A/N: I just enrolled for a Master's course. Now I think I can't concentrate on the fanfics T.T

But it doesn't mean that I will not update these. Maybe the update time will be much longer than last time, but I will make it a point to update the chapters. Can't promise you how long ,so I apologize in advance.

I can't hide the fact that I have lost much of my creativity, as I gave almost my all on the last chapters of this fanfic, so I also apologize for that.

Chapter 11:

After that conversation, Yura decided to go into that city whether her brother will like it or not. Meanwhile Hidemoto, who popped up on them just like a blooming mushroom, mused on his earlier conclusions about the paranormal events in Misaki and Mifune going unnoticed.

"It looks like someone has been covering up all of the events the entire time right under our noses. If what Nurarihyon said is true, then…" He is now cut off by Yura's hushing of the powerful Shikigami.

"Please, Hidemoto – san. Let's not waste time on this and report this to the whole onmyouji community. This is a war happening right before our eyes, hiding in plain sight, and yet they don't do a single thing about it!" She exasperated, further increasing her anxiety over the events that transpired, including hearing a voice from a goddess of Japanese mythology that left her frozen in her place.

"Yura – chan, your impulsiveness will get you nowhere." Hidemoto now dropped his earlier niceties and dropped dead down in all seriousness that he can muster. "Who knows what kind of organization will be willing to cover up the whole event. Besides, who would not participate in a war that is well hidden in the first place?"

"All the more reason to get there." Yura snapped back. "Summoning legendary heroes from every era? This will cause a conflict in the spiritual balance of this world!"

"Then let me ask you one thing." Hidemoto calmed her in a manner that only he knows. "Why is the Ryuudou Temple, which is supposed to be inhabited by spirits, is not inhabited by the spirits at all?"

At that notion, Yura stopped with her worries. Hidemoto has a point. She haven't fully investigated the Ryuudou Temple yet, as her investigation only consisted of second – hand accounts of testimonies from various sources, some of which are doubtful enough to be even called evidence.

"The only solution in this matter for now is to meet up with Kejoro – san, help her in any way we can and investigate the Ryuudou Temple. This time, we will see it with our own eyes." Hidemoto suggested.

"But where can I carry my forging equipment? I can't go in the train without being accused of being a criminal." Akifusa inquired, as his equipment will prove to be a nuisance to modern people. No one believes in onmyouji and youkai anymore, except for the enthusiasts of the modern century.

"Well, there is a transportation that can cater for that." Hidemoto smiled as he pointed to Yura's cellular phone. Yura knew what he meant and she has to make a mental joke out of it. She wished that she can laugh at the absurdity of asking for the youkai for help. But seeing as she has no choice in the matter, she sighed and began to dial the phone number of the Soudaisho's house.

That morning, they arrived at Fuyuki City. This time of the day will be a perfect chance for their investigation to be conducted. Akifusa hoisted up his kit for forging weapons in his back as Yura stepped down from the ship that Nurarihyon graciously let them on.

"Be careful out there." Nurarihyon waved while Yura sighed. She does not want any good luck charms from youkai. But with the scale at which she will be investigating, she will need every possible good wishing fortune, even from the Hyakki Yakou's Soudaisho, to get away with it as cleanly as possible.

Onwards, they now go to where Kejoro and Caster's house is.

Earlier that night:

Keikain Ryuuji scratched his head at his sister forcing him to let this mission remain a secret to the onmyouji community. He knows that the whole onmyouji community knows about this war and yet they keep their mouth shut just because a higher organization is telling them to. That organization, he believed, is the Magus Association. The most popular part of the organization is the Clock Tower, situated in London.

"Let me remind you, Yura, that place is dangerous and not meant to be meddled with by onmyouji such as ourselves. We got a taste of it in the Third Grail War." Behind Keikain Ryuuji's gruff exterior, he also worries about his sister, the 28th Heir, meddling in affairs which are meant to be youkai's business alone.

His sister gave him a glare, reminding him who he is talking to right now.

"I guess I have no other choice then." He then provided her a bag, to Yura's surprise. Akifusa caught the bag. He found out that it is slightly lighter than a normal bag, fueling his doubts.

"Yura, I think you should be careful with that." Akifusa suggested, but his suggestion went into deaf ears as Yura has now completely fallen for her brother's compassion.

"Onii – san." Yura cannot believe her eyes at her brother's sudden reluctance. Due to her uncontained glee, she opened the bag, only to find a springing clown. "Kyaa!"

Ryuuji savoured those moments of pranking the 28th Heir before getting the real equipment. "Just joking. Here's the real bag." He tossed the equipment at Akifusa.

At the Kotomine Church, one man seemingly speaks to no one, but he continued speaking, as though he has an audience. They have now found out about the murderous Caster roaming around the city together with his Master, and decided to put up a mission for the meantime, as the secrecy of the war is being threatened to be exposed.

"For the one who will defeat Caster, I will grant him an additional Command Seal as a prize." Kotomine Risei proclaimed, revealing his Command Seals on his right hand that the former Masters have in the duration of the last three wars, and was passed on to him by the former overseer of the War. "Now, if you don't have any questions, you may leave. Though I don't think one will ask any."

At his last word, the shuffling and flying of animals are heard inside the Church.

"Father, are you sure about this?" Kirei asked his father about it, knowing the possibility of someone that will benefit the prize aside from them. But Risei knew about the matter more than him. After all, an alliance is in place between the Kotomine Church and the Tohsaka clan being made effective by Tohsaka Tokiomi.

"We will let the other Masters and Servants chase him for a time." He mused as he drank water from a glass. "After all, no one can resist an additional Command Seal. Besides, we can make other Masters desperate, seeing as they will lose control of their Servant once all of the three Command Seals are exhausted. The most notable one is that Lancer and his Master are still alive if the arrival of his familiar is any indication."

He now placed the glass gently on the table and stood up, adjusting his collar. "After all Masters and Servants have exhausted themselves, Archer will deal the final blow."

Meanwhile Kotomine Kirei is at loss for thoughts, remembering what Archer had discussed about the concept of "pleasure". He can't believe that he is almost being swayed over by a Servant. Although he believes himself to be evil, he is not going to that point ever.

He first saw Archer in their wine cellars, indulging himself in the finest of their wines commonly used for Mass services. He wordlessly stared at Archer, who then began to talk about the concept of pleasure, which he himself has firmly believed that pleasure is a sin that must be purged.

He cannot believe that Archer twisted his words in a way that made him doubt himself. For him, pleasure is a sin. For Archer, it is a lifestyle that must be enjoyed by man in the puny days of his life. That question made him doubt his beliefs.

So, I will ask you, Kirei. Is pleasure itself really a sin?

He did not think of the possibility that pleasure can be good. The question poses itself as an answer, that it all depends on what he views it as. But, if he will be given a chance to voice his opinion, there will be no doubt in his heart that he will say that he never had thought about the possibility of it, even once. For the man who has been empty, he has been lectured by a man who tasted all pleasures in life.

Waver Velvet was many things, but he is never an idiot.

After summoning his Servant, he now has a ton of problems, like his Servant's interest in books, or games, or even modern politics. He could say that in modern Japanese terms, if ever he is correct in his research on Japanese History or Japanese Culture, he could say in his opinion that his Servant is an otaku.

Not in the bad sense, but still. His hobby of collecting combat planes, books of ancient history of what happened to Macedonia after his reign, and games related to war tactics, called Admirable Tactics, is cluttering up his room in a way that will make the ones giving them a freeload look like they are the ones freeloading instead of him and his Servant.

With that notion, he resigned to finding out Caster's lair using alchemy instead of giving in to his Servant's whims on playing the game, after finding out from the Church that Caster is on the loose. He does not have any time for trivial matters. While he is pondering over and over on how to break into Caster's lair, another treacherous thought entered his head.

The Servant's designation of the Class.

Earlier, they saw another Servant that looks like a Caster. She never even bothered to shoot down the familiar that is hovering over their heads. He doesn't want to leak that information to the Church. He wants to be the first to find out that fiend's lair and exploit the other Caster. But then, something is off about that Servant.

While other Servants who are summoned near or in their actual homelands exude a strong force around them, like Lancer and Saber, the female Caster is different altogether, as though she belongs in this land. If his hunch does not tell him much about her, then that brief spike of surging prana that they felt will.

"Hey, Rider…" Waver asked his Servant but paused for a moment, as if he is thinking about what to say.

"Hm?" Rider just replied like that, as he is still focused on the news that features President Bill Clinton.

"If the Grail summons only one Servant per class, how come we have two Casters?" Waver asked it out of the blue, hoping that his Servant will have answers. Unfortunately, with all his wisdom, Iskandar does not have a clue at all about the Grail's inner workings, as the one who only knew exactly how the Grail works will be of the Caster Class.

So he sighed, before he gave his answer. "Unfortunately for you, boy, that I do not know how come that we have two Casters." So much for asking his Servant a question that only a Caster can answer. Rider gave Waver a playful but big knuckle twisting on his head, which Waver did not like. "But what I do know, is that it will be more grand if the Grail War is like this. It's not fun to have one Servant per class. I'm thinking of two Servants for each class, making it a total of fourteen!" He laughed aloud at his musings. "Then I can gather for myself some allies to get the Grail for me. And that, my boy, will be a true Holy Grail War!"

He really is the King of Conquerors. Waver mused. He just wished that he should just have summoned Medea as his Servant. She is suited for the Caster Class, and that maybe Medea can give him some tips on Magecraft. But on second thought Medea is known to betray men in the legends. And he is a man. Well, not that he is a man yet with a height and age like Iskandar's.

So it brings them to the current situation, which is preparing water taken from different areas into separate test tubes, then dropping a substance on each test tube to determine the concentration of Magic on that area to determine how near their lair was. He also marked the test tubes according to the area where they got the water samples, at the same time looking at a map with the same markings on the river where they got it. Meanwhile, Iskandar decided to turn off the television and check out what his Master is doing.

"Are you playing with alchemy, Master?" He inquired curiously, to which Waver replied in a monotone voice.

"I'm not playing with it, I'm doing alchemy." His Servant is really an expert when it comes to getting on his nerves. He really can conquer anything. "This is only a simple way of finding out where they are. Others can devise more complicated but quicker ways of finding the lair."

As he is still speaking, out of all the samples they got, two specific letters on test tubes appear to be positive of magical influences. When he checked it on the map, it seems that they found the location of the murderer.

"I would have to disagree on that matter, Master. Your simple way of finding it is more glorious than the complicated ways others display." Rider applauded. Waver heaved another sigh.

"Don't praise me, idiot."

"That's what we are! Mwahahaha!" Rider gave out a loud laugh that can guarantee the destruction of their house if ever his voice can be used as a weapon.

Kejoro still faced a staring contest with her Servant, as Caster menacingly dropped the degrees of their home to wintery temperatures. Good thing they already have a Bounded Field to go with it, otherwise, Caster's anger will cost the suffering of the whole neighbourhood. After all, Servants are entities which are a threat to the balance of this world in the first place.

Kejoro casually walked up to her Servant, and mustering all her courage, she now laid down her master plan for Caster. She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at the sudden shift in command. Formerly, she is the one who makes the plans. Now, it's Kejoro's turn, and she did not like her domineering attitude one bit.

It is an understatement to say that Kejoro liked the change in atmosphere. She savoured every moment that Caster's face is now in disapproval of her sudden taking of the position of authority. "You lack one ability the murdering Caster has. And that ability is…"

It's now Caster's turn to savor the moment by cutting Kejoro off her sentence. "Yes, I know that. Territory Creation. I lack ability in it just because I don't like it. But if you will summon me as a monster, then I can go on full rampage around Fuyuki City without even using that ability." Caster explained all of the horrific things that she can do in a monotone voice. After that explanation, she began her wisecracking snarks. "So please tell me, O most wise Goshujin – sama, why are you forcing me to learn an ability that I disdain much for centuries?"

Kejoro smirked as she has now prepared a counter weapon for her sarcastic statement just earlier. "You want to make a weapon, am I wrong?"

Although Caster wants to deny it, deep inside her heart she really wants to try something that she is comfortable with. She doesn't want to cast simple spells that could decimate an entire army in one incantation. She wanted to reinforce those spells in a practical way, by placing those spells in weapons that can guarantee the potency of it by two to threefolds. Formerly she tried reinforcement spells, and that saved her flimsy physical defenses from being overcome by a more stealthy and lethal person such as Assassin.

With that inquiry, she only gave a simple answer. "Yes…"

Kejoro marched on with her statements that will further cement her victory in the matter. "Second of all, you wanted to make a weapon that you yourself do not have an experience with, yet you will fight them with that weapon?" She tossed her a bokken, to which Caster attempted to catch it, but failed in a clumsy manner.

Caster pouted as she caught the bokken. "Then I'll just pump that with spells. My spells are guaranteed to hit the opponent anyway."

"That is not enough." Kejoro now mustered all the steel in her voice. Although she is grateful for Caster training her physical prowess, it seems that now it is her turn to train her Servant. She herself has no experience when it comes to Kendo, but seeing her Master Rikuo do it in his own time, at least she has gathered some experiences on stances and attacks. Caster can figure out the rest on how to infuse physical and magical attacks. She never thought that this day will come where she has to teach her a martial art that she has been fascinating to do for a long time.

"En guarde." Kejoro took her stance with the bokken in her hand, and Caster likewise did so. But with Caster's stance, Kejoro overpowered her easily in one strike on the head. She fell butt first on the floor.

"Hey, you did not say that you will…" Kejoro moved on to her, not breaking her stance, and pummelled the defending Caster with her strikes. Granted, it is not as fast and as strong as a normal person's kendo, but with her enthusiasm on that kind, those strikes have strength to it.

Fortunately for Caster, Kejoro is now exhausted from that sudden burst of energy and it is now Caster's turn to pummel her with her overhead strikes as soon as she slowed down. With her agility ranked B and her strength ranked C, she easily overpowered her exhausted Master.

At that point she realized how important a learned martial art is. Kejoro now smirked at her progress and she weakly stood up from her feet.

"We will continue this one tomorrow." She replied as she limped on the corridor. The Strength at C – rank is nothing to be sneezed at after all. Moreover, if the one they will face is an A – rank in strength, they will need to muster all the bulk they need to defend themselves.

She has a feeling that their muscles will be really sore before they can even get into their second fight.

It is still in the middle of the day, yet her mouth went open like a gaping fish at what she has now found out about that place. "What is…this place?"

She cannot find the words that will describe this place. It seems to her that a very powerful organization is in the works behind the barrier and the powerful surges of aura that they see. Akifusa wants to look away at the horror that is now meeting his eyes. Hidemoto watched all of this in an unamused expression.

"Yura – chan, you may want to go away from this place and directly go to Kejoro – san immediately. Also, she might have her familiar here to explain what is really happening here. But let me remind you, seven other familiars are here, and they are far stronger than the ones that we have encountered in our lives." He sensed three kings in their royal glory, a knight, a crazed man hell – bent on murder, a knight immersed in deep fury, and stealthy familiars looking for an opportunity to draw first blood. Truly, this is the place that Kejoro and Nurarihyon is talking about. Legends from every era are summoned here, threatening the spiritual balance of the world just by their existence alone.

Yura nodded to her shikigami, then turned to face Akifusa. "Onii – san, let's go. We don't want Kejoro to be waiting for us any longer."

It is now the onmyouji's turn to investigate the place, and to uncover everything behind these events. Surging power in specific areas are not meant to be trifled with, and a simple shutdown with their onmyou - jutsu can cost the country an entire destruction.

Bokken – a wooden sword commonly used for kendo practice, although it is used rarely. Bamboo swords are more common than these.

Onmyou – jutsu – techniques used by onmyouji to exorcise spirits and erect barriers.

EDITED (December 3, 2013): Missed some of the major events. -facepalm-

A/N: Forgive me for Hidemoto suddenly knowing about the Servants, but as he is described, he is a good judge when it comes to judging power levels. I will edit this one if I have the time.
