Chapter 6
True to his word Jack wrote to Lord Black the next day requesting that he come to his office at the ICW. While he knew that Arcturus retired after Voldemort was defeated, he did not believe that the man would follow through with it. Despite what others believed, he and Alex knew better as Arcturus fought in both wars against Grindelwald and Voldemort. The fact that most members of his house joined his cause had a tremendous effect on him and not only that he lost his sister and best friend to Voldemort.
To him it was understandable as to why the man would leave the agency as anyone would have after what they had seen and been through. Hopefully, he and Cassiopeia will be able to meet with him and hopefully bond with their nephew. However, it did not mean that he was going to take the chances as anything could happen and there was no way he was going to let Hadrian go meet them without protection. He had promised Severus that he will be there and that there will be guards; he be damned if there were none. After all he owed that much to his new nephew. Going over the letter again to make sure that it was clear and straight forward he called one of his house elves.
"Trixie" and with a pop the elf appeared in front of him. "What can Trixie do for Master Jack".
"I need you to go to Black's Castle and deliver this to Arcturus for me. If he asks why you are there, then say that I sent you and that I would like a reply. Tell him that it was urgent that I didn't send an owl or use the floo network".
The elf took the letter and spoke "it will be done sir" and with that she popped out of the lord's study to deliver the letter. Jack got up to leave the study and join his wife who was in the living room. While walking down the hall he was lost in thought as he did not know if the Blacks would even come to the meeting, but he was willing to try. Luckily, he did not put who would not be in attendance at the meeting as he did not want anyone who was with them to know what was going on. Arriving at the living room he noticed that his wife was on the couch looking over some files from her job.
Jack took out his wand and cast a tempus charm it indicated that it was ten after one meaning that they can relax in peace. Scanning the room, he noticed that Emily was not around "honey where is Emily at" he asked.
"Don't worry dear" she said while looking up from her files "she just had to use the bathroom for a bit and should be out soon."
"Did you send the letter to Arcturus yet" she asked earnestly. After dinner last night before they went to bed Jack told her about the discussion, he had with the others to have Arcturus and his sister involved. She knew her husband heart was in the right place, but it did not stop her from being concerned as something could go wrong.
"Yes, I sent Trixie to deliver the letter to them a few minutes ago" he confirmed.
The two continued to talk for a couple of minutes until Emily came rushing down to where they were "hi daddy she said getting his attention. "Hello pumpkin" he said as he picked her up and put her on his lap. She was dressed in a grey sweatshirt with house elves playing hockey and a pair of grey sweatpants.
"Daddy can I go play with Harry today please" she asked while putting on puppy dog eyes and playing with his fingers. Jack like to think he was tough but the look his daughter was giving him made his heart melt. It did not help that his wife was silently giggling as she knew her husband would never refuse Emily when she put on her puppy dog eyes.
Jack let out a breath as he to thought it would be good for her and Hadrian to play with one another "you can but you have to ask him alright honey".
She nodded her head excitedly before contacting him 'Harry are you there' she thought as she tried to reach him.
'I'm here little just reading'
'Can I come over and play please'
'Sure, I don't mind, just make sure Uncle Jack and Aunt Sarah are okay with it'
'Daddy said it was alright if I could'
'Okay come through even though my home is on lockdown the wards should let you and them come through unharmed'
She squealed before letting her parents know it was okay for her to come over. The two looked at each other for a minute before getting up and going to the floo network. Jack placed the manor on lockdown just to be safe, then in a flash of green flames they were gone.

In the far east stood the Japanese school of Mahoutokoro the palace was truly exquisite as it is reputation was known for being an elite magic school. As it was late the students were getting ready to head back to their dorms.
While the students who were younger than eleven were only day students, they were taken home by giant storm petrels unlike the boarders. The ones that did board the palace had a place at the base of the volcano. A four-story building that was used to house all the students that were eleven or older, every student had their own rooms. There were usually a few guards who patrolled the dorms to make sure that everyone was accounted for as curfew was strictly at ten.
The staff had returned to their quarters for the night, but two individuals stayed up: Headmaster Arata Yoshi and the Deputy headmaster Hayato Yamamoto. Headmaster Yoshi was a tall sixty-five year old man who radiated respect from both students and staff members. While he might have been strict with his students, he was fair and gave them chances to explain what they did or wanted. That said he was not someone they should cross as he would not hesitate to kick one of them out should they do something heinous or any other unethical things.
When Hayato returned from being abroad in England he immediately requested that he have a word with him privately. Arata knew better than anyone that if Hayato had something important to talk about then it would be best to hear him out. Not only that but the two were close as they were familiar with each other and often competed in their academics to see who was better.
"隼人さんが朝まで待たずに寒いのはなぜか詳しく説明してくれます" Arata looked at him critically before asking what was so important that could not wait. (Hayato explain to me in detail why it is that you could not wait till the morning to speak with me).
Expecting this as he knew his old friend well and was aware that he was not a person that liked to be kept waiting when something important was about to happen. "何かを言う前に、自分のものではないリスニングデバイスがないかオフィスをチェックする必要があります" he said firmly. (Before I tell you anything, I'm going to need you to check your office for any listening devices that are not yours). The two stared at one another for a minute before the headmaster activated the wards around his office to verify that no one was eavesdropping. After a couple of minutes of verifying that they were in the clear did he turn his attention back to his Deputy Head.
"話し始める" was all the man said as he had a feeling that he was going to be pissed later (Start talking).
And so Hayato told him about his meeting with ICW agents in England, his former pupil Severus, and the meeting with his son. He followed that up by explaining how Albus woefully ignored the wishes of two magus members. Finally, he said that Severus son wished to enroll in school here rather than at Hogwarts. Needless to say, Arata was shocked, pissed, and infuriated. He knew all to well about the power the Magus tribunal wielded and disregarding them was a hell storm waiting to happen. What really pissed him off was the fact that Dumbledore did it, he never trusted the man especially not after the first war with Grindelwald.
It irked him that so many of his students either fell or joined the bastard and it had taken over two decades for the old man to actually do something about it. However, when he did do something it was a little late as the psychopath and his army caused a lot of destruction and innocent lives. He remembered that he and his two sisters fought against the man and his youngest sister was killed by Grindelwald personally, while he and his other sister managed to survive with a few injuries. Arata never really trusted Albus as the man always seemed to have a hidden agenda and at the end of the war didn't do anything to curve his anger at the man for taking so long.
When Lord Voldemort came and started wreaking havoc along with his own army, it wasn't only the British Isles that were at war with him. Many of the fools death eaters came to Japan and murdered various members of the students and their families. If memory served right some were turned to werewolves and others were tortured into insanity. It was during this war where he lost his other sister and only then did, he gets involved and killed some of the death eaters. He had hopefully prayed Lord Voldemort was dead as two dark lords in his era were disasters.
Pulling out of his thoughts he looked back at Hayato "さて、あなたは私の注意を引いています。この子の名前は何ですか" (Alright you have my attention. What is the name of this child?)
"問題の少年は、2人の魔術師の息子と孫です。よく覚えているもの" (The boy in question is the son and grandson of two magus members. One that you remember well!"
"チャールスポッター孫ハドリアヌス" (Charlus Potter grandson Hadrian)
Yoshi's eyes widened as he remembered Potter- san very well. The two were old friends and fought alongside him and Arcturus Black in the old days. If memory served right the former and latter became the Commander and Captain of the ICW in England, but Charlus died fighting Voldemort. The former was even a magus and apparently so was his son.
"だから私は男の孫がここに来ると思います"( So I think the grandson of a man will come here) he said flatly. "彼はここに登録したいという願いの1つを使用しましたね" (He used one of their wishes to enroll here didn't he). It was not a question.
Hayato nodded confirming, Arata just shrugged a bit well it was a made by using one of the wishes of the magi's. With any luck the boy could become a great addition to the school, and it would probably irk Albus a bit which was a bonus prize.
"彼の入学試験の手紙を差し上げます。私はあなたがそれを彼の父に届けると信じますか" (I will give you his letter for the entrance exam. I trust you will deliver it to his father?) Hayato agreed and after being dismissed he left to return to his quarters. Arata began thinking about the events that were discussed this evening and they followed him to his own chamber where he went to sleep.

Back in the UK stood the ancestral home of the House of Black in Wales, Arcturus Black was a severe man with grey eyes and long black and gray hair that extended to his shoulder. At the moment he was in the Lord's study accompanied by his older sister Cassiopeia the two were sharing a glass of old Ogden's finest, while mourning the anniversary of their dead sister Dorea. Cassiopeia was many things cold, severe, stubborn, and cynical more so than her brother and younger sister were as she had high expectations and was not one to be taken lightly. She and Dorea may have had their share of arguments but they were sisters and they loved each other very dearly. When she heard that her sister was killed in battle, she wanted nothing more than to kill the bastards responsible for tearing apart her family.
When it came to her brother, she knew that he blamed himself for allowing things to go this far as he allowed the family to much freedom in deciding what their futures would be. That decision costed them dearly as the family was torn apart. They might have been members of the dark family but even then, they had a code of honor that they held dear. To Arcturus blood meant everything while he may have been a cold and ruthless person, there was nothing more important to him than his family. Now with his sister, wife, son, and daughter dead along with his nephew dead. There were only a few left Bellatrix had been sent to Azkaban with the Lestranges, Andromeda left the family to be with her muggle-born husband and had a daughter. The girl thought she was disowned but he knew differently when her parents came to him to have her removed, he refused them. They may have been her parents, but he was the head of the family and only he can disown them. The youngest Narcissa married Lucius Malfoy and had a son.
Neither Arcturus or Cassiopeia ever liked nor held the Malfoy family in high regards as they never trusted them. They were a family originally from France but were kicked out, Arcturus even attended the trial of the death eaters that were caught. Words could not describe how he felt when some of them escaped imprisonment by declaring that they were under the imperius curse. How they were unable to avoid Azkaban was pure insanity, he blamed the weak willed government as they had become a shower arse kisser with no set of balls.
While they were still mourning their family one of the house elves came in "master Arcturus, mistress Cassiopeia we have another elf that brings an important letter may I bring her in"?
The two elder Blacks prided themselves on having their elves dressed in proper clothes not mere potato sacks. Cassiopeia answered "bring her in Darwin and make sure that she doesn't have anything else on her" she ordered.
"It will be done mistress" with that the elf exited the room and brought in the female elf.
"State your name, the family you serve and the reason why you are here" Arcturus said roughly narrowing his eyes at the elf behind Darwin
The elf came from behind Darwin and spoke "I am Trixie of the Ancient and noble House of the Stevenson family" that got elders attention as they remembered Lord Stevenson and his wife and family well. Arcturus and Charlus trained the boy personally and watched as he fought side by side during the war. "Lord Stevenson requested that I deliver this letter to you and wait for your reply. He does not trust the floo network or owls" she handed him the letter.
Arcturus beckoned his sister to come over and see what was in the letter.
Dear, Lord Arcturus Black
You and your sister Cassiopeia presence are required in my office at the ICW on Monday at six in the evening. An issue has come up that concerns a family member of yours; also there is a matter that needs to be discussed when dealing with a certain idiot who has gone to far and has meddled in affairs that should not have been his.
Sincerely, Lord Jack Stevenson of the Ancient and noble House of the Stevenson
After reading the letter Cassiopeia spoke "what is this about a concern over our family is our business. Why would he get involved" she asked her brother.
"I don't know but Jack would never do something like this without good reason. If he knows something, then it is worth looking into" he said to her who just shrugged. Turning to the elf "tell your master that we will be there and that the explanation better be good" he said to her.
Trixie gave a respectful bow before being escorted out by Darwin, when they were both out of the study the two elders decided to talk.
"Something is going on Cassie and I don't like it" she silently agreed with him something was amiss. "The part about the idiot interfering in matters that didn't concern him was vexing".
"Yes, there are many people who get involved in matters that don't concern them though"
"True but it does bring one person to mind, one who is notorious for getting people to bend to his wishes", she knew who he was talking about.
"Dumbledore"
"Dumbledore" he confirmed
"Fucking goat what did that asshole do this time" she remember him well and was one of the few hundreds of people that were not swayed by his charisma. To her she wanted nothing more than to torture and kill the inflated fucker.

At Potter castle Jack and Sarah were watching the kids from inside the castle. The snow that was falling provided a blanket f it that spread all around the land. At the moment Harry and Emily were making snow angels under the supervision of Byakko. The monarch agreed to keep a close watch of the two kids while they were outside, and he couldn't help but let out a chuckle as he watched the two interact with each other.
Harry tried to reach his father, but the man declined stating that Minerva was getting suspicious of getting suspicious of why he was leaving so much. However, Severus promised that he will be present at the meeting should the Blacks accept and that he will be there when the yule holiday came. While Harry was disappointed that his dad couldn't come today, he understood why as it would be bad if one of Dumbledore followers came and reported where he was. At least his dad promised to be over for the yule holiday if he could.
The two children continued to play in the snow and now they were making snowman! Harry called one of the house elves and asked them to bring a few items so they can put them on when they were done creating them. It had taken thirty minutes, but they were able to create four different snowmen, with that done they started decorating them with raisins for the eyes and mouth and the carrot for the noses. Emily was especially excited by the two miniature snowmen standing between the two bigger ones that Harry made. So naturally Harry helped her decorate them first, after they were done the moved onto the bigger ones. She tried to put the items on, but they were to high and she couldn't reach its head.
Hadrian noticed that she was standing on her toes but was still to short to get them on, "Emily would you like some help" he asked her, and she nodded her head fervently. "Alright get on my shoulders, this way I can give you a boost" he said getting on his knees to boost her up. She immediately got on and saw that she was high enough to reach the snowman's head, then put the things on. Then proceeded to do the same thing to the second one, when she was done, she commented on how they looked like them and her parents. That shocked him as he had wished that his birth parents were alive to see this but, seeing the little three year old happy brought a smile to his face.
He put her back down on the ground as they were admiring their creations when Sarah called them "Harry, Emily time to come in".
"Ok be right there" Harry said before turning to Emily "ready to go back inside" he asked her. To which she shook her head wanting to play some more, the smile that was on her face was replaced by a one of sadness. Harry placed a hand on her head and flashed her a smile "I know I want to play some more too but Aunt Sarah is right it's getting colder. We can have lunch in front of the fire if you want" that seemed to bring a small smile to her face. As they were going back, they noticed that Byakko was in front of them and entered the home.
Nearing the castle Emily tried to run in but she slipped and fell on her face, when Harry went to go pick her up, she looked teary eyed as tears threatened to come out. In a moment of instinct, he wiped the snow out of her hair giving her a soft smile that seemed to do the trick as they were both laughing. The two proceed to go inside and found Jack by the fire drinking a cup of coffee.
He turned his head "are you to hungry" asking the two of them. To which they gave a nod, Jack asked for one of the house elves to bring some sandwiches and something to drink. Hadrian asked Jack if they can eat next to the fireplace as it would have made Emily happy. The man agreed and had their lunches brought in the living room. They all enjoyed the nice lunch that was prepared for them and were having a talk about the snowman that were created. It was more Emily talking about them rather than Harry, but even if he weren't talking much the adults could see that he enjoyed himself.
The four continued to talk but the elves came in to let him know that an elf named Trixie was requesting to come over. Harry granted the elf permission and made a mental note to let them know that worked in Stevenson manor were allowed to come to his ancestral home. The little elf returned to reply the message to Jack letting him know that the Blacks will be coming Monday to his office.
"Good I will let Alex know then, thank you Trixie you may leave now" he dismissed her, and she vanished with a pop. Jack looked at Harry "let Severus know that the Blacks will be coming Monday at the prescribed time please".
Harry gave a nod and was about to send a mental message to his father but stopped and looked at his uncle "hold on there something we need to consider first". Jack beckoned him to continue "dad told me that one of the staff members at Hogwarts was getting suspicious of why he was leaving often. If this continues then she might think something else is up".
Jack could not help but agree with the boy's logic and concern as it would not be good if someone started tailing Severus. They could possibly find out that he is the boy's actual adoptive father. Thinking for a minute he got an idea "I'll have Alex send a letter to Severus requesting him to come to his office to discuss the project Severus has been working on."
"Also, I can have him say that Hayato told Alex about the new invention. This way no questions will be asked and hopefully the meeting will go uninterrupted. By doing this he will have a solid alibi and anyone one foolish enough to come and stop it will have to answer to the commander personally."
Harry seemed to like the idea however, it was not his call to make as it was his father's choice. Reaching out to him with their mental link 'hey dad it's me I have some news for you'.
'Hey, is for horses son, human beings say hello' Severus corrected him.
'So why is my mom human' he said half-heartedly joking
'Funny!' Severus was not amused 'what do you need'
Hadrian told him that the Blacks would be coming to the meeting Monday six o'clock but recommended that he be there at earlier to get everything prepared. He even told him about the conversation he had with Jack so this way he can come without anyone being suspicious and it would get Dumbledore off his back for a while. Severus was intrigued with this information and it would get him out of the castle, making up his mind he spoke to Hadrian.
'Alright let Jack know that I agree with this and that I will be at his office early'
'Will do dad! Talk to you later'
"Goodbye Harry. Remember to have the house elves be ready to get the items from the Dumbledore's office when he leaves' he reminded him.
'Don't worry I know what to do and they will be ready' After that father and son cut off the link to return to their activities.
Harry told Jack that Severus agreed and that he will be there at the meeting. Jack got up and went to go speak with Alex to let him know about the plan, he promised that he will come back when the two were done. When Jack left Harry noticed that Emily was about to fall asleep and told Sarah, she picked up her daughter to take her for a nap. Harry took them to one of the bedrooms so she can put the little girl to sleep, while Sarah was tending to Emily, Harry went back to the living room to where Byakko was to go and chat with him.
All in all, it was a good day as the kids got to play outside and enjoy the snow. The adults had gotten a chance to relax their nerves most notably Jack. From what Harry could tell it appeared as if the man was having a hard time sleeping, based on what he knew from his grandfather. Being a commander and captain was tiring as they had a lot of responsibilities to deal with when handling their jobs. So, Harry could only imagine what the man was going through.

The day of the meeting it was agreed that they would meet in Jack's office where he his wife and daughter along with commander Taymore and lieutenant Burnett would be present along with sergeant Stone. At the moment it was currently 5:20 and the adults were getting everything prepared. When everything was being prepared Severus came in with a boy who looked like he was from South America with his short brown hair and blue eyes.
Taymore gave the lieutenant and sergeant strict orders to wait outside the door when the Blacks arrived and to have their badges ready in case things went south. There attention was drawn to the tiger that was standing next to the boy, looking at the commander as to why he waved them off sitting that the tiger was the boys familiar.
Severus looked around to see that everything was in place and all the precautions were met to his satisfaction. He might have agreed with the Blacks, but it didn't mean that he had to like it. Severus made sure that Hadrian was armed and ready should things go south in the boys robes was a dagger and his grandfather's wand. Harry desperately wanted his own wand, while his grandfather wand was powerful, and he was able to practice magic with it he couldn't shake the feeling that it was not operating at it's full potential.
Taking a look at the time it read 5:45 meaning it was almost time, just as he was about to feel relieved a knock was heard on the door. Jack motioned for the sergeant to see who it was, Richard opened the door to see who it was and reported back that the Blacks have arrived. "Bring them in" was all the commander said and they were met with Lord Black along with his sister.
Lord Black looked at captain Stevenson and gave him a nod "what is this about boy we were busy" he said severely, his eyes boring into the man. Even after all these years the man still looked intimidating to Jack, not to mention his sister was as equally if not scarier. Emily hid behind Harry as she was scared of the two.
Jack schooled his features before speaking "I'm glad you two could come this evening as some of us here didn't know if you could be trusted. Before we begin, I need sergeant Stone and lieutenant Burnett to check you to over".
Arcturus smirked he was glad that his former protégé was utilizing what he was taught years ago, his sister didn't share the same view as she was about to protest. He knew all to well how his sister could be and decided to stop her before she could make a say something.
"No Cassie" he cut her off "he is right as this seems to be important" he said to his sister while giving her look that dared her to argue otherwise. The two stared at each other for what seemed like forever and the woman flared her nostrils before giving in. Arcturus looked at who were the occupants and when he saw Severus, he simply sneered at him. Severus didn't care a put a comfortable hand on his son's shoulder when he saw him tense up.
"Are you fools on a break get on with it" he ordered the two officers, and they did a quick scan of him and his sister.
"Thank you both, wait outside and make sure we are not disturbed" the commander said.
"Yes sir" the two said and saluted him, before stepping out of the office to stand guard. Taymore put a strong locking charm on the door, so no one could get in or out.
Jack turned his attention to the Blacks after getting the all clear "I will make this situation perfectly clear to the both of you. You two are here because Dumbledore has meddled in your lives and has caused some taboos against your house as well as the House of Potters".
Arcturus was immediately on guard as he had a feeling that the old goat had something to do with what had happened to sister's family. He may only meet her son a few times, but it didn't mean that he held him in high regards. To him the boy was more of a troublemaker who just wanted to play around waste his time playing pranks with his idiot grandson. While the boy might have had impressive skills in transfiguration and ancient runes it didn't mean that he would acknowledge him as something great.
When he learned that the boy was training to become an agent for the ICW he immediately thought it was a joke as it seemed like he would only cause problems. However, after seeing how dedicated the boy was to his job did, he even give him a chance. After learning that he was a magus the old man nearly fainted as to how he even got that ranking.
Even so the boy was his nephew and when he learned that he was killed by Voldemort had burned him to the core. Family was everything to him and Voldemort tore it apart with his blasted war. If the mother fucking bastard was not dead, then he does it himself or die trying. In life there were certain lines that were never to be crossed and that asshole crossed the biggest one messing with his family.
Arcturus narrowed his eyes at Jack silently telling him to continue. "Arcturus, Cassiopeia I would like you to meet your nephew Hadrian Potter" he said bringing their attention to the boy near Severus. With a nod from his uncle the boy morphed back into his natural state, this completely shocked the two elder Blacks as the boy was a metamorphmagus a dominant trait of the House of Black.
Hadrian took a few steps forward and greeted them with a respectful bow "Lord Black, Aunt Cassiopeia it's an honor to meet the both of you. I have heard much about the both of you" he said meeting their gaze. The two were silently impressed with the child mannerism as he acted like a proper heir. He might have had the characteristics of the Potter family considering the unruly hair of his, but he also had the cheekbone's of the Black family.
They noticed the white tiger standing next to him and assumed that it was the boy's familiar given how the way it was looking at the duo daring them to harm him. Cassiopeia and her brother shared a look and as if reading each other's thought's decided to test him. Putting their hands in their pockets where their wands were, they saw the boy get into a defensive stance with a wand and dagger in his hands ready to attack if provoked.
The two were silently impressed as indicated by the booming laugh that came from Arcturus "your quick but not that quick. Tell me if I killed the tiger, that ex death eater they're and the girl behind you what would you do" he asked while looking the boy in the eye.
Severus was beginning to lose his patience and had his wand ready "don't even think about making a move Black, if you try anything then" he was cut off by Harry who held a hand up.
"Then I would suggest that you kill me too as there will be nothing stopping me from coming after you" he answered getting ready to make a move if needed.
"Do you think you can beat me boy"
"Probably not right now, but I'm sure that I'll be able to give you some nightmares should you try anything. I am not afraid of you, either of you" he said firmly while having an intense stare off with the man.
Arcturus chuckled as the boy reminded him of his brother in all but blood ruthless but honorable. "I see you really are Charlus grandson, the fire in your eyes it reminds me of him."
Harry relaxed pocketing his weaponry and went to go stand next to his sister "before we begin there are some people who would like to talk to the both of you" with that he summoned two of his house elves and asked them to bring the portraits of his parents and grandparents. Within the next few minutes, the elves returned with the portraits and remained in the room per there master instructions.
Right before the adults could talk Hadrian asked if Sarah could take Emily home as the girl seemed scared of the two elderly wizard and witch. She nodded in compliance as she to noticed that her daughter felt uneasy about being in a room with them. They said their goodbyes and left through the floo network.
He watched as his grandfather and uncle talked "well Archie it seems that you have aged into the grumpy person you always were" Charlus said.
"And it appears you're still the same son of a bitch who can get on my nerves you swine" Arcturus retorted.
The two bursts into laughter and after a few minutes calmed down "it's good to see you brother, you have been missed" Charlus said
"While it pains me to admit to this, it's good to see you as well Charlie" he replied with the nickname he knew Charlus hated. "From the grave you can't get me back" he laughed at his friends attempt to look at angry.
The sister reconciled after not seeing each other after a couple of years, "Dorea" Cassiopeia began speaking while looking at her younger sister even though it hurt her in the inside that she was dead. "I know we had our disagreements, but I want you to know that I've missed you not a day goes by when I don't think about you".
"The feeling is mutual, and I have missed you Cassie! For a woman who is cold, strict, and stubborn as a mule you have a big heart" Dorea said to her and saw she was about to say something hot headed. "Easy sis I already knew; you act so cruel time to time, but I always knew it was a cover. Besides what we know and discussed stays between us" she smiled.
"Even after all these years you can still get on my nerves" she mumbled to her.
"I learned from the best on how to get on peoples nerves" Dorea told her.
They were about to continue but Byakko let out a roar to get their attention "while I understand that you all want to catch up, I believe it can wait till after the meeting" he declared.
The elder Blacks were completely shocked at the fact that the tiger had just spoke English "I must be suffering from old age because I swear, I just heard that tiger speak" he said exasperated.
Charlus chuckled at his discomfort "I know what you mean as we were shocked when we found out to. But Byakko is right we do need to proceed forward" and with that he began. Charlus filled them in on everything that was going to what happened that night James and Lily died, how Albus set up Severus and used him to leak the contents of a prophecy to Voldemort resulting in their deaths. Explaining about how Hadrian ended up with Lily's sister Petunia and her family and what they put his grandson through and almost killing him. He further explained that Byakko was Harry true familiar and how it was decided that Severus would be the boy's adoptive father as they couldn't let Albus find out it was agreed that Jack would be proxy in his stead.
He further explained on how Albus stole the rights of being Hadrian's magical guardian from Jack and the various things he's taken from the House of Potter. Lastly, he explained that Albus had taken Hadrian's blood and used it to power tracking charms on the boy. After explaining everything to them both the duo was sporting expression of shock and pure rage and if looks could kill then everyone in the room would be dead. Arcturus was especially peeved at the old man as he dared meddle and send his nephew to those filthy muggles. If he could right now, he kills them without even a second thought for what they did to him. Cassiopeia looked about ready to go to Hogwarts and strangle Albus with her hands and feed him to the dementors.
Arcturus had been through many things in life, but none could have explained how he was feeling right now, taking a few breaths to calm himself. He turned to look at Hadrian "I may not have been happy when I found out father married your mother, but he was my nephew and my blood Albus has gone too far this time. You might be her son half blood or not, but you still share my blood."
"What makes you think I'm a half blood" he asked the old man.
"Your mother was a muggleborn was she not" he answered as it was obvious.
"No Arcturus she was not" came from Cassiopeia "the girl was a pureblood". That shocked not only him but the Potters of the old and her sister as they were unsure as to how she knew.
Dorea recovered first "how long have you know" she asked her sister.
Cassie rolled her eyes "since forever evidently you forgot little sister" she jabbed at her "but I'm a Black we can get information if it suits our purposes. Also, I worked at the ICW for years they got information on everyone here. Did you honestly think I would have gone to my nephew's wedding if she were a muggleborn give me some credit".
This shocked everyone as Cassie knew about Lily's blood status, the one mostly shocked was Arcturus as his sister knew this and didn't tell him about it. "If you knew why you didn't tell me from the start" he questioned her.
"One you never asked me to verify if she was a muggleborn" she said to him enjoying the expression on his face as it was priceless. "Second it would not have been my place to tell you as it was not my secret. Third I am a woman we enjoy keeping men guessing and out of the loop, now be a good brother and behave will you" she may have said it in a nice tone but Arcturus new that there was danger in her voice. Merlin his sister was dangerously smart and quite cunning when she wanted to be out of all the Blacks none of them ever made his head spin or got under his skin the way she did.
"I swear to merlin's name that you're going to be the death of me one day woman" she simply smirked at him. "So is there anything else that we need to discuss today" he asked still irritated.
Severus stepped up "Hadrian will be taking the entrance exam in Japan at the end of February and I need one of you to take him to get his wand. But before that understand if my son is treated unfairly by either of you then you will suffer my displeasure and trust me it will not end well", he said while giving them a hard gaze showing that he meant what he said.
Arcturus was about to retort but was cut off by James "leave it Uncle Severus is behaving the way that I would have behaved. Besides, you can't blame him for not trusting you considering after what me and Sirius put him through". Arcturus muttered something unintelligent but relented, it was true that while he was a member of the dark family, he was still a father.
"Fine then we will escort him to the entrance exam, I trust that he will need to get his supplies as well and a new wand as the one he has is Charlus's old one" he nodded at the man. "Very well then" he grudgingly agreed, "I remember Charlus telling me that the Potters have a manor in Japan, we will stay there." After receiving an affirmative nod from Charlus.
Resigning himself and hoping to avoid any other headaches he spoke up "this is what is going to happen no arguments" he said looking at everyone daring them to say something. "I want all the information on that motherfucking goat nothing is too small. What we have so far is good but we're going to need more in case he tries anything".
"Next I want you to have that idiot man child of a grandson put in one of the lower level cells in Azkaban. I'm assuming he was just carted off to that wretched place without a trial, that's good we can use that to our advantage. He might have been a disappointment, but he is still my grandson and if he did betray the Potters then I want to know why."
"Hold on a minute" Hadrian spoke up "what in it for you, why are you going through so much trouble just to help me and your grandson in the first place" he asked suspiciously. His grandparents may trust him, but he wanted to be sure if the man was righteous.
Arcturus nodded in appreciating the boy's question as he was being cautious "Dumbledore crossed the line when he messed with my family and he needs to pay for what he did. Sirius might have been a man child, but he was loyal to your father as the two were as close as brothers. Plus, this way I can prove that Albus is not untouchable" that seemed to be good enough to placate the boy.
"You are right not to be so trusting of others, always be on your guard as you don't know who will be on your side or against you" he said firmly to the boy who nodded understandingly.
After everything was agreed upon the members began filing out of the room. Thee elves returned the portraits to the castle and Harry was about to step through the floo but was halted by his aunt Cassiopeia "hold on young man!" He turned around to meet her gaze "before we you return home; I like to know how far along you are in your studies. I've been told that the curriculum in Japan is difficult and the entrance exam will be hard."
Hadrian looked at his father, who just shrugged "right now my theory and practical works are strong. Though I do wish I had my own wand, my grandfather's wand is powerful and gets the job done but the connection is not with me" he admitted.
Cassie looked at the boy "hmm I like to meet you again to see how strong your magic is." Severus was about to respond but she beat him to it "calm down Snape I will not harm him in any way I promise. I just want to see how far along he really is".
Severus seemed to be struggling in the inside as he did not know whether to agree or disagree in letting her see Hadrian's abilities. He looked at the boy in question and after a brief mental discussion did, he relent.
"Very well then but another time and I trust that both of you will be coming to see not just you" they both agreed and after saying goodbye did everyone vacate the room.
A/N: Hadrian has met Lord Arcturus Black and his aunt Cassiopeia both are on board with the plan. The reason why I had Sirius moved is because the man was sent without a trial and held in the high security prison in Azkaban. I will need him sane for when Pettigrew gets caught as the time their will make him irrational.
Here's a preview Harry get's two wands next chapter, he'll spend the next few years in Japan. Dumbledore eventually finds out and goes there to have him transferred to Hogwarts.
