(I still very strongly suggest moving to spacebattles for my story, I can post links and add pictures there where here I can't, and the layout is just much better overall. Just type in my fanfic with spacebattles behind it and it should pull up.

Chapter 2

I was by no means antisocial or cripplingly awkward, but being somewhat introverted and a massive weeb meant never really having much experience with women. That said, having an exotic demihuman anime girl with unreal beauty gazing into my very soul was a little stressful to say the least. Her almost-but-not-quite human appearance triggered extreme uncanny valley vibes. Even if she appeared as a drawing, seeing the very real cat parts of her physique was surreal and freaky. It was almost like someone took a catgirl cosplay too far and murdered one for real animal parts.

"H-hey." I stuttered dumbly, averting my eyes from hers. "Don't worry, I'm….I'm not here to rob you, just wanted to make sure you weren't a bandit."

"No worries, no brigand would ever travel out this far in the woods." The cat-girl stated absent mindedly as she sat up from the log. "Care to join me? You're quite the attractive man and I've been desperately aching for some company."

When she said the word company I felt a strange wave of rosy energy wash over me, like a drop in air pressure. A warm fuzzy feeling hijacked my heart, making it flutter and my face to feel hot. The effect it had on me was definitely not normal and was honestly very unsettling.

"Oh, I don't know, I...shouldn't be staying too long or intruding on your meal." My instincts were screaming 'Danger! Danger!' commanding me to get the hell out of there, but the universe decided to shit on my head as my stomach immediately let out a noisy groan.

"Looks like your words and body are a bit conflicted, hm?" she teased, covering her mouth to let out a small giggle. "You may as well stay and eat, the nearest village is over two hundred miles from here. That's not even considering the...less civilized monsterkind that prowl at night."

I weighed what options I had, if you could even call them options. Essentially, none of them were that great. I couldn't be sure whether the nearest village being that far was a complete lie or the truth, but I'd take her word on the aggressive Mamono lurking in the night judging from the eerily human wolf howls in the distance. So it was a choice between being possibly raped here with a guarantee of food or possibly raped in the wilderness with a near guarantee of starvation. Neither option I was too thrilled about, but the former was at least a little preferable to the latter.

I sighed and sat down on the log next to her, putting a sizable gap of space between us. The catgirl's ears twitched as she gave me a half lidded stare. "May I ask your name? I'm Aoi Tsutsumi."

"Yeah, I'm Murnax, it's nice to meetcha." This was only my online alias and not my real name, but If you've been dropped in another realm might as well use a cool fantasy title right?

"What brings you all the way out in the heart of Flemstall? Your attire and skin complexion are very uncommon in these parts." In a situation like this, it was best to try and keep her interest in me to an absolute minimum.

"Oh you know, just a random traveler looking to see the world and stuff." I said absentmindedly while yawning and stretching. Damn I'm tired. "I was looking for a-"

Tsutsumi seemingly teleported silently next to me in the the two seconds my guard was down, already too close for comfort. Her paw rested on my lap as she listened intently.

"Mhm, really now?" A seductive voice whispered sweetly in my ear, her claw tracing a circle around my thigh. I felt a tail gingerly wrap around my leg while the other swished back and forth against my shoulder, the soft caress causing my heart to briefly go into panic mode. "Well, I'm glad you stumbled upon me then, I would be delighted to help you in any way I can."

"Th-Thank you, I'll keep that in mind." I tripped over my words as I felt blood rush to my cheeks and ears. Her honeyed words were laced with double meanings, the first comment basically calling me out on my bullshit while the second being an invitation disguised as politeness.

Needless to say this girl was clever, she could see through my lies like glass and proved that I shouldn't take her lightly. I guess it should be expected from a Mamono of the cat family.

She slipped away and grabbed a pair of bowls, handing me one before scooping the creamy mixture from the pot into hers. "It's my mother's recipe, and my ultimate guilty pleasure whenever I'm feeling nostalgic." she reminisced, smiling wistfully at her serving.

"I feel you super hard on that, my Mom grew up in a restaurant so absolutely nothing beats her ramen." I said while scooping a bowl for myself. The soup made me hesitate, subtly picking at its contents for anything suspicious.

"Something wrong?"

"N-not at all!"

"If you're concerned about any demon realm produce, I assure you I added none to it. My stock ran out long ago after all."

"Uh, okay…." I hesitantly brought the spoon to my mouth and took the first sip. The second it touched my lips I was immediately blown away by the quality, the texture was like liquid velvet, a divinely fatty and creamy taste. Chunks of roasted potatoes and leeks provided a nice crunch to the chowdery flavor, a plentiful shake of pepper for spice and aroma. There was some kind of blue veined vegetable I couldn't identify, adding a hearty deep flavor with a texture almost like pressure cooked beef.

"This is absolutely amazing! It's easily up there with my mom's chowder!" I stated in genuine awe and respect regarding her cooking skills.

"Oh please, it's not even my recipe to begin with." Tsutsumi humbly tried to downplay herself, closing her eyes and cupping her face with both hands. "Wait, did you say Ramen earlier?"

"Yeah, what of it?"

"Are you by any chance from Zipangu or the Mist Continent?" The catgirl asked with anticipation in her voice. "Very few non-natives know of that dish, and you bear sakura trees on your clothes."

She would know if I was lying so I couldn't just thoughtlessly say yes to that cover story, thus I opted to tell her the truth, or at least part of it for her hospitality. Plus, lying to her now would make me feel like a first rate dick.

"Neither, though I am from a country that takes some inspiration from both."

Tsutsumi leaned forward with stars in her eyes. "Really? What's the name of your country?"

"It's called America, or the United states. While it's a fairly big country you've probably never heard of it."

"So an exotic man from an exotic country is traveling around the Order continent, hm? I might have to visit this 'America' if I can." Purred the Feline.

Yeahh, good luck finding it.

My fellow traveler paw-swatted the flies off her bowl. "I've actually been traveling with the goal of Zipangu in mind, both my parents are waiting for me there." Now that I think of it, Tsutsumi was a distinctly Japanese name, and she was a Nekomata instead of the standard Werecat due to the dual tails. Zipangu was the pseudo-Japan in the MGE canon, so it only made sense.

"Well, good luck on your travels. Thank you for the soup as well, it was incredible." I said as I finished the last bit. I noticed her give my bowl a weird look, eyes switching between the empty dish and myself.

Shit, was it actually spiked?

I started to grab my things before being cut short by the feline. "Wait, you're not going to stay the night?"

I shook my head. "As generous as you've been, I can't afford to stay here. I have to get out of Flemstall as soon as possible." While I was ready to drop from exhaustion, sleeping with a temptress harboring lewd motives was essentially giving fate the middle finger.

"I'm afraid that wouldn't end well, those werewolves will claim you before you can even regret it."

Cue another worrying howl in the distance.

After some internal debating I resigned and took her up on her offer. "Okay, you make a fair point. I guess I'll stay just for a night." The second those words left my mouth I noticed her amber eyes give a sparkle of anticipation and her lips curl into a smug cat grin. The little w on her mouth vanished as fast as it'd appeared, her expert poker smile returning. "Well I'm glad you've made the right choice to stay. Shall we get ready?" Seeing that brief falter of facade almost made me change my mind, she was definitely gonna try something.

"Yeah, you have no idea how exhausted I am from walking all day, my feet are killing me." I desperately needed some shoes lest I start developing trench foot or some other kind of nasty foot disease."I'll just get my blankets out and sleep against a tree or something." I began taking off my backpack and unzipping it when the feline covered her mouth and let out a small giggle.

"Oh no no no, you'll be sleeping in the tent with me."

"...What?"

"You heard me. It's your only form of protection against other monsters, and I refuse to let my guest sleep bare against the elements."

"Uh...how does sleeping in a tent make any difference from sleeping outside protection wise?" I implored, trying to keep the condescending tone out of my voice.

"My tent has a special enchantment designed to keep foreign entities out, it would take a considerable spell caster or sheer force of will to break it." That was an awfully convenient excuse for me to sleep in the same space as her, I wasn't buying it.

"Sorry that I'm being kind of rude, but could you prove it to me?"

Tsutsumi without a word reached down and rustled around one of her bags before pulling out a glinting object. I didn't realize what it was until she expertly flicked her wrist, sending the shuriken flying towards her tent. On contact a rainbow-like mist materialized and easily deflected the star like a pebble.

The Zipangu-native turned to me with that same w grin. "Is that proof enough for you?" I just stared at the dematerializing barrier in blank shock.

"Y-, yeah."

"Let's turn in for the night then, you don't look like the type of person who can carry all that weight." Tsutsumi said, gesturing to my supplies. Admittedly she was a hundred percent correct, having a body which rivaled Gollum in scrawniness and a case of slight asthma meant I wasn't exactly the strongest or most durable person. Still, having a girl basically tell me I was weak still stung a bit.

"Well I can't deny that." I said in a warm tone. After cleaning up the pot and putting out the campfire, we lit an andon lantern and walked to the tent ready for some well deserved rest.

Except I wasn't going to be resting. Just because this girl showed me some hospitality and told me about her life a bit doesn't mean I'd trust her for even a second. She was still a monstergirl with clear interest in me, and while getting ravished by and married to a beautiful cat waifu sounded like a weeb's dream come true, I had a life to get back to. Nearly through senior year, preparing to go to college, all that boring adult shit. I smiled sadly, lamenting on how I had to get transported to a literal hentai setting for a girl to show interest in me.

Tsutsumi came upon the tent's opening and tapped the barrier with her claw. "The trick to entering is a special phrase acting as a key. Shitsurei Shimas." she said in a cute chirpy manner as her dialect changed to Japanese, or I guess Zipanguese. The barrier faded out of existence with a deep 'wompwompwomp', leaving the tent free to enter.

"Could you pass the lantern?" Tsutsumi asked as she reached her hand out. I gave it to her and she hooked it to the top of the tent, providing light to the interior. The inside was very ornately decorated, the walls of the tent housing artwork reminiscent of famous Ukio-e paintings. I even recognized some among the ocean waves as a Kappa and Yuki Onna.

"I usually change into jinbei clothes before bed, and I happen to have an extra set. Would you care to wear it?" Tsutsumi asked.

"Thank you, but I'm fine. I'm more than comfy with my current clothes." It was true, I loved hoodies and sweatpants more than anything.

"Oh, but at least feel them! They use silk directly woven from Jorōgumo." She held one out for me to feel. Eh, whatever. I doubt anything from a medieval setting could match the comfort of modern clothe-

Holy shit.

It was as if you were feeling the true meaning of smoothness. It's softness put any cat or fur coat I've felt to shame, the literal embodiment of a physical touch addiction. I didn't realize my hand was aggressively groping the fabric until she subtly cleared her throat. Looking up at her, my face turned beet red at my display of idiocy. "S-sorry, I just didn't expect it to-"

"Be so soft?"

"Yeah."

"Don't worry, most people do that on their first time feeling arachne silk. I just wanted to watch your reaction to it." There was that coy w grin again with an innocent snicker. It felt more enticing and exotic each time she donned it….No! Don't fall for it! She's literally built to be irresistible!

"Buuuut," Tsutsumi started. "if you want to crave something even softer…."

She leaned in right next to my ear and lasciviously whispered: "My fur's an excellent alternative." one of her tails lightly flicked against my neck proving her claim to be true.

"Ahaha...yep. Your fur sure is soft." I awkwardly blustered as my face turned even redder than last time. Damn, she was getting more tempting by the second. Would I be able to last laying next to her all night? I might've underestimated how difficult this would actually be, and I thought I already gave it a pretty big estimate.

Licking her paws like a cat, Tsutsumi motioned towards the tent. "I shall let you change first then, in my home it was custom for the man to do things first."

"Okay then, Shitsurei Shimas." I announced as I took off my muddy socks and entered the tent. The floor was nice and padded, it felt exactly like those massive padding matts you'd take camping. Going to the top left corner I walked in and unzipped my hoodie.

I waited for her to leave…..

and waited…...

She wasn't leaving. I slowly craned my head to see Tsutsumi completely zoned out, staring intently downwards. Raising my eyebrow, I gave her a slightly odd look. "...Are you gonna go out?"

My question snapped the girl out of her daze and made her blink.

"Oh, um, yes. I apologize for my rudeness." Tsutsumi blushed and bowed before discreetly ducking out the tent. She briefly popped her head back in and flashed me another catty smile. "If you have any trouble putting it on, feel free to ask me for help." She giggled before zipping the tent shut. Taking off my turquoise hoodie, I gave a sigh of contempt.

She was totally staring at my ass….

Oh man, being wrapped in this stuff felt like the seventh layer of heaven. The softness of the fabric almost made me want to drop and start snoozing right there, but Tsutsumi still had to change. We switched places and I was now waiting outside looking the other way. There was no audible sound of the zipper closing, only the rustling of clothes.

Jeez, she really has the audacity to leave it wide open when I'm right here….

Any distraction from the lady changing behind me would really help calm my nerves right now. my balisong and guitar were still in the tent, so I walked to the side trying to get any indecent thoughts out of my head.

Bad idea. Now her shadow was in full view against the tree, pulling down her booty shorts followed by unhooking her top.

"So it is a piece of clothing….no!" eating those words and mentally slapping myself, I ran through the circle of fifths in my head until her voice called out.

"Okay, you can come in now." Entering the tent, what I saw almost made my jaw drop again. Tsutsumi absolutely rocked her jinbei, it hugged her perfect waist and flat stomach, leaving little to the imagination for her figure. It took all my power not to stare at the silhouette of her slender legs through the robes, her tails swaying lazily with vibrant strokes. "How do I look?" the catgirl asked as she twirled on a single foot.

"...Good." I said flatly while trying and failing not to gawk at her beauty. What was that, like the fourth dumbass answer I'd given now? Trying to fend off subtle advances from a bewitching cat waifu was not something I was ready for.

I set up my futon in the upper left corner, the exact opposite of where Tsutsumi was. Noticing my position, her cheeks puffed out in an adorable pout. "You don't have to be so distant yknow, I won't try anything weird."

Uhuh, tell that to the weird look you gave my bowl. "Oh, it's not that I think you'll try something," I lied. "I just don't wanna overstep your boundaries and stuff."

"Oh, quit being so modest!" The feline rolled her eyes, her chiding tone bearing an uncanny resemblance to my mother. "I understand your reasons for suspicion, but lying to my face like that is a little insulting."

"...Sorry, but I am still a little hesitant to sleep next to someone I barely met, hope you understand."

"Hmph, fine then!" she snorted, folding her arms and cat ears twitching irritably. "If you don't want the big scary cat lady sleeping close I'll oblige, but don't complain to me when your body's a popsicle in the morning!"

"Yeah yeah." I rolled my eyes as I got in my sleeping bag. "In all seriousness though, thank you for being so kind to me. I probably would've starved to death without you."

"Don't worry about it. I'm happy to help a fellow traveler out, especially one that's so easy on the eyes." she purred while looking me up and down. Jeez, her constant flirting was really getting to me. It was both extremely pleasing and suffocating.

"Oyasumi, Murnax." Tsutsumi said softly. "That means goodnight in Zipanguese." Even though I already knew the meaning, I didn't bother to correct her and simply responded the same.

"Oyasumi, Tsutsumi."

The candle light blew out as we both shifted in our sleeping bags, the moonlight giving the interior a pale glow. Pulling out my phone under the covers and sliding my headphones on, I scrolled through my numerous playlists debating what song to blast in my ears. No way in hell was I actually going to sleep, as kind as Tsutsumi was to me I was still paranoid of getting raped when my guard was down. Why didn't she attack immediately the moment she saw me? Even with a crossbow I was still a weak target who could easily be overpowered, not to mention all the times she could've jumped me when I wasn't expecting it.

Maybe cause she's not in heat right now? I asked myself. Even if that were the case, no Mamono would actively let a man out of their grasp so easily save a few exceptions. Nearly all of them were hellbent on snagging a husband using any range of methods from assault to brainwashing. Regardless, the important thing was Tsutsumi hasn't forced herself on me yet. No use in asking why.

There's a good one.

I tapped the song titled Sorry by Hala. The driving upbeat rhythm and repetitive cymbal crash would be more than enough to keep me awake. I can't deny it was a shitty half baked plan, but staying up all night and fleeing if Tsutsumi tried to jump me was the only option I could think of. Ghosting the middle of the night and wandering around was suicide, I'd take my chances with the catgirl over a pack of feral werewolves.

My shoulders tense and posture stiff, I clutched my blowgun in my hands like a koala in case the need arised for a baton. It would be tough, but I had to persevere. Hiking the whole day had sapped all my strength and gravity was already pulling at my eyelids. I wanted to go to sleep. To forget about my circumstances. To pretend that everything was alright. Just had to persevere. Just…..had to…...

I tried repeatedly in the darkish atmosphere to turn my body to the side, unable to shift my weight over. My consciousness was rudely awakened upon realizing some kind of mass was pinning me down.

What's that little light? They looked like two tiny dots of yellow, my blurry vision unable to focus on the image. Squinting revealed them to be the gleaming eyes of a predator. Eyes jerking wide open, I attempted to throw off whatever was resting on my stomach only for the force to double down.

"Woah there Mr. Jumpy, relax. I'm not gonna eat you." a pair of velvety paws pinned my wrists to the floor while the weight on my stomach shifted down to my thighs to immobilize my legs. "At least, not in the way you think." a smooth voice cooed. A soft but flexible noodle appendage set my glasses on my face, tickling my nose and straightening my vision.

There layed Tsutsumi, lying on top of me with the same look she had when we first met: hedonistic lust. The ever so slight dawn outlined her beautiful silhouette, large almond eyes glowing a bright yellow filled with lascivious intent.

"Ohaiyo-, Murrrnax." her silky voice purred as I finally understood the situation.

I fell asleep like an idiot.

And now Tsutsumi was going to rape me as the consequence.

Well, seems like my SI is fucked in a more literal than metaphorical sense. I re-edited it to make the word flow a lot better, and I think I did a solid job of fleshing out my two character's personalities. If you have any constructive criticism please tell me! I want to improve the quality of my story as much as I can.
