Seven Deadly Sins: Cataclysm in Liones
Chapter 1: The Boar Hat
Lilia was in her rooms conducting an experiment with an old rusty set of armour. She was trying to bring it to life as a loyal servant. All because she was bored (and trying to one up Merlin by trying to complete one of Merlin's failed experiments). Nothing had succeeded making her frustrated. She was using her orb to try and transfer some of her soul energy into the armour when her door opened. Her orb detected what she called the soul or essence of the beautiful Elizabeth. Her essence was very bright. A lot brighter than most other human souls. The only other humans who had strange essences was Escarnor (his was like a mini sun), Ban (his seemed to a state of been frozen), Meliodas (his seemed to melt into the shadows) & some of the Holy Knights like Dreyfus had stronger than normal souls but other than that was nothing special. The other sins were not human so had different souls. Lilia's soul was also stronger than a lot of other humans and in fact she was researching the hidden depths of herself. She was disturbed from her thoughts by Elizabeth saying cheerful, "Lilia. Time for our lunch." Lilia sighed as Princess Elizabeth had wormed her way into Lilia's heart & life like a parasite. Especially since she found Lilia will not eat for days if she was experimenting. Lilia blamed that habit on Merlin. So, Elizabeth seemingly having nothing better to do always came around to force Lilia to have lunch / dinner.
Lilia said, "Coming." Knowing that the princess would drag her out if she did not move. Elizabeth looking at a vial of Red Demon blood Lilia was experimenting with for Hendrickson. This could be used to animate the armour somehow. Ideas filled Lilia's head.
"What is this?" Elizabeth asked curious of the item.
"This is something Hendrickson wanted me to look into." Lilia explained somewhat vague. They headed off to lunch with Lilia tucking the vial into her pocket.
A man named Meliodas was running a tavern named The Boar Hat when a hooded figure entered the bar. Something made him notice them. Meliodas was exceptionally short making people mistake him for a child. He has messy blond hair and a pair of emerald eyes. He also lacks facial hair, further accentuating his adolescent appearance. Regardless of his stature and youthful looks, he is relatively muscular. He was wearing an ordinary, clean white button-front shirt and a black sleeveless vest on top with a loosely worn tie. His Broken Sword's scabbard is held on by a green leather belt with gold-colored buckles. He wears a pair of black boots. The figure strolled over to the bar. A soft female voice he recognised said, "Hello Meliodas."
Meliodas frowned, "Do I know you?"
The lady sighed and said, "Never mind. Can I have some food and whatever ale you may have." She strolled over to a table, scaring off a couple of tough looking guys. Meliodas watched her whist he made a meat pie and poured her a drink of ale.
Once he had finished, he went over and said, "Here you go. It's our meat pie, the Boar Hat specialty."
"Thank you." She said before tucking in. He waited for her to spit it out, but she never did. It dawned on him who was in front of him. Only one person could stand his cooking. He did not know how she liked his cooking since everyone told him that his cooking always tastes like crap no matter what he did. Speaking with Merlin did not help as she claimed Lilia's taste had been affected by some experiment that they had conducted but Meliodas always thought something was more to it then that. The so-called ex-druid had appeared one day as Merlin's student out of the blue and had only spoke to Merlin. Otherwise had been silent and mostly wearing her hooded cloak. All he got from them was that Merlin had conducted a lot of experiments with (and on) Lilia and that she engaged in some relations with Lilia if that one time finding Lilia and Merlin together was to go by. Merlin always bought that up knowing it made him uncomfortable. It did not help that Merlin was always so secretive nor Lilia being super subservient to Merlin's wishes and hardy ever speaking without Merlin's say so.
"Lilia. It nice to see you." Meliodas said politely finding it weird for Lilia to be without Merlin. He then asked, "Why are you here? Did Merlin sent you" Lilia tensed at the mention of Merlin. She then took her hood off to reveal a pair of eyes humming with more power than the last time he saw her. Some of her hair in the front was white.
She said with a shaky voice barely containing a deep bitterness, "No, she did not send me. I have not seen her since she and the rest of you vanished from the Kingdom of Liones after being framed for the murder Hendrickson did." Meliodas was surprised that she knew that he was framed for the murder of Zaratras. She glanced at the wanted pictures of Ban, Escanor, Diane, Gowther, King, Merlin and himself. "Hmm I see that he hadn't bothered putting me on a wanted poster yet.
"So why are you here?" Meliodas prompted.
"I was in the area and heard rumours of a wandering Rust Knight. I was curious of them, but I found you instead." She peered at him with a glaze full of curiosity and hunger for knowledge. Eerily like Merlin who was not called The Sin of Gluttony for nothing. Merlin's hunger for knowledge was legendary and she would do anything for new knowledge. And he meant anything so was sort of scary to see it present in Lilia's glaze. "Also, I would like some more meat pie please." At that moment, the door to the tavern opened and a hulking figure resembling Lilia's old rusty armour stumbled in.
The Rust Knight said in a distorted echoey voice, "The…. Seven Deadly Sins…."
The Apprentice Holy Knight known as Jericho was standing guard in Baste Dungeon's main entrance on behalf of The Weird Fangs (Friesia, Golgius, Jude & Ruin). They held her respect having taken her in after her request to transfer to the prison to get away from her brother. Many due to Friesia meeting her beforehand. She was standing guard in the rain whist The Weird Fangs were doing whatever they were doing. A tall elderly looking man in a set of copper-colored full body armour and a unique helmet that has hammerhead horns with a sky-blue crest on it emerged through the rain. She said in a fake male voice that sounded like a teenager as in her armour she appeared male. "Who goes there?" She done this to make herself seem strong and give herself more confidence. The man took of his helmet revealing a man with a scruffy face with a beard and an eye-patch that covered his left eye.
"Tell Jude that Helbram is here to see him" The man, Helbram stated, "With a message from Hendrickson."
