"Well Jack's not perfect. You don't even want to know about some of the stuff he's into for starters."
"Yeah but at least he notices you."
"I'd prefer it if he noticed Gwen a little less. Seriously what does she have that I don't?"
"Nothing." Ester sighed. "I guess we're both just unlucky in love not that Jack and Rex don't have their good points."
"Yeah. Would you like some more tea Ester?"
"I would love some. Thank you Ianto."
Typing this made me realize how much EsterxRex is like ToshxOwen, both of them really like someone who's grumy and pushes them away but I like to think Owen really did like Tosh back and Rex loved Ester. And in both cases in the end it's too late for them to be together. Also where was the Doctor for the last two seasons of Torchwood? He was really needed for those seasons.
