"Someone's awfully quiet" Ryan stated sitting across the table sipping his coffee.

"I have something to tell you," Andy said slowly looking up at him.

Andy didn't really know how much Ryan knew about her engagement but she wanted to tell him in her own way regardless.

"Your not pregnant right? Not that it would be bad or nothing I'll still support you..." Ryan started saying but was shortly interrupted.

"Ryan no I'm not pregnant but I'm now engaged to Sullivan" Andy said quickly which caused Ryan to let out a big gasp.

"Engaged? Does papa Pruitt know?" He asked laughing at the name he used for him.

"Yes he does, Robert asked permission and surprisingly he gave into it."

Ryan then took Andys hand and observed the ring on her finger. He ran his finger over the diamond and laughed when he tilted her hand to the side and saw the metal shining.

"He did good with this Andy.I know I say this all the time but I'm truly happy for you and I better get an invite to the wedding whether big or small" he stated which caused Andy to roll her eyes.

"Of course you're getting an invite I would be crazy to not invite my childhood best friend" Andy said smiling.

Andy then got up from the table and went into the kitchen to pull out the brownies from the oven and quickly started placing the chips and dip on the island along with the loaded nachos and a handful of drinks.

"What's the set up for?" Ryan asked, walking into her kitchen and washing out his used coffee mug.

"Girls evening at my place" Andy said quickly.

Ryan then placed the cup into the dishwasher and looked over all of the preparations Andy gathered up on the island countertop.

"Oh so you three are going get moody drunk" Ryan said laughing.

"No we're simply going to eat comfort foods and make margaritas with light alcohol because we have shift in the morning and our captain wouldn't enjoy his Lieutenant getting her teammates hungover" She stated still swiftly cleaning up around her place.

"So I hope you three have fun;but it's time for me to go and get my workout in because I also have to go to work in the morning. Have an amazing evening" Ryan stated putting on his jacket and sneakers.

"Oh before you leave and I forget to tell you um don't quite tell my dad just yet that I told you first because he knows but I know what I'm in for when I speak to him personally so I'm waiting for a day when I'm completely free and today is not that day seeing that it's almost over and.." Andy said as she began rambling on.

"I get it now chill Herrera Jr. I wasn't going tell him anything unless he asked and even then I wouldn't put you out so fast but all I'm going to say is you better do it quickly you know he's impatient when it comes to his hija" Ryan said giving her a hug and then soon leaving.

Andy then went and took a quick shower and changed into a comfortable pajama set and within a couple minutes after the doorbell rung.

"Mmm your place smells so damn delicious Herrera" Vic said walking through the front door inhaling the smell once again.

"I never knew you to be the one to cook but this all looks amazing" Maya said laughing.

Andy closed her door and took a deep breath and walked back into the kitchen of where the girls currently were.

"Guys it's all just finger foods but thanks and also I do know how to cook for your information" Andy stated.

"Is it bad that we never had a proper hangout with all of our teammates it's only been like drinking hangout" Vic said, gathering up a plate of food.

"I mean we could always plan it you know. I did bake them a little something that I'll bring into work tomorrow" Andy said.

"So how about we get a little of the good stuff in our system so we can spill some juicy things after" Maya said, holding up a glass.

Andy then began blending up the margaritas and served them up. They gave a quick toast and began sipping and eating.

They sat together in the living room watching different shows on the TV and lounging.

"Andy you know if you weren't a firefighter you'd make a pretty good mixologist." Maya commented drinking the last bit of her drink.

"Ya what Maya said this was the perfect mixture of everything" Vic added on.

"I can make you guys one more I mean I don't think we have too much alcohol in our system" Andy stated.

"Nope one was a good starter. I don't want to feel tipsy tipsy just regular tipsy" Vic responded.

"Ok then let's move on to dessert and movies" Andy said getting up and taking the glass cups with her.

Andy then went back into the kitchen and shared out three scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and pieces of brownie into three separate bowls and went back into the living room.

"Ok so the movie is on and dessert is served" she said, passing them out and sitting down.

After about 15 minutes into the movie Vic decided to pop off the conversation before it got too late.

"So big wedding or small wedding?" Vic asked.

"Hmm I don't know, most likely small. We haven't talked about that yet and we probably won't for a little while longer." Andy responded.

"How good is the good?" Vic asked which made both Maya and Andy look up at her in shock.

"Why ask? What if we haven't gotten to that point?"

"I mean you guys do be giving each other the take me naked now eyes so does it hurt to ask?" Vic responded laughing.

"I'm not describing my sex life especially when he's your guys captain as well"

"So it's good good nice to know" Vic answered for herself.

They continued talking about everything and anything until they noticed the time. They decided to end the night and go home.

"See you in the morning" Andy hollered down the walkway watching the girls leave.

Andy soon got herself into bed but not before turning on her alarms and repacking her backpack for the morning.

She then noticed the few missed calls from Robert so she decided to call him back.

"Hi beautiful"

"Hi sorry I missed your calls I was hanging out with Ryan earlier and then I was with the girls up until about 10 minutes ago" Andy said hoping he wouldn't be mad even though she secretly knew he wouldn't mind.

"Was there drinking involved?" He asked laughing knowing that there was a possibility because of the many stories he heard about the teams days off.

"Ya but not a lot just causal eating and sipping. I'm not drunk though just a little tipsy so don't call us off working tomorrow" Andy replied sternly knowing that he could do just about that being slightly higher in rank than her.

"Babe I'm not giving any ultimatums here tonight or tomorrow I was just calling to tell you something but I guess you'll just have to meet me in my office tomorrow before shift" He stated.

"I'm listening now, why can't you tell me now?" Andy asked, desperate to know.

There was a moment of silence on the line before Robert smooth deep voice came back into the audio.

"Because I want to see your face when I say it, not only hear your reaction" he replied.

"You're no fun. I'll see you tomorrow get some rest" she answered back a little aggravated but since the morning was only a couple hours away she didn't mind too much.

"I'll see you tomorrow gorgeous sleep well" he responded ending the call.

Andy curled up into her blankets and stared out into her room at the little objects and pictures she had up on her walls and around her room before she soon fell asleep.

-I know I've been "mia" from updating for a while but I took a quick break to plan out the rest of this story and I also know that this chapter wasn't the best but consider it a filler for the rest of the couple chapters I have planned left! Thanks for reading and voting!-
