Chapter 1. It's all Fun and Games
14 years later. One year after the events of Frozen 2.
Anna is now 18, Elsa is 21 and Jack is 20. I'm also making Kristoff 18.
Elsa
"Ice cream." Elsa guessed. It had been a year since she became the fifth spirit and Elsa returned to the castle every Saturday for a game of charades. It was Anna's turn to act.
"Licking a pole!" Olaf, a living snowman Elsa created, shouted.
"A popsicle!" Anna's husband guessed.
Anna had met Kristoff a month after the death of King Agnarr and Queen Iduna. He had helped her find Elsa and they stayed together since. Elsa was happy that Anna had found someone who loved her the way she loved him. Kristoff supported Anna through tough times and always made her smile.
"Correct!" Anna said.
"Elsa, your turn!" Anna said.
Elsa got up and took a paper from the basket Kristoff's reindeer, Sven, was holding.
"Ok, here it goes." Elsa said. She had gotten better at the game and was more confident.
"Bird!" Anna guessed as Elsa stuck her arms out. Elsa shook her head and continued.
She twirled and acted like she was dancing. She pretended to push herself forward with her feet.
"Ice skating!" Olaf guessed.
"Correct!" Elsa said.
"My turn!" Kristoff said.
He pulled a piece of paper out and read it. He chuckled then he made ears with his hands and stuck them above his head.
"Bunny!" Elsa guessed.
"Correct!" Kristoff said.
"Ok I want a turn!" Olaf said. "Lightning round!"
He began to rearrange himself into different things. Everyone was able to guess what he did. Lastly, Olaf pretended to have long hair and was waving his arm like he was using magic.
"Elsa!" Anna burst out laughing. Elsa tried to give him an offended look but failed.
"Yep!" Olaf smiled. Everyone ended up laughing until they were crying.
"Why did we let Olaf write them?" Elsa asked through bursts of laughter.
"I don't know but I think we made the right choice," Anna giggled.
They continued playing until they had finished all the actions for that game. After, they all went to their rooms for the night, and the castle fell silent.
Jack
A snowball hit Jack's childhood friend in the back of the head. Jack nearly fell over laughing.
"JACK! Come back here!" Jamie called as Jack ran away. Jamie picked up a clump of snow and chased his friend.
"Not happening!" Jack called back. He flew up to perch on a tree branch above Jamie's head.
They had met when Jack had snuck out one evening before his father had set up guards outside the prince's room. After a lot of begging from Jack, and some help from his siblings who also had friends outside the castle, King North had allowed Jack to continue to play with Jamie and even allowed his family to move into the castle. Jamie's mother worked in the kitchen and Jamie's father worked as a blacksmith. His little sister was still too young to participate in the energetic games Jack and Jamie enjoyed.
"Why would you start a snowball fight if you won't let me hit back?" Jamie asked.
"Fine, I'll come down!" Jack said. He jumped down and Jamie shoved snow down his shirt.
"That was for the snowball to the back of the head!" Jamie said. Then he pushed Jack into a snowbank, "And that was for climbing up the tree."
Jack pulled himself out of the snowbank and shook the snow out of his shirt. The cold wasn't a problem for him but he didn't like the feeling of the wet fabric against his skin. He ducked as snowball flew at his face. Jack looked over to see Aster laughing.
"Bunny!" Jack called. When Jack was younger and just learning Aster's name, he pronounced it as Easter. When Jack grew older and learned about the holiday, he nicknamed his older brother Bunny after the bunny that left eggs for him. Jack also learned pretty quickly that Aster didn't love the nickname so he called Aster, Bunny, just to annoy him.
"Jackson Frost!" Aster shouted. Aster picked up another clump of snow and threw it at his younger brother. Jamie had also thrown another snowball at Jack at the same time. Jack ended up getting hit by both snowballs.
"I'll get you for that!" Jack laughed.
"No way!" Aster teased. He ducked and ran to one side. Jack threw snowball after snowball at his brother and Aster kept dodging them. Jamie ran around them throwing snow at Jack.
"Got you!" Jack cheered as a snowball hit Aster in the face.
"Jack duck!" Jamie called. A snowball flew over Jack's head and hit Aster. Aster threw a snowball at Jamie. Jack created snowballs for Jamie and they worked together to hit Aster with lots of snowballs.
Soon Jamie, Aster, and Jack were soaking wet. Aster and Jamie were starting to get cold so they went inside to sit by the fire. They joked and talked as they warmed up then had dinner with their families.
