Then weevils dressed like munchkins started doing what looked like dancing and singing. Really they weren't sure if the weevils could sing but the sounds they made did have some melody to them.
"I wonder where Owen and Tosh are," Gwen said. They didn't see them when they got here which was odd because Tosh and Owen had been in the hub with them earlier.
Gwen's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a man with great hair showing up in a bubble and wearing a golden dress (which he actually pulled off really well).
"Doctor!" Jack exclaimed. Ianto and Gwen looked at the man in confusion. This was Jack's Doctor? He certainly wasn't what they had expected. "You're the good witch?Nice dress by the way."
"Welll, I'm supposed to ask her," the Doctor said and he pointed to Gwen, "if she's a good witch or a bad witch but yeah I am."
"Give me the red ruby slippers!" a voice exclaimed. The four of them turned around to see a man dressed like the wicked witch, Jack recognized him as the master. The weevils- err, munchkins cowered in fear at the sight of him. Gwen looked down at her feet, of course she had the red ruby slippers. How she didn't notice that before was a mystery to her. Of least now she could get home though. She tapped her feet together and said "There's no place like home," three times but nothing happened.
"Sorry, so sorry but you have to finish the story first," the Doctor said. "But don't worry the wicked witch can't get the slippers."
"I will get those slippers!" the Master said to Gwen. "I'll get you my pretty and your little dog and coffee boy too!" Then he disappeared in a swirl of black smoke.
Jack, Gwen and Ianto didn't really need the Doctor to tell them to follow the yellow brick road. They had all watched the wizard of Oz before, although this certainly was different from the movie.
"Do you know that man?" Ianto asked Jack as they walked. "You seemed to have recognized him."
"Yeah, he's the Master," Jack answered, "the Doctor's arch nemesis."
"Brilliant. Just when I thought that being stuck in Oz couldn't get any worse."
