Chapter 5: Accepting An Offer
Kurenai: As if things were calming down into Steelport, the streets were now turned into a street battle from Hell as it was chaos out here at Main Street and Ripley Drive as two police officers heard the call about a disturbance here now by the Super-Mart store. In this latest report: Police officials say that this was another gang battle that was going wrong as three members of the Lycan Rebels were dead due to massive beatings and one getting shot right through the skull. Right now, I'm with Sergeant Major Neji Hyuuga of the Steelport Police Force. Mr. Hyuuga, can you explain what happened here?
Neji: Well…I could tell that this was basically another attempt to take out either the Gemini Falcons or the Swordsmen. But I guessed wrong.
Kurenai: Like how so?
Neji: We have this woman here back at the station us to explain the details of what happened here. She's a little shook up, but she'll be ready to coöperate. As for the dead bodies, we'll have an autopsy report and find out who really killed them.
Kurenai: And there's no argument there. More of this at 11.
-Hanabi's Penthouse-
"Ugh! What…What happened last Tuesday?" Coming up from a nasty hit, Dante slowly opens his eyes as his vision was a little fuzzy at the start, but was gaining a bit of consciousness. His vision was receding a bit and can see perfectly. "Where am I?"
(SFX: BONK!)
"OW! WHAT THE HELL?!" Dante only wished that he went back to sleep as he sees a pissed-off Hanabi.
"Hanabi, could you please not hit him again?" Hinata asked with a sigh.
"Hmph! Fine!" Hanabi replied in a huff as Dante rubbed his head.
"Please forgive my sister. She's very protective at some times." Hinata said as she gave Dante some tea.
"Thanks," Dante replied as he took a sip. "So, it looks like I'm not at my crib at the moment."
"Well, Dante, I'm surprised you haven't got shot yet." Hanabi spoke with a venom tone.
The scarlet teen just smirked. "I see you still haven't changed for a bit while I was gone. So, how's Konohamaru?"
"Aren't you suppose to explain what the hell you are doing here and why my sister brought you here?!" Hanabi shouted at him.
Hinata sighed. "She is right, you know. Also: I want to hear about how you know much about my boyfriend."
Dante knew he couldn't keep them waiting as he got up. He stretched his body a bit and looks as the girls. "Well, I'll first ask Hanabi her question since she might have the urge to kick my ass again."
Hanabi smirked with her arms folded. "We're waiting."
"Okay, then." Dante explains. "Hanabi, I am having the worst luck in history! Every last one of the guys were captured and killed by the ones that attacked your sister and me. And knowing that my big brother is in jail for some time now, I had no choice but to lead the Saints."
"Um, excuse me, Dante?" Hinata raised her hand.
"Yes? Hinata, is it?" She shook her head. "Go ahead."
"Um, who are the Saints?" Hinata asked.
Dante chuckled lightly as he begins to answer that question. "Hinata, the Saints are the most infamous street gang that ever ruled Steelport to its knees. But the originality is called Konoha Saints as it was named after the school we were in. Knowing how we are, our reputation was known here as people might say we were either saviors or a menace to society."
"How come?" Hinata asked curiously.
"The Saints tend to handle things our way as we mostly don't give a shit to our higher authorities. We mostly just do what we want to do," Dante laughs softly. "But we're not all that bad."
"Then explain to why you killed that man with your sniper rifle?!" Hinata then shouts at him that startled Hanabi a bit.
Dante sighed. "Well, you should be glad that I saved you from him. That guy and his friends were in a gang called the Lycan Rebels."
Hinata was wondering what that logo was on their clothing before. She just didn't know if they are dangerous at that. "Who are they?"
"Savage beasts," Dante mentioned, "that always surround their prey and strike with fury. Mostly capable of killing and reverting to their cannibalistic ways. These guys are like the wolves and taking over the streets as their den."
"My God! Are there more of them?!" Hinata asked shockingly.
"I'm afraid so, Hinata." Hanabi sighed as her older sister turns to see her. "While you were gone, Steelport hasn't been your regular hometown. A few years ago, a war broke out Downtown that made a huge conflict between the gangs and police. Hell broke loose as the war between the two collided into a sudden death match."
"That's right, I've heard about that!" Hinata blurted out. "The police couldn't contain the problem and went to extreme measures to end it."
"Exactly," exclaimed Dante. "But after the huge confrontation, things were calming down a bit. A lot of people have lost their lives because of it. But we thought wrong as there were now three new gangs forming and waging war against each other. The ones we faced were Lycan Rebels, the second are these dangerous sword-users called the Swordsmen of The Damned, and the last one is the main threat that was called Gemini Falcons."
"How were they formed and why would they attack Steelport?" Hinata asked again.
"Beats me! Mostly because Steelport became weak and needed perfect control to whoever takes over. Right now, they separated and claimed each turf: Swordsmen have New Colvin, Lycan Rebels has Stanfield, and Gemini Falcon took over Downtown." Dante stated.
"But what about the Saints?" Hinata was curious to know.
"Well…the Saints were no more." Hinata was shocked to hear that the heroic gang members were gone. But before she could talk, Dante says more. "Actually, I'm trying to bring back the gang again. The problem is that two went into hiding and the other is locked up."
"But why does it include Naruto in this situation?" She dreadfully asked the situation.
Dante laughs lightly and said, "Your boyfriend is one of the leaders in the group."
Hinata was appauld to hear what she just heard. Naruto, the boy she fell in love with and dating, is the leader of a street gang! This was all too sudden for her as Hinata was thinking he was lying. "N-N-No! That can't be! My Naruto would never-"
"He had, but he quit after knowing how much he had to in his life." Dante stated for her.
"Like what?"
"To be there for the band and be there for you. Naruto knew that if you found out, he would regret not facing the fact that he might put you in danger. He didn't want to say anything to you because he really loves you and don't want the gangs to follow you." Dante explained.
Hinata was shocked to believe that Naruto would actually do that for her. If protecting her was his job, then Naruto must really love her to make sure she's safe. "He actually did that...for me?"
Dante nodded with a smile. "Also that he hopes to one day clean the streets so Steelport can be safe for you to walk in."
Hinata smiled with a small blush that her boyfriend would do anything to keep her safe and happy. "I don't know what to say."
"Well, you can tell him the rest when he returns. I hope to reunite him and the rest of the leaders to come back to the Saints." Dante said clearly.
"How many can lead?" Hinata asked.
"About four. Why?"
"Because..." Hinata was starting to regret what she might say, but he hopes it was the right decision. "Maybe...I can help you with bringing the Saints back together."
Both Hanabi and Dante was shocked to hear this statement from Hinata as she wants to help restore the Konoha Saints. "Big sister, are you insane?!"
"Maybe so, but I feel that those guys have others knowing who I am and try to find me. Also: Steelport is getting runover by these monsters that I almost witness someone getting raped."
This made Hanabi stop talking and wince at the thought if that ever happen to her or Hinata.
"I don't know how I got myself between your battles, Dante, but this might be something to do for my home. And I will be damned if I let these bastards kill innocent people on my watch!" Hinata shouted with determination.
Dante, out of the blue, smiles to this and knew that this was coming from a true Saints member. He just knew her after facing a few Lycan thugs and she was not bad kicking ass. It almost reminded him of another psychotic female Saint. "You want to help me rebuild the Saints again?"
Hinata did nothing but nod her head. "Only when this is over."
Dante extends his hand out to her. "Alright, Hinata! If you can help me get all the Saints back together and take down the gang leaders, I promise that Steelport will be safe and back in order. Deal?"
Hinata then shook his hand. "Deal!"
"Welcome to the Konoha Saints, Hinata Hyuuga." Dante declared as it was official.
Hanabi sighs deeply and knew that her sister might get hurt or killed while joining the Saints. But then, she felt a touch on her shoulder as Hinata was leaning closer to her.
"Don't worry, Hanabi. I'll be safe from harm. Besides, I took out three gang members and survived a massive shootout. It's gonna take a lot more to try to take me down." Hinata giggled.
After hearing this, Hanabi soon smiled warmly to know that her big sister is tough and brave as it is. If she can survive this massive gang war, Hinata might be the one to end it all. "Okay, Hinata. I believe in you." But Hanabi turns to Dante and glares at him. "If anything happens to her, Hotaru will have to find something else to pleasure with without your dick intact to you!"
Dante winced at the thought and nods meekly. Hinata just laughs at her sister's antics and knew that it will take a miracle to save Steelport.
-Above 20,000 Feet In The Air-
Floating up from the skies, a private jet was soaring close to the next stop as it had someone who was practicing her fighting styles. The room she was in had a gym and has all the necessary thing needed to get her ready for her big match next week.
Having the gold belt standing proudly on the stool, the woman was beating up a punching bag with full force and direct speed. Each blow was quick and had her do a spinning kick to boot. The woman has long violet hair and light-brown eyes. Her outfit was training outfit of black top and black pants with arm bandages.
And with one strike, the punching bag thrown off the chain and burst through with sand spewing out of it. The woman was panting softly while sweat was coming down her face. She has been training for two hours straight and took little breaks.
Her smile was seductive and deadly as a snake while she licks the sweat off her lips. She turns her attention to her belt and stares at it to know how hard she must defend it in her match at her hometown: Steelport.
"Let's see who dares fight me for this. It will all be too pleasant to take 'em all down..."
-Eden, Nevada-
Looking outside his window, Naruto was practicing his guitar skills while getting ready for his biggest concert in history. After traveling around the world and meeting new people, he was glad to really come back home.
Naruto took out something from his pocket and looks at his old picture of his girlfriend and him enjoying Stilwater when he came to visit her. He starts to smile and sees his bandmates sleeping peacefully while touring the city.
'Hang on, Hinata. Just one week left and I'll be seeing you again real soon,' Naruto thought to himself as he placed the picture away and kept on playing his guitar.
-Off The Coast of Steelport-
Away from the city lies an island with jagged rocks, deadly waves, and a security prison to uphold many of Steelport's most deadliest criminals. The prison facility was on Reaper Island as the place was ominous of being inescapable due to many failed attempts and the lost souls trapped there.
In every cell block, all the inmates separated by gender as they each wear orange jumpsuits to show their true colors. Most guards stay within reach to not have one escape or cause a riot like last time. The place was tight and each guard carries pistols and semi-automatic rifles.
But deep within the prison walls lies a man who tied and chained from top to bottom. His origin was known to many that when he got to the island, he was tested on some experiments that made him lose sight of reality. His face was hidden under a black hood and he was still while guarded by security.
But what they didn't see under the hood had something glowing on the left and was grinning evilly underneath it. He knew that it was going to be his time to escape this hell hole and kill the ones responsible for what happened during that incident a few years ago.
It's only a matter of time when these three unlikely teens will reunite once again and take back what was theirs. Their destination: Steelport.
