Welcome, to the 2013 Accidental Gokaiger Christmas Special. Ok yes I know it's very late, so late that it's not even 2013 anymore, but I have been mondo busy. I work two jobs and both of them are in the restaurant industry, and this is one of our busiest times of the year.

December 23rd,
Tokyo, Japan 1:12 pm
Rachel grunted as GoZyuRex took another blow from a giant Suogomin, stumbling back before swinging around and striking it with the drill of tail of her mecha. Another Sugomin was blasted by GokaiRobo's missile launcher.
The crew had been in the middle of breakfast when they detected a large Zangyack attack. She and Sean broke off to go after the giant enemies in their mecha while the others went after the gomin, but it turned out that a larger then usual force was sent out.
"Want to combine and give them what for?" Sean asked as he ducked under a punch and kicked the Sugomin.
"Negative, I can handle it, why don't you go help the others?" She suggested.
"If your sure, then I'll let you handle it." Sean said as he got up and ran out of the room, leaping out of the GokaiRobo and landing next to the other five Gokaiger, who were currently fighting the gormin as OhRanger. Grabbing a Gormin's arm and tossing it over his shoulder, Sean spun shooting at some more before getting up and slashing at one trying to hit Tommy from behind.
"Hey, miss getting your hands dirty down here?" Crystal asked as she used OhYellow's twin batons, fighting off a group of gormin that were attempting to overwhelm her.
"It looked like you guys were having trouble, so I came to help." Sean said. Kyle blocked a strike from a club with his forearm and stabbed it with his Star Riser Sword, turning around and looking over at him.
"Yeah, you might not want to stand there." Kyle told the black ranger, pointing off to the side. Sean looked over and saw a group of gormin rockets heading at him. Letting out a yell of surprise, Sean leapt out of the way and dodged the rockets, allowing the pirated OhRangers to launch a finishing blow.
The five got together and ran at the remaining gormin at the same time, leaping into the air and spinning around and launching themselves as a giant golden ball.
Super-Power Dynamite Attack
The OhRanger finishing attack destroyed the remaining gormin, but left the five open to an attack by a hidden Action Commander. They were blasted with several energy lightning bolts, sending them flying back, changing them back into gokaiger.
This particular action commander was quite strange looking. And that's not easy to say. It's skin appeared to be cyan, while it's armor was bright lime green with purple trim.
"Ahaha, you fools. While you've fighting the Gormin, you've just been getting tired. Now your all at the brink of exhaustion and- ahgh" The rest of his words were cut off when the six got tired of him talking, and listening to his accent, while oddly sounded like a mix between Australian and Scottish with a lisp, so they started shooting at him. Quite a lot actually.
After they finally stopped Sean looked at his gun.
"Anyone else wonder where the ammo for these things comes from? No, just me? Ok."
The action commander slowly got to his feet, ticked off if the throbbing vein in his head was any indication.
"You lowly creatures, you are not fit to even talk to me. I am a warrior so far above you. I AM- what?" Hearing something behind him, the fashion challenged AC turned and saw that one of the giant Sugomin had gotten a lucky hit on GoZyuRex, and the giant robot dinosaur was sent stumbling back.
"You've got to be kidding me." Was the last words of the still unnamed Action Commander as the foot of GoZyuRex came down and stomped on him as it tried to regain it's footing.
The six Gokaiger on the ground looked at each other, then at the foot of GoZyuRex.
"Wow, fail on his part." Tommy said.
"Why don't we do that more often?" Crystal asked.
"Where's the fun in that?" Kyle asked as they watched GoZyuRex finish off the final Sugomin, at which point they all went back aboard the Galleon.

The crew had barely started to unwind when Kyle came in holding a hat in his arm, and a bottle of rum in his hand.
"Everyone talk a piece of paper. We're doing secret Santa." Kyle said. Everyone looked at him.
"What, no clever word play into segue?" Rachel asked.
"I would but, but tomorrow is Christmas Eve, so I figure we better hurry this along." The red ranger explained, taking a swig of rum.
"How much of that have you had already?" Deion asked, concerned about his friends liver.
"Not nearly as much as I'm going to have. Rum is the new eggnog." He replied as he set the bottle down on the table and turned to the girls. Sean reached down, sliding the bottle down the table to Tommy, who took it into the kitchen to hide it.
The three girls each took out a piece of paper from the hat.
"Still, it's December 23rd already? What have we been doing?' Daisy asked as she looked at her name.
"Isn't it obvious? Saving the world." Sean replied with a grin as he reached over and took a name. Once everyone had taken a name Kyle reached in and took one, looking at it.
"Yes, exactly who I wanted to get." Kyle said as grabbed his coat, swinging it over his shoulders and sliding it on in his signature style, running out of the room. The others looked at him and reluctantly got up and decided to do their own shopping.

Sean was on the deck of the Galleon, practicing martial arts, and as he spun to deliver a punch, he was surprised that it was caught by Kyle, who was giving him an odd look.
"You did hear the part where Christmas Eve was tomorrow right?" Kyle asked him as he let go of the younger mans fist.
"Yeah I'm just getting some practice in real quick. What about you, shouldn't you be shopping?" Sean asked.
"I told you, I got the exact person I wanted. I'm just saying it's already 2 in the afternoon. Shops won't be open much longer."
"Ok ok, you convinced me. I'll go." Sean said, grabbing his coat and put it on.
"How can you be out here without wearing a jacket to begin with? Doesn't matter if it's December, we're 20,000 feet up." Kyle asked him.
"The Galleon has an energical sphere that creates an atmosphere relative to what we have on the ground." Sean told him.
"Really?"
"Yeah. Seriously at 20,000 feet people generally pass out, yet we perform complex martial arts at our daily training sessions. You know, when they aren't interrupted by monsters. Anyway, the sphere allows us to both breathe comfortably, and not freeze to death." Sean told him.
"You made the word "energical" up didn't you." Kyle asked, leaning on the edge of the Galleon, looking down as Sean joined him.
"Actually I think that was Tommy." Sean replied. Kyle chuckled and looked at the youngest member of the crew.
"So, got your stuff?" Sean pauses and pats his pockets.
"I've got my moribites, ranger keys, and my money. Yeah, I'm good. I guess I'll see you lat-AHHHHH!" his parting words were cut off when Kyle grabbed Sean and threw him over the edge of the Galleon.
"Finally, I thought he'd never leave."
Dusting off his hands, the red captain turned and went back inside into his cabin. Turning on his stereo and his TV, he jumped on his bed and watched old Dragnet episodes while NSync played. Growling he remembered that Crystal had borrowed his stereo the day before. Deciding that it would be too much effort to go change the CD and that he liked the song, he ignored it. Rolling over onto his stomach Kyle grabbed his remote and turned on the subtitles, watching his show for several minutes before he reached underneath his bed and took out a sword wrapped in cloth.
The sword looked much like the one used by the Red Ranger on the first season of Power Rangers, but with one difference. The dino-medal on the handle opened up to reveal a picture of Kyle, Tommy and Sam together. The sword had been a gift from Sam after he had gotten her a replica dragon dagger with the same photo.
Sighing, he rewrapped the sword and put it back under the bed. He hadn't gotten any new leads on Sam in a while.

Walz Gil marched into the bridge of the Gingant horse where his subordinates were waiting to hear his new scheme.
"I have a brilliant idea. We are coming to the human times known as "Christmas", where a fat red man gives peoples gifts. I want you to capture and bring this fat man to me, so that he may give me the gift of the planet."
Daramas, insarn, Barizorg, and Deltavron all looked at each other.
"Sir, I don't think that's-"
"Enough! I don't want to hear it. If the plan works, it works. If not, then it's not like we've wasted any real time." Walz Gil said.
"But your Excellency I think we should focus our efforts more on the pirates, rather than this "Santa Claus" the humans worship." Daramas told him.
"Barizorg. Smack the back of Daramas' head."
"Yes Boss."
"Wait what?" Smack
"Now if there is nothing else: Bring me Mr. Sandy Claws." Gil demanded before departing again, followed by Barizorg.
"It appears that His Excellency is determined to capture this "Claus" human." Insarn said. Delta tapped her chin and turned.
"I think I may be able to create a suitable creation for this mission. If nothing else I'll be able to collect more data on humans and the gokaiger." She said as she turned and walked out of the room and headed to her lab.

The next Day- (Christmas Eve)
The Tokyo Bay Mall was very busy, with last minute shopping and preparations for the holiday season. The long line to see Santa on the day before Christmas was impatient. One lady in particular seems very annoyed and decided to tell the man in front of her of her woes.
Not that Tommy could understand her. Turning around and looked at her for several seconds before turning back to the front of the line. This annoyed the lady even more and she continued to talk to him in Japanese.
"She wants to know what you're doing in line for Santakukoru." Rachel said as she walked over, looking at him amused.
"I'm waiting to see him of course." Tommy answered. Rachel raised an eyebrow.
"Aren't you a little old for that?" she asked. The blue ranger spun and pointed at her.
"You are never too old for Santakukoro!" Tommy said dramatically before smiling and putting his hands in his pockets. "Honestly I'm just here for the photo with Santa for my older sister."
"What do you mean?" she asked as she stood with him.
"Well, its part of a Christmas tradition that we always have a picture with Santa and it gets put in a photo-journal that we can have to show any kids we have. Anyway, my mom's really big on tradition and I told my sister I'd get a picture here and e-mail it to her tonight so we'll still have the photo." He explains to her. Rachel smiles as she listens.
"Your family really means a lot to you doesn't it?" She asks him.
"Well, yeah. I mean that's part of why I'm here, why all of us are here. If we don't fight, then our families will all be in danger from Zangyack."
"What about Kyle, Deion, Daisy and Sean? They don't have much family." Rachel reminded him.
"Daisy and Kyle both do, but they don't have much contact with their families. Deion's an orphan yes, and Sean has a family, though I'm pretty sure they're in whatever dimension is originally his own. It doesn't matter if they have families of their own anyway, they'll fight to protect them anyway."
"I remember Kyle once said that he'd invent a reason to fight this war if he had to."
"Well to be fair Kyle is…" Tommy tried to find the right word.
"Not right in the head?" Rachel finished.
"No, well yes, but not what I was meaning. Kyle is the kind of guy who would rather do everything himself then have someone else involved and risk them getting hurt. He knows he can't do this on his own, so he works with us, but most everything in his life he's tried to do by himself. We might phrase our answers differently, but in the end, we all fight because we want to protect people." Tommy explained. Rachel nodded and turned to walk away when they heard screams.
A strange creature, looking like a humanoid crystal wearing Santa like clothing, was stuffing the mall Santa into a giant sack, before laughing like….well evil Santa. Curiously, the sack didn't look any bigger now than it did before.
"Har Har Har! Lord Gil will be happy I'm bringing him his Christmas gift." The creature boasted. Rachel and Tommy blink, and then look at each other.
"You have got to be kidding." They both said at the same time before grabbing their moribites and ranger keys.
Gokai Change: Goookaiger
The two charged at their opponent and tried to fight him. But for a big guy he could move. Every strike they went for was either blocked or dodged. A big swing from his sack sent the two back.
"I'd love to stay and bring misery to you bad boys and girls, but I've got to dash, and blitz! Har Har Har!" he cackled as he took off.
"Great, we've one of those pun baddies this week." Tommy groaned as he and Rachel got up and ran after the creature.

Deion walked down the street with Crystal, having been talked into helping her with deciding what to get for her Daisy, her secret Santa. In return she would help him choose something for Sean, his secret Santa. As they walked down the street they saw a strange human crystal in Santa clothing and a big sack jumping down the street, being chased by Gokai Blue and Gokai Silver.
"You have got to be kidding me." They both said at the same time as the three leapt in their direction, the evil Santa look alike fighting off Tommy and Rachel effortlessly.
Flipping open their moribites, they ran to join the party.
Gokai Change: Goookaiger
Deion and crystal joined up in the roaming battle, trying to help Tommy and Rachel in fighting the psycho Santa thingy.
"What is that?" Crystal asked as she jumped over a car in chase.
"Not too sure, but he's got Santa Claus in his bag!" Tommy said as he slide under energy attacks.
"Wait, who's in the bag?" Deion asked, shooting ahead of him.
"Long story." Rachel assured him, using her trident to block a counter attack.

"I still can't believe it, he threw me right off!" Sean grumbled as he and Daisy walked out of a store. She had encountered the black ranger just after he had touched down from his "trip" down, and he had wasted no time in telling her what had happened. She sympathized with him, if he hadn't have transformed as quickly as he did there was a chance he could have passed out from falling from that height that quickly.
"There's no excuse for what he did. I'll talk to him when we get back, just don't let it rattle you too much." Daisy tried to assure him.
"Your right." He admitted as he looked into a window before asking. "Who's your secret Santa?"
"I'm not telling, it's called secret for a reason." Daisy said with a smile. Sean groaned and rolled his shoulders.
"Ok, fair enough, but can you help? I've got Rachel. Your both women, any ideas?" Sean asked.
"You're the one who talks to her the most." Daisy pointed out.
"Yeah, but we don't actually talk about us. We just, you know talk."
"You mean she talks; you say something every now and then to make it look like your paying attention while you hope she doesn't realize you're staring at her legs?" She teased.
"Ye-NO! No no, it's not like that. I mean- agh." Sean said as he became flustered, much to Daisy's amusement. Sean finally calmed himself down and gave her a hard glare. "Why? I mean, Kyle is plenty enough to handle, Deion and Tommy once in a while, but do you really need to join in and help them screw with me?"
"Because I don't want to feel left out of the fun." She giggled as they walked. As the two talked explosions were heard not far away. On instinct, the two spun around, keys turning in the moribites before they had fully turned around.
Gokai Change: Goookaiger
The two ran down the streets until the encountered their friends fighting a strange Santa monster with a huge sack over his shoulder. The six gokaiger regrouped and faced off against the action commander.
"Who are you and what do you want?" Deion demanded.
"I'm the Santa Slayer!" The AC told them. The six kind of tilted to the side, trying to determine if he was for real.
"That's the worst name for a villain I've ever heard. That's worse than a lot of Power Ranger names, and that's saying something." Sean said.
"Well, what do you know about monster names!?" Santa Slayer yelled at them.
"20 years of Power Rangers." Crystal said.
"47 years of the Ultra Series." Daisy said.
"42 years of Kamen Rider." Said Tommy.
"31 years of Metal heroes." Said Rachel.
"38 years of Super Sentai." Added Deion.
"Ok ok I get it. Sheesh. Every bodies a critic." Santa Slayer said as he rubbed his crystalline forehead.
"What are you up to?" Daisy asked, having only just arrived, not knowing what was going on.
"Lord Walz Gil had decided that the easiest way to conquer your world was to have this Santa man grant his wish." Santa Slayer replied. The six gokaiger just stood there.
"Who wants to take this?" Crystal asked.
"I might as well." Said Deion as he stood forward to try and tell their opponent the flaws in his plans.
"Where's Kyle?" Daisy asked as she and the others stood back, watching the show.
"I don't know. He should have been here by now. Tommy called him a bit ago." Rachel said.
"Wait, I thought you called him." Tommy said as he turned his head away from the goings on.
"Wait, so who actually called our fearless leader?" Sean asked. No one replied. The black ranger shook his head and opened his moribites, putting it to his helmet. "Yeah we've got an evil Santa monster…don't know, a little bit at least…" Sean held the moribites away from his head to avoid the shouting. "Yeah yeah just get down here." Sean hung up. "He's on his way."
"Ok dude, just do this, check the face of your Santa in there. He's wearing a beard on his face. He's not the real Santa. He's just a guy being paid a few bucks an hour to pretend to be Santa by the mall." Deion told him.
As Santa Slayer opened the bag, The Gokai Galleon began to approach and Kyle slide down a cable as he rapidly approached. The six Gokaiger all held up their hands, getting Slayer's attention before pointing behind him. Slayer stood there before turning around…..just in time.
"Boot to the Face!" Kyle yelled as his size 12 smashed into the Slayer's face, sending him rolling back. Kyle did a flip in mid-air and landed in front of the others, who were all holding up signs.
8.9, 9.2, 9, 9.6, 1, 8.8
Kyle glared at Sean, who had given him the lowest score.
"You mother-"
"CHRISTMAS!" Everyone shouted at him.
"Right, thank you. Now, where were we?" Kyle said, turning around.
"You got lucky Gokai Red, but you won't get lucky twice." Santa Slayer growled as he got to his feet.
"Oh wow, that is-"
"Already done it!" everyone told him.
"Right, so I should just?"
"Yep."
Gokai Change: GoooKaiger
"Gormin, get them!" Santa Slayer yelled as numerous gormin arrived, all wearing Christmas hats.
Kyle leapt into the fray, slashing at the gormin left and right before kicking one in the stomach, stomping on its back and striking a pose.
"Gokai Red!"
Tommy rolled over the back of a gormin, allowing it to take the attack before roundhouse kicking one away.
"Gokai Blue!"
Crystal twirled her swords, attaching them to cables and tossing them away from her, holding onto the cables as she imitated Luka's signature sword dancing style.
"Gokai Yellow!"
Deion jumped onto a car, punching one away before flipping backwards, using his hands to absorb the impact and propelling himself farther away, into a group of gormin.
"Gokai Green."
Daisy twirled her guns in her hands, curtsying before spinning around, pulling the trigger on her guns firing away at anything that came close.
"Gokai Pink!"
Sean danced away from the shots from Daisy's gun as he fought off gormin, before breaking into a run and jumping, wrapping his legs around the neck of a gormin and giving it a hurricanrana.
"Gokai Black!"
Rachel swung her trident in circles, creating a kill zone for any gormin foolish enough to get to close.
"Gokai Silver!"
The seven lined up and all struck poses as the gormin all fell and exploded.
"Pirate Sentai: GOKAIGER!"
"Since its Christmas, let's kick this up. Kyle, Deion your ranger keys if you please." Rachel asked, holding out her hands. The two held up their keys and tossed them over to her. She caught them in her hands and closed them together. "It's ready!" She said, pressing down on her buckle, taking out the new key.
However, Santa Slayer fired energy attacks at them, causing her to toss the key in the air and flip closed. Sean held out his moribites as the key slid into it perfectly.
"Gokai Change: Merry Christmas!"
Sean laughed and spun.
"It's that once a year, super magical change up: Gooookai Christmas!" Sean said.
"That was my change." Rachel moped.
"Don't worry. I've got an idea." Daisy said as she and Kyle both held up a ranger key, mimicked by Deion and Crystal. Tommy held up a ranger key and Rachel nodded, following suit.
Gokai Change: ZyuRanger
Kyle and Daisy, as TyrannoRanger and DragonRanger, both posed.
"ZyuRanger Christmas!
CarrrrrRanger
Deion and Crystal, as Green Racer and a skirted Red Racer, both spun their arms in the tradition of the 20th Sentai.
"CarrrrrRanger! Christmas!"
DekaRanger
Tommy, as DekaRed, and Rachel as a skirted DekaGreen, both held out their arms as if to warn him to stop.
"DekaRanger, Christmas!"
"Ok guys; let's make this a special show!" Kyle said as they charged.
Deion and Crystal, being the fastest, reached him first, nailing him with high speed strikes from their ViBlades before linking arms and clotheslineing SantaSlayer, sending him flying into Tommy and Rachel, who snapped off a double kick right to the face, sending him stumbling back. Tommy and Rachel kept the attack going with double elbows right to the face before grabbing the collar of his coat and pulling him, giving him a double monkey flip right into a water fountain.
Kyle and Daisy kept the offense going, working in tight unison together as they struck him with rapid punches and kicks. SantaSlayer tried to fight back by blasting them with lasers, but Daisy stood forward, using the DragonShield to absorb the attacks as Sean used her back as a stepping stone to send himself up and over the energy attacks, shooting him with his gun before using gravity to send him down, sword drawn and delivering a slash that cracked the crystal like body of SantaSlayer.
"Ok everyone, let's finish him off!" Kyle said they all readied their weapons.
Sentai Christmas Strike!
They launched a devastating attack, challenging the power of the Sentai through their weapons right at SantaSlayer, aggravating the cracks in his body and destroying him. Thankfully, the mall Santa hadn't been injured in all the commotion and quickly consoled the children who had been watching scared from the sidelines.
"Wow, guy was just a kidnap victim and there he goes being Santa Claus again. Now that is a guy dedicated to his job." Said Daisy with a smile after they had all changed back into gokaiger. However, the usual duo of purple lasers struck the defeated Zangyack creature and caused him to grow.
Kyle, Sean, and Rachel all took out their transformation devices and summoned their mecha.
Gokai Galleon

GoZyuDrill
As one, the seven leapt into the air, the main five grabbing the cables and boarding the Galleon while Sean and Rachel jumped onto their mecha's and climbed inside.
GokaiOh, GoZyuRex, and GokaiRobo stood together against the antiChristmas villain. SantaSlayer tried his best to stay one move ahead of the three giant robots, but he had a hard time avoiding them. All too quickly he found himself unable to avoid them any longer when he was blasted by missiles from the GokaiRobo, allowing him to be struck by the drill of GoZyuRex and then hit by a cross slash from the GokaiOh's GokaiKen swords.
"All together, fire!" Kyle said as he turned his ranger key, opening the hatches on GokaiOh.
"Gokai Starburst!"
Cannonballs began to fire from the cannon on the chest of GokaiOh.
"GoZyuLaser!"
The mouth of GoZyuRex opened and a Godzilla like laser fired from its mouth.
Gokai Harpoon Torpedo!
GokaiRobo pointed its Tank barrel at SantaSlayer and fired a harpoon rocket. The three attacks all struck SantaSlayer, causing it to fly back.
"Man this this just won't stay down!" Daisy complained, smacking her wheel.
"Then let's help him!" Tommy said, holding up his GaoBlue and ShinkenBlue keys. Summoning GaoLion, they then transformed into ShinkenGokaiOh.
"Lets not fall behind!" Sean said, as he and Rachel both turned their ranger keys.
"GoZyuJin: Tank Armament!"
The two combined machines charged and began to fight, dominating the giant action commander easily before setting up for the finish. However they were caught off guard by a trio of Sugomin modified into fighter jets.
"Whoa, where did they come from?" Deion said as they took damage.
"Guys, can you get this?" Kyle asked Sean and Rachel.
"Yeah, keep on this; we've got the three stooges." Rachel said as she held up her MegaSilver key, sliding it into the wheel and turning it, causing a giant jet like wing to form on the back.
"Wing-GoZyuJin, take off!" Rachel said as she spun her wheels sending the machine into the air.

Rachel spun and manipulated her wheels in order to avoid laser blasts while Sean tried in vain to line up a shot with the Tank cannon.
"No go, everything is moving too fast." Sean told her after missing his fourth shot.
"Ok, then we need to get closer. Hold on tight!" She said, letting go of both wheels, sending the GoZyuJin plummeting from the air, crashing onto one of the Sugomin and holding on tight. Rachel used the hammer like fist of the left hand to smash the sugomin's head several times before launching itself away, allowing it to be blasted by the other two and destroyed.
"One down, two to go!" Sean said with a grin.
"Good. Let's go for the two for one special!" Rachel said, turning the MegaSilver key again, sending Wing-GoZyuJin right at another.
"Gokai Spartan!"
The drill on the arm began to rapidly spin, and when they collided with the Sugomin they pierced it and went right through right at the final one as Sean turned his GokaiBlack key, firing the cannon at the last one once they were to close for it to be avoided, destroying them both in one quick move.

Kicking SantaSlayer back, ShinkenGokaiOh delivered a punch right to the face before avoiding energy blasts. Turning the Shinkenger ranger keys, the Mecha held out its hand and formed the giant sword. SantaSlayer attempted to backpedal, but was hit with a flying dropkick from Wing-GoZyuJin sent it right back at them, right into their sword slash, destroying the evil Santa monster once and for all.
"And to all a good explosion!" Tommy laughed as he sat back in his chair, hands behind his head.

Kyle walked down the street, needing to pick up the present from the shop he had purchased it from. The problem was it was much later in the day then it had been when he had been there before and he was having a hard time finding it. Pulling his signature red coat around him to keep him warm, he looked around and accidently bumped into and almost knocked them down.
"Ah, Gomen, so sorry." Kyle said using one of the few Japanese words he knew to apologize to the man he bumped into.
"No harm done." He replied in perfect English. The man had long blonde hair in an 'emo loner anti-hero' Anime style. He had green eyes, that Kyle felt he had seen somewhere before. He was wearing all black, to his ripped jeans, his loose black shirt and a black bandanna wrapped around his neck with the image of a silver skull.
"Still, sorry about that. Merry Christmas." Kyle said as he turned and continued on his way.
"Same to you." The man said as he walked away. As soon as he was out of Kyle's earshot, the man snarled looking back at him.
"That's the man father and little sister have so much interest in? He's pathetic! I could defeat him without a problem. He just walks around like he's some American Marvelous. Tch. Still, Father has his reasons I guess."

Christmas had gone off without a hitch, no more attacks had followed the SantaSlayer, so the seven were able to enjoy the next few days in peace.
After spending the day trading Christmas stories, opening gifts and all around having a good time, Christmas dinner was ready, and the seven superheroes dug into it with gusto. The food was fit for kings, all of them worked hard to make this meal great. You had turkey, ham, orange duck, sushi, green beans and bacon, sweet potatoes, lobster, Kobe beef strips, salmon. These seven people, brought together by cosmic events, for the first time in months had no thoughts of combat or monsters. They were simple enjoying the company of people who had become closer than any family member had before them and eating a terrific meal.
Kyle held up his cup with a smile.
"A toast, to all those we wish were here but can't be. A toast, to peace and sanity. To all of those who came before us I offer a toast in gratitude for all they have done. To those who come after us I offer prayers that they find safe end to their journeys. To everyone seeking to find their way through life I say this.
Welcome to wherever you are. Salud."
"Salud." The others agreed, holding up their cups with a smile before drinking from them.

Kyle stood on top of the crows next, overlooking the city as he drank hot cocoa. With little marshmallows of course. He was taken from his thinking when Tommy came up behind him, holding his present, a replica of the triceraLance.
"Hey, I love this thing, and the symbol's a nice touch." Tommy said, looking at the replicas. Instead of the ZyuRanger logo was the photo of the two of them and Sam, the same one that was on Kyle's TyrannoSword. "You thinking about her?"
"This is the first Christmas I haven't so much as seen her since we met. I haven't found anything new about her disappearance. I don't know what to do." Kyle admitted.
"Don't worry. We'll find her. The three of us are family, and family doesn't give up on each other." Tommy told him, putting his hand on his shoulder. Kyle smiled.
"Thanks man. You can head back down I'll be fine."
"Ok. Oh, before I forget, Daisy was looking for you; do you want me to tell her where she is?"
"No need, I'm right here." The pink ranger said as she walked up. She stood next to her boyfriend for a few moments before glaring at Tommy. Taking the hint, the blue ranger left.
"Merry Christmas." Kyle said to her once she was gone, giving her a kiss.
"Same to you. And don't try and avoid this. You've known it was coming." She tells him.
"Yeah. I did say I'd tell you the whole story, and you've been amazingly patient with me." Kyle tells her. "Come on, I might as well tell it to everyone."
The two made their way down to the main room, where everyone was still sitting around talking and having a good time. Kyle sat in his usual seat and finished his drink before setting his cup down.
"Ok everyone, gather 'round. Captain Claus is going to tell you a bedtime story most of you have been waiting for. It's long past time I tell you about Sam…."

I so deeply apologize for the lateness of this story. I hope you all like it. I just wanted to have a nice little Christmas adventure that didn't have big stakes and maybe was kinda funny. The next chapter returns to normal, dealing with Basco's plans and the Vron's making their move, while also finally starting to explain just who Sam is to Kyle and Tommy. I already have a few pages typed up for my next chapter, and will try to have it up within two weeks or less.
Next time: An attempt to enjoy a simple afternoon turns into a fight for the lives of the Gokaiger as DeltaVron begins her plans. And with Basco on the hunt for Grand Powers, has he found something to give him the edge over the Gokaiger?
