Rory has some news to tell Logan, but she's not sure how to go about it.

Jess receives a call to meet an old girlfriend at a park, of all places, and learns he has a five-year-old daughter. On top of that, she has special needs that prove too much for her mom to handle and wants to put her up for adoption. But something holds Jess back from making the same mistake.

It seemed like the obvious father of Rory's child had to be Logan Huntzberger. But what if that wasn't the case at all? Now 100% Literati.

Jess is struggling to get by, living in an apartment with three other guys, making minimum wage, and trying to make something of himself, even though no one thinks he can. Then one day Rory stops by his apartment in tears and leaves him with their day-old-son, saying she knows he'll do the right thing, but he doesn't know what the right thing is.

Upon reconnecting after their breakup, Rory takes up Logan's offer to have him join her on the road. As the pair embark on a road trip together, they are both forced to face the realization that there is a lot they both need to confront. Sequel/companion to "far beyond the stars, near beyond the moon." Explicit. Dialogue heavy. Eventual angst.
