Luna loud looked out of the window of her tour bus her actions from those years ago had not withered completely away liked she had hope as her sisters did. Luna just looked out of the window wondering what could have caused this to happen and if there was a way to fix there mistakes as much as she knew as much as she didn't want to accept that it was her long lost brother who had vanished so long ago he cut the tracker out of cheek so he couldn't be found.
The searched as the days passed but accepted the dreadful truth he was gone not knowing if he was dead or alive. She felt a hand place on her shoulder Luna looked to see it was he girlfriend Sam looking at with a soft smile before giving her a soft kiss on the lips Luna smiled a little bit and returned the kiss " Okay I know that where a little early because the concert is next Thursday but Let's get to the hotel and get ready to practice " Katie Crest the manager said to the group as she sat down near the front of the bus as the drove towards the Hotel.
Lincoln was sitting at his desk in a small office he had a pile of papers in front him. These papers where to expand his auto Body shop across the country the reason for this was that Chevy, Ford, Honda and other big name automobile companies had bought out small Auto Body shops and removed the workers who had been there for years and brought in there own people. Some of the workers that Lincoln has working for him where those who lost there jobs to these big name Companies.
He heard a knock on the door " Come in" Lincoln said as he was still looking at the papers the man walking was an old bunk mate of Lincoln's when they where in Boot Camp His name Was Adrian and he was almost like a brother to Lincoln " Hey Lincoln hope I'm bothering " Adrian said to him " No not really just looking over some papers is all" Lincoln said to his friend.
" Oh really like what?" Adrian asked him wondering what his friend was looking at " These are Expansion to keep us above water from the big Auto companies" Lincoln said as he got to get a bottle of water from a mini fridge. Adrian looked at the papers that where on Lincolns desk. Adrian looked at these plans and was surprised at the amount of work he had put into it " Not bad Lincoln so how many years is this expansion plan of yours is going to keep us going?".
Lincoln was drinking some water before had had answered " I'm hoping Forty or Fifty years at least I just want to keep my people going strong after all we gave for this country and getting fucked by the politicians it only seems right that I give these guys a chance so that they could say they where given another chance in society" Lincoln said.
Adrian nodded his head then something crossed his mind " Lincoln I know that the business is doing and all but where did the money from the bonuses come from?" Adrian asked him. Lincoln sighed and looked at him face to face " Half of the money came from the business the other half came from me retirement" Lincoln said to his friend. Adrian looked with a shocked expression on his.
" Lincoln I don't understand that money was for Alaska W-Why would do that?" Adrian asked him wondering why Lincoln took his own money and gave it to his employees for a bonus. Lincoln sighed as he looked at Adrian " i'm not going to Alaska Adrian and I don't think I'm going to "Lincoln told his friend. Adrian looked him with a confused look " What are you talking about of course your going you told that you have everything planned out " Adrian said to him.
Lincoln sighed " Look me and you have been through hell in boot and and in the Corps but there are somethings that are personal and I don't wanna talk about okay" Lincoln said to his friend. Adrian nodded his head he knew about Lincoln's painful past and how he's tried so hard to leave it behind him and move forwards with life.
" Alright brother just remember you can tell me anything you know that right" Adrian said to his friend Lincoln nodded his head knowing that he could talk to Adrian about anything because of there long friendship
At the High school
Jacob was sitting in his last class everyone was playing games or talking to each other He just looks at the clock and see's that school was almost over. ' Five,four, three, two, one,' He said to himself as the bell rang " Alright Everybody have a nice vacation and merry Christmas " the teacher said as the students left the classroom. Jacob walks to his locker and opens it he grabs his books papers pencils.
Once he closes it then makes his way towards the front door of the school he pulls out the paper Lincoln gave him he pulls out his then begins to dial. In his office Lincoln was putting the papers in the top drawer of a small file cabinet he had bought a while back. Lincoln felt his phone ring once he answers " Hello?" Lincoln asks
" Lincoln it's me Jacob I'm done with school and was wondering when can you pick me up?" Jacob asked him " Oh Yeah I can come and get you right but I'm also still working so hope you don't mind kicking it here for a little bit?" Lincoln asked Jacob " No I don't mind beside it's probably better then just staying in a empty home by myself " Jacob said to Lincoln. " Alright I'm on my way" Lincoln said to Jacob and then hung up the phone.
He walks out of his office and heads to Adrian " Hey Adrian " Lincoln said to his friend " What up Lincoln " Adrian said as he looked up at his boss " I'm going out to do something real quick think you can hold down the fort while I'm gone ?" Lincoln said to Adrian.
"Sure Thing boss" Adrian said to Lincoln. " Thanks man" Lincoln said he walked towards his car.
Outside of the Highschool
Jacob watches other students walking towards there cars or going to the parents or friends pick them up and drop them off Jacob sighed at the sight he remembered when his parents used to do the same for him and when it stopped it he felt that he was abandon by his parents. His train of thoughts stopped when he saw Lincoln pull up in his car.
He grabbed his back pack and walked towards the car opens the passenger door and sits down once he has his seat belt the two pull away and make there way towards Lincoln's garage
" Alright here we are " Lincoln said as he and Jacob exited the car as they walked through the garage only a few workers looked at Jacob but then went back to doing there job. Jacob followed Lincoln into his office " Alright I have a couple of hours to go still so just kick it in here for a little bit and then I'll take you out for dinner there's a TV there so go ahead and knock your self out" Lincoln said to the Teenager who nodded his head.
AS Lincoln went back to work Jacob sat in a chair and turned on the TV he surfed through different channels trying to find something to ease his mind as the hours passed Jacob just left on a nature channel he didn't pay attention to the channel he was drawing a tiger on a sketch book he had bought.
Jacob was almost finished when he heard the office door open " Alright guys time to get your bonuses " Lincoln as he went around behind his desk and the workers followed behind him. The Teenager watched as Lincoln handed envelopes and the workers say 'thank you' god bless you Lincoln' or 'thank you staff Sergeant' it took an hour for Lincoln to finish.
" alright then Let's go kid " Lincoln said to Jacob. The young man picked up his back pack and follows Lincoln to his car and drove off as the closed the garage for the night.
The two went to a well known restaurant it was packed on Fridays with High school students who would kick it there to hang out and joke around " Well here we are" Lincoln said to Jacob as the two got out of the car and walked inside.
" Hello table for two" A hostess said to Lincoln and Jacob " Yes ma'am" Lincoln said to hostess " alright then follow me please" the hostess as she seated the two the high School students notice Jacob was there and then began to mummer among them selves they've seen Jacob around the school before but when Lincoln looked at them they went back to doing there own thing " Ok here you go would you two would you like something to drink?" the hostess asked them.
" Yes I would have a Cherry Coke and Jacob?" Lincoln asked him " Oh a " Jacob said to the hostess " Alright I'll be right back with your drinks " the hostess said to the two and walked away. Lincoln was looking at the menu as was Jacob he was trying to figure out what to eat as he focused on the menu something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye it was Christy she was with her friends talking and laughing not since earlier has Jacob felt a sensation in his chest something he never felt before.
Lincoln looked at his menu and found what he wanted he looked towards Jacob and saw the they young man wasn't looking at his menu but looking at something else the Marine turns to see what Jacob is looking at a girl " You know her?" Lincoln asked him this caused Jacob to snap out of his thoughts " Huh?" Jacob asked him
" the girl you know?" Lincoln asked Jacob " Yeah her name is Christy she's the head of cheer squad at my school" Jacob said to Lincoln. As the two began to talk they where unaware the football team had walked in the whole team and they smelled of alcohol one of the players tapped on the shoulder of the captain the captain was the same student that shoot a spitball at Jacob during his first period " hey check it out boys the outcast is here " the captain said as the rest of the team looked towards where Jacob and saw Lincoln " Hey look he's with his Grandpa" one of the other players said causing the others to smirk as the hostess took there orders.
The football team smirked "you know last time I checked this place wasn't for outcasts so let's make sure that they know there place" The captain said to the team. Lincoln and Jacob had gotten there food Lincoln ordered a Double cheese burger with fries Jacob ordered some chicken tenders with a side of fries. Just as the two where about to eat there food.
" well, well well Look at we have here the outcast table" a voice said " Oh great" Jacob said as he saw who it was the captain of the football and the rest of his team " What are you doing here Jacob last time I checked the outcast eat outside where they belong" The captain said to the teenager " Hey" Lincoln said to the football captain " where trying to eat here so can you pleases leave us alone" Lincoln said nicely knowing how this was going to end.
" Oh my bad Grandpa I didn't know that you and your grandson where having dinner" the football captain said " Hey don't you know that old folks like you belong in a nursing home" one of the players said to Lincoln " Don't you know I'm this close to putting your spoiled ass in a wheel chair" Lincoln said.
this caught everybody's attention because no body had ever made a threat to the football like the way he did Christy felling that something was about to go down took out her phone and started to tape the whole thing.
" What did you say old man?" the Captain of the team asked " Hey you getting a little hot old man why don't we cool you off" The second player said as he grabbed Lincoln's soda and poured it on him after he finished pouring on it he took a swing at Lincoln. The former Marine grabbed his hand and gave him and uppercut the captain stumbled back but soon regain his balance and charged at Lincoln.
Lincoln grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled out a M9 Berertta and started to hit him with it the rest of the football team stood in shock Lincoln had hit about ten times when he stopped the Captain was bleeding from his mouth and nose he had a black eye " Listen to me you spoiled piece of shit my name isn't old man brat I'm not and old man or timer and next time Show some respect because you attacked A UNITED STATES MARINE UNDERSTAND!" Lincoln shouted at him
" Y-Y- Yes sir" the football captain said just then the sounds of police sirens where heard. Chrisrty walked towards the front "Excuse me" a voice said cutting Chrisrty off she turned to see a women with brown hair and a pixie cut and wore purple clothing it was none other than Luna loud.
