One week later
Anakin
I can't stop thinking about Padme what if she dies because of what I did. Maybe it's not to late maybe I can still go to Palpatine and ask him for help and then once he's saved my wife I can come back no one has to know. This is the only way. I can't let her die. "I'm going to the town to buy us some more food I'll be back later." I said hoping they wouldn't see through my lies.
I'll go with you." Ahsoka told me jumping up from her seat on the couch. She's been watching me very closely since I almost fell to the dark side thatday in the chancellor's office.
"It's okay Ahsoka why don't you stay here and keep Obi Wan Padme and Rex company." I prayed that for once in her life she would listen to me.
"Fine but please be careful." She said concerned.
"I'll be fine snips." I then walked out the door going to our ship and immediately flying away I had to get to Palpatine before it was to late.
Ahsoka
I knew Anakin was planning something but I had know idea what. I wish he'd just let me help him. I don't wanna lose him. I suddenly heard a scream and turned around and saw Padme with a look of agony on her face.
"The baby's coming." She told us.
Obi Wan and Rex immediately went to help Padme and I decided to call Anakin. "Master the baby is coming you have to get back here now." I told him hoping he hadn't gone to far.
Anakin
I was about to make the jump to hyperspace whenmy comm link beeped. "Master the baby is coming you have to get back here now." I heard Ahsoka say and I froze. I was to late Padme was gonna die. I began to cry not knowing what to do.
I flew back down to Tatooine knowing I have to be there for my wife and child in there last moments. I ran inside "where's Padme?" I asked immediately needing to see her.
"Over there Anakin she's in labor." Obi Wan told me and I gave him a great full look.
I immediately ran to her and held her hand tears streaming down my face. "I'm sorry Padme I didn't save you. I was going to but then you went into labor I was to late. I'm so sorry if you die it's all my fault."
"No Anakin I'm glad you didn't do anything dumb to save me and I'm not gonna die so don't worry so much." She said then began to scream. A medical droid then pulled out a beautiful baby boy. "Luke" we said together. He then handed me the baby. Padme started screaming again and my heart stopped this was it I thought she's dying. The droid then pulled out a girl "Leia" Padme said smiling as the droid handed her Leia.
"They're beautiful" I said happier then I had ever been in my life. "Welcome to your new home Luke and Leia."
