Hey guys! So this chapter is kinda vague on Water 7, mostly because I haven't read or watched it in a while and I've changed a few things since I've been rewriting this anyways! I know it's been a long time since I last updated, but I'm working on the next chapter so it shouldn't be too long til the next update! Enjoy!

Zoro has started me on regular training with him, sometimes we fight, some days he drills me on different techniques for my Devil Fruit or we lift weights, it's much more intensive than anything I've ever done before. Ever since Chopper announced I've made a full recovery Zoro has kept me very busy. When we go off on islands he demands I stay with him and that I do not under any circumstance stray from him.

While training with Zoro is exhausting it isn't giving me the needed break from the nightmares, the memories or the thoughts that swarm freely in my head at night when I'm supposed to be resting.

"You'll be with Chopper today." Zoro says when I come to join him as I usually do. I frown partly from confusion, but also from the tone Zoro's taken. It isn't his usual rough and final tone, this one is just slightly softer. "You're not resting well, Nami and Robin are concerned you're pushing yourself too hard." He says simply walking off as Chopper comes to join us. "Oi, make sure you get it settled." He calls over to us as he does his own training.

Chopper lets out a sigh as he nudges me slightly. "We're all worried." Chopper says calmly as I follow him to the rarely empty galley. "You've been different since Belle Neige." The small reindeer says hesitantly.

"A lot happened." I say quietly not wanting to talk about any of it; I've kept my mouth shut about how Zoro found me and the events that led up to it. "I'm not sure what Zoro is expecting from this." I say as I take a seat.

"Nami mentioned that your sleep has been restless the last few weeks." Chopper says opting to start. "I still have nightmares from when I was on Drum Island." Chopper confesses quietly.

I glance at the table, I'm unsure what to say, I'm unsure how to tell anyone about the things that happened to me, that the nightmares, that all of it wasn't just some bad dream, that for a long time it was real. "They're just nightmares," I whisper trying to convince myself. "

Chopper lets out a long sigh. "For now I can give you something to stop them, but it isn't really a solution Azami." Chopper says pulling out a few mixing bowls, medicine and herbs from around the kitchen, "This should let you sleep and get some real rest, just take it before you go to bed every night." Chopper explains as he mixes several ingredients all together.

I sit silently for a moment before I chose to say something. "How do you move on from something that's left you scarred, torn apart and changed so much that you can hardly recognize yourself?" I ask Chopper quietly.

Chopper doesn't say anything for a moment and I think he might not have an insight, "You start believing in something better; put your faith in something better." Chopper answers simply. "Luffy may seem strange and silly, but he's strong and believes in all of us. We all believe in each other and that helps."

I stare at the little reindeer for a moment, "Thank you Chopper." I say simply. While the words mean a lot to me, they aren't quite true. I'm still struggling to believe that I won't end back up in Mariejois as a slave. The thought sends a chill through me. The idea of this still being a possibility terrifies me.

"Azami, why don't you go lay down, you're looking ragged." Chopper says while walking me out and then down to the girls' quarters. "Drink this; it'll take the nightmares away." I do as I'm told and take the medicine.

By the time I wake up it is dark and a whole lot of commotion going on outside, lots of shouting, things exploding or breaking, and then it's quiet, it isn't until a very serious Zoro comes into the room and picks me up that I realize the room is stripped of all of mine, Nami's and even Robin's things.

I fight to stay away as I try to process what exactly is going on as we all leave the ship. "She's trying to wake up." Nami says quietly as I squirm a little, not that Zoro is really paying attention to me. "Chopper what did you give her?" She asks worriedly.

I hear Chopper give a very grave sigh. "She's still tired, Azami," Chopper says addressing me this time. "Just rest, it'll be okay." He says soothingly. "It isn't what I gave her; the medicine wasn't to make her sleep." Chopper says offhandedly. "Azami needs the rest." He says simply. It's at this point that I really can't stay awake anymore, I fall into a restful and dreamless sleep.

...

I wake up to a very serious atmosphere, Zoro watches as I get up from the bed. "Azami, let's go for a walk." He says quietly. I simply nod my head following behind. I glance at the others, everyone looking upset, sad, and utterly hopeless. "We'll go ahead of everyone." Zoro says to Nami, she simply nods her head not even bothering to ask where exactly we're going.

As soon as we're in the streets Zoro nods for me to follow towards less crowded places. "Where are we?" I ask looking around a bit curiously. I'd been asleep when we docked on whatever island it is that we're on.

"Water 7, Azami," Zoro says as though preparing me for something. "Things aren't looking good. Robin is missing and Usopp, he left the crew last night."

I stop walking and watch Zoro carefully. "What happened?" I ask frowning. I've grown rather fond of the whole entire crew. It upsets me to hear about them in this state and so quickly. "How long was I asleep?"

Zoro shakes his head and lets out a heavy sigh. "A couple days, Chopper said that you were just recovering from the lack of sleep and the combination of training with what happened on Belle Neige."

I bite my lip, I look around worriedly. "So what do we do now?" I ask quietly, I look around the city, people are running everywhere in a frenzy, they seem to become even more frantic as this loud siren goes off. I look to Zoro worriedly.

"We're looking for Robin; we can regroup with the other later." Zoro says seriously as he looks around with me following behind.

As we enter a back alley I notice the stares on us, "Zoro," I mutter walking closer to him, "They're eyeing us." I murmur as the people I'd notice close in on us.

"You're with the Straw Hats, right?" This guy asks us in a rather unfriendly sort of way. "That group of pirates that just docked here, right?" He presses as I push myself closer to Zoro.

Zoro simply glares at the guy. "And?" He asks in an annoyed tone, the kind I've found he uses to get people to back off. "You've already seemed to have made your minds up." Zoro says moving a hand to one of his swords.

I look around and quickly realize that while Zoro can handle this number of people on his own no problem, I rather not have whatever is angering them about us flare up even more. I will a thick mist to fill up the small area. "Let's go," I mutter pull on Zoro's arm through people.

As we take another turn, with me becoming increasingly concerned with every step we take with Zoro leading the way.

"What's with these people?" Zoro mutters as we hide under a bridge from them, I'm clinging on tightly to Zoro as I eye the water. "And then this thing about some water tide." He mutters while shaking his head.

"Perhaps the best choice would be to regroup with the others and figure out what exactly is going on." I say as Zoro climbs back onto the bridge after the angry mob has passed.
