Chapter 45: The Warm up!

Bardock eyes were wide open his mouth hung open a jar, his body shaking in fear. Sweat was dripping down the old Sayian warriors face due to the fact he had been previously protecting his Grandson from any projectiles from the clash between Piccolo and Friezia. But what was bearing down on his grandson now was no mere rock but the true might of the galactic conquer lord Friezia.

Everything seemed to slow down as Bardock gulped taking hold of his fear he was a true Sayian warrior he would face death straight on. As if in a trance the Sayian gathered energy into his hand an odd feeling of deja vu occurred to him as if had faced this down once before or perhaps in another life. The Sayian threw his head back and laughed manically as the white energy in his hand intensify as the Sayian pulled all his Ki into his Final spirit Cannon. The old Sayain could see the Namek Piccolo was desperately trying to reach his Grandson behind him in order to protect the boy. But Bardock would not look back he would face his death head on he no longer had fear.

"Freiza I'm coming for you, You murderous self serving traitor!" Bardock roared the words coming to him naturally. "It's Over!... No Way Frieza you've lived long enough! Actually it's been to long for my taste! Friezia listen up we quit all of us! Got it! We don't work for you anymore! Were Free ! You can find someone else to do your dirty work ! Oh yeah their's one last thing! This is for all the people we killed in your name! Here HAVE IT !

Bardock fired the last of his energy at the incoming Death ball knowing that it would have little impact and would not save the Sayian wouldn't run he would face down his impending doom if he was going to die at the hands of the tyrant who had ordered him to take countless lives he would do it head on. Not just for him and his Sayian pride but for the people he had killed if this was the cost of his crimes Bardock would pay it.

The Sayain threw his hands out to his sides making himself a bigger target hoping that his body would be able to take the majouity of the attack so his grandson and the Nameks would have a better chance of survival.

"KAO-KEN TIMES TEN"

A red blur smashed into Bardock throwing the Sayian to the ground in an instant next to Gohan and Dende. The old Sayian blinked in surprise at his sudden new location just as the Namek Piccolo arrived. The tall green man threw his broken body on top of Gohan and Dende to shield the children.

Boom!

The explosion burst Bardock's ears as pure white engulfed his vision. The Sayian knew death was most likely painful as his body was tossed around by the force of the explosion as it rag dolled uncontrollably on the ground but he did not think it would be so noise as the ground shook and cracked beneath him as the planet shook. The Sayian also didn't expect death to take so long or for the powerful winds to crash of powerful winds to thunder across his body. Though the Sayian did reason with himself that his death was probably a troublesome experience because he was passing on to hell to be tortured as penitence for his sins while he was alive.

Sure enough as the deafening echos of crashing rubble faded away and the white light began to fade away Bardock could see a single red flame above him with an all to familiar glow.

"This is it" Bardock thought to himself until he relished that his vision was clearing up a little more and he could see the familiar green skies of Namek once more. Doing a double take on the red flame above him the Sayian relished it was none other than his very own son. His second child Goku.

~DBAT~

The brillent red aura of the Kao-Ken tecnique glowed brightly around Goku as he slowly lowered his arms that he had used to take the impact of the attack that had been intended to kill his son. Quickly surveying his surroundings Goku could see a large pile of rubble caused by the aftermath of the death ball collide against him had covered up the area were he could sense Piccolo, Dende and Gohan's Ki signatures.

"Good" The young Sayian thought to himself "Piccolo got to Gohan and Dende in time. he can get them to safety while i finish dealing with Friezia"

Looking up his arms as his side's in his usual relaxed stance the Sayian could see the tyrant lord above him. The frustrated scowl on the pure white face was telling as the tyrant crossed his arms and flouted down across from Goku to be at the same height as the Sayian.

"Please do tell how everyone i seem to kill on this planet keep coming back to trouble me again" The Tyrant said coolie looking up at the space were the Fused Namek of Nail and Guru had been before and suddenly disappeared. "Tell me am i just losing my touch or am i missing something..."

A sudden terrifying and irritating thought crept up in the tyrant's mind anwsering the lord's question instantly. An angry scowl contorted the tyrants face making him appear ugly revealing his true evil and malice.

"The Dragonball's don't tell me they wasted my wish on bringing you back to life!" Friezia growled extending his left hand out a ball of ki immediately forthcoming in his malice aimed directly for the planets surface. The intent was clear. "Please tell me it's not the case otherwise i am done with this back water planet."

"I wouldn't do that if i was you" Goku said calmly his red aura had vanished from view. "The Dragonball's are still around not that you will ever get your wish."

"Oh" Friezia said coyly immediately stopping his planet destroying attack as it was confirmed that it would still be an asset for him. "And i suppose your planning on stopping me. Heaven knows it worked out well for you last time"

The tyrant threw his head back and laughed his cocky sadistic calculating personality returning to the surface once more. Oh how he loved toying with the weak.

"Come now my good monkey" The tyrant said with mocking politeness. "I am busy and i can't spare the time to humour you with you little games. Life is too short to hang around. However if you could kindly point me to the Dragonball's so i can get my wish i will literally have all of the time in the world to amuse you. Think of it as a present to you"

"That's a tempting offer" Goku said calmly a cocky calm smile upon the Sayian's face. "But i came here to fight, however i don't think it's worth it judging by your injuries your in no condition to face me. It wouldn't be fair and i want to fight you at your best. So here's the deal you change your ways and leave the planet and go heal. Once you have recovered then i will face you i want a good sparing partner to test my strength on and i hear your pretty strong."

"You little monkey's always know how to amuse me" Friezia growled clearly not amused. "Your such a primitive species so un-evolved, Maybe to a primitive like you wound such as this would be life threatening but it is merely a minor annoyance to a superior being like me."

"I'm not sure about that" Goku replied self assured. "Your right hand is completely gone. i would suggest you take my offer i don't want to fight someone who isn't at their best."

"Not at my best" Friezia snarled clearly rattled by the Sayian's words.

"No" The tyrant thought to himself "I won't allowed myself over a filthy monkey" Instantly the tyrants body language changed becoming more relaxed and loose. His voice also returned to it's usual polite mocking tone.

"I haven't even shown you my best yet in fact i think it is you who need's a handicap if you are to have any chance of defeating me I'll kill you with out the use of either of hands" To illustrate his point the tyrant moved both of his arms behind his back as he stood up tall.

"Come on now that's not fair" Goku moaned "This will be no challenge at all"

"Oh trust me this is more than fair" Friezia chuckled his crackling purple aura bursting around the tyrant as he began to power up.

"If your not going to stop i guess i'm going to have to defeat you" Goku replied dropping into his stance.

Crack!

Friezia had zipped out of sight reappearing before Goku the Tyrant had aimed a deadly right knee towards the Sayian's face however Goku blocked the attack with an open left hand. The Frost Demon's attack wasn't finished the right knee merely being a decoy the tyrant twisted sending a left kick towards the Sayian's face which Goku instinctively blocked with his right forearm the Sayian didn't expect the yank on his foot from Friezia's Tail that the tyrant had wrapped round one of Goku's feet. While The Sayian had been blocking his other blows. With a simple flick the Frost Demon sent the Sayian towards the ground.

Goku merely twisted in the air and recovered immediately twisting to face the tyrant who was on him instantly with a barrage of kicks and tail slaps. The Sayian was getting pushed backwards in mid-air despite the fact Friezia was not using his hand or arms to fight with the Young Sayian was clearly on the defensive and even then he was only able to block the majority of the tyrants not all of them some blows would connect finding their target.

"wow" Goku thought despite the importance of the fight he was having the Sayain couldn't help being impressed by the power and skill of his opponent. At this rate the Sayain from Earth would lose the battle if he did not increase his power."This guy's amazing i guess i am going to have to tap into Kao-Ken after all"

His heart pumping with excitement of battling a strong opponent Goku used a split second break in the tyrants attacks to focus his energy.

"Kao-Ken" The Sayain roared the red aura engulfing him once more.

"Don't think that pitiful technique will help you" Friezia growled the purple aura intensifying around the tyrant as he smashed a right knee into Goku's chest. "I've seen it before and trust me any power boost you get will be insignificant compared to my strength."

"I wouldn't be so sure" Goku smiled as he spat blood from his mouth from the impact of the blow. "I'm only getting started."

~DBZ~

"That fool" King Kai growled angrily waving his hands around as he moved forward.

Causing Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Tien and Marster Roshi to stumble after the north deity as they held onto his back while they watched their friends battle on planet Namek.

"What's wrong King Kai? Goku hasn't even got started with that tyrant Friezia yet he's only using the basic forum of Kao-Ken i'm sure he will win" Yamcha said confidently.

"Yeah if i know Goku he's warming up testing Friezia out before he starts taking this battle to the next level" Tien added remembering his previous fights with his old rival.

"That's exactly the point" The god yelled turning on his new students. "Friezia is not someone you toy around with or warm up against he is one of the strongest being's in all of the universe his power is basicly endless. He far outclasses any foe you have ever fought. He is pure evil and will not hesitate to do any despicable deed to get what he want's. Goku should use all his strength now while Friezia is being cocky and has his guard down and try to take him out now. It is the only way to win!"

"You can't be serious" Yamcha argued back "Look at him that tyrant is finished he has battle both Piccolo and that Vegeta guy and look at the damaged he took I'm surprised he's still standing after all that damage. Nope Goku will finish this off with ease just you wait."

"Silence" Mater Roshi roared taking everyone including King Kia by surprise by it's authority. "King Kia is right have you not been watching the fight? your mind are all too clouded by your faith in Goku that you can't see what is really going on. Friezia is a being from a different species who knows how his anatomy is compared to ours a deadly shot in the chest to us could be nothing to him for all we know he could regenerate like the Nameks do. we have know idea what he is capable off and do i need to remind you he lost his right hand because it was artificially created and it could not hold his true power within it. And he got the hole in his chest due to being distracted and taken by surprise. No this fight is far from over Goku is going to have to push past all of his limits if he has any hope of winning."

A drily silence quickly fell about the group as a great sense of dread cross the faces of Tien and Chiaotzu.

"But he can win right?" Yamcha replied breaking the silence. "This is Goku were talking about he always finds a way to push though."

"Every man has his limits" Marster Roshi said sadly "I hate to say it but i think we will see the boy reach his limits today and i don't this it will be enough."

"Come on Goku" King Kia roared shouting at his student down on Namek from the heavens. "I know i've told you to limit the multiplier of Kao -Ken but now is the time to break this rule finish this fight quickly now!"

King Kia waved his hand around in frustration as he stepped from one foot to another.

"I swear i am getting to old for all this drama! Goku you are going to be the death of me!"

~DBAT~

"Kao-Ken times five" Goku roared his red aura intensifying as his power increased.

The sudden boast in his opponents speed and power caught the tyrant by surprise. Having sent a right knee towards the Sayians chest the Frost demon was surprise to find it passed though Goku's alter image.

"Dam" Friezia yelled annoyed at himself for falling once again for the same trick. "You won't catch me out monkey!"

The Lord roared twisting in mid air to catch Gokus right arm with his left footed talons before somersaulting over the Sayain to smash Goku in the back with his right foot. The blow knocked the Sayain forward slightly but it was not enough to stop the warrior from earth twisting around to catch the incoming left kick between his arm and his body locking it into place.

"Oh yeah i wouldn't be so sure" Goku yelled back confidently throwing his left hand forward and firing a Ki blast towards the Frost Demon's body.

Though slightly caught of guard the Frost Demon's reflexes were well practice without a second thought Friezia kicked the ball away into the air like a football before bringing the foot down towards the young warriors head. However Goku was expecting this with each passing second of the battle he was learning more and more of the galactic tyrants fighting style and was beginning to predict his moves.

Catching Friezias foot in his left hand Goku held on tight as he began to spin in mid-air building momentum with each passing second.

"I got you now" Goku yelled triumphant smile upon his face.

The young Sayian was excited eager to test his strength a truly powerful opponent who was clearly a skilled fighter but Goku was confident he could win this battle he had come so far in the last couple of years taking great leaps and bounds in his martial arts training. Attaining new levels of power and skill he couldn't have even have comprehended before his brother Raditz appeared on Earth.

Goku was in his element when he was in the mist of a fight nothing could break his concentration even the yells of his previous masters King Kia and Master Roshi telling him to finish the fight quickly would not stop the Sayian. Goku had no intention of killing Friezia regardless of the tyrants sin's from the past he hoped such as many others in the past he could defeat the tyrant and make him reform re-think his ways become a better person. Turn his life around and use his power for good.

Friezia on the other hand was not amused by the Sayian's shenanigans and was only allowing himself to be spung round to have some time alone to his thoughts.

"The last time i saw this Sayian he was pathetic. he wasn't able to even compete with my weakest form and now he is fighting me in my true form and though i haven't revealed my true power yet. It certainly is an impressive gain in power in merely a couple of days unheard of in fact. Even Vegeta who i thought was the strongest Sayain alive a prodigy showed me powerful gain's like this it's absurd it makes me wonder..." A knowing smirk appear on Friezia face a thought popped into his mind. "No it couldn't be possible after waiting for years patiently allowing the filthy monkeys to thrive under my control i have found one... I would have wiped out the pitiful race long ago if i didn't hear of the legend of a Sayain warrior that stood out above others. A super Sayian. When i first heard of such a tale i scoffed at it then i will admit i got a little bit worried if a warrior of such a thing did exist they could challenge me even defeat me ! Ha! What a fool i would have been to have acted on such a thing as fear when instead their was such potential to acquire this power. This warrior and have them under my command. An army of super elites would allow me to once again challange the Southern ruler! The barstard has been making my life a living hell since me and my family lost to him. The man that destroyed my home plant and took my right hand as a loyalty payment. I'l show him ! I'll have my revenge"

Without even thinking the Frost demon's power level had risen rapidly the purple aura that burst around him and the seer force of the air pressure that was pushed out by the seer power of the tyrant was enough to cause Goku to lose his grip and be flung backwards a couple of feet.

A broad grin was etched across the Sayian's face excited at the prospect of fighting such a powerful foe.

"I knew you were holding back" The Sayian beamed when the tyrants aura had final settled down and become more stable. "I knew i hadn't seen your true potential."

"How cleaver of you" Friezia replied his eyes closed a small smirk etched across his face."Most of your kind don't relish they are being toyed with their brutish mind's are too bullish to relies but you are not like the others. I couldn't see it before but now it's fitting into place. Jumping in to save the Namek's wasn't just to prevent me from getting the Dragonball's no you actually wanted to protect them. How strange i have had the misfortune to meet and lead many of your race but none of them have really truly put others above themselves."

"Well i'm not your average Sayain. I hit my head as a child after i was sent to Earth and forgot everything. My grampa Gohan taught me a better way to live. A path that you too can lead" Goku replied not thinking about the precious information about his orgins he had given away.

"Earth?" Friezia asked curiously. "I don't remember that planet what with running a very profitable business with the planet trade. Regardless i don't care about a significant planet like that what i am intrigued in is you. What is your Name Sayian. "

Goku was stunned the tyrant was actually having a conversation with him and though he was itching to proceed with combat the Sayian wasn't turning down a chance to talk to the Frost demon maybe he was finally getting though to him?

"Goku"

"That's dosen't sound like a Sayian name to me" Friezia scowled his lips twisting confused.

"Thats because that's the name my Grandpa Gohan gave me on Earth. My father named me Kakarot that is my Sayian name"

The tyrant was now very confused Kakarot was defiantly a Sayian name very common amongst lower class warrior family's to their second child in honour of their hero Kakarotosh a third class Sayian hero that raised up among the riffraff to face the very King of Sayian's at the time. It was merely an old wifes tale a legend but clearly this Sayian before him was from a third class family to have such a name but to raise to this level of power was simple unheard of. However it was not impossible if this truly was the power house the tyrant wanted in his army a super Sayian. But it was the other name that truly confused the lord he talked of this Granpa Gohan charter with such tenderness could he have possible befriend an inhabitant of a planet he was supposed to wipe out how peculiar ?

"Apologies for the question" Friezia said politely which was such a complete tone shift it took Goku completely of guard and made him uneasy especial since the tyrant was addressing him so formally with a gaping hole in his chest. "But curiosity is getting the better of me. This Grampa Gohan your keep refering to? Is he an inhabitant of Earth yes?"

"Well Yeah" Goku replied confused. "He was the one that found me after i landed on Earth he raised me."

"Interesting" Friezia replied it was not unheard of for Sayain babies that were sent of to conquer planets being adopted by the natives and raised by them until they grew strong enough to wipe out the planet. In fact it was an age old tacit with particular weak planets a good way to get rid of useless Sayain trash. "How old were you when you finished your mission?"

"Finish my mission" Goku replied his confused voice turning more concerned. "You mean destroying the planet population?"

"Yes yes" The Frost demon snapped his patience running out.

"I never did that mission. In fact i protect the Earth and friends their with my life" Goku said sturnly his guard was already up. The Sayian was starting to not trust the Frost Demon's motives especially with the yells of King Kia and his dead friends scolding him for talking about Earth and telling Friezia the name of their home planet. but also urging the Sayian to attack.

"Very odd, you were sent on a mission to kill the planet and deiced to become it's protector" The tyrant replied before throwing his head back and cackling manically.

"What so funny about that" Goku retorted the red hot flames of Kao-ken instantly forming around him.

It was several moments of hysterical laughter before the Frost Demon was composed enough to talk.

"I'm so sorry" He wasn't. "But i was just laughing at myself i think i made a huge error in judgement."

Friezia couldn't believed he allowed himself to think this soft hearted, brain damaged Sayian was indeed the legendary super Sayian. The legend told of a merciless killing machine that would ruthlessly chew up it's enemies or any that dared stand in it's path or be misfortune enough to get in the way. Not some foolish softy who had made it's own and been adopted by a pathetic weak race.

"I have wasted too much time on you already" The Frost Demon scowled his whole posture instantly changing. His face contorted in rage. "I need to gather the Dragoballs and make my wish you are just pro-longing your fate. Now do yourself a favour and hold still i promise your death will be painless."

In a flash the tyrant had extended his left hand out from behind his back his index finger pointed at the Sayain's chest as he fired his death beam.

Goku seeing the danger dodged out of the way of the attack only to hear a sickening thud and pain shoot though his face as the Frost Demon zipped into his path and smashed the Sayian with a left hook.

"I told you to hold still you filthy monkey" The tyrant roared.

It was clear the warm up was over. The true battle had begun.

hello hello. Man has it been a long time almost a year? if not longer? If you are an old fan reading this thank you so so so much for sticking with me for this long and sorry for the delay i know i am a pain i truely am and i know it. If your not and your new hello thank you for reading my story hope you enjoyed it.

It had been too long since i have had the time to sit down and write again way to long but to be fair to myself my life has honestly just been so hectic and busy. I became head chef were i worked got a new girlfriend and well just not really had time to write this story. But i missed it and to be honest i want to finish it so i am going to try and start finding time to write even if it's once a week i will start making new chapters and updating this story slowly but surely. I know i have said this countless times before but please be patience it will be worth the wait i promise i have ideas and plot point all planned out till the android arc which will have far more twist and turns than what i have already done rest assured. Just give me time and i will make it :) Without further ado the Q&A.

1 From Autonomous Also, I mean sure frieza can Still fight efficiently with the hole in his chest and whatnot but some ki and power should be lost I think in addition to lesser ability to fight due to 1 arm being useless

Also piccolo after regenerating as often as bunnies multiply his power should have dropped considerably, so one does wonder how long it would take to wear him out so his power drops to less than 75% frieza's
Also, did piccolo just explode, or did frieza death beam through his stomach before he could fully activate his power.

Me: I honestly don't think the hole in his chest could really effect Frieza too much apart from being an obvious weak point. Like he would lose a bit of Ki but not a huge amount. This is a guy who got chopped in half, smashed inside the planet surface by an enrage albeit weakened Goku and then blown up by the planet and still survived. In fact if you think about it the most damage done to Friezia before meeting up was from his own attacks. Getting chopped in half by his own death saucers and blown up with the planet caused by his death ball. And not only did he survive all this he survived for days if not weeks until he was picked up in the void of space by his father. To be honest his durability is insane it's mind boggling and he's probably the most durable characters in the whole series if not the most durable if you exclude Cell (who has his dna anyway) and Majin Buu (who is a magically created rubber ball thing :P ). So honestly i wouldn't see a small hole dropping his power significantly.

Piccolo is beyond burnt out i felt like he was clutching at straw he had to throw everything he could possible do but at this point he's simple out classed at the moment theirs nothing he could do. But the muilti-form new tecnique might come in handy later in the story ;). And as you can see now it was Goku who blocked the death ball attack he arrived in time. Piccolo is now looking after Gohan and dende under the rubble waitting for his chance to get them away to safety.

2. From Adc So now since piccolo and guru are seperate can they fuse back again and get the power boost once more or this type of multi form means they can't fuse back again or something?

Me: Guru and Nail are apart of Piccolo and in time the two other Namek's will fuse into Piccolo's sub-conscious and he probably won't be having physical chats with them again as their mind's become one. Basically with Guru's knowledge and the fact he has two whole souls in his body. (well one and a half tecniquely since Guru has split himself up like Kami did but thats for later in the story ;) ) He could put actualy fully fledge souls into his multi form technique rather than dividing himself. So not only dose it make the clone more studyier so to speak it also makes it harder to fight against as Piccolo dose not have to focus on what the other one of his is doing as it's a completely seperate entity. And since their fighting styles are so different as well it's litrally like fighting two fighters at once. And yes they can always fuse back together they already have. It's a tecnique Piccolo tried off the cuff which worked out but is no were near perfected it would take alot of trainning and time to make it last a very long time in battle.

3. From Fender bender Man you really need a Beta to check through your spelling errors and grammar overall, its pretty bad. No offense, of course. The story is still a rather good idea, better than most I've read on this site and that's saying something.

Still, there is always room for improvement. Just reread most of your chapters that you post, fixing mistakes and errors as you go, and editing some of the things you don't like.

Can you also post coherent Power Levels? Because the people in your story are stronger than in Canon, we as the readers would just like to know by how much...

Of course, if they get too big you could use other types of measurements to measure the power output, like the "Kili" that Babidi and Dabura used, or even something of your own creation.

I hope you continue this story, as it is a good one, and I can already see that your grammar is slowly but surely starting to improve as I read onwards. :)

I will re-read my chapters soon to get to grips of the chacters again and some of the sub-plots i had going on ect so if i pick anything up i will re-write it thank you. The power levels i always like to do at the end of an arc or a battle when it dosen't spoil whats going on. If i gave you a list of everyone power levels now in numbers it will spoil the plot twist that are coming up. Plus not going to lie i need to re-read everything to remind myself at what level of power everyone is on. But what i can do and i hope it helps is i can give you a pecking order sorts ;) To show you were everyone is in relation to eachother.

I know i haven't put in Kao-Ken but if i do that i ruin future surprises so bare with me.

4. Goc: Why didn't Friezia train for four months and defeat the southern ruler?

Me: Honestly and quite simply i began this story well before battle of gods even existed and before resurrection of F so i haven't written my story around that so yeah i can't incorporate that into my story so tecniquely Friezia potential in my story is none cannon. But then the whole thing is none story will never perfectly fit with cannon because its a fanfiction it's meant to be differen't i try not to go over the top and give my charcters powers that make no sense or over powered villien that appear out of know were but i will write a differen't story that makes sense and have things not seen in the main story. It's kinda the whole point really. And if i'm honest i never really like the whole trainning in four months thing it seems like a really big stretch to me i think it was more the writers wanted a really big well know villien to be revived in their next movie to up sales and exicitment and Friezia was their biggest and best. But with the now huge power difference at the current stage of Dragonball super and when he last appeared the writers had to give him an obscured jump in power just to be a match for Goku or Vegeta. I will try and cover Battle of Gods and Revival of F but it will be a complete retelling differen't from cannon because to be honest if i tried to do it exactly like the movies it wouldn't fit in this story. So in this story Beerus never told Freizia to blow up planet Vegeta in fact i don't even know if i will make Beerus aware of Friezia or have a link with Vegeta we will see thats a long way off yet :)
