"Where am I?" Diane asked. Everything looked dead and in ruins.
"In the future," a voice said. He looked over her airplane. "You must have flown though an anomaly."
"What's an anomaly?" She had flown in though the rift but had no clue if he knew what the rift was.
"I'll explain later. We have to get to safety before anything comes after us."
Diane wasn't sure where she had gone. Everything looked so different and there was a man with a blue box there too. He looked so young but his eyes were old.
"You're a long way from home, aren't you?"
"Who are you?" Diane asked.
"I'm the Doctor," he answered. He smiled at her. "Need a lift?"
