Torchwood Doctor Who crossover. AU sort of Janto version of the Master and Lucy.
The teaboy and his Captain were going to rule the world. Everything was going according to plan but then a reporter had turned up and told him that Jack's life was a lie. He had known that of course, he had helped create the lie.
"There was a time when I might have doubted him," Ianto said. "But he needs me and I love him. And vice versa right, Jack?"
"Of course Yan," Jack said. And the reporter tried to convince him that she was only joking but of course Jack and Ianto knew she wasn't. She was killed after that of course but Ianto was still worried.
"What if she's not the only one?" he asked. "I thought I created your back story perfectly."
"You did," Jack assured him. "She was just almost as smart as you but most people aren't. Everything will be fine I promise."
When the day they took over the world came Jack played some music.
"Seriously your ending the world to this?" Ianto asked.
"Hey, I have great music taste," Jack replied and he pulled Ianto into a the Doctor interrupted their dance and Jack him locked away. Ianto had wanted to kill him.
"He's out of our ways he's not going to ruin our plans," Jack insisted.
"But why not kill him?" Ianto demanded.
"Because then he won't suffer. I need revenge."
Or because you love him, Ianto thought but didn't say. After all Jack had waited two centuries for the Doctor and kept the Doctor's hand which Ianto had caught him staring at it. Ianto shook his head at that train of thought. Jack was with him and not the Doctor and that was what mattered.
"Do you think my father is down there?" Ianto asked changing the subject.
"Yeah. Do you want to save him?"
"No I want to kill him myself." And those kids who beat him up in school and his ex-girlfriend Lisa.
Jack smiled. "You'll get you revenge Yan."
But of course the Doctor did escape but he didn't kill Jack, Jack's daughter Alice did. Really she had tried to shoot Ianto but Jack jumped into the way.
"Till death do us part. I guess this makes you a widow now Ianto."
"Jack," was all Ianto had managed to say before Jack died. Ianto cried even though he knew Jack would come back to life. He was vaguely aware of the Doctor taking the gun out of Alice's hands.
We might not ever rule the world but no one's going to keep us apart not even the Doctor , Ianto promised Jack.
I'm not sure if the tocalfone still exist in this universe. Sorry if this drabble seems rushed or doesn't make sense. On a unrelated note I Google imaged funny captain jack and found an ecard that said: I wish Rose and Jack had gotten married before the titanic sank so Rose could have gotten survivor benefits. I thought it was talking about Doctor Who and then I realized it meant the movie The Titanic. I feel so stupid and amused by my mistake.
