Authors Note: In response to the NUMEROUS Anti Stark/North/Tyrion fanfics, the ones who pretty much worship everything to do with the Targaryen. Warning, this will likely be a substandard fic, but at this point I will take it to counter the sheer amount of Anti Stark/Sam/Tyrion/North, pretty much anti anyone who even GLANCES at Dany/Rhaegar wrong.
Read and enjoy at your own risk!
The Trope: Daenerys would have been an outstanding Queen and ruler.
This I never understood as Dany should never have taken the Iron Throne in the first place. She clearly showed that she had become Robert Baratheon, a much better conqueror then a ruler. I don't get all these fics where she's depicted as an amazing and incredible ruler when she did a piss poor job in Essos, in BOTH Canons Book and Show
Also a shout out to
Alperez16 for saying 'THEY' destroyed her character when her character is actually well in tunned from previous seasons like she told her allies and like she showed Kings Landing.
Bend the knee or Die. Maybe it worked for Aegon, but she sure as hell ain't the Conqueror.
The ship creaked and groaned as it sailed to Westoros...Tyrion relaxed in his chair alongside Varys...there were times when he couldn't read the Eunuch, wondering if he did see him as a friend.
"I can't tell you how glad I am that you were able to achieve such a position." Varys said smoothly.
Tyrion nodded, staring at the Hand of the King brooch the Queen had given to him a few days before.
Seeing the troubled look on the dwarf's face, Varys frowned "something wrong?"
"...When I approached her in Meereen, the city looked to be in revolt, and I heard about the revolts in Yunkai and Astapor."
Varys paused a moment, then nodded "yes, she is young. She can grow of course, but she seems to have learned much from the Dothraki, who believed power decides who rules. And who more powerful then the Mother of Dragons?"
Tyrion said, half speaking to Varys and the other half to himself "she may have much to learn about what it means to be a ruler, but surely can't be worse then my dear sister..."
...But his darling Sister didn't have control over three dragons.
Tyrion shook his head...his new Queen had much to learn about ruling it seemed, about politics and the Game, needing to know that to tell her allies to 'Bend Or Die' would not help matters.
I never believed for a moment Dany was meant for the Iron Throne. And had a feeling she would always go mad, especially raised by rapists and murderers like the Dothraki and her 'Darling' Moon and Stars.
