Sam runs into some hunters he'd hoped to never see again, especially since they know about Sam's previous addiction to demon blood. Dean learns the history behind the animosity and picks up the pieces, taking care of Sam in the process. Set during 12x06 but references events from 5x03.

This is an alternate version of the beginning of season 8 where Sam goes to Purgatory to rescue Dean and ends up getting hurt in the process. Please let me know if you like it. Reviews and constructive criticism are both welcomed and encouraged.
