(February 13)
As the wind blows down over the mountain, covering everything in fresh layers of snow. Jasmine had a fire burning in the fireplace, and as the smoke rises to the night sky. Jasmine had been in the mountains for almost two weeks by herself full isolated from the outside world. But Jasmine had enjoyed her time alone. Writing in journal thoughts and feeling about everything that has happened to her. Keep up with work out, reading, watching movies, cooking, sleeping.
Jasmine was sitting sofa reading a book. The name of the book was called Shot All to Hell: Badass Outlaws, Gunfighters, and Lawmen of the Old West 1st Edition and drinking hot cocoa. When a loud knock on her door. Jasmine put the bookmark in the book and lay it to her feet, and grabbed her silver stake from the coffee table. Moving over to the window and peeking out to find three dark figures standing on the porch.
Jasmine unlocking the door and pulled it open. Step back with fire in Jasmine's left hand and a silver stake in the right. Jasmine asked, 'Who are you, and why are you knocking on my door?" Dimitri's voice cut the night air saying, "Jasmine Hathaway!" Jasmine said, "Maybe. Who asking?" Dimitri step threw frame of the door and saying, "Put it out." Jasmine said, "Cowboy!"
Dimitri steps through the door while Rose says, "Hurry up. I'm freezing out here." Damon said, "We in the middle of a fucking blizzard Rose." Jasmine, taking a few deep breaths, and the fire disappeared from Jasmine's hand. Dimitri, Damon, and Rose walked into the living area and locked the door. Jasmine said, "I make coffee. Why don't we all warm ourselves by the fire?" Turn and walking into the kitchen, leave everyone in the living area.
Damon, Rose, and Dimitri walked into the kitchen. Founding Jasmine log cabin had a full stock kitchen. Rose said, "Damn! Jasmine. You were so lucky that you found this nice beautiful-looking cabin in the mountains?" Jasmine said, "Thanks, Rosie. I just had killed a strigoi for it." Damon said, "Adrian stated it was one of them that raped you." Damon walked up behind Jasmine, giving her a big bear hugged, and asking, "How are you doing?" Jasmine said, "Great. Now that all of you are. I have someone to talk to now."
Dimitri said, "This log cabin was kind of hard to found off the beaten path. But I have good news for you. It's time for you to return to the academy." Jasmine said, "Have you lost your mind? I have to be out here for a month and not a couple of weeks. I think someone academy might have made a mistake, and all three arrived too soon to get me. Plus we are in the middle of a fucking blizzard."
Dimitri said, "There was a mistake made at the academy. We found out that Queen Tatiana didn't send you out here." Jasmine said, "Do I still get credit for my fieldwork?" Dimitri said, "Yes. Jasmine said, "I hate to tell all of you that they're a blizzard outside. I'm not going out in it. All of us are going to have stayed here until it passes. It's going to take a while until it does." Rose said, "Sounds like fun to me." Jasmine said, "That reminded me soon. I have going to go outside to get more firewood and check the generator. It might need to be, refilled again." Damon said, "I come with you. Just make sure nothing happens to you."
Dimitri asked, "Where are the cups at?" Jasmine reached open the cabin and said, "The can of milk in the icebox and sugar is right here. The spoon is in the drawer over there." Rose walked across the floor. Stepping on the trap door to the root cellar, and hear a creak. Make Rose stop in her tracks and started looking around. Jasmine said, "It's OK. Rose is just standing on the trap door that goes to the root cellar." Damon said, "You have a root cellar?" Jasmine said, "Yes!" Rose reached down, pulled the rug back, and found a trap door on the floor.
Dimitri said, "Move Roza. Dimitri pulled out his stake and opening the trap door. Dimitri heading downstairs first, Rose, Damon, and Jasmine moved stairs. Jasmine reaches over and turns on the light. Damon, Rose, and Dimitri could see the root cellar stock with food. Rose said, "Holy shit!" Dimitri said, "There has a lot of food that someone could live here for years." Jasmine said, "I know." Rose said, "I am hungry." Jasmine said, "When are you not hungry?" Damon said, "When she sleeping." Jasmine turns around said, "Are you come or you do stay down here all night?" Jasmine head up the stairs to the log cabin. Dimitri, Damon, and Rose walked up to the log cabin.
The light started flicking on and off. Jasmine knew it was time to go and get firewood and check on the generator. Jasmine head to the front door. Dimitri closes the trap door and turns around to see Jasmine left the kitchen. Dimitri called out for Jasmine. Jasmine didn't answer back. Rose turned to see Jasmine's coat, and the hat was gone. Rose said, "Jasmine gone into the storm." Dimitri said, "Jasmine said that she had to get firewood and check on the generator. The power in the log cabin went out."
(Thirty minutes later.)
The front door opens. Jasmine comes walking through it and carrying a basket full of firewood. Damon said, "Honey! Why didn't you wait for me?" Jasmine said, "I told all of you that I had to get firewood and check on the generator. Maybe next time, all of you will listen to me. When I tell you that I have to go check on the generator. When the lights started flicking on and off. That means I couldn't wait around until you get your head out of your ass to do it." Pushing basket in Damon's arms, and said, "make yourself useful and stack the wood by the fireplace." Jasmine closes the door and locked it. Start taking her coat, boots, hat, and gloves off.
Jasmine walked into the kitchen to make more hot cocoa. Dimitri walked up behind Jasmine, put his arms around her waist, and said, "Good see that you are taking charge." Jasmine looked up at Dimitri and said, "Being isolated out here in the mountains. You will learn to do things by yourself and can't wait around for someone to do it for you." Dimitri said, "I think you have learned the lesson well. But now, I am here to help teach new lessons. It tasted better with two packs." Jasmine looked up at Dimitri, and said, Now! I have picked more marshmallows out of a cup. Dimitri said, "I remember that you don't like marshmallows. You don't like smell and taste. You found the taste too sweet." Jasmine looked surprised to see Dimitri remember that didn't like marshmallows.
Dimitri said, "Adrian stated me that killed strigoi." Jasmine said, "One of the three that raped me three years ago. His name was Clayton Remington is number two. Strigoi have a big mouth when they think that going to win. I get information on the other two who raped me that night. Jeremy here in mountains somewhere, and Braxton in Russia. Braxton works for Galena. Dimitri stop and looked down at Jasmine, not telling her that he knew Galena. Galena used to work at St. Basil's academy as an instructor. Jasmine said, "After I got information from him, I give him a quick death. Then drag his ass off the porch and left it over by a tree for the wild animal to have."
When stainless steel tea kettles started whistling, Jasmine reached over the stove and turned it off. Reach down, picked the kettle caution, and pouring hot water into the orange coffee mug. Dimitri said, "I would like to see the title of the log cabin." Jasmine said, "It up stair in my bedroom in the pack. Dimitri saying, "If you have done get your cocoa. Now let us go upstairs, and you can get the title to this log cabin and the letter that came with it."
Jasmine, Dimitri walked out of the kitchen to found Rose and Damon talking about something. Jasmine turns, heading up the stairs and walking down the hallway to her bedroom. Opening the door walked inside with Dimitri following behind her. Jasmine, sitting down her cup on the table. Jasmine reached down and picking her pack off the floor. Put the backpack on the bed. Unzipped the middle zipper and reached down, pulling out a zip-lock bag with the title and the two letters inside. Dimitri walked closer to Jasmine and took the zip-lock bag from her. Dimitri opens the zip-lock bag and pulled them out. Start reading them, and founding Jasmine were sent out here for a month by Queen Tatiana. Dimitri could see the letter looked right with Queen Tatiana's marks. Looking up at Jasmine, and said, someone, has gone to a lot of work to you out of the way.
Jasmine grabbed the letter from Dimitri. Flipping over and viewing the back of the document. Founding a fade inshallah upset down to the paper. Found N.I. Jasmine said, "Damn it!" Dimitri asked, "What did you found on the back of the document? Jasmine said, "I believe the person for me sending out is Nathan Ivashkov." Jasmine looked at Dimitri and said, "Why are people trying to kill me?" Dimitri said, "I get the feeling that you get misjudged a lot or don't understand you. But you will show them all." Jasmine smiled at Dimitri. Dimitri reached over and grabbed Jasmine started kissing Jasmine. Hear Rose's and Damon's voices coming down the hallway heading to the bedroom. Dimitri broke the kiss, turn back to the title of the log cabin. Dimitri said, "Sorry!" Jasmine said, "Not the first time that we kiss. The last time was in Portland." Dimitri smiled and remember that memory.
Rose and Damon walked into the bedroom. Damon said, "What is going on? Jasmine just looked at Damon and said, "I was thinking about fixing dinner." Rose said, "What thinking about?" Both Dimitri and Damon looking at Rose and Jasmine. Jasmine asked, "Do you want elk, bear, or rabbit?" Rose says, "Rabbit!" Jasmine said, "Do you want potatoes and carrots too?" Rose said "Yes!" Dimitri and Damon laughing this time. Dimitri thought this time it is Rose and not Jasmine.
Jasmine was standing in the kitchen, finishing up cooking Wild Rabbit Fricassee with potatoes, carrots, and onions. When Dimitri came into the kitchen and found Jasmine standing at the stove, turn the rabbit. Put his hands on her waist and looked over her shoulder. Jasmine glanced up to Dimitri stood behind her with his hands around her waist. Dimitri asking, "What are you cooking? It smells really good." Jasmine said, "It's wild rabbit fricassee. Dimitri said, "It has a rabbit in it?" Jasmine Saying, "Rose wants to try some rabbit meat. So cooking rabbit. I found the rabbit tasted like chicken. You like it."
Jasmine, turn back to dinner and said dinner is ready. Dimitri said, "Let me help you remove that pan off the stove. So you don't get burnt." Rose came into the kitchen and found Dimitri helping in the kitchen. Get the pan off the stove for Jasmine. Rose said, "Comrade. I did know you could cook?" Jasmine said, "Cowboy didn't cook Rosie. I did. Jasmine push Rose out of the way. Opening of the icebox. Rose asked, "Can I help you in the kitchen?" Jasmine reached into the icebox and pulling out the red wine. Dimitri said, "Jasmine! Where in the hell did you get wine come from?" Jasmine said, Root cellar their wine rakes downstairs."
Damon came into the kitchen and asked, "What are we having for dinner?" Jasmine said, "Wild Rabbit Fricassee with potatoes, carrots, and onions." Damon said, My mother used to cook Wild Rabbit Fricassee with tomato, and it is the best eat that I ever had." Rose and Jasmine just looked at each other and back at Damon. Jasmine said, "Good for her." Damon looked odd at Jasmine. Dimitri said, "Jasmine is allergic to tomatoes could die from eating them." Jasmine said, "Good thing that I have Epi-Pen in my pack upstairs just encase. Dimitri said, "That is good to know that Epi-pen just encases we have used it on you."
Damon said, "I didn't know you couldn't have tomato. Jasmine said, "Bullshit! I told that I couldn't have them. But you never listen." Damon grabbed Jasmine and pulled her close to him. Saying I don't mean to hurt your feeling or upset you. Jasmine put arms around Damon and lay her head on her chest.
Everyone started getting their plates. Going into the living area, start eating and talking to each other. Dimitri was telling about Adrian threw a party. Jasmine said, "I'm not surprised to hear that Adrian threw a party. Rose went to the Adrian party. Drink way too much." Rose said, "Because of Adrian." Jasmine said, "No surprise there. We all know that Rose can't hold her alcohol." Rose said, "Jasmine." Jasmine said, "I video of Rose drinking too much." Damon said, "I don't that Jasmine has ever drunk alcohol before? Rose, Jasmine, and Dimitri started laughing. Jasmine said, "Unlike Rose. I hold alcohol." Damon looked surprised to found that Jasmine had a drink.
(A Few hours later.)
Jasmine started yawning and said, "I guess it's time for bed. We all had a long day. Hell, I can't tell if it's day or night around here." Dimitri looked down at his watch and said, "Night time." Jasmine said, Human or Moroi time. Dimitri said, "Human!" Jasmine said, "I have four bedrooms and two bathrooms in a log cabin."
Dimitri told Damon that needed to checks all windows and door before going to bed. Just make sure nothing can be inside. Jasmine and Rose went upstairs. Jasmine show Rose her bedroom.
Jasmine was in the master bedroom to get ready for bed. Damon was checking the window at the end of the hall. Damon turns to see the master door a little open. Damon stopped and slowly turned around to face Dimitri. Damon said, "Just check on Jasmine. I want to make sure everything is alright before I go to bed." Dimitri had the feeling Damon was lying to him.
Dimitri said, "I just checked on Jasmine, and she is sleeping. I don't want you going into her bedroom without good reason." Damon said, "Checking on Jasmine is a good reason. I care for her." Dimitri stepped closer to Damon and keeping his voice low. Dimitri said, "I feel that you are hiding more real reason than planning on Jasmine's bedroom."
Damon said, "Are you out of your mind?" Dimitri said, "Janine told me to keep both of them safe. Even keep you away from you. Then I will." Danon said, "I'm not the bad guy. Not like Natasha Ozera that tries to kill Jasmine." Dimitri said "Now, Nathan Ivashkov sent Jasmine here to died." Damon said, "Maybe Nathan Ivashkov was compelled kind like you was. Maybe Nathan was upset that Jasmine didn't come to dinner with him back at the lodge." Dimitri said, "Maybe."
Dimitri said, "But it's time for your return to your room and gets sleep. Your shift is for the next four hours." Damon started across the hall to his bedroom. Dimitri knew anyone was going to sleep in Jasmine's bed was going to be him or Rose and Jasmine.
