"You've been awfully quiet this morning" Vic stated, throwing her overnight back into her locker.

"Ya what she said. What's going on in that mind Andy" Jack quoted pointing up to his head.

"Nothing just ready for another shift" Andy replied shutting her locker door and buttoning up her shirt.

Andy and Robert had decided that during this shift they would tell the team about their relationship and even though Andy was more than ready it still made her nerves shaky due to the fact she wouldn't know how the team would react.

"19 meeting in the beanery" Robert shouted from outside the locker room which caused everyone to jump slightly giving everyone a quick look.

Andy left immediately and went up first of which Robert smiled up at her and nodded up at her.

"Good morning Captain" Maya said, perked up realizing the dead silence around the table.

"Good Morning Bishop and 19. You're all here for a very special announcement" he started off taking in the sudden interest of the team that sat in front of him.

"Before I joined the team here with you all I met a familiar person and I fell in love with her quickly and without knowing I soon became her boss and then now her fiancé" he added looking towards Andy who had a small smile on her face.

"Who are you referring to?" Vic asked.

"Is it someone from another station in the department because I mean there are only three females here and I don't think you're referring to any of them?" Dean said clearly confused by the announcement.

Andy got up from the table causing everyone to look up at her and she reached into her pocket and slipped on her ring secretly and went to stand beside Robert.

"I have been seeing Sullivan for a few months now and yes we are now engaged and yes I also know this is very sudden but understand that this was all before I knew he would be our captain and of course we will also keep our professionalism while on duty so no you won't see any close interaction between us two." Andy stated rambling on but soon calming down when she felt Roberts hand graze up her back.

"Oh wow that was REALLY sudden" Jack said standing up and walking over to the fridge to grab a bottle of water.

"Dating? Engaged?" Travis asked clearly still at a lost for words.

"I'm happy for you two and uh congratulations on the engagement" Ben commented hugging Andy and giving Robert a fist bump.

"Vic and Dean are you ok?" Andy asked quietly after a few short seconds.

"The only words I have is wow honestly. Does Ripley know?" she asked, running her hands over her face.

"Yes the department knows," Robert answered.

"Andys getting married to our boss, the man who literally appeared from thin air and a man who seems very quiet, no offense though. This also means that you've seen him naked and likewise him. I think I'm going to just excuse myself from this conversation and go and start resupplying the Aid Car." Dean said getting up from his chair and throwing away his previously eaten granola bar wrapper.

"Congrats Andy and uh Captain Sullivan" he said, hugging Andy and looking up at Robert before leaving the beanery.

"That's all for the announcement we just wanted to tell you guys so you would know. Get back to chores and get ready for calls, we're back to being on shift." Robert said, giving Andy one last smile before leaving the beanery.

"Warren,Montgomery and Gibson you heard the Captain let's get back to work" Maya said, pushing them to leave.

"Maya your so obvious if you wanted us to leave so you three can have girl talk then that's all you had to have said." Jack commented laughing.

The three of them soon left which left the three of them still in the beanery in a silence of which made them all laugh out loud.

"So engaged huh?" Maya said, starting the conversation.

"Yes and I couldn't be any happier"

"Was the proposal nice?" Vic asked.

"Yes it was a calm setting and a great moment for just the two of us. I was surprised as I should've been obviously but I liked it." She replied.

Andy then lifted her finger and showed her ring off to them. They gasped at the diamond that sat in the middle of the silver ring and admired it from her hand.

"He might be a grouchy captain but there is clearly something in him that drew you into saying yes" Vic commented smiling.

"I don't say this often but I love you guys and I'm happy for you Andy" Maya said, hugging her and then Vic after.

"We should go help the guys before Sullivan catches us not going to our actual job." Andy said laughing.

They then left the beanery and Andy made a quick stop at Roberts office.

"Andy" he stated looking up from his computer.

"I was just coming down to finish up chores with the team when I forgot I had to give you something to hold in your desk." She said walking over to his desk.

She leaned down and gave him a quick kiss and a pat on the back before she slid her ring off of her finger and into the box of which she kept in a locked drawer on his desk.

"I love you and I will see you as my fiancé at maybe your place later and as of now you're my Captain so I shall go do the orders of which you assigned me." she commented smiling before heading towards the door.

"Goodbye gorgeous and hello Lieutenant Herrera now really go complete your duties before we get called out." He said smiling up at her not being able to control it.

They went on with their work day attending to calls here and there. Robert and Andy couldn't help but give each other quick glances and smiles during the shift and driving out on calls.

The team noticed the sudden change of the couple now with them being out and free and they enjoyed seeing Andy happy even though at times it would get a bit weird to watch.

Andy was more than pleased with how well the announcement went and she was glad that the team accepted it even though they don't enjoy Sullivan just yet.

Robert could see the happiness beaming out of Andys' eyes and he was happy to see her like this and interacting with her team laughing and playing around like they normally do.

"I like your happiness" he whispered while walking past her.

Andy looked up suddenly at him to see him winking at her and walking back into his office.
