include a funeral scene for Oliver in Chapter 4 or 5.

Chapter 3- A Happy Day

Barry feels the sunshine hitting his face and opens his eyes, staring up at the window and the sunlight shining through. He stares at the window for a moment before he feels something shift beside him. Smiling, Barry turns over in bed and sees Patty, still lying fast asleep on her back.

Barry smiles at her, just taken in by how beautiful she looks at that moment. Then, smiling more brightly he pulls back the blanket a bit and then pulls up her pajama shirt, revealing her growing belly.

Barry gently strokes Patty's belly. He leans in, putting his face close it, and begins to whisper, "Hey, you two. I don't know if you can hear me yet, but I want you to know how much I love you. I'm more grateful than words can express that Oliver gave me you two and your mother in this new life. I'm so excited to hear whether I'm going to have sons or daughters or one of both. I can't wait to finally see you and hold you in my arms. I love you both so much, and I can't wait to meet you." Barry then leans in and plants several kisses on Patty's belly.

After kissing her belly several times, Barry turns his head slightly, and sees that Patty is now awake and watching him with tears in her eyes.

"How long have you been watching me?" Barry asks.

"Since I felt your hand on my stomach. Your hands are cold," Patty says with an air of humor.

"Sorry," Barry says with a chuckle. He then asks more tenderly, "Why are you crying?"

"Because watching you talk to our unborn children is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen," Patty says, a few tears rolling down her cheeks.

Barry smiles at his wife as he slides up beside her. He then plants two quick kisses on her lips before saying, "And you pregnant with our children is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." A few more tears roll down Patty's cheeks and she pulls him in for a more passionate kiss.

The two lie there, kissing more and more passionately. Finally, Barry pulls away and says, "If we don't get up and start getting ready, we're gonna spend hours in bed and miss the doctor's appointment."

"Maybe we should just reschedule," Patty whispers mischievously, kissing Barry again.

"You know it would probably take a few weeks to do that," Barry sighs.

Patty sighs, but smiles and props herself up in bed. "Alright. But you owe me some private time later," she says.

"Deal," Barry says with a chuckle.

Barry then leaps out of bed and speeds around the room, getting dressed for the day before speeding downstairs to start preparing breakfast. Only a few seconds after Barry finishes and sets the table, Patty comes walking down in loose pants and a blue maternity shirt.

Patty smiles. "Thanks, babe. You know how much I love your cooking," she says before sitting down to eat with Barry.

It doesn't take them long to finish eating, with Barry already eating faster than a normal person and Patty hungrier than usual since she's eating for three.

Finally, breakfast is done, and Barry cleans the dishes in a few seconds. Once he's finished, Barry turns to Patty and says, "I wish I could just run us to the doctor's office."

"I know. But it's not safe for the twins, or me while I'm still carrying them," Patty says. She smiles and says, "That's one of the things I'm looking forward to once the twins are born. I can't wait to feel that rush of you carrying me places at super speed again."

Barry smiles and says, "Well, don't be too eager. We need these two to keep growing for a few more months yet," rubbing her belly as he says this.

"Alright. We gotta get going or we're going to miss the appointment," Patty says.

Barry smiles at her. "Well, follow me, my lady," he says in a jokingly formal tone. Patty laughs in return, but slinks her arm through the crook of Barry's, and the two walk out of their house and head out to their car.

(Central City)

"So, one of my detectives brought me this information. There's been several robberies lately here in Central City that have been very confusing for the police. There have been several secured rooms or vaults that have been broken into, with relatively small amounts stolen. We finally managed to capture one of these robberies on a security camera," Joe says, holding up a flash drive.

"Well, let's see what we're dealing with here," Cisco says. He takes the flash drive from Joe and plugs it into the computers.

After a moment, Cisco pulls up the video feed. As the team watches, they see a man approach the door to a vault. Then, as they watch, he suddenly shrinks out of sight. A minute or two later, he suddenly grows back to normal size.

"So, he's shrinking to allow himself to get into sealed places. He must only be stealing whatever he can fit on his person so he can shrink it with him," Cisco says.

"Is there any way to track him?" Joe asks.

"Other than facial recognition, I don't know if his powers create any way we can track him. It would probably be better to figure out how his powers work. There's a couple explanations, but we'd probably have to see him in action up close," Caitlin says.

"Alright. Get to work on it, and I'll set some officers to work on trying to track him down. See where he's operating from," Joe says.

Suddenly, they hear footsteps behind them. Looking behind them, they see Iris walking into the cortex. She looks right at Joe and says, "Dad, can I talk to you for a moment? Alone?"

"Sure, baby," Joe says. He then walks out of the cortex with Iris, wondering what she could want.

As they walk a safe distance away from the cortex, Iris turns to Joe. "Dad, we need to find Barry. I'm gonna go to Midway City to find and talk to Barry, and I want you to come with me to help find him," she says.

"What are you talking about, Iris?" Joe demands.

"J'onn restored my memories. Barry and I were married in the original universe. We're the ones supposed to be together. I mean, surely Barry remembers we were married! He has to remember what we had! I need to go find him and bring him home," Iris insists.

Joe sighs. "Iris, just because you have memories of a different life doesn't mean this is how this life is supposed to go," Joe says placatingly.

"But dad, this universe is only the way it is because of what Oliver Queen did. Me and Barry are supposed to be together. I know that in this universe he's married to Patty, but if he remembers we were married, he has to know that we're meant for each other! He'll come back to me if he knows we both remember!" Iris says desperately.

Joe sighs, knowing that Iris is delusional, and also recognizing that with her lack of dating success after Eddie in this universe, and these new memories of a life with Barry, that she's going to do what she can to convince Barry to come back to her.

"Iris, you can't just do that. If Barry really does remember his life with you, and still hasn't come back by now, then there has to be a reason for it," Joe says.

"No, dad, you don't understand. Barry and I are meant to be together. He remembers that, even if its just deep down. I just have to remind him," Iris says.

"Iris, no. You're not married in this universe. You can't just go and try to get him back when he's married to someone else in this universe," Joe says, trying to placate her.

Iris looks at him angrily. "He's mine, dad! And I'm going to remind him of that!" she says before stomping off. Joe just sighs in response, knowing this isn't gonna be pretty, and it's probably going to take a conversation with Barry to snap her out of it.

(Midway City)

Barry smiles brightly as the doctor moves the wand of the ultrasound machine across Patty's belly. On the screen, he can see the image shifting, and he can see the shapes of both babies coming into view on the screen. Instantly, a massive feeling of love sweeps through him, as, to him, this is the first time ever seeing them.

"And there they are," the doctor says.

Patty beams and looks over at Barry, who has tears welling up in his eyes. "Amazing, isn't it," she says.

"Yes," Barry says softly.

"So, both babies look perfectly healthy and perfectly developed for this stage. And their heartbeat, as we already heard, is perfectly healthy. So…the one remaining question I have for you two. Do you want to know what the sexes are?" the doctor asks with a big smile on her face.

Barry and patty, without even need to look at each other, both happily nod in sync. The doctor smiles as she looks at them for a second longer before turning back to the screen. She shifts the wand a bit to get a better view of one of the babies, and a second later, she says, "Alright. I've got a good view, and right there…it looks like Baby A is…a girl!"

Patty gasps once from pure happiness, and then she and Barry look at each other, tears in their eyes. "A girl. We're gonna have a daughter, Barry," she says through tears.

"I know," Barry responds.

After a second, they look back at the doctor, who smiles and says, "Ready for the next one?" Both parents to be nod.

The doctor shifts the wand to focus on the second baby. After a few seconds, she says, "Alright…and it looks like…Baby B…is a boy! So you're gonna have one of each!"

It takes a second before Patty starts to cry from happiness. "That's exactly what I was hoping for!" she says with pure joy.

After a moment, she turns to Barry. "A son and a daughter," she says. Barry just nods and leans up to kiss her.

"Alright, both babies look healthy. I'm gonna schedule another ultrasound for you in four weeks," the doctor says.

Barry and Patty talk with the doctor, arranging their next appointment and discussing a few things Patty is going to need to do over the coming weeks as the babies keep growing to make sure she and the twins stay healthy. Then, finally, they are able to leave, both about bouncing up and down from happiness.

When they finally get into the car, both of them just embrace each other as they let the happy tears flow. It takes them a minute before they are able to pull back from each other and look at each other.

"This…it really feels more real than ever," Barry says.

"I know," Patty says. She smiles, then says, "I couldn't be more happy than I am now. I can't wait to spend the rest of our life with you and our son and daughter."

Barry just smiles at her and kisses her. As he pulls away, Patty says, "I think it's time to tell everyone else."

"Huh?" Barry asks, confused.

"Oh, right, I forgot you don't remember. Early on in my pregnancy, I had some complications and troubles that actually hospitalized me at one point. My doctors were afraid I was going to lose the babies, especially since I was more at risk because I was carrying twins. So, you and I both decided when I was about 9 weeks that we weren't going to tell anyone we didn't absolutely have to about the pregnancy until we had found out the genders, if the babies were still alive. We told Caitlin because we felt like we needed her medical expertise, especially since there's a good chance the twins will be born metahumans, and we told our coworkers and bosses at the precinct, but we haven't told anyone else, even my mom, your dad, or Joe," Patty says.

"Okay. I understand that. But yeah, I think it's time we tell everyone else. We're gonna be parents!" Barry says excitedly, his excitement spilling over, and he kisses Patty again.

And, I'll end there. Hope you liked this chapter.

So, obviously, Iris is a bit delusional about Barry coming back to her, but it won't last forever. She's gonna have a severe reality check that's gonna force her to come to terms with it.

So, it's a official. A boy and a girl. They'll be born around the end of the story.

Next chapter should be up fairly soon. Until then, please leave a review, and stay tuned!
