Letter to Sergeant Major Mulcahy, Senior Assassin and liaison in the 54th Massachusetts Regiment

Sgt. Maj. Mulcahy,

I appreciate your continued updates on the growth of the Fifty-Fourth Massachusetts. It sounds that my sister's and mine faith has not been misplaced. Word has reached me that your particular unit is having some trouble getting some basic supplies. Let me know if this rumor is true, and I will see to it that you get what you need. I have plans to travel south, towards Pennsylvania to rendezvous with the massive movement of Confederate and Federal troops, to stall the oncoming tide of war and to hopefully prevent more bloodshed.

Please inform me of any movement the Fifty-Fourth Massachusetts make and we will adjust the plans as needed.

Yours,

Henry Philip Everton
