"Really I don't know how we put up with them sometimes," Jenny said. She took a sip of her tea and made a mental note to ask him where he had gotten the tea leaves from. It had a pleasant taste and aroma.
"Me neither," Ianto agreed. "Still wouldn't change Jack for the world." Jenny nodded in understanding, her wife may annoy her sometimes but it was part of what made Vastra well Vastra.
Jenny managed to steer the conversation towards the tea and then they chatted about casual things. Their day, the weather, what recent alien they had been up against. Well casual for them.
Outside the room Jack and Vastra waited impatiently. "Do you think their talking about us?" Jack asked.
