LINCOLN ELECTED!

By a shocking twist of fate, Republican Illinois Senator Abraham Lincoln has succeeded in gaining the seat of Presidency. Championing mostly in the North, with the exception of New Jersey that voted in favor of his opponent, Senator Stephen Douglas. Mr. Lincoln had gained a popular vote of 1,866,425 while Mr. Douglas gained only 1,380,202. Many Southern governors have raised their voices in protest of the Republican nominee being elected, claiming that Mr. Lincoln had been elected through malicious means. However, no such sign has been found.

Where will this lead our country? This reporter, unfortunately, has no idea. All we can do is wait and see.
