37- Passion

Early Spring

Pan panted as her body shook. Her legs squeezed around Trunks' hips tightly. His lips were on her neck, making her dizzy, and his hand was in between them, making her crazy. He knew exactly how to touch her to get her to her high. She felt it when he reached his just a few moments later.

Her shaky legs began to unravel around him. Trunks grabbed one of her thighs and kept it on his waist as he laid down on his side. He adjusted them, so her head was laying on his arm. His hands traced up her bare sides, causing goosebumps to rise on her skin as they caught their breath.

Pan moved her head towards his as her hands swept across his chest. She could still feel his heart beating as crazy as hers was. They kissed slowly, their bodies still molded together and pressed against one another. Pan could never be as close to him as she wanted.

They pulled away slowly, and Trunks caressed her cheeks. "You have to listen to Grandpa while I'm away," he told her.

Pan pouted. He would be leaving tomorrow for his raid, and they had been told that he probably wouldn't be back until early Summer. Endou and Goten would be going with him as well, and Pan felt relieved that they would be all together. She knew they were strong. Still, she worried about the three of them.

"I always listen to your grandpa," she told Trunks.

Trunks squeezed her cheeks and made her lips pooch out. He chuckled as he kissed them before letting her cheeks go. "He told you to take it easy, but you were nearly chasing Goten down the halls the other day," Trunks said.

Pan let out a loud huff. "Goten stole my bacon," she muttered. She had been saving that bacon for last because it looked the best, but when she went to eat it, it was gone!

Trunks chuckled and rubbed his nose against hers. "My little pregnant mate. The baby makes you so angry when it comes to food. A true Saiyan, it seems."

His hand roamed to her stomach, and he laid it flat against it. Pan knew it was her imagination, but every time Trunks touched her stomach, it was like a small flutter went off inside of her. He stroked her belly with his thumb as he sighed softly.

"I'm going to miss checking on the baby," he sighed. "I'm going to miss you so much," he murmured against her chin.

Pan raised her hand and caressed his face with her fingertips. Ever since she had found out what that meant, she did it to him often. Trunks smiled and did it back to her.

"I promise that the baby and I will stay healthy and strong," Pan told him softly. "We will be eagerly waiting for your return, so you have to promise to be careful and come back to us."

"Always," he promised. "I will always come back to you."

Late Spring

Pan sighed as she walked down the castle hallways slowly. It had been weeks since Trunks had beef fingers. Some days were easier to handle than others, but today, she really missed Trunks. She missed his blue eyes and the way he smirked. She missed the way he touched her, kissed her, and even the way he smelled. She had cried countless times that day already because she had thought of him too much.

A distraction is what Pan needed. Bulla was out shopping. It was how she coped with missing Goten. She had invited Pan to go with her, but she was too tired to walk around all day. Bulma was busy in her lab, and Pan had been warned by Trunks before he left to not go in there for her and the baby's safety. Gohan and Marron were on the earth, and Pan was tempted to visit them, but she had been noticing the way the two of them caught each other's eyes. So she was letting them have a little alone time, and hoping one of them would make a move soon.

Pan stopped at a familiar guest room and knocked on it before she opened the door. "Mama!" She smiled when she saw Chi-Chi was in. She went back and forth between the earth and Vegeta-Sei several times a week.

Pan never went a few days without seeing her, but today since she was feeling extra emotional, she felt like a little kid again who needed their mother's comfort.

"Oh, Panny," Chi-Chi gasped as Pan fell onto the couch beside her. She sat down the sowing she was doing so she could wrap her arms around Pan, who was leaning against her. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" She asked.

Pan let out a heavy sigh. "I'm just missing Trunks a lot today," she mumbled. "And I'm so emotional."

Chi-Chi rubbed Pan's arm soothingly. "Growing a baby inside of you can make anyone quite emotional," she said gently. "And he had been away for several weeks. It's understandable that you miss him."

Pan felt her eyes growing hot with tears. She felt guilty for crying over Trunks in front of her mother. Trunks would be coming back to her, but her mother had lost her father in a way that he would never return.

"Mama," Pan sniffed and wiped her eyes as she leaned back. "How do you do it?"

She didn't need to elaborate on what she meant because Chi-Chi let out a small sigh. "Some days are better than others," she said gently. "I guess I should say, there are days where I can distract myself better than others. The ache never goes away, and I sometimes still catch myself thinking he's alive. That he's just away, and he'll be back soon," her voice grew distant.

"I wish I could remember him more," Pan said. She knew his face, but she wasn't sure if she remembered it or if it was from portraits she had seen growing up. Pan did know that she could remember his carefree smile and his contagious laugh, and how he always used to pick her up and carry her.

"Oh, he loved you so much, Panny," Chi-Chi smiled. "Of course, he loved all of you so very much, but you-" she laughed softly. "You were his little girl, and he loved to spoil you. That clearing that you love so much on earth, he used to take you and the boys there, and you would fish. You never would put your own worm on the fishing pole," she chuckled at a memory. "So, your Papa always had to do it for you."

Pan felt her lips twitching. Her mind was feeling lighter now. "Do you feel closer to him here?" She asked gently.

"I do," Chi-Chi sighed gently. She leaned back and closed her eyes. "It's like I can almost hear him here. 'I'm coming,' he says," she opened her eyes slowly with a sad look and let out a heavy sigh. "If only if were real."

Vegeta stretched as he walked out of his office. He had been looking over some paperwork for too many damn hours, and now he was tense. He needed to find Radtiz and have a good spare.

Turning a corner, Vegeta saw Pan walking ahead. Her back was to him, so she didn't see him, and he started to quicken his pace. All three of Kakarot's children reminded Vegeta of him. The boys had his looks, and Pan had his eyes. Out of all of them, Goten seemed to have inherited his personality the most, but all three of them were strong.

Another person turned into the hallway, and Vegeta's eyes widened with a cringe. He ducked into a hallway and peeked around. What the hell was Eighteen doing there?

"Girl!" Eighteen snapped at Pan.

Pan let out a loud huff, and Vegeta's eyes widened. She had been rather grumpy the last few weeks, and everyone had been working hard to please her. He wasn't afraid of her blowing up like she had on earth that day, but they wanted to keep her happy for the baby. Still, it was hard to do when the only thing Pan was wanting was on another planet on a raid.

"What?" Pan snapped right back.

Eighteen's eyes widened in shock. "Excuse you?" She placed her hands on her hips. "Do you know who I am?!" She demanded.

"No," Pan answered loudly. "And frankly, I don't care! What do you want?"

Eighteen looked taken back, and Vegeta couldn't help his snickers of amusement. Maybe a grumpy Pan wasn't so bad.

"Where is the King?" Eighteen gritted out. "I'd like to talk to him and mention that he has servants with a serious lack of respect! I hope you know you'll be punished!"

"Listen, lady-" Pan squared her shoulders and crossed her arms. "I'm no servant here. I'm the damn Princess! If you want to find the king, go find him yourself."

"The- The Princess?" Eighteen gasped.

Vegeta saw the way her eyes narrowed, and he knew it was time to intervene. He wouldn't have minded if Pan blew up, but he didn't want to risk Eighteen harming her or the baby.

"Pan," Vegeta said as he walked out and over to her. "There you are. I've been looking for you."

"This-" Eighteen hissed. "This is who he married?"

"Yes," Vegeta nodded simply. "As you can see, we're quite busy. Come again another day when you have an appointment," he said. He grabbed Pan's elbow before leading her away.

"Jeez, are all your guests as grumpy as you?" Pan muttered as she glanced at Vegeta.

Vegeta didn't dare mention who his guest actually was. He was afraid that if he told Pan that was Eighteen, sister of Seventeen who almost made her miscarry, then she would really blow up.

"You know, most people would say that you're the grumpy one between the two of us at the moment."

"That's because of your son," Pan's eyebrows furrowed as she glared down the hallway with a pout.

"Ah, yes, he does tend to have that effect on people," Vegeta agreed. "But want to hear some good news?"

"What?" She mumbled.

"I got a report today from his ship. They're headed home and will be back within two weeks."

Pan's furrowed brows and pout disappeared instantly. It was almost as if Vegeta was seeing another woman. Her eyes were big and sparkling almost. Her grin was wide. "Really?!" She nearly cried. "Is he really?"

"Yes," he nodded.

Pan let out a loud breath and clutched her chest with a warm smile. "I can't wait."

Early Summer

Pan's eyes shot open, and she sat up in her and Trunks' bed quickly. She had been taking a small nap to pass the time, but something had woken her up. She could feel him! He was back.

She stumbled out of bed as carefully as she could. Her feet were bare, but she didn't care as she rushed across the room and to the door. She didn't slow down until she turned a corner and saw him. His hair was sticking up in every direction, and he looked tired. As soon as he saw her, he grinned and took off to her.

Trunks reached her first and swooped her instantly. Pan was clutching him in relief as she hugged him tightly and cried. In a matter of seconds, Trunks had them in their room and her back against the door. Pan was kissing him before he even had time to speak. Although she was curious about how his raid had gone, she knew that this was what they both needed at the moment. She would ask questions later; for now, she was going to show him just how much she missed him.

Pan trembled as she caught her breath. Her hands rested on Trunks' pounding chest as he panted and looked up at her with a grin. The whole room was hot, and Pan still wanted to be closer to Trunks.

She got off him and fell beside him on the bed. Trunks' lips found her forehead, and she smiled.

"How was the raid?" She asked him softly.

Trunks made a face. "Awful," he muttered. "The creatures that lived on that planet had such high-pitched screams-" he cringed. "My ears are still ringing."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Pan gasped as she gently traced his ear. "I would have been quiet."

Trunks snorted, and Pan pouted as she leaned back. "What?" She mumbled.

"Can you be quiet?" He challenged as he raised an eyebrow. "Remember that one time when we were on earth and ended up in the closet, and a maid heard you? You were supposed to be quiet then."

Pan felt her whole body growing hot. "I can try," she said.

Trunks chuckled and shook his head as he leaned up. "I like all your little sounds," he said as he kissed her cheek.

His kisses traced down her neck, and Pan felt herself shivering. He went down to her chest and breasts, and Pan could feel the rumble inside of his chest. He hadn't stopped his purr since he had picked her up.

"You've gotten a little bit bigger," Trunks said as he peppered kisses on Pan's stomach.

"Have I?" She raised an eyebrow. She hadn't noticed any changes.

"You have," he nodded with a small smile. "Our baby is hibernating well, it seems." He crawled back up, so he was eye level with her, and his smile widened.

"I've decided- no more raids for you while I'm pregnant," Pan said. "Apparently, I get too emotional and grumpy."

Trunks leaned up on his elbow and smirked at her. "You got grumpy?" He chuckled.

Pan pouted. "I did! And it was because I missed you."

He leaned down and pecked her lips quickly. "I missed you too."

"Trunks, I have a confession to make," she whispered.

He furrowed his brows slightly. "What?"

Pan swallowed hard. "For the last several weeks, I've been having these strange dreams. I didn't overthink them at first, but soon I started to think that maybe it was like other dreams I've had. Maybe these dreams are telling me something."

"What is it, Panna?" He asked quietly.

"I think my father is still alive," she said. "And he's on Frieza's ship."

"I promise to honor you and cherish you the only way I know how. With paralyzing sex and Shakespearean love."
