biancurath: Ianto knows everything about everyone. You're the second person to tell me that doctors make the worst patients. Is this a well-known fact?

IStalkMyFandoms: I love Ianto too.

I love Janto: after 200 years together reading each other's minds is second nature. By then I can imagine them co-running Torchwood.

After working for Torchwood for so long it become hard to enjoy sci-fi movies. They got so much of the technical stuff wrong and really movie aliens weren't as scary as real ones. Well that was how Owen felt now at any rate. Maybe they should have gone to a different movie, but there hadn't been much to choose from and he sure as hell wasn't going to see any of the chick flicks.

Owen glanced over at Tosh wondering if she was mentally gathering up all the errors from the movie like he was. If she was it didn't show on her face and he decided not to ask her, there was no reason to ruin her good time especially not on their first date.

Tosh could feel Owen's gaze on her but she turned to look he was facing the movie again. I could have imagined it, she thought. Next time I hope we see a movie with kissing in it.

Owen was having less romantic thoughts like wondering why the heroes where being so stupid. The invading spaceship had a very obvious weakness. Saving the world wasn't for amateurs.

Somehow Doctor Who and Torchwood science doesn't affect how I view science of other sci-fi shows or movies but I figure it could make them less enjoyable for some of the Torchwood team or the Doctor. Gwen might be an exception to this but I don't think she would have ever been very into sci-fi to begin with. I can imagine Jack being a sci-fi fan and Ianto would prefer James Bond movies to movies with aliens.

I know movies of pretty much every genre can have kissing but whatever one I made up for this story doesn't or it seems like it doesn't because it takes a long time to get to that part.
