Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Sovereign of Souls Enjoy the 1000-word chapter. I don't own Gunvolt, Inti Creates and a few others do.
Elise looked at Lucas like a piece of meat, it made him feel uncomfortable. And knowing her? That was EXACTLY what she wanted when it came down to it.
"You know you keep looking like I got cooties…" Elise said, slowly stepping closer to him. "Are you scared of a little snake?~" Elise purred as she stood in front of the winged warrior.
She knew she had lost the battle, but she didn't care. Elise liked her toys, her entire body was eager for the hunt, for the win she desired. She wanted Lucas to bow to her, to be her king…. She didn't care about the rest of the Seven, by now? They were probably nothing but slain warriors.
She almost wondered what would happen if she raised them from the dead… She could take Sumeragi, their resources? Hers, this entire world was hers. They had wanted a weapon and they had gotten one, the only issue? The weapon wanted to be the master… And she could be, all she had to do was snip a few wings and crush what remained of the rest of the group.
"You're the lustful one here!" Lucas stated, turning his face from the girl at mind. "Stop messing with my head! I just cant believe it. You've killed so many scientists here and you don't care! I just!" Lucas hissed while growling in frustration.
"THEY EXPERIMENTED ON PEOPLE HERE!" Elise hissed, dancing around on the tips of her hair. "DON'T DEFEND THEM! THEY MADE ME INTO THIS! THEY HURT SO MANY PEOPLE!" Elise screeched before slowly settling back into her dizzy personality.
Lucas was left off-guard as he remembered that they did indeed experiment on the people here. He could not lay the full wait of their actives at Elise's feet. Still? She didn't seem to want to even show a little remorse for her actions, that was what chilled him to the bones the more he thought about it.
"Just because they were horrible doesn't excuse it…" Lucas weakly stated, not knowing how else to answer the question in his head.
He couldn't, there was nothing really. Elise had struck back at these people for her abuse… For them.
"You fought me like you wanted to kill me." Elise stated with a giggle which made him step back, wings flapping openly. "If you wanted to feel so bad? You wouldn't have fought me like that… So don't try that trick, it doesn't work like that!" Elise added as she gripped his shoulders.
Lucas stepped back, thousands of different thoughts slowly cutting into his head as he thought about what to do next. Elise giggled insanely as he looked around with a frown. He flapped his wings, quite curious as to what he should say, what he should even do at the moment.
Still? He would NOT allow Elise to get into his head. The woman would slowly but surely cut up his brain if he allowed her inside it the more, he thought about it.
"You will not control me, Elise… You will NEVER control me." Lucas added, rubbing at his temples in annoyance as he turned and flew up to another ledge. "You bring death, I bring life. You are the very anthesis of everything I stand for!" Lucas hissed, his hands glowing with energy as Elise climbed up after him.
"Don't act so modest when you were willing to try and fight me to the death." Elise purred, curling herself up inside her hair as she was lifted upside down. "You cant deny there's SOME part of you that enjoys battle… That enjoys war. You don't fight like some novice that's NEVER seen combat before." Elise added, unsettling Lucas more as she turned to look at him with an insane giggle which chilled him to the very bone.
"How much suffering have you seen?" Lucas asked, flapping his wings as he drew up his mask and such. "How many people have you seen hurt, or afraid? Because I've seen enough for a lifetime!" Lucas roared, glaring at Elise who drew several knives from her sleeves.
There was a flash of movement as she hurled them at Lucas only for the winged warrior to block them. His wings sent the blades flying into the wall as he looked at her with a flash of movement.
"You are MINE…." Elise hissed, causing Lucas to frown as he turned to look at her with a growl.
"I belong to no one and no one shall give me orders…" Lucas added, taking flight as he looked down at her. "You really want to do this fight again?" Lucas asked, an insane grin being his answer.
The duo circled each other as they prepared for another duel, one that would settle things at the moment. He knew more then anything she had to be stopped, before she did more damage to this place… To innocent people.
To him. Lucas drew up his wings and fired another blast from his guns, throwing the woman off the platform as he hummed and looked at her with a look between a glare and determination.
She cackled as purple energy ran over her body as she split into two different copies of herself. She drew more knives from herself and tossed them at Lucas who only turned and flew away.
She pursued him, eager for the kill as he turned to address the woman once more for good.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be delayed or such. Next chapter is in 2-10 months and will show another fight and more bonding between Lucas and Elise. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
P.S: Next chapter will be 1200 or so words hopefully and will hopefully be followed by longer stories sooner or later. Hopefully sooner rather then later.
