(A Week later)
Dimitri opened the door to the gym and found the lights on. I discovered Jasmine was doing push-ups. Damon said, "Keep your back straight and level with the floor. Give me ten more push-ups. " Jasmine keeps doing push-ups. Dimitri tries to understand why Damon is working with Jasmine so early before his training session. As Jasmine keeps doing her push-ups, Dimitri looked down at his watch, seeing thirty minutes before his training session. Dimitri sat his bag down on the floor, leaning against the wall, and watched Damon and Jasmine.
Jasmine finished doing push-ups and got off the floor. Damon said, "Let's move on to front-snap kick training for the body." Jasmine asks, "Which leg?" Damon said, "Left leg." Jasmine gets into the fighting stands. Damon said, "Remember your breathing." Jasmine nods, saying she understands what Damon says. Jasmine executes a forward stance with her right leg forward, knee bent back, and back leg locked, bringing her hands up to protect her face.
Damon said, "There are four counts in the snap kick. It is important to keep your hands and upper body as still as possible as you kick. You don't want to lose balance or fumble over at all while you're kicking. " Dimitri watched Jasmine bring her knee up while looking forward. Rose came walking into the gym and could see Dimitri sitting on the floor. Dimitri was in deep thought, trying to discover what happened to Jasmine four years ago. Rose was looking at Dimitri, who appeared to be concerned about walked over and tapped Dimitri on the shoulder. Dimitri looked up at Rose. "What if something is wrong?"Dimitri said, "Go do laps with Jasmine. Then you both leave early. " Rose says, "How many?" Dimitri said, "How many Jasmine have been late?" Rose said, "OK!" Rose puts her bag down next to Jasmine's bag and heads to the back door to the track.
Dimitri got up from the floor, picked up his stuff, and left the gym, heading to his bedroom. I need time to think about what I just learned about Jasmine. Dimitri wasn't watching where he was walking right into Alberta. Alberta asked, "If there was something wrong with guardian Belikov?" Dimitri said, "I just discovered what happened to Jasmine four years ago with Strigoi." Alberta frowned and said, "I know." It breaks your heart to know that something like that could happen to Jasmine. Stepped to the side of Dimitri and said, "So you need time to think about it and feel it. Do you think Jasmine needs to see Dr. Olendzki or one of the counselors? " Dimitri said, "Maybe! Jasmine doesn't talk about it or tell anyone. " Alberta said, "I put in the paperwork to have one counselor talk to her about what happened that night."
Dimitri walked back to his room and dropped his bag on the ground. Walking over to the bed, and sitting down. What if this could happen to my mother or sisters?
Dimitri called his mother and asked what he should do.

The telephone rang four times, and Dimitri heard his grandmother's voice come online. My grandmother said, "Dinka! Is something wrong? " Dimitri said, "Grandmother, I met someone and there was something about her." She is an amazing fighter, gifted, and makes me want to protect her from everyone and their pull towards her.
Yeva asked, "This young lady has the body of a dhampier and the power of a Moroi. Is she a twin? " Dimitri said, "Yes." Jasmine has an identical twin named Rosemarie. Yeva said, "I dream about a young lady with long brown hair, with light brown eyes with gold flack in them. Is she using her magic? Do her eyes turn gold? " Dimitri said, "Yes!" Yeva said, "Dimka! Listen to me. She is very rare. There are people out there who want to take her by force. You must protect her at all costs. You must put her before everyone else, even your mother and sisters.
Dimitri asked, "Have you heard of Strigo raping someone?" Yeva said, "Yes!" Sick basters". Dimitri said, "Strigoi rapped Jasmine at thirteen, and a week later, her power shows up in the hospital wing." Yeva said, "Her gift?" Dimitri said, "Fire!" Yeva said, "That Jasmine's power will grow." I will send a special brew to give Jasmine to make sure she drinks it two times a day. I will send directions on how to brew it right. It keeps me calm until you both come to visit me. "
Dimitri asked, "What is Jasmine?" Yeva said, "Jasmine is an element!" Dimitri couldn't believe that the grandmother knew about elements. She never spoke of them before.
(A few days later.)
Rosa and Jasmine came into the lunchroom to see Vasilisa, Eddie, and Mason sitting together at one table. Rose said, "They have fixed tomato soup?" Jasmine said, "Rosie!" You know, I can't eat tomatoes. Rosa said, "I know. We have to make sure anything that you eat doesn't have tomatoes in it. Dimitri was sitting nearby and heard Jasmine bitching about tomato soup. Looking down, I saw that he was eating it.
Jasmine said, "Chicken strips!" Rose smiled and laughed. "That's my sissy," she said, reaching her hand up and touching the back of Jasmine's later, "Where is the honey mustard?" Rose says, "Right here, sissy. Do you want a cookie or two? " Jasmine said, "Cookies!" Rose said, "Chocolate chip cookies or sugar cookies?" Jasmine said, "I want both cookies." Dimitri thought Jasmine was acting like a little kid when food and cookies arrived. Rose and Jasmine turned around and walked over to the table where Vasilisa, Eddie, and Mason sat down and started talking to their friends.
Stan Alto walked into the lunchroom and looked around to see if he could find Jasmine sitting at a table with her friends. Stan walked up to the table and said, "Jasmine Hathaway." Jasmine looked up over her chicken strip and said, "I didn't do it!" Vasilisa, Eddie, Rose, and Mason all started laughing at what Jasmine said. Dimitri walked up and asked, "What did you do now? Jasmine said nothing. Yet, Vasilisa, Eddie, Rose, and Mason all started laughing again.
Vasilisa asked, "What is this about?" Stan Alto said, "Jasmine has an appointment to see Dr. Olendzk." Jasmine just looked at Stan Alto and asked, "What is the reason that I need to see Dr. Olendzk?" Stan Alto said, "Captain Alberta sent me to find you and take you." Jasmine said, "I'm not going." Vasilisa said, "You might need a check-up on pills that need to be checked. Jasmine says, "Fine.! But after I have my lunch and Vasilisa comes with me. We will go to see Dr. Olendzk and find out what is going on. Give everyone a small smile. Stan Alto said, "That is fine. I can wait.
Jasmine felt something was up with this surprise trip to see Dr. Olendzk. I think there is nothing wrong with me. Why did Captain Alberta send a Guardian, Stan Alto, to make sure that she made it to see Dr. Olendzk? Dimitri knew Jasmine had questions running through her mind about what was going on. Jasmine finished lunch and still had her two cookies. picked up her tray and put two cookies in the bag for later. Stan Alto, Vasilisa, and Jasmine leave the lunchroom to go to the hospital wing to find out what is going on.
(Hour later.)
Jasmine and Vasilisa were sitting in Deirdre's office. Jasmine said, "I don't understand why Captain Alberta wants me to come here." Vasilisa said, "Soon we found out." holding Jasmine's hand and keeping Jasmine calm somewhat.
Jasmine could Deirdre have certificates on her wall behind the desk. She had many degrees in psychotherapy. A few of the walls had nature pictures, things like butterflies and daffodils. Deirdre helps students with their problems. I guess they are supposed to be soothing. Jasmine said in that seat that she was sitting in a comfy chair, at least next to Vasilisa.
When Deirdre walked into her office, she found Vasilisa and Jasmine sitting together. Deirdre said, "the reason that Dr. Olendzka sent you to talk about what happened to you four years ago with strigoi is Jasmine looked down at the floor and away from Deirdre. Vasilisa picked up that she didn't want to talk about what happened four years ago. Vasilisa said, "The traumatic event exposed here changes Jasmine forever." Jasmine doesn't feel like talking about it. It would upset her.
Deirdre said, "I feel Jasmine's need to talk about what happened that night might help to deal with pinned-up feelings about what strigoi did to you. This place is a safe space. No one will judge you for something you couldn't control. Could Vasilisa please wait outside of the room for Jasmine? The sooner they started, the sooner Jasmine started healing. Vasilisa stood up and leaned down to Jasmine, saying, "If you need me, I will be outside."
Jasmine looked at Vasilisa and said, "Please don't leave me." Vasilisa understood that Jasmine gets nerves around new people. Vasilisa said, "You are all right, and I will be just outside in the waiting room for you." Jasmine said, "You wouldn't leave Rose. If she asks you to Then why are you leaving me again? Vasilisa looked at Jasmine. Vasilissa pulled her hand away from Jasmine and turned around and walked out. Jasmine said, "Bitch!"
Jasmine just sat there looking at Deirdre and didn't show any emotion or speak a word to her for five full minutes. Jasmine said, "First, understand my complete meaning that this isn't something that I wish to speak about. What happened to me four years ago, unless you have been through it, You will never understand or think you know. No textbook could explain my feelings or thoughts. I am dealing with it my way as best I can. So we sit here and look at each other for an hour, or I can leave.
Deirdre said, "Jasmine, please understand that your friend is weird about you." I am here to help you through this traumatic event in your life. There will be a lot of pain and tears. It will help you in your life. Deirdre could see some emotional changes in Jasmine's pain and anger coming from a distance. "I don't think you understand, this isn't a subject you want to talk about," Jasmine said, "Captain Alberta, I think it is time for you to talk about what happened that night." Jasmine said, "This is a waste of mine and your time." I am leaving before something happens. Jasmine stood up. Deirdre reached out, grabbed Jasmine's arm, and tried to stop her, but all it did was piss Jasmine off more.
Jasmine jerked her hand away and said, "Don't fuck touch me." Jasmine spun back around and stormed out of the Deirdre office. Vasilisa wasn't in the waiting room like she said that she would be. Making Jasmine feel like Vasilisa ditched her time crunch Jasmine slammed the door behind her.
Deirdre looked down at the watch and realized it all happened in fifteen minutes. started writing in the report, Best Action Jasmine. Breaking through the walls that Jasmine put around herself to keep getting hurt again or face the pain that was still inside of her.
(Several hours later)
Alberta and Dimitri walked up to Deirdre's office door. Dimitri knocked on the door. Deirdre said, "Enter!" Dimitri opened the door and Aberta walked inside before Dimitri.
Deirdre asked, "So what can I do for both today?" Alberta said, "Early, you had a student by the name of Jasmine Hathaway. We would like to know how it is going. " Deirdre said, "Jasmine Hathaway, give me a lecture before storming out of my office." As soon as I brought up the reason, she was here. I watched her mood change and didn't show any emotion at all for five full minutes or speak a word after her friend Vasilisa left. I saw anger coming from her when I had a traumatic event. All this happens in fifteen minutes. Jasmine Hathaway nearly pulled me out of my chair. When I tried to stop her, Jasmine was strong. Dimitri said, "Jasmine is dhampier." We are stronger than normal. Deirdre said, "I would say that Jasmine has PTSD." (Post-traumatic stress disorder)
Jasmine Hathaway has post-traumatic stress disorder. Dimitri and Albert walked out of Deirdre's office and found Alberta said, "What do you think we need to sign up for more lessons with Deirdre?" Dimitri said, "Yes!" But first I need to speak to Jasmine to tell her what's good for her. Aberta said, "Jasmine can be a hard head at times. Best luck to you. "
(Tower)
Dimitri walked up to the Jasmine tower and could hear music playing from inside. Dimitri knocked on the door, but did not get an answer. Thinking to himself, what the hell is wrong with teenagers? Standing nearby, watching as Guardian Belikov knocks on the door, knowing that Jazz will never answer the door. Seeing as earlier, she was pissed off about something. In Christian thought, there is a way to get inside the tower. A Christian walked over to the tower and said, "Guardian Belikov." Dimitri turns to see Christian standing there looking at him.
Christian said, "Are you having a problem getting Jazz's answer to the door?" Dimitri said, "Yes!" Christian said, "Jazz can stump. He reached in, picked up a spare key out of his pocket, and unlocked the door. Push the door open for Guardian Belikov. Christian turns around and says, "Best luck to you."
Dimitri walked inside, and I could hear him playing electric guitar. I realized it was coming from upstairs. Looking around, I found stairs going next to the level of the tower. Dimitri headed upstairs to discover Jasmine playing Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train.
Dimitri was surprised to find that Jasmine was talented at playing guitar. As he watched her play, See her passion for music. She came at the end of the song. Jasmine said, "Cowboy!" Dimitri said, "How did you know it was me?" Jasmine turned her head and looked at him. Dimitri could see her golden eyes. Jasmine said, "a few things give you away." The first you walk heavily, the second is aftershave, and the last I see you in the mirror coming upstairs. So what reason came to visit me in my tower? "
"Can you explain why you left Miss Deirdre?"Jasmine said, "I got pissed off and found the whole thing a waste of time. I don't want to talk. I nearly started throwing fireballs at the damn woman. So which was the better choice? " Dimitri said, "Walk out without throwing fireballs at Miss Deirdre."
Dimitri said, "Everyone! Worry about you after what the strigoi did to you. " Jasmine asked, "Who told you about it? Dimitri said, "Damon informed me a few days ago." Jasmine just looked at Dimitri with anger on her face. Dimitri walked over to Jasmine, saying, "I know you are upset, but not now. But I am worried about you. Please understand, I believed that we needed to talk about what happened. " Jasmine said, "No! This isn't a subject that we normally talk about. I dealt in the best way possible and did not think about what happened that night. Dimitri said, "It is not your fault for what they did to you. You did nothing to deserve it! No one deserves to be raped by anyone, including Strigoi. You are a survivor of that night. " Jasmine said, "Shut up! They heard a loud creaking of thunder outside the tower.
Jasmine turned around and put the electric guitar down. Dimitri told Jasmine to turn around and face him. Jasmine turns around and I can see the pain on her face. Dimitri said, "You have two options: deal with them head-on or run from them." The issue is that when you flee, your demons follow your shadow, and you will never outrun your shadow. So it is best to deal with your emotions head-on instead of trying to outrun something you can't. Jasmine said, "I have three years' head started unless you don't realize."
Jasmine said, "I have already dealt with my feelings. When I play my electric guitar, it's my way of dealing with my feelings. Then I started talking to someone that I didn't know. I use music to help me deal with my would never stand unless she had been through it. Besides, that woman is off her rocker.
Dimitri knew this might take a while. But he was going to make Jasmine see reason if it took all this time.
