Chapter 50: The False Super Sayian
Blood projected from Goku's mouth as Friezia fist connected against his stomach doubling the Sayian over in pain. But he knew he had to keep fighting instinctively the Sayian though a right handed fist into the tyrants jaw. The crack that was already on the Frost Demon mask began to break off in places slowly revealing the tyrants scowl.
"You just don't know when to give up" Friezia growled wiping his tail around and smashing Goku against his left cheek causeing another deep cut to appear on the Sayian's already mauled face.
"Masenko-Ha" Gohan roared firing the yellow beamed attacked into Friezia back.
The attack was nothing to the tyrant not even causing a scratch but it was enough to push him off balance slightly as the beam connected and pushed him forward. That was all Goku needed to upper cut with his left hand.
Crack!
Both Goku and Friezia screamed in pain the Sayian because of his broken left finger that the tyrant had broke earlier and the Frost Demon due to the fact his mask had been smashed off his face. Purple blood slowly dripped from the cuts across Frieza face.
"Raaahhhhh" the Tyrant roared as he threw a let hook which was blocked by Goku's right forearm.
The Sayian's body vibrated from the blow but the Sayian stood firm his blue eyes piercing though the tyrants. Goku knew he had to win he knew what the cost of defeat would be the only question was did he have the power? or the stamina? His body was burning in pain from where the Frost Demon had tortured him. He could only see out of his right eye which was not a real problem other than the pain due to the fact it was easy to sense the overwhelming dark aura Friezia produced. The real problem was he couldn't move his left leg as his knee was now broken and every time he threw a left handed punch it caused him agonising pain.
"I have only one option" Goku Thought to himself "I can't fight at a distance he's better at range than me and i can't kick with my left side. My whole left side is a burden right now. I got to keep close to him and give him a smaller target."
While still holding back the right fist Friezia had launched at him Goku turned his body so only his right side was facing the tyrant keeping the left side of his body as far away from the Frost Demon's attacks as possible.
The tyrant growled and threw a left handed jab which Goku quickly dodged out of the way.
Piccolo appeared behind the Frost Demon the Nameks hands where clasped above the Nameks head as the familar red glow of the Kao-Ken technique surrounded the Namek.
Crack!
Frieza tail flew out and smashed the Namek before his attack could land but it was enough of a diversion of the tyrants attention for Goku to smash a right knee into the white skinned aliens stomach. Gohan appeared by his fathers side and together their golden and red aura side by side they attack.
The Demi-Sayian able to move more easily and use all his limbs stayed in close attacking the mid section with a multitude of punches and kicks as his father heavily injuried but filled with the power of the Sayian's legendary transformation sent jab after jab at the face of his foe.
"Grrraaaahhhh" Frieza roared a powerful purple aura sparking into life around him with enough force and ferocity it sent Gohan flying back into his fathers body sending both fighters flying back in the air.
"I told you to run!" Goku growled the angrier that triggered his new transformation still burning bright within him. Especially as being knocked back had lost him the advatage he had gained. "Your getting in my way!"
"No!" Gohan snapped back. "You need mine and Mr Piccolos help you won't win with..."
Before Gohan could finish his sentence he was kicked away by the tyrants powerful right foot. Frieza snarled and turned to Goku before a smirk spread across his face.
"Sorry for the interruption" He sneered before launching a flurry of attacks towards his Super Sayian nemeses.
Goku block and dodged the incoming blows but that was all he could do as he was once again put on the back foot.
Crunch!
Right forearm blocked a left elbow.
Crash!
Right leg blocking a left footed kick.
Crack!
The attack had come to quickly the right handed punch would have connected against Goku's face he had to spin round and block it with his left elbow. But it left his weaken left leg exposed.
"ARRRRGGGHHHH" Goku screamed in agony as the tyrant used the opening and smashed the already broken left knee with a powerful right foot. The Sayian didn't want to look down he knew that the appendage was now twisted in such an awkward angle that if their wasn't any senzu beans on earth. he wouldn't be able to walk on it again.
Friezia looked at the golden haired warriors left knee with a satisfied smirk the knee cap was now facing completely inwards now facing the Sayians other knee cap. The tyrant didn't need the Sayian's screaming to know that he was in incredible pain.
"You lose" Friezia chuckled shooting a death beam into Goku's right shoulder. "Now give up and join me"
"Grrraaahhhh" Goku cried his right eye opening wide in shock.
He was almost defenceless now he had such immense power bursting inside of him. But because of the Frost Demon's telekinesis having held him in place and the resulting injuries he was fighting an impossible battle. He had so many weak points he couldn't cover them all. He couldn't move his mauled left leg and now his right hand hung uselessly at his side covered in blood that was pumping out of the whole left in his shoulder.
But the Sayian would not give up he would never surrender. He clenched his left hand into a balled fist as the golden aura that surrounded him burst brighter.
"I'll never surrender to the life of you" He Roared before charging.
The Sayian shoulder barged into the tyrant's chest with his right shoulder with all his might knocking the air out of Frieza. Piccolo and Gohan appeared either side of the tyrant their red aura still glowing brightly even though they where battered and injured from the few hits that had been landed on them.
The three fighters from Earth all attack the Tyrant at once sending as many barrages of punches and kicks they could muster his way. Trying to keep him on the defensive.
As the assault continued a Sayian space craft took off in the distance and burst off into outer space leaving Namek's wake and soon after this seven orange orbs aroused from the derbies off battle and flew off after the ship.

"So Bulma left them behind" Yamcha exclaimed in a mixture of relief and disappointment. "i can't believe she would do that"
"She had her reasons" Tien replied looking solemn "They all could have died if she stayed their"
"It's the best play" King Kai chimed in a sad expression upon his face. "They can't defeat Frieza at least this way he can't get his hands on the Dragonball's so he can't make his wish and once their back on Earth they can bring all of you back to life including Goku his son and Piccolo"
"Oh come on King Kai stop being so negative we have to believe they can do it" Yamcha said cheerily trying to keep the moral high. "Goku has been worse off than this and still won hell when he faced Piccolo he had a hole blown his chest. "
"And i broke every bone in his body and he still pretty much beat me" Tien said remembering their 22nd world martial art's tournament match.
"Your all forgetting that Goku is still only a man" Master Roshi said grimly "He can die. He was killed fighting his brother Raditz he can die again. Bulma made the right choice i still hope that Goku can pull it off i out of everyone know that when his back is up against the wall he always finds away to push past his limits. But still i think we need a miracle if he is going to win this battle. "
~DBAT~
Friezia had enough he had tried constantly to get Goku to join him. Gave multiple chances made bargains promise to no avail and now he was being attacked on all sides. Two where mere insects their blows stinging like a wasp but nothing more. The Super Sayian blows had more weight behind them and the tyrant knew he was truly the only threat. His patience wavering the Frost Demon decided that someone had to die an example had to be set if he killed the child then maybe the Sayian would join him in hopes of gaining the Dragonballs. And their wishes.
If not? Well it was another fly out of the way and the Frost Demon would just finish off the so called Super Sayian. Frieza had invested a lot of time and effort in his pet project of the Sayian's but he was more than willing to try something else he had already waited fifty years what was fifty more years especially if he had immortality.
"RAAAAHHHH" The tyrant roared as his purple aura burst around him.
Grabbing the Namek's around the face with a clawed right hand making sure to dig his nail's in to puncture the skin and draw out the Green skinned martial artist purple blood. The tyrant tossed Piccolo into Goku's mid-rift sending the two warriors flying into a rocky cliff face. The rocks cracked on impact and buried the two in the rubble.
The tyrant smiled as caught the boy's small right fist in his left hand and crushed it.
Gohan left out a blood curling scream of pain as he felt his bones crush and his hand squeezed into nothing. Red blood oozed though the tyrants white fingers as the red aura left the Demi Sayian.
The young boy felt dizzy and faint. He threw up as Friezia slowly lifted him up to eye level. The tyrant had a hungry look in his eye and a sadistic mad grin upon his lips. He leaned in close to whisper in Gohans ear. The young boy shivered in fear at the tyrants soft slow voice.
"That's for breaking my right hand earlier an eye for an eye so to speak." The Frost Demon voice was soft and childlike as if he was telling a bed time story. "I am going to kill you now"
He threw the young boy's limp body into the air before lifting his left palm out and firing a huge Ki blast ready to engulf Gohan's body.

Piccolo was on top of Goku's body when he heard Gohan's scream of pain and agony and the crunch as his hand was crushed into paste.
"No" Piccolo growled. "Not Gohan"
The Namek pressed his hands on the dirt soil below him and pushed upwards trying to lift himself back onto his feet and dislodged the rubble that was on top of him. This was one moment where Piccolo hated the fact he had such good hearing. Even underneath all the rubble and the sounds of Goku roaring as the Super Sayian too tried to get up and help his son the Namek could still hear Gohan sobbing in fear.
"NO!" Piccolo roared his Kao-ken surrounding him images of Gohan's face flashing in front of his vision. The green giant had been so ruffed to boy during their training yet Gohan still cared about him.
Tears started to pour down Piccolo's face he was afraid for Gohan's safety he knew the boy must have been terrified right now. It was the Namek's fault that Gohan was suffering he had let his guard down he had allowed the tyrant to grab him and throw him against Goku. He had allowed Gohan to separated from the group.
"That's for breaking my right hand earlier an eye for an eye so to speak"
Piccolo could hear Frieza taunting Gohan it filled the Namek with dread over the boy's safety and anger at the tyrant.
"How dare he" Piccolo growled.
"I am going to kill you now"
That sentence sent a shiver down Piccolo spine. Gohan was about to die. Images of Gohan's lifeless body began to form in Piccolo's mind. He heard the endless screams Of Gohan's death rang in his ears.
"NO! I WON'T LET YOU" Piccolo roared in a cry of anger the voices of Nail and Guru both telling him in his mind not to do what he was about to do. But the Namek's mind was made up he would save Gohan no matter the cost. Gohan was the first friend he ever had and Piccolo was not going to let him down.
"Kao-ken times twenty!"
The red aura exploded around the Namek vaporising the rocks around him instantly Goku was tossed in the air like a rag doll by the seer force of Piccolo's power.
The Namek sprang to his feet tears trickling down his face but he wore an expression of pure rage as he looked up at Friezia and the KI blast heading towards Gohan.
Piccolo could feel the pain ripping though his body. Could feel his skin burning and being ripped off by the pure power he was radiating but he didn't care he had already made his choice.
His pupils pure white the Namek flashed out of view reappearing in front of Gohan before the Ki blast.
"Mr Piccolo what are you doing?"
Piccolo could hear Gohan's small soft voice from behind him and smiled.
"Don't worry Gohan i won't let him hurt you anymore" Piccolo growled before placing two finger's upon his head.
"Special beam Cannon"
The spiral beam attack ripped though the Ki blast that had threatened to obliterate Gohan and tore though it instantly before making contact and passing though Friezia chest once more.
"Barstard!" The tyrant roared in anger "how do you all keep coming back stronger!"
But Piccolo didn't hear him. The Namek has pushed himself too far his body could not handle the multitude of the kao-ken power he had summoned.
King Kai warning that abusing the Kao-ken power had come to pass. The power had been to much and Piccolo's own power had torn his body to dust.
~DBAT~
On Earth Kami let out a gasp and leaned heavily against his cane panting in agony. He had felt his other half's pain and anger as he attempted to save Gohan.
"Kami what's going on" Popo cried out running to his masters side.
"Something truly amazing has happened" Kami said with a smile looking as his old friend as he began to fade in and out of view. "Piccolo has just sacrificed himself to save Goku's son i have to say i'm quite proud of him"
"But Kami if Piccolo is dead that means you will die too" Mr Popo cried with tears streaming down his face.
"I'm afraid so old friend" The guardian of Earth said with a smile. "Who would have thought the son of the demon king Piccolo would die saving the life of his father's killers son."
"Kami please don't go i need you" Popo yelled.
"I don't have a choice stay safe Mr Popo i hope i'll see you again"
Kami disappeared his cane feel against the look out with a clang as Mr Popo feel to his knees crying uncontrollable.

Goku charged Freiza enraged having seen the Frost Demon had been about to kill yet another one of his family members. Gohan was only alive due to Piccolo's noble sacrifice.
The Frost Demon once again with a whole in his chest wheezed as purple blood began to pump out of his wound the tyrant was infuriated at once again being taken off guard.
"These pest are more trouble than the worth!" He thought to himself before being smashed by a powerful left hook from Goku.
This time the Sayian didn't wince when his hand cracked he was too angry to feel pain to determined to win this battle to revenge Bardock and Piccolo the two began their furious assault on one another once more.
Up above the fierce battle was Gohan the Demi-Sayian eyes locked on the spot where Piccolo had been before he had been ripped out of existence. His arms laid by his side while blood slowly dripped from the stump that used to be his right hand and down towards the planets surface. The young boy was in shock unable to process the reality of the situation dawned on him.
"Piccolo dead" The thought pierced his height like cold icicles as tears began to run down his face. He no longer felt the pain of his right hand just the dull of nothingness. Gohan felt alone and lost as what transpired played before his mind. "He died to protect me"
Gohan's body began to shake uncontrollable as more tears feel.
"Like everyone else on Earth he died to protect me. He died because i was too weak to protect myself. I wasn't strong enough"
Gohan's left hand balled into a fist as a white hot aura burst around his small body he looked down at his father he still fighting the tyrant below. Would his father be next to die? Would everyone he ever love die at the hands of the tyrant? Because Gohan wasn't strong enough.
Images started to play before Gohan's eyes the young boy relived all the death of his friends only this time it was Frieza that had killed them. Yamcha, Tien, Chiotzu, Marster Roshi all lied in a heap on the floor all repeating the same thing with their mouths opened.
"Your fault"
The four warriors disappeared and suddenly Gohan was surrounded by thousands of Namek's all staring at him with hatred in their eyes.
"Why couldn't you save us!"
One cried from the crowd meet with cheers from the crowds.
"You came here to save your friends and look what happened where all dead"
Dende stepped out of the crowd and punch Gohan in the face knocking the Demi-Sayian to the floor the young Namek looked down at Gohan with disgust.
"We all died because you where weak and pathetic if you had been stronger maybe we would have survived."
The Namek's disappeared into the darkness that now surrounded Gohan with only a solitary figure appearing before him. Bardock.
The older Sayian had his arms cross around his chest and had his back facing Gohan. Slowly Bardock turned his head side ways to look at his grandson his face wore a clear disappointed expression.
"I guess i was wrong about you. How pathetic and hear i was thinking you would save us all."
The Sayian walked away leaving Gohan alone the young boy curled up in a ball and began to cry.
"Gohan snap out of it" A gruff voice yelled at him.
Sobbing the young boy looked up to see Piccolo looking down at him with his normal scowl.
"I'm sor-rry" Gohan sniffed looking up at his mentor. "I'm sorry that you died because of me."
Piccolo's frown grew and he snarled in anger.
"Died because of you? No Frieza was the one that killed me not you! I made the choice me to jump into the fight no one else did! And i would do it again if it meant saving you. Your my friend Gohan"
Gohan looked up his tears sub-siding for a moment as he croaked weakly.
"Your my friend?"
"Don't make me say it again" Piccolo said cooly and smiled softly.
Seeing the Namek smile filled Gohan with warmth and suddenly the Demi-Sayian felt alot lighter he was able to stand once more. Piccolo looked down as his student got up and his smile returned to his usual frown.
"Your fathers in trouble he needs your help ..."
Suddenly out of nowhere a white hand ripped though Piccolo's stomach spraying purple blood all over Gohan. The tyrant chuckled as he tossed the Namek's body to one side.
"How touching. Sorry to break up that little talk but i was getting bored." Frieza said calmly as he walked out of the darkness and towards Gohan. "Look you have no one left i killed them all"
Looking around Gohan could see the corpses of everyone he ever loved. His mother lay dead her neck broken. His father hair still bright gold had a hole in his chest lay broken on the ground. Krillin was their too the monks head had been decapitated. The Frost Demon laughed as he saw the hopelessness of the boy.
"You where too weak! You where no match for me! Join me now and i will spare you!" The tyrant threw his head back and laughed manically.
"No" Gohan said softly his head facing the black ground beneath his feet.
"What!"
"NO!" Gohan's voice was louder now and determination was clear in his tone.
"You fool!" Frieza roared launching a right handed fist towards Gohan.
Much to the tyrant surprise the Demi-Sayian caught the fist in his left hand and his head shot up. Gohan's pupils where pure white his teeth where clenched in rage.
"I WON'T LET YOU HURT ANYONE ANYMORE!" Gohan roared as his rage consumed him.
A golden aura sprung to life around the small boy finally illuminating the darkness within him.
~DBAT~
Goku was losing his fight. No matter how much strength he could muster the tyrant seemed to match it was almost as if the Frost Demon had an endless well of energy to tap into. Plus he still has all the use of all his limbs the Sayian was on the back foot desperately blocking the tyrant's assault trying to stay alive.
"GGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" The primal roar above them caused both Frieza and Goku to stop their brawl and look.
Gohan golden aura blazing around him was charging head first towards them. But the transformation that had occurred in the boy was completely different from his fathers.
Gohan's pupils where pure white his hair had still remained black. The Demi-Sayian form energy was unstable erratic.
Crunch!
The Demi-Sayian skull smashed against Frieza chest right in the hole that Piccolo left. The tyrant winced in pain. Another opening. Goku went to swing a left handed fist into the tyrants body but was knocked a side when Gohan took him by surprise. The young Boy smashed a left handed fist into the Sayian's unguarded face.
"Gohan what are you doing!" Goku roared in anger and confusion.
"Grrraaaahhhhhh" Gohan roared oblivious to his fathers cries.
The Demi-Sayian had lost control of his mind the power from within had consumed him he fought like a feral animal.
Spinning away from Goku, Gohan turned and fired a barrage at Frieza the Frost Demon lifted his arms up to block the barrage but was meet with a kick to the stomach as the young boy slipped under his guard and attack furiously.
Though it was clear the Demi-Sayian was not as strong as his father his blows carried enough weight behind them to cause damage.
"Pest" Frieza cried out in anger lashing out at Gohan with a powerful right hook. The boy didn't make a movement to dodge.
Crack!
Goku blocked the attack with his right knee before smashing Frieza jaw with a left jab knocking him back.
Gohan sprang up and kicked Goku in the stomach doubling the Sayian over in pain as blood splattered out of his mouth.
"Gohan get a hold of yourself!" Goku cried.
The Sayian saw Frieza charging towards them and with Gohan still trying to attack him in his uncontrolled fury Goku had no choice.
Smash!
Goku's left fist smashed against Gohan cheek knocking the Demi-Sayian to the side and out of the way just in time to avoid the tyrants death beam. Which caught Goku's right hip.
"Damit!" Goku wheezed in pain.
Gohan was back to attacking the tyrant again. The young boy's strikes where manic sloppy the Frost Demon was now able to block the strikes with ease and counter attack knocking the Demi-Sayian away but the young boy was relentless he kept coming back to fight.
"Gohan!" Goku roared again charging at Frieza.
The Frost Demon distracted got caught out by a left footed kick by Gohan to his mid-rift. The young boy sprang immediatly and went to attack Goku. The older Sayian blocked his son's blows.
The tyrant looked on an amused expression upon his face as he folded his arms over his chest as he watched father and son battle it out. He let out a chuckle as he backed slowly away.
"I see guess he hates you as much as me. How about i fight the winner!"
Frieza moving out of his vision Gohan sole attention like a wild animal he attacked his father.
Goku was stronger than his son and faster too and dispirit his injuries due to the fact the young boy was not controlling his actions the Sayian could ward off his son's attacks with just his left hand. This battle was pointless only to serve to give Frieza a break from battle and to tire the Sayian out further but Goku was hesitant to attack his son he didn't truly want to hurt him.
"Gohan listen to me! This isn't you Frieza the real enemy!"
"Graahhh" Gohan roared spinning backwards into the air and firing a one handed Masenko at his father.
Goku though out a left hand and caught the attack in his palm. The Sayian could feel his skin burn as he was pushed backwards towards the ground.
"DAMIT GOHAN" Goku roared as his golden aura burst around him. "Don't make me do this!"
But it was no use his son was not listening to him. Goku had no choice.
"KA"
Goku looked into his son's eyes as a blue sphere appeared in his outstretched hand pushing the Masenko back.
"Ma"
"I'm sorry Chi-chi" The Sayian thought to himself
"HA"
"I'm sorry Gohan"
"MA"
The Sayian's eyes darted to Frieza the tyrant was looking on laughing at the two of them. This sent shock waves of angier prickling though Goku's body.
"HA"
"I promise no matter the cost i will defeat you Frieza" Goku thought to himself as he fired the blue beam of energy of his signature attack.
The blast cut though Gohan's Masenko like a rocket absorbing the beam within itself as it crashed into the Demi-Sayian.
"ARRRRAAGGGHHH" Gohan screamed out in pain as the beam engulfed him.
Boom!
A black smoke clouded engulfed the area surrounding Gohan as the attack exploded.

The tyrant threw his head back and laugh manically as he watched Gohan's lifeless broken body fall towards the ground only to be caught in mid-air by Goku. Frieza was having the time of his life he had never seen anything quite like it. Normal he would kill children in front of their parents not watch as the parents did the killing for him. It was quite refreshing.
Goku slowly flouted to the ground cradling Gohan's body in his left arm. The Demi-Sayian's body looked so small so fragile. Hot tears began to roll down the Sayian's face. He had lost control he had let his anger get the better of him and put much power into his attack and had killed his son.
The Super Sayian aura that surrounded Goku sparked out of life. His golden hair turned to black as he hugged his son close to his body.
"It seems you have a small problem their" Frieza said coldly walking towards Goku slowly a smirk upon his face. "One last chance join me and we can save your son"
Goku looked up at the tyrant tears streaming down his face. The Sayian felt out around the planet as he stood in silence and could feel Bulma and Moori energy along with Vegeta's slowly drifting away in space. They where safe and so where the Dragonball's their was still hope. It didn't have to end here.
Resting Gohan's head against his shoulder Goku looked at Frieza red eyes the sadness had disappeared replaced by determenation.
Goku had made a promise he would win no matter the cost.
"Kamahama-ha" The Sayian roared defiantly taking the Frost Demon by surprise.
The blue blast of energy shot out from Goku's feet and down towards the planets core.
"You fool!" Friezia roared "You plan to kill us both!"
"You lose" Goku yelled out enraged. "You won't harm a living being ever again"
Boom!
The shock waves echoed though out the galaxy as planet Namek was engulfed in a fiery explosion.
Wow that was an intense chapter to right. I hope you all liked it though i think the ending is going to be quite controversial.
I'll be straight with you all my intentions where always going to be Gohan reaching False super Sayian and helping his father to victory but the longer i wrote the story and thought about it the more it didn't make sense. Frieza transformed into his races equivalent of a super Sayian could he really be defeated? He had telekinesis he trained. I had a hard time seeing him losing. And why should Gohan have this amazing power up and be able to control it.
He's a child that has suffered a lot in his short life and under a lot of mental strain i think it makes sense to lose control.
And Goku having to put his son down like that i don't think he cared about keeping the planet safe he had no reason too all he wanted was to defeat Frieza this was a victory to him. Not an out right one but a victory none the less.

Guest: Well done you ruined super sayian.
I respect your opinion and understand that you might not be happy with my choice. But i wouldn't say it was super sayian strength that let Goku down. Frieza just had too many techniques he held Goku in place and injured him. i bet you hate this chapter more but all i will say is i think it's better for the character development of everyone in this story if they essentially lost the battle of Namek. It gives everyone a reason to train it shows that they can't always just rely on Goku he can lose he can be beaten.

Firstly thank you very much for the review i really appreciated it and you said a lot of nice things. If you feel the Southern ruler is over powered that is fair enough but i would like to explain why i feel he can be that strong. In cannon Gohan went from being weaker than a Super Sayian to a super Sayian in less than a year. Yes he trained with Goku who really helped his trainning. But also In Dragonball super Frieza went from weaker than Future Trunks to as strong if not stronger as Super Sayian god blue Goku in three to four months. The last time we saw the Southern ruler was fifty years ago. So i really don't feel it's to much of a stretch to say he could be that strong in fifty years of trainning to be fair i think i could argue him being stronger.
Thanks for everyones on going support i hope to reward all your patience with more chapters to come. I hope you didn't feel the end of the Namek Saga to be anti climatic. I just feel this will have a posertive impact on the story and most other stories always have the Z fighter beat Frieza.
