A/N Alright guys! I know nobody likes how the last chapter ended, which was expected. But hopefully you guys are sticking with it. Don't worry. Things will get better. Oh also, I realize that there are some time frame things that aren't gonna work well with music and stuff that might not have been released there, but I like the music, and the connection, so deal with it! Thank you! And I own nothing copy written! Alright, without further ado…

After the Competition

Chloe saw Beca and Jesse's lips meet and froze. She couldn't believe it. After all the time they had spent together. She started making her way over to them, unsure of how she was going to react, but willing to react all the same. As she approached them though, she saw Beca pull away and immediately slap Jesse across the face. "What the fuck?!"

Jesse looked stunned and Chloe's hopes rose once again. She got closer, definitely wanting to eavesdrop on the conversation that was about to happen. She received congratulations from one of the nearby Treblemakers and thanked him, nodding along to whatever he was telling her, but listening to Beca and Jesse.

Jesse's voice was strained and especially irritating. "What do you mean, Beca? We've been dancing around this all year! Us! You know that we have chemistry! What is the problem?!" Beca was shaking her head, her face red with anger this time instead of embarrassment.

"Are you serious, Jesse? I've told you so many times that I don't want to be with you like that!" Beca took a step away from him. "I want us to be friends, but that can't happen if you won't stop!" Jesse scoffed and took an aggressive step towards her. "But, that song. The Breakfast Club. You played our song!"

Beca kept backing away as he advanced and she gave him the most confused look. "I'm sorry, OUR song?! Do you hear how absolutely insane you sound right now? We've barely been on one date, if you can call that ambush picnic a date. Now suddenly we have a song?! Yeah, I watched the Breakfast Club because you told me. And I used that song as an apology to you. AS A FRIEND. But clearly that's a concept that you can't grasp!"

Jesse shook his head and started to raise his voice when suddenly Chloe decided it was time to step in. She quickly excused herself and went over there, a fake, upbeat smile plastered across her face. "Is everything okay over here? Oh good job by the way Jesse, Benji was amazing up there. Good choice."

Jesse could barely contain his fury at this point and Beca took that opportunity to grab Chloe's hand and start to drag her away. "Come on Chloe, it's time to get out of here and celebrate" Chloe gave Jesse an almost smug look as she was dragged away by the hot, angry mess muttering in front of her. "I need a drink."

Chloe and Beca met up with the rest of the girls and in lieu of hitting the town and potentially another jail stint for Beca, they decided to celebrate back at the hotel suite, with just the girls. Beca and Chloe sat wordlessly with each other on the bus, as Aubrey, Cynthia, and Lilly were already taking sips from the flask that Stacie had on the bus.

Once they got to the hotel, Aubrey and Chloe split off to go change, with plans to meet at the suite. The second the door closed behind them, Aubrey cornered Chloe. "Tell me exactly everything that happened between Jesse and Beca, right now."

Tipsy Aubrey was still a very bossy Aubrey, so Chloe shrugged a bit and started to undress. "Apparently, Jesse thought that they were more than they are, and Beca didn't really like that too much." Chloe couldn't hide her smile at that point as they changed into their pjs, the decided upon party attire. Aubrey was clad in one of her soft flannel nightgowns, and Chloe wore a pair of boxers with a white wife beater.

As they knocked on the door, Aubrey turned to Chloe and gave her a small smile. "Just so you know, I plan on really letting loose tonight. So much so that I'll probably end up passing out in the suite. So I won't be staying in our room tonight…" Chloe's mouth widened with the realization of what Aubrey was implying and then they were greeted by what seemed like a horde of half drunk, pajama clad girls. Beca was part of the happy group, obviously slightly inebriated.

Beca pulled Chloe into the room, where what Chloe assumed was Beca's laptop hooked up to a speaker that definitely seemed stolen from the auditorium. David Guetta's newest album was blasting through the room, and the girls were all dancing and drinking bottles that seemed to mysteriously have appeared from nowhere. Fat Amy shoved a bottle into Chloe's hand and she took a long swig before laughing.

All of the girls needed this, and every single one of them was into it. Chloe was talking to Jessica and Lilly as she drank, while Aubrey and Beca were dancing on Cynthia-Rose, who seemed to be loving it. Chloe's eyes met Beca's as the next song started playing. Chloe wasn't sure what it was exactly, but something about David Guetta's music gave her this inexplicable feeling of warmth, and she knew that she had expressed this to Beca.

Let's light it up, let's light it up, until our hearts catch fire. Beca's eyes flashed as she smiled at Chloe. Chloe bit her bottom lip and slowly started to walk around the party. She held Beca's eyes as she slid in between Stacie and Fat Amy. Stacie laughed and immediately grabbed Chloe's waist, pulling her to dance. Aubrey broke off of Cynthia and started dancing with Fat Amy.

Chloe's eyes hardly strayed from Beca's as they danced, and Beca was the same way. The booze was quick to go to Chloe's head and the pounding music made all thought impossible. It felt like a dream world as they continued to dance through the next song. I say why does it feel so good? So good to be bad.

Chloe slid and grabbed Aubrey's hand, pulling her away from Fat Amy and grinding up on her. Aubrey immediately got into it, scooting her backside up against Chloe. Chloe was so glad Aubrey was letting loose. It was about time the girl had a good time, she was always wound up so tightly. Stacie stole Cynthia from Beca, so Beca grabbed Jessica and pulled her into the dancing. When the sun goes down, and your eyes cannot see.

Chloe made her way closer to Beca, never losing her gaze. Beca couldn't contain her smile at this point, dancing closely with Jessica. Their hips moved together as the music pounded, resonating throughout the room. Finally, just as the song was ending, Chloe reached Beca and took Jessica's place. When the sun goes down, I see you around.

Beca gasped with surprise when she saw Chloe appear in front of her and felt Chloe's hands on her waist, it was instinctual. Chloe giggled softly in Beca's ear as the next song played, spinning her around to slide behind her. You take me down, spin me around, you got me running all the lights. Beca was intoxicated by the presence of Chloe, and probably some of the booze.

Chloe's arm slid around Beca's body, resting at her midriff. Beca couldn't help but press her body flush against Chloe's, grinding deep into her. It's dangerous, so dangerous. I wanna do it again. Thoughts and images flooded Chloe's mind as she felt Beca's skin against hers. Most were from their night of passion, some were from her equally passionate dreams. She grabbed Beca's hand and dragged her to the nearest bathroom

After she shut the door, Beca immediately pressed her against it and kissed her hungrily, pinning her against the door. Chloe responded with the same amount of heat, quickly wrapping her arms around Beca's body and sliding her fingers up her shirt to touch her bare skin. Beca released a small moan into Chloe's mouth and Chloe nipped Beca's lower lip before pulling away. "Aubrey gave us the room…"

Beca immediately opened the bathroom door and pushed her out. "You start left, I start right, then we're out of here" Chloe nodded and went left, saying goodnight to all of the Bella's before slipping out. Most of them were too drunk to even notice, and Fat Amy shared a quick look with Aubrey, before Beca and Chloe slipped out. They ran down the hotel hall, giddily laughing and stopping for quick kisses in doorways. Finally, they reached the hotel room and Chloe unlocked the door. Beca pushed her inside, and it was clear that the tables were turned this time. Beca was the one in charge, and Chloe liked it.
