(A.N I know with season 4 out, certain info regarding Jagged's relationship with Luka's family has come out but since I haven't watched any of that season yet I will not be mentioning it in this chapter unless I do it unknowingly. Please do not make a big deal out of this please.)
The next morning everyone emerges from their dorm rooms for the last time while they stay with Luminous & make their way to the viewing room to decide the next episode they're watching. Once in the viewing room they find their two hosts(plus one swing happy Familiar) waiting on them dressed the same as usual, the only difference being Pin's Necktie being black & neon yellow checkerboard patterned to match the right half of Luminous's Vest shirt.
"Good morning everyone I trust you slept well". Luminous says welcoming them in with a smile.
"Pretty good thanks for asking". Marinette says stepping forward & speaking for the group. "Though we were wondering how many episodes do we have left in the season"?
"11 episodes but 2 of them are a 2 parter". Luminous explains before pulling out her hat. "So who'll pick the next episode"?
"I will". Mylene says stepping forward & picking an episode from the hat. "The next episode is Desperada".
"Thanks". Luminous says taking the card back, as everyone takes their seat.
"This will be interesting". Red whispers to Luminous.
"Agreed". She whispers back before turning to the audience. "Well then let's start the episode".
Scene: Couffaine Houseboat.
Marinette: You're so talented, Luka. How long have you been playing for?
Luka: Since I was in diapers. (strums guitar)
Marinette: (giggles)
Alix: I get a feeling Marinette likes Luka a lot.
"Well this is Awkward"? Luka says rubbing the back of his neck avoiding eye contact with Kagami.
"How is that so? After all that's a different timeline where the two of you develop romantic feelings for each other rather than the platonic ones you two currently have". Kagami points out to her boyfriend. While Alix laughs & places a hand on Kagami's Shoulder.
"Kagami you have a lot you still have to learn about the real world". She says shaking her head.
Alya: At least she can have a normal conversation with him without getting all (babbles) blahblah blahblah blahblah blahblah!
Mylène: I guess you mean not like when she's with Adrien.
Alix: & at least Luka gets to go out whenever he wants.
"Groan! Thanks for the reminder". Adrien groans at the reminder of his home life when he gets outta here, having preferred the freedom being in this pocket dimension has given him.
"I'd hate to be you at your next weigh in Adrikins". Chloe says making the sunshine child feel worse about himself.
"Why what'll happen"? Alya asks, confused.
"You see his father has Adrien on a really strict model diet to keep him at a certain weight. When we get back & Adrien has his next weigh in, things won't go so smoothly as usual with how much Adrikins has been eating here he'll surely gain a few ounces at least". Chloe points out.
"So hawkmoth will have a cow if Adrien gains a few ounces"? Nino summarizes.
"Pretty much".
"That's awful Adrien needs more meat on his bones not to look like a stick figure". Sabine shouts outraged.
"You're preaching to the choir there Sabine". Luminous says resuming the episode.
Scene: Seine.
Kagami: Thank you.
Scene: Couffaine houseboat.
Mylène: They're so cute together.
Alix: So true.
Alya: Sure are.
Adrien: You think? (they gasp)
Kagami: I agree. That boy & your friend seem to get along very well.
"Why do we have to watch this, it's embarrassing". Mari groans.
"I just show you the episodes, I didn't make them". Luminous says, holding her hands up in defence.
"Besides this is hardly the most embarrassing thing that you have, Marinette". Chloe says with a gleam in her eye like she's about to list off all her embarrassing moments.

Alya: Adrien! Kagami!
Alix: Your father let you out?!
Adrien: We're officially at fencing practice right now, but - Oh, no, Kagami. Isn't this the wrong address?
Kagami: Oh, dear, I think you're right.

"Adrien, I do believe we should try that at some point when we get back". Kagami says amused.
"Only if we can go on a double date". Adrien bargens.

Luka: It's a good thing Adrien's found someone he can get out of the house with at last.
Marinette: ... Hi, Adrien. It's cool you couldn't come alone. Oh-I mean, you came with someone. (giggles nervously) Hey Kagamoo- Ah, Kamoogi- Uh Kagami...
Kagami: Nice to see you too, Marinette. Have you come to watch your boyfriend rehearse?
(Marinette stammers.)
?: (shouting from the boat's deck above) I will NOT be your second choice!

Alya: Kagami might be on to something, you know.
Marinette: Luka? You know he's just a friend. (Alya sighs.)
"Girl I would be complaining that we hear to much of that expression from Mr. Clueless over there,-

- oh shush Sunshine you know it's true. Anyways like I was saying I'll let you go for saying it this time, since you're dating Adrien". Alya says, wrapping an arm around Marinette.
"Uhh thanks"?
Scene: Seine.
Jagged Stone: You know perfectly well you were my first choice. You're the only one, Nanarky.
Juleka & Luka: "Nanarky"?
Anarka: You can't fool me, pirate. I bet you threw your guitarist overboard again!
Jagged Stone: No, I swear, I didn't. She sailed away from me, she left me in the lurch. Look how perfect we were together. Come back & play with me, Nanarky.
Juleka/Luka: Jagged & our mom?
Anarka: We're not co-captains anymore. I sail alone now, skipper.
Luka turns around looking at Jagged in a new light. "I-is that true"? He asks, having never heard of this before.
"Sure is mate, but it's just like your Mum said we went our separate ways, & let's just leave it at that for now". Jagged says not really wanting to go into it right now.
"Okay". The siblings say together.
Jagged Stone: Marinette! You're here! The awesome designer of these rock 'n' roll shades of mine. I'm sure you can help me. I need a guitarist like yesterday. Do you play guitar?
Marinette: Me? - Guitar? I-I can play a few notes on the flute, but I don't think...
(Alya points gestures toward Luka & Adrien's general direction.)
Marinette: No wait, Jagged. I know the perfect musician.
Jagged Stone: Really? You rock, Marinette!
Marinette: I'm sure you know Adrien Agreste. He's the cutest - uh - the greatest model - I mean, musician in the world!
(Everyone gasps)
Adrien: Well, I know a few chords, but I'm more of a pianist actually.
Jagged Stone: Uh, okay, you sure? How 'bout that young dude with the awesome T-shirt? Don't you think he's better equipped for the job?

"Wow she got Akumatized so quickly we didn't even see Hawkmoth". Alix says impressed.
"Who cares the less we see of him the better". Chloe says with a flip of her hair.
"Amen to that". Lumi reluctantly agrees.
Anarka: Ah-hah! You ship rat! I knew you were lying. Vivica didn't leave you. You dropped her just like you would drop me before...! (Jagged Stone groans)
Desperada: What? You were thinking of replacing me with HER?
Anarka: Hey! - I'm a much better guitarist than you, & I was his first choice.
Desperada: In that case, you'll be my first choice too! (disappears Anarka) I never miss a musical note. Vivica ALWAYS hits her targets! (disappears Kagami)
(Desperada disappears all people in Paris.)
"Other than this Akuma working a bit too quickly, that's a really cool power" Kim admits.
"But doesn't this episode seem rushed"? Max points out.
"Huh".
Scene: Couffaine houseboat.
Marinette: I never should've given that guitar to Adrien. Why did I do that, Tikki?
"Well at least you can admit your faults kit". Red says, patting his kit on the head.
"Hey"! Adrien laughs trying to straighten up his hair.
Tikki: You have a troubled heart, Marinette.
Marinette: Arrrgh! What is happening to me?! Tikki, spots on!
Scene: Seine.
Luka: Not there. You'd be a sitting duck in that cabin.
Desperada: Where are you running to, wannabe?
Jagged Stone: Stop it, Vivica, you're giving rock 'n' roll a bad name.
Desperada: (disappears Jagged Stone)
Penny Rolling: Jagged-? No-!
Desperada: (disappears Penny Rolling)
Ladybug: I may not play a guitar, but I do play the yo-yo. Care for a duet?
Desperada: Solo!
"I'm just gonna"... Luminous says walking out of the room with a couple of tears in her eyes.
"What's with her"? Alix asks while Red shrugs & Pin facepaws.
"Hearing Duet then Solo like that probably gave her flashback to episode 380 of One Piece" Pin explains, yet not really explaining at all.
"Why what happens in that episode"? Kagami asks, curious.
"Don't ask".
Scene: Seine riverbank.
Luka: We'll be safe here.
Adrien: Thank you, Luka.
Hawk Moth (o.s.): Perfect, Desperada!
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.
Hawk Moth: Ladybug's Miraculous are within reach.
Scene: Seine riverbank.
Desperada: I always keep my end of the deal, Hawk Moth.
"Well I guess this is one deal you won't be able to keep". Alix says with a smirk.

Luka: Where's Chat Noir?
Adrien: He might not make it here in time.
Luka: Then we must help Ladybug. May I? (plays guitar)
"I bet this is the episode where Luka becomes a hero". Chloe says with a smirk.
"We're not stupid emough to take that bet". Max informs the Queen Bee.
Desperada: Another new guitarist? (disappears everything faster)
(Ladybug throws away Desperada with her yo-yo. The riverbank breaks down with an unprecedented smash. Ladybug uses her Lucky vision with no Lucky Charm.)
"Wait sweetie, that works without a lucky Charm"? Sabina asks her daughter, surprised.
"Why wouldn't it"? Marinette asks, confused.
"Good point".
Ladybug: This way - quick!
Desperada: You won't get away for long!
Scene: Sewers. Luka, Adrien, & Ladybug are running.
Ladybug: You shouldn't have put yourself in danger like that. But... thank you.
Luka: You can count on us whenever you need help. (plays guitar)
Ladybug: I appreciate it, but when you're dealing with a supervillain, it's better to have a partner with superpowers. Speaking of which...

"Dude, that's your voice messaging system"? Nino asks, not even surprised it includes a Chat pun.
"Of course it is". Adrien says confused by the question.
"Sigh".

(A gong appears)
Luka: A gong? What're you gonna do with that?
Ladybug: I'm gonna have to leave you guys for now, but I'll be back soon.

Desperada: I'll find that brat guitarist sooner or later, Ladybug!

Ladybug: Let's just say I have my own personal style. Meanwhile, find a place to hide. Both of you!
(Ladybug uses her Lucky vision. Luka & Adrien run into the locker.)

"Or you two could hide in there together & make the fanfiction writers really Happy". Pin says making the two boys blush at the implications .
"PIN"! Luminous shouts at her familiar.
"I regret nothing"!
Luka: Okay - see you later.
Plagg: How about a little nap while we wait for Ladybug to come back?
Adrien: No, it's time for Chat Noir to make his entrance.
[Transformation Sequence]
Adrien: Plagg, claws out!

"You know I kinda want to see Mr Pigeon fight her for doing that". Kim says thinking back to Gamer 2.0.
"Well this isn't a scarlet moth day or like Felix, you're only going to get one Akuma kid". Red says being blunt.
Desperada: That's better.
Scene: Fu's massage shop. Master Fu opens the gramophone to reveal the Miraculous jewelry box, & places the box between him & Marinette.
Master Fu: Marinette Dupain-Cheng. You must pick an ally you can trust to fight alongside you on this mission. Once the mission is over, you will take the Miraculous back & return it to me.
Marinette: Desperada's relentless. There's no room for error with her - there'll be no second chance. Or maybe this one.
Master Fu: The snake's power is a very strong one, Marinette. Whoever uses it must be wise enough, not to be tempted to manipulate time for their own personal gain.
Marinette: I understand, Master Fu, I know just the perfect person. I can't believe I didn't think of him before - a perfect match.
"Please don't tell me she is going to give it to Adrien". Chloe groans.

"Well as a hero my eyesight as you know is a lot better & I even can see in the dark, but I've always had a sensitive nose". Adrien admits rubbing the back of his neck.
"That's putting it lightly, Adrikins used to become lightheaded in gala's we had to attend from all the perfume women were wearing". Chloe says, making Adrien blush.
Ladybug: Your incredible nose failed you this time.
Luka: Chat Noir. Ladybug. Have you defeated Desperada yet? Oh, where's Adrien?
Cat Noir: Um, maybe he took off & hid somewhere else. Let's split up & find him. Hide in there for the meantime. Claws in! (detransforms)
Adrien: Plagg, Ladybug needs me. She needs "Adrien"!
Plagg: If you asked me, this whole idea is worse than cheese in a can.
"So you have tried Cheese whiz". Luminous says amused looking at the Kwami.
"Adrien tried to give it to me while we were at school as a substitute for my beloved camembert, & it was nothing but a smear on the holy name of cheese & should not be honored to be considered cheese period". Plagg says shuttering at the memory of trying such a fowl substance.
"Can't blame you for thinking like that, you know you'd fit in, in Wisconsin". Luminous says amused.
"Oh ya why's that"?
"In the US it's known as the cheese state". Luminous says while Plagg looks like he's found heaven on Earth.
"Adrien, we must go there one day".
"After we defeat Hawkmoth, then maybe we can go there". Adrien says compromising, when Plagg fly's over to Adrien & hugs him.
"Thank you, Thank you, Thank you".
Adrien: She thinks I'm the perfect guy for this mission.
Plagg: You can't be Chat Noir & another superhero at the same time! Which means that you're not the perfect guy for this mission.
Adrien: The lucky charm told her I am.
Plagg: That's not how it works. Why am I bothering? You're not even listening.
Adrien: This is my chance to get her to love me as myself! "Adrien"! I don't care what costume comes with it, I have to try. Ladybug chose me!
"It seems you both are thinking with your hearts not your heads". Kagami says, sense of what a bad idea this is.
"I warned you not to give the snake miraculous to someone who would use it for their own good, & that is exactly what Adrien is doing using the miraculous as a chance to woo you". Fu says not happy with her choice this time.
"Hehehe, we all make mistakes once in a while master, after all you would know about that best". Marinette says, reminding him of his own shortcomings.
"Girl that was a low blow". Alya says feeling sorry for the old man.
"I know"!
Ladybug (o.s.): Adrien?! (back onscreen) Adrien?!
Adrien: Uh... Ladybug?
Ladybug: Where were you? Is everything okay?
Adrien: Yeah. I was just hiding a bit further down. I thought it'd be better if Desperada couldn't find us both in the same place.
Ladybug: I need you.
Adrien: Me?
Ladybug: Adrien Agreste, here's the Miraculous of the Snake, which grants the power of Second Chance. You will use it for the greater good. (Adrien takes the box) Once we defeat the supervillain, you will return the Miraculous to me. (starts to act like Marinette) Can I love - Uh, trust you?
"Watch out Ladybug, your Marinette is shining through". Chloe says amused.
"Groan, Oh no".
Adrien: Yes, Ladybug. (places the box in the palm of his hand & opens it)
(A glow appears out of the box. Sass appears between Adrien.)
Adrien: Amazing!
Sass: Greetings. My name is Sass, & I'll be your Kwami.
Adrien: But what am I supposed to do?
Sass: All you have to say is... "Sass, scales slither."
[Transformation Sequence]
Adrien: Sass, scales slither!
(Adrien transforms into Aspik)
"Okay Dude what's with the Cowl"? Nino can't help but ask.
"It helps protect my identity better, no Blond hair, no reason for anyone to think I'm Chat noir". Adrien says, trying to think of a reason.
"Good point, but the eyes look similar". Alya point's out.
"Ya, but that's a miraculous side effect, nothing I can do about it". Adrien shrugs that one off.
Cat Noir's voice: Chat got your tongue? Leave a message.
Ladybug: Cat! I found Adrien. We're gonna go after Desperada. Meet us under Trocadéro square fa-!
Aspik: I hope I don't disappoint you, Ladybug.
Ladybug: I know you won't. You're perfect. Uh, perfectly capable of defeating Desperada! We need all the odds in our favor. Desperada is a fearsome opponent.
[Superpower Sequence]

(A saddle appears)
Aspik: I would have preferred a horseshoe for my first mission.
Ladybug: (giggles) I love your sense of humor!
"So do you just hate my sense of humor when I'm Chat Noir"? Adrien asks hopefully.
"No Kitty, my love for you just made me blind to how Bad your puns are when I know it's you".
"Aww man".
Aspik: Really? Thanks!
Ladybug: If anything goes wrong, the second chance allows you to go back in time to the exact moment you activated it.
Aspik: Got it.
[Superpower Sequence]
Aspik: Second chance. (adjusts bangle)
Ladybug: We now have five minutes. Within this time range, you can go back in time as many times as you want. But after that, when the head of the snake goes back in place, you'll detransform. Still no Cat... Come to think of it, we're okay without him. Now that we have your power, you & I are gonna make an awesome team.
(Ladybug & Aspik climb up. Plagg groans.)
"Agreed". Pretty much everyone in the room agrees with Plagg.
Scene: Paris.
Ladybug: ... Where is she?
(Desperada materializes out of nowhere.)
Desperada: Nobody can escape me from here.
(Desperada disappears Ladybug.)
Hawk Moth (o.s.): Very nice, Desperada.
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.
Hawk Moth: Once you've captured Chat Noir & you don't need your powers anymore, these stickers will release the heroes & their Miraculous will be mine.
Scene: Paris.
Plagg: (indignant) Awesome team, all right!
Aspik: Gimme some time.
"Adrikins, this is going to be utterly ridiculous. How many times will it take for you to realize that you're not meant to use the snake miraculous"? Chloe asks her oldest friend.
"I hope it won't take too long". Adrien says knowing that this is one miraculous he shouldn't be using.

Ladybug: We now have five minutes-
Aspik: Before I transform back, I know.
Ladybug: Did we not make it?
Aspik: No, but I used my power of second chance. No time to wait for Chat Noir - we're fine without him. You'll see, we're gonna make an awesome team - Aspik & Ladybug.
Ladybug: Aspik? Wow! You've only just started being a superhero & you already seem to have all of this down.
Aspik: Guess you made the right choice, Ladybug.
(Ladybug & Aspik climb up. Plagg groans.)
"I'm right there with you Plagg, Kit needs to know when to woo & when to fight". Red says facepalming.

Aspik: No, wait. The first time, Desperada's fire came from there.

"Not the time you love sick kitten". Alya growls.
"Yes ma'am". Adrien whimpers afraid of angry Alya.

(Desperada disappears Ladybug.)
Plagg: (indignant) Awesome team, all right!
Aspik: I just need a bit more time.
Plagg: To do what?! Charm Ladybug?! Or defeat the villain?!
"BURN"! Shouts the burn squad.
Aspik: Second chance!

Aspik: Sass, scales rest. (detransforms; & catches him in his hands)
"FINALLY"! Everyone shouts tired of seeing Adrien mess up again & again.
"Yeash no need to be so harsh about it". Adrien winces from the noise.
Ladybug: But...
Adrien: It didn't work. I'm so sorry. I wasn't the right choice for you after all.
(Plagg sighs)
Ladybug: No! You have to be the right snake. I guess I must've done something wrong.
Adrien: No, it's not you. I just can't protect you. I never managed to save you.
Ladybug: We can try again.
Adrien: No, I can't bare seeing Desperada capture you every time without ever being able to save you.
Ladybug: How many times did you see me?
Adrien: I've been trying for months. It was 25,913th time. I don't know what to do anymore!
"Dude you should have stopped ages ago, & how did you keep track of all those times". Nino says shocked he went through so many cycles of second chance.
"I don't know, but at least we know I'm almost unwilling to give up when it comes to helping my lady". Adrien says trying to look on the bright side.
"No kidding, I don't know who else would willingly go through that many time loops". Nino says in disbelief, while Luminous raises her hand.
"I do". She admits.
"You do"? Echo's several people in the room.
"Yep Dr. Strange, is well known for it & saying Dormammu I've come to Bargain". She explains. (AN I'm not an MCU fan I've only seen 2 movies in total Doctor Strange & Ironman so please don't make a big deal out of it in the comments section please)
Ladybug: But... who could possibly wear this Miraculous beside to you?
Luka: Ladybug? (appears) Oh, I see you found Adrien. I'm glad, I was worried.
Adrien: ... Brave? Determined? Caring? Why don't you give him the Miraculous?
Ladybug: Thank you for saving my life so many times, Adrien. (kisses)
Adrien: I'll go & hide. I'm sure you guys will succeed, Ladybug.
Luka: Did I miss something?
"Clearly I missed a lot". The bluenette says amused.
Ladybug: Luka Couffaine, here is the miraculous of the Snake, which grants the power of Second Chance. You will use it for the greater good, if you're willing. (Luka takes the box) Once we succeed, you must return the Miraculous to me. Can I trust you?
Luka: Desperada attacked my family, & my friends. So if I can help you anyway, I will. (places the box in the palm of his hand & opens it)
(A glow appears out of the box. Sass appears between Luka & Ladybug.)
Sass: Greetings. My name is Sass, & I'll be your Kwami.
Plagg: Ah! At last, you've come to your senses.
Adrien: I'm not sure Ladybug will have very fond memories of her experience with "Adrien Agreste".
Plagg: Then make up for it as Chat Noir.
Adrien: You're right.

Ladybug: Time to de-evilize! (Ladybug catches the akuma) Gotcha!
Ladybug: Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug! (She throws the saddle into the air, the Miraculous Cure restores damage & turns Desperada back into Vivica)

Ladybug, Chat Noir, & Viperion: Pound it!

Hawk Moth: History repeats itself, Ladybug! But rest assured, one day I will be the one who rewrites it! (He laughs evilly as the window closes)

(AN So sorry for the long break work has been constantly on my back. It's become harder to get my chapters out on schedule & things are likely to remain random in the update department from here on out.
Also Please Please Please stop asking me to do season 4, The Shanghai Special, The new york Special, the movies, or anything else Miraculous. I've told everyone several times before that I'm ending this series when I finish season 3 & I'm keeping my word on that. One of the reasons why my updates become so stagnant is because everytime I get one of those comment on any site I post on it actually makes me want to quit writing this series right then & there, so please just stop. I won't hold it aginst the people who ask on previous books in case they're not caught up but people constantly doing this when I've even wtiten in the title of the story that it's the last one in the series is just getting old. If I was going to write more in the series I would remove it from the title okay?
