I know that I haven't updated "Eternal Flame" in what seems like a long time, but I've had other projects, and plus, I was in the process of moving. Anyway, I'll update now. NEVER GIVE UP ON KLAROLINE!

Klaus licked his lips as he walked into his room after a successful hunt. The victim had practically begged for his life as the hybrid drained him of his blood. Closing the door behind him, Klaus unzipped his jacket and threw it on the floor. Looking at the table in the middle of the room, he came across a manilla envelope with his name on it. That's strange, he thought. This wasn't here when I left. I wonder who it's from?
His curiosity piqued, Klaus took the envelope off the table and opened it. When he did, he came across a whole bunch of pictures. As he looked at them, a smile appeared on his lips as he recognized the person in the pictures. They were of Caroline, in different poses. Obviously, she was doing this for him.
My word, he thought. Caroline is definitely a bold little vampire if she's doing this for me.
Deciding that he'd call her, he took his cell phone out of his pocket and scrolled down his contacts until he came to Caroline's number, pressing "SEND" and waiting until he heard her voice when she picked up on her end.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Caroline," he replied. "I got your little package."
"You did, huh?" said Caroline. "Did you like the pictures?"
"I certainly did," said Klaus. "I particuarly liked the poses you were in. It made me wish that I was there during the photo session." He chuckled as he sat on the bed. "I take it I was going through your mind as you were posing for them?"
"Yes, you were," said Caroline. "I have to admit, I did feel kind of dirty as I was taking them." She sighed. "Did you get the other package I sent? I sent you a little something extra with the pictures."
"Other package? There was another package?"
"Yes, I sent some flowers in addition with the pictures," said Caroline. "I know, I was pushing it, but I wanted to make sure that you got something extra. You might say you might have had some influence on me."
Klaus looked around and then noticed a vase of flowers on the table that the envelope had been found on. "I found the vase. I must say, Caroline, you have good taste. I'll have to return the favor."
"I had a feeling that you might," said Caroline. "Let me guess, it's going to be a drawing of some kind?"
"Oh, I'm not going to give away the surprise, love," said Klaus. "Though, I do appreciate the fact that you sent me something. I'll get started on your present and get it sent to you immediately. I'm not the kind of man who wastes time."
He then hung up the phone after saying good night to Caroline and took out his sketch book, not wasting any time in doing a new sketch. The pictures he had received inspired him and he wanted to make something special for the blonde vampire in his life to thank her for thinking of him.
Note: I know this is short, but I couldn't think of anything else. Real life was hectic and I was working on other projects. Anyway, enjoy the update!
