Chapter 57: Garlic Junior Special Saga
Friezia planet 654, Three years earlier.
Raditz laid face down in a pool of his own blood as Bardock stood before him crossed armed looking down at his son with disgust as his Son's ship automatic voice spoke in the quite landing bay.
"Emergency landing complete, evacuation protocol complete, Mission to planet Crimson is failure, Sayain troop number 13462 is lone survivor of mission need immediate attention!" The voice echoed around the room as Bardock and his crew stood in the docking bay in silence.
"Father!" Raditz wheezed gasping for air as he woke up from unconsciousness and lifted his head up to see the elder Sayian looking down on him. "Fat-ther they were just too strong for us their was no way we could win!"
Smack! Bardock booted Raditz directly in the face sending the brother of Goku crashing back into his pod. The young Sayian groaned in pain as Bardock crew began to chuckle and murmur to themselves.
"What a weakling!"
"No wonder they call him weakling Raditz?"
"Are you sure he's yours Bardock Maybe Celina fucked some other guy!"
"Pathetic can't even take out a level five planet with a whole squad!"
"Guess we are going to have to clear up after him again"
Raditz watched as he listened to the insults being hurled his way and winced in pain as Bardock placed a boot on his chest.
"I told you, to not come back unless you had finished your mission! This is your seventh Failure Raditz! I can't keep covering up for your cowardice! I should end you now all the trouble you have caused me it's pathetic!" Bardock lifted his right hand forward and placed it on his son's forehead. "Killing you is a kindness you are a disgrace to our race"
Boom!
A ball of energy smashed into the back of Bardocks head the force of which was so weak it barely even tickled with a sigh Bardock released his son Causing Raditz to let out a breath of relief as he slumped down in his seat. The older Sayian warrior turned and glared at Raditz mother Celiena who had arrived at the scene just in time to protect her son.
"Celina!" Bardock growled as he turned and faced the women he fathered two children with. "I told you to stay behind i was dealing with this!"
"What so you can kill him!? I won't allow you to do that"
"Your too soft women that's why your weak! That's why he has become weak! Just like his mother!" Bardock snarled baring his teeth.
"You never use to care about strength when we first met you told me that you thought power levels were bull shit! But ever since Kanassa you change ever since you got..."
Boom!
Before Celena eyes could register that Bardock had moved she felt her self being lifted up by her throat and a sharp pain in her back as she was smashed against the landing bays wall's. Her face instantly turning red as she struggled to breath she looked down to see Bardocks wide furious wild eyes looking up at her.
"Are you a fool" Bardock whispered desperately trying to prevent himself from screaming in fury. "You say thing's so carelessly you know what would happen if that came out in the open!"
"Leave her alone" A weak voice yelled out.
And Bardock turned to see Raditz standing outside of his space pod blood streaming down the left side of his face from a nasty cut above his left eye as his mangaled right arm was limp at his size.
"Your angry at me not her.."
Raditz was cut off when a ball of energy smashed into his chest exploding on impact and knocking him back into his space pod.
"Oh so you have fight in ya now" Bardock snarled lowering his hand after firing the Ki blast. "But you see without even making any effort i can knock you down your useless! You brought shame on this family and now once again i have to fix your mess! We where suppose to head off to pick your nephew today! And now we have to do this! It's in the other direction it could take us a year to get their now! You know important that boy is i told you what he could become. You were suppose to cover for us!"
"I'll go to Earth i'll pick up the brat! Just don't hurt mum father just leave her alone" Raditz gasped his breathing heavy.
"You!" Bardock smirked "You think you can handle the boy?"
"Of course it's just a pathetic level 1 Planet! and he is just a mere child their is no way he could match my strength!"
"No!" Celina yelled out. "You can't go your hurt you need to rest!"
"Silence women! If the boy wants to prove himself let him do it! This could be his greatest achievement a way to redeem himself! He can go into the healing tank and then head off! While i sort out his mess!"
"But what happens if the boy turns? If he is as powerful as you say he could kill Raditz"
"I'll be fine mother!" Raditz grunted.
As if on Que Bardock grabbed his head and groaned in pain in the all too familiar way of when he had one of his visions. The older Sayian looked at Celina and smiled.
"Not to worry he makes it and brings glory to the Sayian race!"
~DBAT~
"You barstard" Celina growled as tears continued to stream down her face. "He was so happy after you said that he wanted to make you happy to make you proud of him! And you faked it didn't you! You lied about your vision! I loved you, you made me care about you but you killed my son!"
Celeina fired the beam of energy directly into Bardock sending the Sayian unconscious body tumbling across the beach before it stopped still. The older Sayian's body appeared unharmed however as the female Sayian screamed in anger and frustration as sweat poured down her face.
"Dam it why am i so weak!" Celina screamed looking at her hands.
"Celeina" Bardock murmured weakly.
The female Sayian froze in fear though she had suffered Bardock rage before he never truly went all out on her, he never attacked her like most male Sayians would do to their partners, for all his abuse he did have a soft spot for her and in comparison he was gentle. However she had tried to take his life openly and willingly their was no telling what he would do.
Bardock lifted his head up his mind cloudy his vision blurry the after effects of his latest meeting with the Kanssan lying within his mind still having it's adverse effect on his body but the all to familiar voice of his partner Celeina slowly returned the Sayian to his senses.
"Celeina? What are you doing here?" Bardock murmured as his Vision cleared and he saw the mother of Goku looking down at him glaring daggers into him. "Now i know what you thinking but... "
Bang! Celeina shot forward and booted the Male Sayian in the head and continued to do so as Bardock slowly made his way onto his feet.
"No" Celeina roared as a white hot aura burst around her as she beat the Sayian's head with her fists. "You killed my son! You let him die ! You Barstard you bastard!"
Bardock stood up right his arms by his side not even defending himself as the female Sayian continued to beat away at his body with sobbing fury constantly beating her fist against him until her knuckles started to bleed.
"Please stop your just hurting yourself" Bardock said somenly a frown upon his face.
But the Female Sayian didn't stop she continued attacking with her legs landing blow after blow until she collapsed on the ground in a heap completely exhausted unable to cause any damage. Tears trickling down her face.
"I'm sorry" Bardock began
"No!" Celeina roared throwing her hands forward and firing a Ki blast into his chest which again landed and puffed harmlessly into black smoke on contact. "You don't get to be sorry!" She fired again causing another cloud of black smoke to engulf Bardock. "You got my son killed you sent him to his death you bastard"
Celeina exhausted got to her feet once again and threw a punch which Bardock caught in his hand before physically pulling the female sayian in for a tight embrace. Celeina screamed in fury clawing at Bardock with her fingers and stomping at his feet with her toes.
"I'm so glad you alive" Bardock murmured so softly it caused Celeina to pause in her assault from shook. He hadn't talk to her like that in years. She looked up to see a small trail of tears fall down the scarred man's face. "I thought you where dead! I thought Vegeta had you killed but you were here the whole time! Thank goodness"
"Get off me!" Celeina growled twisting out of Bardocks strong grip. "You don't get to act like you care not now! how could you? You sent our son to his death ! You tried to manipulate our grandson and tear him away from his home for your own gain! You attempted to Kill Kakarot and you say thank goodness that i'm alive !? Be honest you never cared for me! You were just interested in the fact that my great uncle Beetrota had manage to get into the elite! It was never love! You just hoped that I could bare you powerful offspring! That somewhere I had the genetic traits of my uncle!"
Celeina fists were clenched tightly her finger nails digging into her own skin drawing blood which slowly began to drip from her hands as she continued to shake in rage. However the female Sayian didn't move to attack anymore knowing it was pointless against Badock who was superior in strength and more experienced in battle, But that didn't stop the mother of Goku staring daggers at the Male Sayian who was looking down at the ground not being able to meet her gaze.
"She right you know!" The Familiar Voice of Toro boomed inside Bardocks head " I never thought I would agree with a Sayian as much as this women! But I can see it all inside your head! What man sends his own son to his death! What a pathetic warrior hopes to gain power and rank though his children! Pretending he loves someone just so he can use them! You think you are so justified that you have decided to stop killing those you deem weak! But that dose not remove your sins! Nothing will!"
"I have changed" Bardock yelled out loud replying to Toro but then turning and looking at Celeina and saying more calmly. "I have changed, You are right... I did send Raditz to his death! I knew the consequences of my actions... I can't justify it... all that mattered to me was power... I … I saw the power that awakened in Gohan during that battle... I saw it .. I saw the repercussions how it lead him to be taught by Piccolo... How much his power would grow how much experience he would gain... I saw it as losing a hindrance in exchanged for an asset... I was wrong!"
Bardock looked down at his own hands for a second realising the gravity of his words. He had been so happy and content with life after the events of Namek. He had a son and grandson to be proud of two of the strongest Sayians in the history of the entire race both being able to have some form of the legendary super Sayian transformation, he was so excited about their potential about being able to spar with them everyday, to grow his own strength he hadn't once thought about Raditz. His oldest child. They had access to the dragonballs the ability to revive any that had fallen and he hadn't yet brought or thought about bringing his son back to life.
"Whats this I am feeling Sayian! Guilt at killing your own son! I must say it's the only choice I have agreed with the only good Sayian is a dead Sayian!" Toro spat in Barddocks mind.
"You changed!" Celiena spat. "How? What have you done?"
Bardock looked at the Female Sayian with a cold emotionless stare.
"Nothing" He replied solemnly. "I have done nothing apart from bringing pain and misery to this world.."
A white hot aura burst around Bardock as the Sayian rocketed into the air and away from the turtle hermits Island.
"Wait!" Celenia roared in Angier "I'm not done with you! Come back here"
The Female Sayian took off after Bardock trying to chase her former lover down but it was no use the male Sayian was simple to fast to keep up with.
"What is he up too?" Celeina thought to herself before twisting around and back tracking to the turtle hermits island.

The normally pure white tiles of the lookout was littered with purple droplets of blood and mangled flesh. The home on top of the lookout was destroyed torn apart from Gohan's rampage.
The pathetic body of Garlic Junior was buried deep within the rubble of one of the destroyed towers having been flung their like a simple rag doll by the enraged Demi-Sayian only holding to life due to his for immortality he had made years ago and now deeply regretted.
Garlic Junior longed for death now, just wishing the pain would go away and that his now miserable existence would come to an end as he had completely overestimated the power the wish of immortality would give him. and that was his greatest mistake not realising the wishes greatest flaw until now.
The lose of his arms which Gohan had ripped from his body and flung off the side of the lookout was not life threatening. The blood lose was so instead of his arms regenerating much like the Namek Piccolos would the magic of the wish merely closed up the wound and stopped the blood lose.
His legs had been disintegrated by a powerful Kamahamaha wave that burnt and scorched his entire body, but again he didn't need legs to live and burns would not kill him so they would not heal.
He only needed ears to hear the world around him not to live so when they were sliced away they didn't need to return...
He only needed his eyes to see so when they were torn out they did not grow back.
Not even in the dark void had Garlic Junior felt so alone and hopeless he could feel the rubble on top of him but all he could see was darkness, everything was silent all he could feel was pain.
He would have screamed in agony. Begged for death even if he could. however his lower jaw was completely missing having been torn off by a single punch.
"This is worse than death!" Garlic Junior thought to himself as a single tear rolled down his mangled and broken face. "Please someone... help me!"
~DBAT~
Goku arrived at the lookout and could not believe his eyes when met with the devastation before him. The lookout was in complete and utter ruins having been ripped apart by Gohan's rampage, the bodies of the Makyan's were scattered beneath the rubble but what sent a chill down Goku's spine and made him sick to his stomach was the broken body of his old mentor Master Roshi.
The young Sayian gritted his teeth and clenched his fists as he felt the familiar rage he had felt back on Namek start to bubble to the surface but this time he suppressed his rage knowing who had caused this destruction was his own flesh and blood, his own son. Goku manage to hang on to his humanity as he looked up at the small boy still locked in combat with Krillin and Tien, The two human fighters were bloody and bruised but were still able to fight.
Using their superior martial arts knowledge and experience the two had evaded meeting the same fate as the Turtle hermit, however it was clear that in Gohan's current enraged state someone else was going to die. Either the two human warriors or the Demi-Sayian would perishes if the battle was allowed to continue.
Acting quickly Goku sprang into action his Super Sayian form allowing him to move faster than the Human fighters or Gohan could see with a quick chop to the neck was all it took to knock the enraged Demi -Sayian unconscious.
Goku caught the unconscious boy in his arms and looked up at his two friends that were staring daggers at his son a grim look upon their face.
"He's dangerous Goku" Krillin breathed dropping out of his bulked up form and returning to his normal size. "If you didn't get here when you did I don't know what would have happened.. He would have killed us … he killed..."
Krilling looked down at the body of his fallen Master and turned away holding back tears.
Tien merely stared at Goku silently his arms crossed over his chest waiting for the Sayian to reply.
"Hay guys I know what Gohan did was wrong and i'm angry too trust me! But I know how hard it is to control yourself when you transform the blood lust is unreal. you just want to fight like you never thought before it's not like Gohan meant it!" Goku said calmly dropping the golden aura around himself as he began to flout in mid air.
"It's not about the fact he was in control or not!" Krillin snapped back angrily still not facing his friend. "The fact is he is dangerous when he is out of control! can you not see themaged he has caused that power can kill and destroy us all if we are not careful and if you weren't here to stop him... I don't know what would have happened"
"I know it's bad Krillin but come on we still have the dragonballs we can fix this!" Goku said calmly looking at his small bald friend.
"Can we Goku ! Can we!" Krillin snapped back in anger turning to face his friend his face red with rage. "Can't you tell ? Have you not sensed it?"
"Sensed what ?" Goku asked confused unsure what his friend was going on about.
"Kami's dead" Krillin said plainly pointing at the rubble that was the lookout main building. "Garlic junior must have had him trapped in their... when Gohan went into his rampage he shot attacks everywhere and one of them must have hit Kami.. Because I felt his energy and them it vanished, Piccolo is gone as well I felt him coming along with you. He must have noticed Gohan snapping and was coming to help."
Goku stood dumb founded for a moment before closing his eyes and reached out with his senses in order to find the life energy of Piccolo and Kami. To no avail but what Krillin had said was indeed true they were dead.
"Moori!" Goku eyes snapped open "We can use the Namek Dragonballs to revive them!"
"No use" Tien said grimly his eyes locking onto Gokus.
"I saw his body on the ground by the foot of the lookout. He was died before we got here"
"What" Goku was gobbed smacked he couldn't believe it. With Kami and Moori dead their was no Dragonballs and no dragonballs meant.
Goku's eyes slowly looked at the body of master Roshi and moved to the unconscious form of his son in his hands.
"No..." Goku murmured weakly "This can't be happening".
Hello everyone a rather small chapter to finish off the garlic junior arc. Sorry for the long wait I had a bit of writers block with this chapter as I'm not going to lie I had massive writers block for it.
But and this is a massive but we are now going to move on to the android saga and boy howdy do I have plans for that. You thought the story was different to cannon before we are moving so far away you guys are not going to know what hit you. and the buu saga is all pretty much planned as well so I know were we are going now and I am very excited about the direction this story will be going.
Again I know this saga wasn't the best but I think the events in it are critical to whats to come and even though this chapter was small. It has massive implications to the story.
