Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Sovereign of Souls Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Gunvolt, Inti Creates and a few others do.
Lucas continued to fly up the platforms once more. He was quite curious about his own thoughts at the moment.
His own head was spinning when it came down to it. He sighed and rubbed at his temples while looking to the side.
"This hurts too much to just forget it." Lucas stated while cracking his fingers. "Blast it, where is she?" Lucas questioned and sighed before he looked to the side.
He knew for a fact that this would be hard to deal with when it ended. Elise would make sure that he was never going to hear the end of it. She knew that she had an effect on him.
Lucas brought a hand to his temples. He sighed as he spread his wings while continuing to look around.
"Elise…" Lucas stated which was greeted by cackling. "I know your spying on me." Lucas stated as he hummed and crossed his arms.
"Oh, do you now?" Elise asked as she started to climb down from another platform towards him. "Tell me, can you read what happened to all the data? All the stuff we've been looking for?" Elise asked with a purr as she turned and started to look to the side.
She reached out with her hair which caused him to look to the side. He feels weird, this felt odd which caused him to back away for a moment.
"Don't…." Lucas said as he turned back to the side while he closed his eyes.
"You're not leaving…" Elise pointed out which caused Lucas to look him in the eye. "So, I'm going to assume that you don't care when it comes down to it." Elise stated as Lucas glared at her.
"You still have to answer for all the destruction you brought into this place." Lucas stated while crossing his arms. "You act "Like this is a game, like you don't care. But part of you does. Part of you wants to know how this is going to end." Lucas stated while leaning on the wall behind him.
"And you're interested in me." Elise stated while starting to climb around the poles. "Please tell me. If I'm so bad? Then why do you think I can be saved? I destroyed this entire base… And yet you think that I can be redeemed when it comes down to it." Elise stated which caused him to shake his head to the side.
"Are you seriously considering…" Lucas asked before Elise started to crawl up into the other platforms. "Elise!" Lucas yelled as he followed after her once again.
This game of cat and mouse annoyed him when it came down to it. He was quite exhausted and tired. He couldn't believe anything that was going on. This was going to be a very long day.
"Oy…" Lucas said as his armor booted up when he sighed and hummed. "You're going to get me killed." Lucas added which caused him to shake his head back and forth.
Lucas flew up to another platform once more while trying to look around at Elise. He couldn't see anything at the moment.
"This game is coming to being annoying." Lucas pointed out while he brought his wings back in. "I feel like I'm chasing down a squirrel. A very troublesome squirrel." Lucas stated as he cracked his fingers once more.
He was curious. He couldn't see her. That worried him quite more than possible.
"Hmm…" Lucas added which caused him to shake his head his head to the side. "Elise, keep me on my toes as much as you want. I'll hunt you across this entire facility if that's what it takes to contain you." Lucas pointed out as he shook his armored head once more.
Elise giggled once more which caused him to glare around in frustration as he looked once more. Still? This game of cat and mouse was becoming annoying when it comes down to it.
"Ugh, you…." Lucas muttered to himself as he looked up at the ceiling.
"I can't believe that this is going to happen like this." Lucas stated while brushing off his armor once more. He was curious, it was continuing to make him question once more.
"Should I ask what we're going to do next?" Lucas stated while trying to look up at the sky.
"Do you constantly have to worry about things?" Elise questioned while climbing around the platform once more. "Because I'm starting to think you worry far too much…. About everything." Elise stated while trying to think of what was going to occur next.
This silence was annoying him once more when it happened. It just made him hesitant to trust once more.
"Ugh…" Lucas stated once more. "This is going to be a very long day when it comes down to it." Lucas added as he hummed and nodded once more.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out next chapter sadly won't be till October. Next chapter will be 900 words or such and will show more bonding and set up another fight or such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
