The Accidental Gokai Change Chapter 17:
Mirror Mirror.

Seven figures enjoyed a celebration, taking place in a large room. They laughed and jumped and cheered, two were closer than the rest.
Kai smirked as he twirled Ivy, pulling her into a searing kiss which she returned. However, the festivities were canceled when the music turned off.
"What the hell?" Davis said, turning and seeing DeltaVron.
"Interesting. It appears the childish romance between Gokai's Red and Pink has carried over to you two." Delta said walking in and sitting at the conference table she had installed.
"What can I say, she's hot and she kicks pirate right in their booty." Kia said with a grin, slapping Ivy's ass, making her jump.
"Charming. Now we need to focus. We scored a definite victory yesterday, but we can't be lax." Delta said.
"Hey hey hey hey hey hey hey, don't worry about it." Shane said sitting down at his seat. "We're already ahead of you."
"He's right. We devised a plan perfect for those idiots." Tomhas said.
"Oh? And what is that?" The new leader of the Zangyack Space Fleet asked.
The Jushen ZhangJiDui grinned as they joined her at the table, laying out their plan.
"Well," Delta said after several minutes looking over their plan proposal. "It's defiantly something they won't expect. Very well, I'll get to work on my part. You get ready for yours."

"God good I'm bored." Sean said playing cards with Deion, Tommy and Crystal.
"Bored." Tommy agreed.
"So bored it's boring." Said Rachel from the couch where she watched movies on her ipad.
"Boronus, Boretis, Boremus. I came, I saw, I bored." Crystal added.
"He bored, she bored, they bored." Daisy said, doing pushups.
"All aboard." Kyle said, sitting in his chair reading a book, a glass of scotch in his hand.
"I was going to say that." Tommy told him.
The room was quite for several more minutes.
"Ok I can't take this anymore. What the hell are they up to?" Rachel said, turning off her iPad and standing up. Everyone looked at her.
"It's been three weeks since we last saw a Zangyack attack. Not even a gormin. The only one who's seen anything close to action is Kyle: either his make out sessions with Daisy or his hourly game of hand to glass combat!" she ranted.
"This is true. " Said Kyle, sipping his scotch, looking at the silver ranger over the edge of the glass.
"We've never gone this long without dealing with the buckets before." Said Tommy, laying his cards down on the table.
"Before we've been lucky if two days pass before we fight next." Crystal said.
"Does anyone have any ideas on what's going on?" said Deion, turning around in his seat.
"I've been thinking about this. In between my make out sessions and hand to glass combat." Kyle said in amusement.
"And what do you have?" Daisy asked, glancing at her boyfriend.
"Either it's taking longer than I expected for DeltaVron to solidify her hold on the Zangyack….or we've done better than we thought and she's so low on troops she needs more before she picks back up. Or a combination of both." The red ranger replied.
"That's surprisingly insightful. I'm amazed you've been able to come up with that, since you're so often muddled in a fog of intoxication." Sean said.
"Don't make up your own words." Kyle said.
"Kyle may have a point. Who knows what state the Zangyack is in right now with everything that happened when Delta took over? I mean we'd been doing a lot of damage on our own leading up to this, not to mention what happened on that island. No matter how much resources and troops was brought with them they had to suffer huge losses. "Tommy said.
"Wait, if we did so much damage then why the hell are we just sitting here? Every second we waste the Zangyack could be getting stronger. We should make an offensive, move our operation into space and launch a huge attack, wipe them out before they return to full strength." Sean said, getting up.
"That's a good idea." Crystal said. "That would save us from having the whole big dangerous finale whenever we reach the finishing line."
"But if we launch and they still have to much force we'd get creamed." Tommy pointed out.
"So it's either attack now and possibly get ourselves killed, or keep waiting around and all catch cabin fever." Deion said.
Suddenly alarms started going off.
"And we take option C: back to business as usual." Said Kyle, putting his glass to his lips and tilting his head back.
"Give the man a refill. Or better yet don't." Daisy said, going to the console. "It's a big one. A large squad of gormin, trio of Sugomin, and a giant trio of those green guys, Trigomen. All in different locations"
"We can use GokaiOh to fight the giants while Rachel and Sam and split the squad." Tommy said.
""No." Kyle said as he got up from his chair, drank the last of his scotch and set the glass down. "Rachel takes GoZyuDrill against the giants. Sean can handle the gormin. The rest of us will handle the Sugomin."
"I'm pretty sure I can handle those Trigomen, but that's a pretty big group of Sugomin. Wouldn't it be easier if you guys swap, then back Sean up when you're done mopping up the foot soldiers?" Rachel asked. Kyle glanced at the monitor and saw the size of the gormin group.
"Sean, if you can't handle a group of buckets without backup don't bother coming back to the Galleon." Kyle said, storming out of the room. The crew glanced at each other and split up to do their jobs.

"They broke up exactly the way I bet they would." Kai said as he leaned back in his seat of the war room. On the dozen of monitors lining the wall the evil Sentai and Delta watched as the gokaiger fought their forces.
"Look at them move. We were right; waiting this long has let them stew and built up tensions between them." Davis said.
"And if we were right about their building tensions due to waiting so long for a battle we were probably right about them not training either. When they train they go all out. No way they'd let us catch them at anything less than 100%." Tomhas said, watching his counterpart on the monitor.
The group watched as the main five gokaiger changed into Fiveman and began using their specialty attacks on the Sugomin. As this was going on Sean changed into Mask X1, and Rachel switched from GoZyuDrill into GoZyuRex.
"Rachel isn't sure how to handle these Trigomen. She's used to fighting Sugomin, going toe to toe with them, rather than getting attacked from a distance. " Kat said.
"Looks like the main five Gokaiger are almost done with their group. Sean's running behind but he won't be that far behind." Shane noticed.
"Your right. Shall we move onto phase 2?" Raven asked. Delta opened her tablet and brought up the phase two, glancing at Kai. The Red ZhangJiDui stared at the monitors for several seconds before nodding, and Delta made the move.

"V Sword Attack!" Kyle yelled as he leapt down at the Sugomin to finish them off. However they were teleported out before he hit.
"What happened?" Tommy said as he and the rest ran over to the pirated FiveRed. Before he could reply they were attacked by a large squad of gormin.

"Is it working?" asked Ivy as they watched the renewed battle. They had swapped the battlefield, sending gormin against main five and Sugomin against GokaiBlack.
Rachel meanwhile had switched to GoZyuJin and was faring better against the Trigomen.
"Give it a few and we'll go to phase three, and when we do we start setting up for phases four and five." Kai said as he got to his feet, leading his team out of the room. Delta watched them as they left, then looked back at the monitors.

"What in the hell was that all about?" Rachel asked as the team gathered on the Galleon half hour later.
"I don't know. That was so freaky. One minute we're fighting Sugomin, then gormin, then Sugomin again, and then they all leave." Tommy said.
"Same thing happened to me. Gormin, Sugomin, Gormin." Sean told them as he sat on the couch.
"This has to be our copies. Waiting so long to make a move, having their opening move be so confusing. This has their fingerprints on it." Deion said sitting down.
"My best guess is their getting ready to make a big move and they want to knock us off our game." Kyle said, grabbing a glass of scotch and sitting in his seat.
"If that's true, then we'd better get set up. Maybe we should get some sleep." Daisy said, glaring at the glass of scotch in Kyle's hand.
As the team discussed ideas, they heard a faint ringing.
"What's that?" Tommy asked.
"I think that's my phone." Rachel said as she got up and walked to her room, returning. "I just got a text from my evil clone."
"What does it say?" Deion asked.
"They are inviting us to a party tomorrow night. A very nice night club I know in the area. Bring cake." Rachel told them, reading the message on her screen.
"So, that's their play. Ok, we accept their invitation." Kyle said, drinking his scotch. "Everyone go to bed, eat a good breakfast. We're going to go through hell tomorrow."
"Think maybe we should do a hard training session?" Crystal suggested.
"No. That's what tonight was. That was their way of getting us warmed up for later. I know it." Deion said, leaning forward in his seat.
"I'm backing Deion, that makes sense." Tommy said.
"Enough chatter. There's no chance they are coming with anything less then everything they have tomorrow, we can't afford to be anything less than full strength. We got creamed last time. We need to win." Kyle said. Everyone nodded and soon they went to bed.

The Next morning….
Daisy shifted as she opened her eyes and saw that Kyle was already awake and watching her.
"hey." She said sleepily.
"Good morning." He replied.
"Have you been up long?" She asked, not moving, enjoying the quiet time.
"About half an hour. I'd have gotten up, but you've been sleeping on my arm." He told her. She blinked and lifted her head, allowing her to free his arm.
"Sorry." She said sheepishly.
"Don't worry about it." He said as he got up and kisses her forehead, and getting to his feet. "I may need help putting a shirt on though." He said, twisting a bit so she could see his dead arm flopping at his side. She giggled and got up, grabbing her robe and putting it over her pajamas as she walked over to the bathroom.

Most of the team was up by 10, though only the girls were in the main room eating breakfast. They were discussing the upcoming battle against their clones, and how they were looking forward to getting payback for what happened to them before.
"Last time, we were so tired we were about to drop. Not this time." Daisy said as she ate some waffles.
"That reminds me," Crystal said. "I stopped by your room last night to drop off that CD you leant me, and you weren't in your room. In fact, you weren't in there at all last night."
"Oh really?" Rachel said, leaning over and grinning at Daisy, who was trying not to blush.
"And just where have you been at nights?" Crystal asked, enjoying the look on her friends face.
"I…..I was with Kyle." She quietly said.
"I didn't quite hear that." Rachel said, winking to Crystal.
"I said I was in Kyle's room. I all but moved in his room with him a few weeks ago." Daisy admitted.
"Really? Your naughty minx." Rachel teased.
"We aren't doing anything wrong. We're just….testing, to see if our relationship might go farther. We aren't sleeping together….just….."
"Sleeping together?" Crystal said. Daisy blushed even brighter pink.
"You know what I mean." She said, hearing footsteps approaching. "Now please be quiet."
"What were you guys talking about?" Deion asked as he and the guys walked into the main room.
"Nothing." Daisy quickly said.
"Ok, we've got a few hours until our showdown. This'll be our toughest fight yet. We need to be ready." Kyle said, sitting in his seat.
"What should we do?" Tommy asked.
"I think we need to go on as usual. If we get into a weird headspace then we might not be able get back on our game in time." Sean said.
"Let's go over strategies." Crystal said. "In case they don't play fair. Seeing as how they are evil."
"Good idea." Deion said.
The group gathered around, getting coffee and drinks and food as they went over various plans, trying to cover all eventualities. All too soon it was time for the showdown.

The Seven Gokaiger walked down the street as Rachel led the group to the club where the battle would take place.
When they arrived they found the building surrounded by people who were trying to get in, but access was being blocked by men in suits.
"Do you think they'll let us pass?" Tommy asked. Kyle ignored him, storming forward and kicking the guy in the face. Not even paying attention as the man's disguise failed and he turned back into a gormin, the captain of the Gokaiger grabbed the door and yanked it open, walking inside.
The rest of the crew looked at each other before following him.
When they walked inside they found the seven Jushen ZhangJiDui were already there, dancing to dark music. If you could call it dancing.
"What are Kia and ivy doing?" Crystal wondered.
"Either they're dancing or getting ready to shoot a possible soft-core scene." Daisy said, watching them.
"Hey, we were starting to wonder if you guys were going to show up." Davis said as he walked over.
"Well, we're sorry to keep you waiting." Deion said.
"Awww, they forgot the cake." Kat said with a pout.
"We couldn't find one that was healthy enough for people with our lifestyle." Crystal shot.
"You guys ready?" Kyle asked, glancing at his team as they began to split up until they were facing their counterparts.
"Let's throw down." Kai said, signaling the Sugomin who was serving as DJ. The DJ Sugomin began to play new music as the Gokaiger charged at the Jushen.
The Gokaiger fought against their evil counterparts, but the Jushen didn't much seem like fighting. They bobbed, weaved and danced out of the way of each attack and launched an effective counter attack, that wasn't always an attack. Kyle and Daisy were getting the worst of it, trying to split Kia and Ivy up, however the two worked together to fight off the two and send them back. Kia spun, lifting Ivy up and twisting her, allowing her to kick Daisy into Kyle, knocking them off the stage the four were fighting.
Kyle wrapped his arms around Daisy, grunting as he landed on the ground, the pink ranger landing on top of him. Soon the other pirates had regrouped around them.
"We're getting wiped out. We need a new plan of attack." Sean said as he rubbed his leg. Kyle blinked, glancing up at the DJ.
"We don't need to attack. This is a party. We need to act like it." Kyle said.
"And how do we do that?" Rachel asked, glancing at her captain.
"Easy. Daisy, can I have this dance?" He asked, holding out his hand. Daisy nodded and placed her hand in his. The two leapt up onto the stage and went after their counterparts again, the DJ playing a new song. Something that sounded like it could be German Symphonic Death Metal or something.
Tommy back flipped over the table and landed on a chair, hooking his foot in the opening in the back and jumped again, spinning, sending the chair at Tomhas, sending him into another table.
"Not bad. It almost makes me think you aren't just on the team out of pity." Tomhas said and, reaching back and grabbing the silverware, tossing it at the blue ranger.
"Who do you think I am, Noah?" Tommy shot. "I got over my issues long ago, and I'm not going to crumble just because I got an insult directed at me."
Sean grunted as he and Shane crashed through a series of chairs, rolling around as they continued to fight.
"Why do you fight? It's pointless. You don't belong here. Hell I'm more real then you'll ever be!" Shane mocked, tossing a table at Sean, who ducked under it, kicking a chair at Sean.
"You're not real either. You're just a cheap knock-off of an imitation." Sean said as he rolled over a table and kicked Shane in the chest with both legs, sending him back. Shane snarled, hooking his foot on the chair and kicking it to Sean, who jumped up and landed on the chair, managing to balance on it as they continued to fight.
Crystal leapt onto the top of the exotic dancer's cage, landing at the same time as Kat the two fighting on top of the cage.
"What do you think you're going to accomplish?" Kat asked as she ducked under a kick, grabbing Crystal's neck from behind trying to choke her.
"I'm going to keep people safe from your masters. I refuse to let people suffer like Jessica did!" Crystal grunted, grabbing Kat's arms and pulling, sending Kat over her back and crashing onto the table.
Rachel and Raven kept going, handling each other like a mirror image of one another.
"You're such a disappointment. Can you imagine what your team thought when they found out about you? They were expecting a big strong man; instead they get a damaged woman." Raven said and they both did a kick, their feet hitting as the two tried to push the other back.
"My friends wouldn't think anything like them about me. They may not know about where I've come from, but they know I'll fight with everything I've got and they respect that." Rachel said, hopping back allowing Raven to stumble forward. Rachel grabbed her and tossed her away.
Deion and Davis leapt into the air, landing on the second story and fought.
"You're too slow. Then again that's the story of your life. To slow, which is why the woman you've been longing for is sharing someone else's bed!" David said as he ducked under an uppercut and kneed him in the kidneys.
"Shut up!" Deion snarled and slammed his forearm into Davis's head, sending him stumbling back.
"And let me tell you, Ivy really likes to scream. I can barely get any sleep on the Gingant Horse. Must be worse on that tiny ship of yours." David said.
"SHUT UP! Don't you dare talk about her like that!" Deion screamed as he tackled David, sending the two over the railing.
Kyle kicked Kai, bending over and letting Daisy roll over his back, kicking Kai as well before jumping down off the stage and going after Ivy.
"Look at our big handsome men going at it." Ivy cackled as the two red fought each other with everything they had. "Reminds me when your red and green boys almost killed themselves over you. Hot innocent you. "
"They weren't themselves. They were under a spell!" Daisy cried out, trying not to remember how close she came to almost losing her best friend and her boyfriend.
"Oh come on, you know full well if it came to it they'd be at it again, trying to prove themselves to you." Ivy said as Daisy rushed her.
"Look at all this. Everything that is happening is your entire fault. You made the wish. You are the source of all this." Kai said as he countered a punch, putting Kyle in his own signature armbar.
"I know this is on my soul. I've long since started counting up my sins. And I won't be stopping until the last Zangyack is dead!' Kyle said coldly, shifting himself and tackling Kai off the stage and onto the floor. Kai grunted.
"By the time Zangyack is dead, Sam will have been dead for much longer." Kai shot before turning and running out a side door.
"Get back here!" Kyle yelled, running after him.
"Kyle, no!" Crystal shouted seeing Kyle going after Kai, as hoards of gormin appeared and attacked the Gokaiger.

Jushen ZhangiJi Dui
GOOOKAIGER
Red ZhangiJi ran down the back allies, as Gokai Red chased after him. Kyle swung his sword and shot his gun, but wasn't able to slow Kai down much due to the occasional gormin and Sugomin appearance. Before he knew it, Gokai Red was chasing Red ZhangiJi up the wooden stairs of a tall water park slide. He wasn't really sure how long ago they'd been in the water park, but at some point they obviously entered the building at some point. The park was closed, and it was so dark Kyle had difficulty keeping track of his opponent, let alone the steps of the stairs.
Eventually they managed to get to the top of the stairs, the Gokai Sabre clashing with the DuiSword.
Kai swung at Kyle's neck, but the captain of the Gokaiger managed to avoid it, bending backwards which allowed the round Go-Onger like sword to pass inches from his face, at which point Kyle grabbed the railing and used it as support as he kicked Kai to the ground, leaping on top of him.
"What do you know about Sam?" Kyle yelled.
"I know a little bit. I also know that the mere mention of her name causes you to lose focus." Kai said, his smirk audible as he knocked Kyle's hands off him and lifted his knees, kicking Gokai Red over him. Kyle grunted as he landed awkwardly on the waterslide, rolling down the slide all the way to the bottom, where he managed to catch himself before he hit the darkened water.
Kyle groaned, managing to get to his feet rather unsteadily. As he tried to get the world to stop spinning he saw a flicker of movement and spun around, just in time to see Kai flying through the air, kicking him in the chest sending him back into the freezing cold water.
"Da-dum. Da-dum. Da-dum-da-dum-da-dum." Kyle heard as he surfaced, glancing over and seeing Red ZhangiJi kneeling at the edge of the slide, humming. The lights turned on, blinding Kyle momentarily as he waited for his eyes to adjust.
"What are you doing?" Kyle asked.
"Da-dum. Da-dum. Da-dum-da-dum-da-dum" Kai once again vocalized.
"That doesn't answer my question." Kyle said as he floated on the water.
"I'm humming the theme from Jaws. There is a Shark Monster heading right at you." Kai deadpanned.
Kyle blinked several times, swimming around a looking behind him. Indeed there was a large Shark Monster heading right at him at high speeds through the water. It surfaced before it broke past the surface, leaping at him opening its massive mouth, filled with razor sharp teeth.
Kyle screamed as the shark monster landed on him, pushing him under the water. At which point Kai got to his feet and teleported out of the area.

The Gokaiger ran out of the nightclub. After defeating all the gormin and Sugomin the Jushen teleported out, freeing the pirates to go after Kyle.
"Where did they go?" Sean said looking around.
"Look!" Rachel said as she ran to a part of the wall. "Scoring from Kyle's sword. It looks like they went that way. Follow me."
Gokai Silver ran down the alley as the rest of the Gokaiger ran after her. They ran for several dozen meters following the battle damage until it ran out.
"Where did they go after this?" Daisy said, spinning around trying to figure out where to look next.
"Wait, listen!" Deion said, holding up his hand. "I hear something. There!"
Deion ran over to a large building, opening the door and running inside, followed by the others.
Inside the building was a large water park, and the large pool was having violent reactions, due to GokaiRed battling the 8 foot Shark Monster. They went underwater, only to resurface when the Shark burst out of the water and hurled the red ranger onto the floating island in the middle of the pool. When Kyle landed on the island he glowed red and demorphed. Kyle got to his feet just in time for the Shark to leap out of the water again and slashing at his waist, wounding him and sending him into the water.
The rest of the crew started to fire their guns at the shark, causing it to retreat. Rachel and Tommy dove in the water, swimming at their captain, who was assisting in making the water look as red as his uniform. The two sank under the water, grabbing Kyle and pulling him to the shore.
Daisy quickly made sure her boyfriend was breathing as Rachel inspected the wound on his side.
"This wound isn't as bad as I thought, but I need a better look." The silver ranger said. "Sorry for the intrusion, but modesty doesn't mean much when you're bleeding all over."
And with that she started to unhook the captain's belt Kyle glanced up at Daisy.
"I want you to know, before anything happens….that water was freezing cold." Kyle said. Daisy's jaw dropped, and then she started laughing, which Rachel also joined in as everyone else looked away.
Rachel pulled Kyle's pants down on the side, enough to allow her to view his thigh.
"Ok, thank god. It's not that bad. It won't even need stitches. Let's get you on the Galleon so we can bandage you up." Rachel said.
"Hey, we finally found a use for your bottles of booze." Sean said, as he and the others walked outside to summon the galleon.
As if things couldn't get worse, when they arrived on the galleon they got hit with more bad news.
Tomishisa Naruse, a Japanese actor was attacked by a trio of men. One was a Hispanic, one was a large African American, and one was a Japanese man.
Basco had claimed the Greater Power of Jetman.

Daisy tried to calm her boyfriend.
"It's ok. We're going to beat them and then-"
Deion cut the pink ranger off.
"We got beat bad today. We got played big, and Kyle almost got eaten." He said.
"Everyone calm down, they got lucky this time." Crystal said.
"No, they played us like a cheap fiddle. They had everything laid out perfectly. Right down to springing gormin on your guys while I got lead to the park and practically into that Shark monsters mouth." Kyle said.
"Well, maybe we need to rest and think of a new plan of attack." Rachel said. Daisy noticed Kyle smack his fist in his hand.
"Like I said, we will get them next time. She said. Deion stared out the left porthole
"Rachel's right." Tommy said. "We're getting played because these guys can think as we do. So what we need to do is think up what we'd do if we were supervillians, and how we'd counter that."
"Ok, Hey Tommy, you mind helping me with some repairs?" Deion asked
"Sure. We might as well get this old girl back up and running." The blue ranger said.
"I'll help. Get my mind off my misery." Sean said, also getting up.
"I'll lay here, drunk in the hopes I forget this day." Kyle said, about to reach for his rum, but seeing the women of the ship glaring at him told him otherwise.
"I can think of something much better to do then rum." Daisy said as she sank into his lap, avoiding putting pressure on his freshly bandaged wounds.
"Why don't get give you privacy. I'm gonna take a walk." Rachel said as she walked out of the room.
"Hey Rach, can you wait a sec? Guys I'll meet you down below." Deion said. Tommy and Sean nodded, heading deeper into the galleon to work on repairs.
"Why haven't you used Gold Mode? You've been with us for a while, and given what's going on we could use the boost in power." He asked. Rachel sighed and looked around.
"I've tried. Every night for weeks I've tried to combine the keys, but it just doesn't work." She told him.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"It's like I can't see it. I've watched Gai do it many times, and I tried copying him, but I just can't do it" She said. "Anyways, I will get it sooner or later. I'm going to go for my walk now." Rachel said as she bolted out the door.
"This just keeps getting stranger and stranger." Deion said, heading to rejoin the others.

Rachel walked down the street, biting her lip as she saw a bar. After a few minutes she decided to go inside and maybe get herself a drink. As she sat down at the bar she glanced around, watching the people as they enjoyed the night life.
Her eyes widen, however, when she saw William, Basco's partner, walking over to her and sitting next to her at the bar.
"Hey." He said. It was eerie how much he sounded like his brother. "Mind if I buy you a drink?"

Rachel walked into the galleon, and saw Kyle, laying sideways on his chair, sound asleep.
"Kyle?" She asked, seeing if he would awaken. When he didn't she grabbed a glass of water from the table and poured it onto his head, waking him up.
"Wha, what's wrong?" he asked, squinting, seeing the clock on the wall. "Goddamit it's 4:00 in the morning."
"I bumped into Deion's brother when I took a walk. He invited me for a drink. I naturally said no, it was kinda like sleeping with the enemy." She told him.
"If you're asking me if you should sleep with Basco's lackey the answer is no, but what the hell, your over 21 you don't need my approval." Kyle replied, brushing his hair back.
"I don't think William is pure evil like we've been thinking. I think Basco tricked him." Rachel explained.
"I don't know what Basco's said or did to get William and Carlos behind him, but the guy is dangerous. And so are they by extension. If we get a chance to do so, we put all three of them down. Hard." Kyle told her.
"Deion isn't going to like that." Rachel told him.
"Which is why we can't tell him that." Kyle said.
"I hate it when you're right." Rachel said, getting up and walking out of the room.

William watched the sunrise from the rooftop of the building they were staying at. Basco had somehow managed to get hold of a penthouse for their use, which was where they'd been staying since arriving in Japan. Thinking about his encounter with the Silver girl, William couldn't help thinking about how all this started, what felt like so very long ago.

'Maybe I was too hard on him growing.' William thought. He was of course thinking of his younger brother, Deion, who he fears has gone missing.
'That power ranger guy won't tell me where he is.' he thought as he walked down the street of his home town of Hemet, CA. He moved back soon after his father died. The man, Jason David Frank, almost adopted his younger brother.
'Maybe he ran off with that girl. About time he got laid.' he thought. He thought about the last time he saw him, and how bad he was to him...
Flashback...
"You can't just leave without my permission little brother." William said as Deion packed his gym bag; get ready for his trip to Detroit.
"I'm his best student, why wouldn't I go. Daisy won't let me hear the end of it." Deion said.
"That's not my point, your only 17 and you're still my responsibility-"
"There you go, thinking I need to be watched over. I'm not as weak as I was when I was younger; the doctors say that training with Sensei Frank has strengthened me." Deion was getting annoyed with his brother.
"But, you still can't beat me in a fight." William stated matter of factually. Deion groaned.
"You know what, forget you, since dad died you have been a pain in my ass, and even before then when mom-"
"DON'T YOU SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THAT YOU LITTLE SHIT!" Deion's eyes narrowed. It was one of those fights.
"I'm gone; see you in a few days..."
Flashback end...
William wondered just what happened to his brother. But, he knew someone was going to pay for whatever happened to him.
"Oh, you seem very uneasy." a voice said behind him. The African American young adult turned to see a Japanese man in a red coat and a pirate hat sitting on a low wall.
"Who the hell are you?" William asked.
"A privateer in need of some muscle. You seem like you could use the cash."
"No thanks, I'm happy with what I do." he said, showing him his work badge for a computer company.
"To bad, you could have stopped your brother from his evil deeds." That rang in William's ears.
"What the hell do you mean?"
"Deion, or should I say Gokai green now, is a terror to the globe as a whole. He and his band of pirates have been showing up to 'defeat' those things we call Gormin that have attacked all over the world. But he and his new friends are the ones in control and know how they got here."
"You expect me to believe my brother is one of those power rangers? What are you smoking?" William asked, not buying what he was saying.
"I'll tell you what, why don't I explain it to you in detail Willy boy." The man said as he gave William a Cheshire smirk.
"Fine, but what do I call you?"
"My goodness where are my manners, my name is Basco..."

"Hey. I was wondering what happened to you." Carlos said as he walked outside.
"I'm amazed you're awake, given all that booze you drank." William said.
"Ah, I'm heading back down. Just don't stay up to late. You never knew when we get another crack at those idiots." Carlos said before going back inside. As he crawled into his bed he also thought of his start with Team Basco.

Prison.
The only life he knew for the past year. Carlos sat in his cell, not able to sleep for the night, thinking about the ones who put him there.
'Fucking Bitch ass Nigger. Him and that white fool. What I did with my girl was none of their business. But she as good as dead to me now, he can have her for all he wants, aint like she's putting out.' he ranted in his mind.
A thug of his status gets all the women he wanted. But he had to date that little Kung fu bitch. She was cute and all, had a nice ass, but he should have hit it and quit it when he did.
'Three fucking years I spent with that slut, and nothing! And all she ever talked about was that black kid she hung out with. I should have killed the fucker when I had the chance.' Carlos snarled out loud.
"Then why don't I give you the chance?" a voice echoed.
"Who's there?" Carlos asked. The sound of boots tapping the floor rang out. Soon, two men appeared in front of his cell. One of them was a Japanese man; the other was someone who looked like the guy who put him there.
"YOU FUCKING PUSSY! I'LL KILL YOU! YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"
"Oh please be quiet, you don't want to wake the others." The Japanese man said.
"And you are thinking of my brother my good sir." the black man said.
"My name is Basco and this is William, or as I'm fond of calling him, Willy boy." The remarked earned him a glare from his partner. "We are in need of you help Carlos Sanchez."
"And why would I help you fucker? What's in it for me?"
Basco flashed him a sly grin.
"Why your chance at revenge of course..."

By morning, the crew was up and ready to go.
"Good, you're awake." Kyle said as Rachel, Crystal and Sean walked in. "Perfect timing. We've got big trouble. That Shark from before is back, its hiding somewhere in the river system and we can't find it from here."
"It was sighted entering the river this morning, and there have been occasional sightings since then. We need to fight and smash it before it kills someone." Tommy said.
"What's the plan?" Crystal asked.
"You guys split up and search. Crystal and Daisy will look in one area, Tommy and Deion in another, and Rachel and Sean searching the last area. I'll stay up here, monitor the news and let you guys know what's going on." Kyle said.
"Sounds like a surprisingly efficient plan. Let's go." Sean said as the group split up.
An hour later, the groups were searching high and low for signs of the Shark.
Deion and Tommy, as TurboRanger ran all around the Yamanashi Prefecture.
Sean and Crystal, as Green Eagle and Yellow Owl, flew around the Kanagawa Prefecture.
And Daisy and Rachel, as MegaPink and MegaSilver, flew on their Auto and Cyber Sliders all around the Tokyo Prefecture.
They knew the Shark was hiding somewhere in the Tama River. They just weren't sure where he was hiding.
"Guys! We found him. He's near Ōme, in the Tokyo Area." Rachel said on her cellular as She and Daisy chased him down the river.
"Roger. Everyone converge on them. We have to stop that thing." Kyle said as he spun the Galleon's wheel.
"We'll try and keep this ugly thing distracted." Rachel said.
"LOOK!" Daisy screamed, pointing ahead of them. Some kids were playing in the water ahead, and while most were swimming away, one child wouldn't be able to get away in time. Rachel put on a burst of speed as she raced the Shark to try and rescue the boy. However the Shark had a head start. Just as it started to lift its head out of the water to eat him, Daisy moved in, slamming her Cyber Slider into its massive head, sending it away from the boy and allowing Rachel to pull him out of the water.
Daisy however was sent flying from her board, and landed on a floating dock and changing back into GokaiPink, holding her ribs. Rachel flew the kid to the shore and turned to see the fin heading right to her friend.
"Daisy looks out!" She shouted. Daisy looked over in the direction of Rachel's urgent voice, seeing the fin sink beneath the water, and knowing that the mouth would appear any second. In a flash the pink pirate hopped to her feet and did a sideways leap off the docks, just as they became part of a genetically engineered shark monster's complete meal.
Rachel leapt off her Auto Slider with a flip, changing back into GokaiSilver as she landed next to Daisy, checking to make sure she was ok. Hearing noise from the sky, the two glanced up, and saw gormin arriving.
The two drew their weapons and were about to attack when Tommy and Deion arrived, using TurboRangers high speed attacks to take it to the Gormin. As they did that, Sean and Crystal arrived, firing their lasers into the water to try and attack the shark before landing.
"No good. Our lasers disburse to much once they touch water. Even by some miracle we touch that thing it won't do any good." Sean said, elbowing a Gormin in the face before kicking it into the water.
"Where is your boyfriend?" Deion asked Daisy, using his T Hammer to strike gormin away.
As if summoned by mention of his name, The Galleon flew overhead, firing its cannons at the gormin and into the water. Kyle dropped from the galleon and landed on the head of a gormin before leaping and kicking another one.
"Let's deal with these guys, and then we take care of Jaws." Kyle said, taking out his moribites and ranger key.
"Gokai Change!"
As Kyle pivoted to slide his key into his moribites a gormin fired a rocket at him, sending Kyle falling down to the ground, and sending his moribites into the river. Kyle jumped to his feet and crawled to the edge of the river, Crystal grabbing him and pulling him away before the Shark burst out of the water. If Kyle hadn't been pulled back he would have his upper torso eaten off. Rachel struck down a few more Gormin before leaping over to the others and looking at the water.
"Damn, the river's so dark you can't see anything." She said. Kyle cursed and got up, walking to the river.
"What are you doing?" Daisy asked her boyfriend.
"I'm going to get my superhero phone. The roaming charges are killer. If you guys can keep me from getting eaten, I'd be happy." And with that he dove into the water.
"He has a death wish. That's the only possibility. He wants to die." Crystal said.

Kyle swam to the bottle, hoping to find his moribites soon. If he needs to go back up for air the coolness would be ruined. He could hear the shark surging towards him, obviously looking to make a meal out of him. Only feet from being turned into fish food, a trio of human shaped torpedoes hit the Shark and smashed it into the wall.
The shark shook its head and looked forward. Floating in front of it was GaoBlue, Shark Spirit Ranger, and KyoryuViolet.
Sentai with Dangerous aquatic animals.
As Shark Considered his next move, he saw movement in the corner of his eyes and was shot several times by GokaiRed as he shot to the surface.

Daisy let out a sigh of relief as Kyle, Tommy, Sean, and Rachel all leapt out of the river and landed on the shore, the wounded Shark climbing out after them.
The leader of the pirate Sentai stood forward, holding his hand in front of his face and clicking his fingers
"Gokai Red!"
Tommy stepped up next, placing his hand on the top of his helmet, as though adjusting his hat.
"Gokai Blue!"
Crystal joined them, waving her hand briefly in a dismissive motion.
"Gokai yellow!"
Deion smacked his hands together, brushing off his shoulder and flexing his muscles.
"Gokai Green!"
Daisy followed up the roll call, holding her hand in front of her and kneeling briefly.
"Gokai Pink!"
Sean went next by striking a pose with his left arm over his chest and his right arm stretched out with only his thumb, index, and middle fingers pointing out.
"Gokai Black"
Rachel raised her hand up, slowly lowering it before spinning around and spreading her arms in challenge.
"GooooooKaiSilver!"
Straightening at the same time, they tighten the glove on their rights hands, stepping forward and tugging at their collars, showing off the logo of their team before assuming their final pose.
"Kaizoku Sentai: GOKAIGER!"
The team pointed their guns at Shark and opened fire, charging at him. As the Seven fought him off they were attacked from behind by a trio of Trigomen.
"Damnit! Tommy, Crystal, with me!" Kyle said as the three lined up.
"Gokai Change!
LIIIIIIVEMAN!
As the three pirated liveman fought the green and black advanced troops, Daisy, Deion, Sean and Rachel fought against Shark.
"Gokai Change:
GOOOOOOO-BUSTERS!"
With Sean changing into Black Buster and Rachel changing into Green Buster, they joined with Beet and Stag Buster as they attacked Shark with everything they had. They used their guns and staffs to keep him off balance, leading him further away from the lake. The more distance they put between him and a body of water, the better they felt their chances would be.
Meanwhile, the Trigomen, while much more dangerous than the Sugomin, were getting defeated in an up close and personal fight against the three battle trained Sentai warriors. The moment the three baddies exploded, Kyle, Tommy, and Crystal were back into the fight. Working together, the seven struck powerful blows, sending Shark flying back as they changed back into Gokaiger, putting their keys into their weapons.

The seven attacks hit their mark, causing the Shark to fall backwards onto the ground, exploding in a bright flash of fire.
The seven took a deep breath.
"Glad to be done with that." Deion said, moments before a pair of purple lasers struck the ground from orbit, causing it to grow.
"You had to say something!" Crystal said as they all backed up.
"Kyle, we need the big guns!" Tommy said. As Kyle took out his moribites, the Jushen ZhangJiDui teleported in. All seven of them, armored and ready to fight.
"Just what we need." Daisy said. Rachel heard her Gokai Cellular ringing and answered it.
"Kyle, I just got a call from a friend. Basco is going after Ryosuke Sakamoto! Red One!" Rachel told him urgently. "If you hurry you might be able to stop him!'
"Can you guys handle this?" Kyle asked.
"Yeah. We've got it. Go!" Deion told him. Kyle morphed into Red-Buster and took off as fast as he could.
"You and Sean deal with big fish. We'll do what we can down here." Tommy said. Sean and Rachel nod, summoning their mechas, forming GoZyuJin Tank-Armament and battling him as the rest of the team changed into Flashman and attacked.

Rachel grunted as they struck Shark with the Drill Arm, before delivering a kick. Glancing at their monitor, she cursed as she saw their friends getting beaten. It was pure math. Four Gokaiger vs. seven ZhangiJi.
"They're getting creamed down there." Rachel said as they fired Driller missiles at Shark. They were getting close to their finishing move, and she was getting antsy. However, at the same time this was happening, the Gokaiger were went flying back, and the Jushen ZhangiJi Dui were getting ready for a finish of their own.
"Go, help them. I'll finish here." Sean said.
"Can you do it?" Rachel asked; already out of her seat and heading to the door.
"Yes, now go!" He said, sitting in her chair as he grabbed the wheels.

"To bad we're parting so soon. This is fun." Kai said as his team leveled their blasters at the Gokaiger and fired.
As the energy shots soared at their targets, Rachel flew to the ground, putting all her courage, conviction and determination and dreams into one thought: One wish.
GokaiSilver: GOOOOLD MODE!
That was what the teams heard as Rachel landed on the ground, using her Gokai Anchor to strike the attacks, sending them away from her team.
"What did you say about parting? Are you guys going away?" Rachel asked, twirling her modified weapon. As her friends got to their feet and rejoined her, The Shark was destroyed and Sean leapt to the ground.
"Damn, I guess we'll have to deal with you guys later." Raven said as the seven teleported out.
"Thanks for the save babe." Crystal said, sitting on the ground.
"Does anyone know what happened to Kyle and Basco?" Daisy asked.

Basco smirked as he cornered his target on the rooftop of a five story building.
"You lead me on a good chase Mr. Bioman, but now I get what I deserve." He smugly said, placing his Rapperatta to his lips and playing. Ryosuke let out a yell of pain as his body was surrounded by golden flame, which flew at the trumpet.
Centimeters from entering the magical instrument, a shot flew out, striking it and sending it out of Basco's hands and clattering to the ground. Basco snarled as the golden flames of the Bioman power returned to Red One. Glancing over, he saw GokaiRed approaching, his gun smoking.
"You'll get what you deserve?" Kyle quoted. "Can you give me a more perfect entrance line?"
"Are you sure you want to waste time with me? Aren't your friends in trouble?" Basco asked annoyed.
"Not as much as you. Here's my idea. Why don't you and I fight? Winner gets Bioman." Kyle suggested. Basco raised his eyebrow, and shifted into his Monster form.
"Very well then. Let's go!" Basco said.
Kyle charged at Basco, going for a jump kick which was dodged. Basco spun and tried to kick Kyle back, but the Red ranger blocked it, and went for a punch, which Basco deflected, before going for a punch of his own. Kyle grabbed Basco's arm and locked him in an armbar. Confident in his grip, Kyle snapped out a kick, and was shocked when Basco did a side flip, moving around the arm lock and gripping Kyle's wrist at the same time, twisting him to the ground with a thud. As the red ranger tried to spring to his feet, Basco once again grabbed him, quickly spinning him around and sending Kyle flying into the alley, slamming into the wall and falling down, landing hard on the ground.
Basco made a play at wincing at the indent the red ranger made when he was slammed into the wall. Leaping down, the privateer grabbed his opponent, hauling him to his feet and throwing him into the wall at the end of the alley. Basco ran at him, pulling his fist back for a punch, but Kyle counted by slamming his knee into his opponent's stomach. Grabbing Basco's shoulder, Kyle started slamming his forearms into his face, over and over, but after a few blows Basco blocked his blow and went for a forearm shot of his own, but Kyle managed to duck under it, Basco 's strength destroying the section of the wall he hits.
Kyle shoved Basco into the wall, trying to keep his arm trapped between his face and the wall. Slamming his knee into Basco's lower back, then a snap kick across that same point, his moment was ruined when Basco snapped his head back, hitting his head against Kyle's, stunning him enough to be pushed back, and Basco capitalized by delivering a kick, sending the red ranger sliding back. Basco ran, grabbing Kyle and flipping him, slamming him onto the lid of a dumpster.
Kyle groaned before he was dragged off the dumpster and onto his feet, before getting kicked in the stomach, sending him back into the dumpster. Kyle growled, grabbing the lid of the dumpster, holding himself up as he lifts his legs, and kicking Basco back. Basco slid back a bit, but grabbed Kyle's feet, pulling hard and sending the red ranger at the wall.
Kyle twisted himself a bit to the right, grabbing the ground and using it as leverage before flipping himself around, his feet landing on the wall and pushing himself off. Once his feet touch the ground he does a side jump, kicking Basco in the face. The Red Ranger kept up his momentum, tackling the red armored warrior into the dumpster, before backing up and slamming his shoulder back into his stomach.
Basco grunted and lifted his knee, slamming it into Kyle's chest, before slipping down on the ground, grabbing Gokaiger's collar and pulling, slamming his head into the dumpster, which at this point looked like some weird art piece given all the dents and such. Taking a page out of Kyle's book, Basco curled his legs, pressed them against Kyle's chest and shoved him back with all of his impressive might. The American flew back, slamming into the wall, where he stayed due to how much he was indented in the wall.
Basco grabbed the dumpster and heaved with all his might, throwing it at Kyle. The dumpster hit, sending it, and its target, through the wall and into the next building. Basco took his time walking around. Smirking when he saw the unmorphed Kyle lying on the ground, trapped by the dumpster, which he was struggling to push off.
Smirking, he changed back into his human disguise.
"Well well well. It looks like you're having some trouble. But don't worry." Basco said, holding out his gun and pointing it at Kyle. "I'll be happy to put you out of your misery."
Just as Basco was about to pull the trigger, gunshots rang out as the other six Gokaiger ran to their captain's aid.
"Looks like you got lucky, 'New Marvy-chan." Basco said before taking off running.
"Kyle, are you ok?" Daisy said as she kneels down next to him after Deion, Tommy, and Sean pushed the dumpster off him.
"I've been better. Red…bio guy, is he ok?" Kyle managed to get out, every breath hurting.
"He's ok. He gave us the BioMan power. So Basco won't be going after him anymore." Crystal said.
"Great. So, I'm gonna sleep some." Kyle said before passing out.
"Come on guys. We all deserve some rest." Sean said as he and Deion lifted Kyle up and took him outside so they can summon the Galleon.

After Kyle went to sleep the team gathered in the main room and began talking. However, suddenly the entire Galleon pitched to the side as it began to storm.
But this was no ordinary storm.
"What's going on?" Crystal yelled as they all tried to regain their footing.
"Look outside!" Deion shouted, running to the window, followed by the others. The clouds were changing colors and green lightning was striking everywhere, followed by a multicolored tornado starting to form from the clouds.
"We need to get out of here!" Daisy yelled as they ran to the bridge, where Kyle was already there struggling with all his might to move the ship away. But as their captain worked his magic on the ship, the others watched as the town they had been passing over, and trying to escape, was sucked up into the tornado. And not the usual tornado suckage. Entire chunks of the town were being sucked into the wind tunnel and disintegrating as it was taken up further.
Almost as quickly as it arrived, it left. Total time: 1 minute 31 seconds.
"What what….what was that?" Rachel asked in horror, as they all looked at the Okutama, Tokyo once was. Now there was a hole in the ground, with tiny spots of something left behind.
"Was that the Zangyack?" Tommy asked. Kyle's hand clenched the wheel so tight his knuckles turned white.
"No. Remember how I've been saying if we don't get that genie back things are going to go bad? You just saw an opening act of that." Their leader said in anger. The group was shocked, realizing that their time was running out.

Ok, I hope this chapter didn't disappoint. I wanted to do a lot and I think I got a lot done in it, and in a way that was good to read.

Kyle got his feet as the door opened. For the past while, Kyle had needed someone to talk to about what's been happening. A fresh take on the situation if you will. With advice from Jason David Frank, Kyle had found someone who fit the bill.
And that's how it was that Kyle ended up seeing a psychiatrist.
Oh what Sam would say if she knew?
"Please, come inside." The man's cultured voice spoke, standing aside to allow him entry. Once they were both inside and sitting down, they began to talk, going over various events.
"So, tell me why you called this session." The man asked.
'I screwed up big. I thought we needed to be fresh and crisp. I forbid my team from practicing, training. I didn't want to chance being tired when we had to move. They knew I'd think like that. They knew I'd make the choice I did. That's why they waited so long."
"Is there any way you could have known the exact nature of their plan?" The man asked Kyle.
"I should have. I should have tried to plan like I was fighting myself, which is what I was doing." Kyle replied.
"But in our last meeting you stated you intended to do that anyway. Which is why you said you wouldn't be around. You wanted to be with your team so that when the inevitable attack happens, you could be ready. Foresight is a great tool, but you can't see into the future. You have to make the choice based on the information you have at the time." The man told him. "Now, what do you intend to do?"
"I'm not sure. Part of me wants to make an offensive, but another part of me is worried that's what they want me to do. For the first time I honestly have no clue what my next move is." Kyle confessed.
"Who says you have to carry this burden using only your shoulders? You may be the captain, but you have a crew that is dedicated to the same cause as you. It's also possible you're pushing yourself to hard and are starting to burn out, which would help no one. My best advice would be to talk with your friends. It's very possible that someone else might come up with a plan better then what you have." The man told him. Kyle nodded.
"Yeah, your right." Kyle said, rubbing his eyes.
"I hope I am." The man said with a smile, standing up. "It's getting late. Would you like to join me for dinner? We can use that time to talk more about your friends?
"Sure, thanks." Kyle said as he got up and grabbed his jacket. The two walked out of the room and Kyle glanced at the sign on the side of the building.
