On Halloween night in Green Hills while Shaggy was paying a visit to his cousin, Shaggy was dressed in a DIY Blue Falcon costume while Scooby was in a DIY Dynomutt costume. Currently they were on their way back home after getting a pillowcase full of candy.

"RI love Halloween." Scooby says

"Like, so do I" Shaggy responds. "And might I say, you do look good in that costume."

"RThanks, Raggy. RIt's all in the hips." Scooby stated in response

They then walked by the house with the address number 1313. Scooby took one look at it and went wide eyed.

"RWow. RBig house, BIIIG candy." Scooby says

Shaggy takes one look at the hoouse and knows what house it is.

"Like, no way, bro. That's the Rigby house. It's haunted." Shaggy explains with a shiver

"RHaunted?" Scooby relies with a gulp

"Yeah, let's get out of here!" Shaggy says as him and Scooby turn around to go home a different way

Before they could get very far, two bullies rode by on skateboards, shoved the two to the ground, grabbed the pillowcase of candy, then tossed it into the open window of The Rigby House, al without saying a singe word as they rode off into the distance.

Scooby whimpers and rests his head on Shaggy's lap and Shaggy sighs while gently patting his canine friend's head.

"Are you guys alright?" they heard a male sounding voice say after hearing a bike park

Shaggy and Scooby look up to see a blonde kid wearing armor as a costume, a girl wearing what appeared to be a legal judge costume who had on glasses, and a orange haired girl wearing a Wonder Woman costume.

"Yeah, they just hurt my pride." Shaggy says, trying to get up. "And my tail feathers."

"Let me give you a hand." The blonde boy in armor says, holding out a hand to help Shaggy up

Shaggy grabs the boy's hand and is pulled back to his feet.

"By the way, i'm Fred." Fred, the kid in the armor introduced before pointing at the girl in the legal judge costume. "This is Velma."

"Hi." Velma greets

"And that's Daphne." Fred added pointing to the girl in the Wonder Woman costume

"Hey." Daphne greeted with a wave

"I'm Shaggy.." Shaggy introduced before pointing to Scooby. "And this is Scooby-Doo."

"RNice to meet you." Scooby said, looking at the kids who had just shown up

Daphne kneeled down and held out hand to Scooby. Scooby ran up and licked her face a few times, making her laugh.

"Cool Wonder Woman costume." Shaggy commented

"Thanks." Daphne responds

Shaggy then looked over at Velma and asked, "Are you...Harry Potter or that one Supreme Court Justice judge?"

"I'm Ruth-Bader Ginsburg." Velma said, spinning her mini gavel in her hand. "Obviously"

"Huh. Figured that was the more likely choice." Shaggy stated

"Come on, let's go get your candy back." Fred said

"Like, why do we have to go in there?!" Shaggy said, pointing at the house. "That place has a ghost problem!"

"Ghost or no ghost, it's Halloween. Nobody should go home without their candy." Daphne said as they all slowly walked towards the broken house

"O-O-Okay." Shaggy replied with a stutter

Scooby and Shaggy were shaking the whole time they walked towards the house.

"We'll go in a haunted house this one time. But we're not gonna make a habit out of this." Shaggy said. "Right, Scoob?"

"Right." Scooby replied

Fred slowly knocked on the door. Nothing happened. When he went to knock on the door again, it opened on his own.

"Hello?" Fred called out into the house, expecting an answer

As they all walked into the house, Daphne had one thing to say.

"This living room feels more like a dieing room." Daphne says, creeped out by the look of the living room.

After walking a little ways into the house, Fred looked down, picked up the pillowcase of candy, then turned back to Shaggy.

"Here you go, Shaggy." Fred said as he tossed the pillowcase back to Shaggy

Shaggy caught the pillowcase full of candy and said in a rush. "Great. thanks a bunch, let's go!"

"It's the ghost!" Shaggy and Scooby yelled

"Guys. There's no such thing as ghosts." Velma said as she handed her gavel to Daphne

Daphne pulled out her phone and turned on her phone's flashlight. While looking around the house, a slight beam of light came from the wardrobe that was there but it vanished instantly and the wardrobe closed once the light from the flashlight went over it.

"Hmm..." Velma said, slowly walking towards the wardrobe

"Uh, girl dressed like Judge Judy, I don't think this is a good idea." Shaggy said, not wanting the wardrobe to be opened for fear of what might happen

However, that didn't stop Velma's curiosity. She stepped right up to the wardrobe, grabbed the knobs, and swung it open. But all that was in it was, unsurprisingly, just a bunch of coats. This made Velma a little dissapointed.

When the others walked over, Velma pulled the coats to the side and out of the darkness of the wardrobe, leapt a ghost but before it could get out, the five slammed the wardrobe shut.

"The ghost!" Shaggy and Scooby yelled

"Go get help!" Fred said in an almost ordered manner as him Shaggy, and Scooby held the wardrobe shut

Velma and Daphne ran for the front door but it slammed shut. They went for a door to a room connected to the living room but it shut as well. They then got the crazy thought to try to get out through the window but that thought was gotten rid of as well when the window slammed shut as well.

Just then, the wardrobe was forced open with the force of a battering ram knocking Fred, Shaggy, and Scooby to the floor. When they all looked at the wardrobe, on top of it was a ghost only known to the public as The Rigby Phantom.

The Rigby Phantom then lunged at the boys but they all dove in different directions. The ghost was then on the wall above the door and roared after spotting Velma and Daphne trying to open the door.

"Guys, we gotta do something!" Fred says after he got up

Once Fred went to go help Velma and Daphne, Shaggy and Scooby ran into the wardrobe and brought their bag of candy into the wardrobe with them and hid, watching he chaos from in the wardrobe.

Fred, Velma, and Daphne were mostly up the stairs but before Daphne could get past the halfway point, the ghost fell down, blocking his path.

"Whoa!" Daphne exclaimed before going to run to a separate spot of the house

"Run, Daphne! Run!" Velma called out

As the ghost chased Daphne around the first floor of the house, Fred and Velma were watching to look for a possible way to help Daphne. It was at this moment that Velma noticed a rope that moved every time the ghost moved.

"Fred, look!" Velma said and pointing at the rope

Once Fred saw the rope, he ran over to a couple of mounted axes, grabbed one, ran back over to the railing and threw the axe right at the rope. Once the rope was cut, the ghost had cornered Daphne until it noticed the rope was cut.

"Uh oh..." The ghost said right before falling to the floor

Velma came down the stairs and Daphne grabbed her rope and tossed one end to Velma as the two started running around the ghost to tie him up.

"Hey! What are you-" The ghost started

Before the ghost could finish however, the rope was fully around him and tight. That's when Fred hopped over the railing and charged at the ghost, tackling him.

"Gotcha!" Fred said as Daphne and Velma both jumped onto the ghost to help pin him down

"Jeepers!" Daphne exclaimed, noticing the ghost's face was nothing more than a Halloween mask. "It's a Halloween mask."

Daphne reached up and pulled off the ghost's mask revealing...

"Mr. Rigby?!" The three said in confusion

Mr. Rigby groaned as a light came from the direction of the wardrobe. Once they looked over, they saw Shaggy and Scooby poking their heads out from behind the coats.

"Uh, guys." Shaggy started as him and Scooby shoved the jackets out of the way, revealing a hidden room with a bunch of stolen items in it ranging from appliances to computers to valuable books. "I think we just found the world's smallest Wal-Mart."

Later, after some cops arrived, a female cop was taking pictures of all the stolen stuff along with a male cop.

"Man, this guy stole a LOT of stuff." The male cop said

"Bag it all up, Frank, he's going away for a loong time." The female cop replied

Back in the living room, a rookie Tom Wachowski had untied Mr. Rigby and handcuffed him and was walking the theif out to a car. Once forced into the back of the car, Mr. Rigby looked over at Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby before snarling a little.

"I would have gotten away with this, if it wasn't for those meddling-" Mr. Rigby started before Tom slammed the car door in his face. "Ough!"

Tom looeked over at the kids with a smile and simply said, "Thank you." before getting in the driver's seat of his car and driving off right after the other cops had driven off as well.

Fred whistled as he turned back to the other four.

"Congratulations, everyone." Velma says. "We just proved this house wasn't haunted and busted a perp."

"And even better, we got our candy back." Shaggy said as he held up his pillow case of candy

"Noy bad for a bunch of kids." Daphne says

"Maybe we should do this again." Fred responds

"I like it." Velma stated

"I'm in." Daphne responds

Fred then looked over at Shaggy and Scooby ad asked, "What do you say, guys?"

After some silent debating, they made their decision and both said, "We're in."

"I mean, like, how many scary monsters can there be?" Shaggy asked in a sarcastic way

At the mere mention of the word monster, Scooby went wide eyed as his ears perked up.
